Its been a long time since the review was pending. On a cold day on March 2nd, my tankless water heater wasn’t functioning. It was on Saturday. My water heater was out of warranty too. No one was available to take my call. I called plumbing care inc. and someone responded over the phone. The person asked me several diagnostic questions about the heater and tried to help me if I could fix the issue by myself but nothing worked. The person informed me that the next available person will call me on Monday to look at the issue. Fortunately he called me back a few hours later to tell me that one technician is working around my location and can stop by to look at the issue. Within 30 minutes Hristo Ivanov from Plumbing care inc arrived. He checked everything and informed me what needed to be replaced. I agreed and within a few minutes he fixed the problem. Hot water back again. He was very knowledgeable and professional. My only complaint is that over the phone the person clearly said there is no extra charge to look at the issue and the technician will give an estimate for repairs. But Hristo told me that no matter what I have to pay a diagnostic fee which is $250 and after diagnosis the repair cost would be separate.I felt a little helpless at this point because without hot water 2-3 days would be very difficult. So I agree with the technician. He already knew what to do with the error code 11. He just replaced the igniter. Then he charged $75 for the replacement cost.I’m taking 1 star away because there was no clarity regarding diagnostic fees when scheduling an appointment over the phone.

I called Plumbing Care regarding a problem with water coming out of the hot/cold cartridges when shower was in use. I was given an approximate time for the next day. Next day the service representative sent me a text with his picture, name, and approximate arrival time. Anatoliy arrived at the expected time, and he put on a mask as I had one on, and he put coverings on his shoes before entering my home. He came already with the hot/cold Price Pfister cartridges as I had reported when I made the appointment. He did need to get the shower diverter cartridge at the hardware store but that only took about half an hour. The whole job was about an hour and a half, and he demonstrated the shower working normally again. The customer experience was great and I would recommend Plumbing Care to anyone in need of plumbing services.

I just have Plumbing Care to replace my Sewer Lateral from my front door all the way to the City Main Sewer using the trenchless pipe bursting method. They did an awesome job with a reasonable price. It took them two and a half day from start to finish. They come in a team on time at 8am and finish the job without any overtime. They worked together seamlessly and efficiently. Each one in their team knew what to do. In the process of their works, they kept the construction area as clean as possible and left me no mess at all. My next door neighbor saw their works and since he had the same issue as mine, my neighbor asked for their contact and potentially Plumbing Care would have another job from my next door neighbor. They certainly earned 5 stars from me. Highly recommended.

I was lucky to find this company after having other companies look at replacing my water heater. They were courteous, on time, and did not pressure me into getting something I didn’t need. They messaged me ahead of time to let me know who and what time their technician would arrive. Even after a year, I asked for a copy of an invoice and they sent it within minutes. You can tell this company values their customer service. Don’t hesitate to book them for your plumbing needs.

Alejandro did a fantastic job installing the new toilet. I called in the morning and Plumbing Care was able to come out in the same day. Very professional and took photos of all work performed. Invoices were e-mailed and Alejandro addressed all of my questions. The quote was a little on the high side, but you will get quality work and they also have a one year warranty on their services. I was referred to Plumbing Care as an authorized service provider by A.O. Smith for State Water heaters. I discussed the cost of repair with the assigned service tech and deferred to his recommendation that I replace the water heater rather than repair a 13-year old unit.In opting for a tankless Rinnai heater, I observed much of the removal and installation process performed by Hristo and his assistant Mario. The project was completed in approximately 5 hours, all work was executed with thoughtfulness, thoroughness and precision-a totally professional performance.I am pleased to join the growing chorus of five-star reviewers of Plumbing Care. This company run scam. Very unprofessional and keep producing wrong diagnostics. I spent more than 1k and they keep giving me issues after issues. Went with other Plummer company and I felt and saw day and night difference. Read all their 1 star ratings carefully on yelp. Rest rating looks fake/purchased. Beware from this SCAMMERS.

Right before Christmas, our ~9 year old gas water heater, purchased from and installed through Lowes, stopped working. My parents were out of the country and I was the only one home - so obviously up to me to deal with. Plumbing Care came by promptly to take a look at the water heater. After the initial attempt to repair it (replacing the gas valve and burner), Martin from Plumbing Care called me after he had checked out the photos the technician had sent. It turns out that the last time around, the wrong kind of gas water heater had been installed. Rather than a direct vent water heater, an atmospheric vented water heater had been installed. That means its not up to code, voids the warranty, and the reason why the water heater was dying. As William from Plumbing Care advised, I tried to get Lowes to rectify their mistake. But I essentially got nowhere talking to the store manager and customer care, which was disappointing. Lesson learned. William provided me an estimate for a new Bradford White direct vent Ultra Low NOx gas water heater + installation and the installation was scheduled for the next day. The technician, Keith, did an awesome job with the installation. It was cold and it took him (and an apprentice who was learning on the job) about 3+ hours to patiently drain / remove the old water heater, prepare the area for the new one, connect up the new water heater, do the requisite pipe fabrication / fitting work, and power it up. Keith was very methodical and organized and humored my questions as I observed. I took my first hot shower in a week this morning and everythings working like it should (better actually). Since this was kind of an emergency situation (and I was supremely annoyed with Lowes), I didnt take the time to do the requisite getting of price quotes from several plumbing companies. However, the many many positive reviews - as well as the helpfulness, neutral advice, and consistently customer focused service from the 2 technicians, Martin, and William convinced me to trust them. And Im glad I did! Thank you guys for being so responsive during a holiday week. I highly recommend Plumbing Care Inc, and theyll be the folks I call in the future for my plumbing needs.

This is 2nd time I am using them. Andrew Garcia came 1st trip to give an initial estimate as I was planning to switch from tank to tankless system. Gave the installation appointment same week and was prompt on the day of installation and due to un-anticipated complications with venting switched back to tank system they went and grabbed *new system and installed it. Also, replaced a kitchen faucet. Would use them again! Professional work and Andrew knows what he is doing and kept me well informed on the progress.

Amazing service!! We had another plumber install an earthquake valve on our gas main and he couldnt get our hot water heater lit. He told me it could take weeks to get the part and i should try to get them. I called Plumbing Care and the came and fixed the problem within 2 hours of me calling. Plumbing Care Inc replaced my aging gas water heater with a hybrid heat pump model. While this was not an emergency, they still turned the job around very promptly, I called on Thursday, they came to do the estimate on Friday and the installation was completed on Monday. The technician who did the estimate, Hristo, was the same one who did the installation. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about gas vs electric, rebates, tax credits, etc. Plumbing Care Inc also took care of hiring the electrician to put in the new circuit for the water heater. Hristo and the electrician worked as a team so everything got done very efficiently, even though it was a very tricky installation since the water heater goes next to the furnace in a recessed space with a bare minimum of clearance on all sides. It was all done and cleaned up, new water heater running by 3pm. I would definitely recommend Plumbing Care Inc

Two workers came to replace my old 75gal water heater. They were friendly and professional. The work was done to perfection.Update: Jan. 2024. The hot water hose corroded and leaked. They came to replace the hose and nibble, plus the safety valve, charging more than $500. It is only about 2.5 years since the installation that the corrosion broke the hose. I suspected bad workmanship. $500 for changing the hoses is too much. Changed the rating to 2 stars.Updated (4/14/2024). The owner invited me to reach out to the company directly to address my concerns, as said in his/her reply. I did try to contact the company to find out what their investigation turned out. No responses for two months now. Just lip service, no actions. Dont trust their words.

SCAM OF A COMPAY THAT CAUSES MORE DAMAGE and will NOT take Responsibility - STAY AWAY!!!!! This Saturday a technician of theirs GEORGI came to address a water heater issue. He went outside and messed with the plumbing and then came in to say he increased the water pressure. Within the day there is severe flooding in the downstairs of our house to the point it has COMPLETELY saturated the wood and we can feel water underneath our house.I call immediately and someone comes a day later because it is the weekend, next we have a technician MITKO - now this guy is an absolute piece of work. He could not figure out where the leaking comes form and says oh it must have rained ??! Clearly cannot put two and two together because it is just NOT a coincidence that the day after your technician comes there is complete flooding when prior to this there was no issues.The next day I myself (a trained medical professional, no experience in plumbing) found a significant leak to one of the pipes outside our house. I call asking for another appointment and some guys MICHAEL says we dont feel comfortable servicing your house...find someone elseSo let me get this straight....you cause COMPLETE water damage to the bottom level of my house costing THOUSANDS of dollars and you take ZERO responsibility when it correlates with when your technician worked on my house. Previous to this our house is only THREE years old and we have had NO issues. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE and SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESSWill be reporting them to the board of CA consumer affairs and my insurance company will be going after them.

Called them in the morning because of a water leak from the water heater. Said they will be here between 11am to 1pm. I got a called from the plumber Andre directly and asked if the can come sooner since they were done with their previous job. I said sure and I appreciate them asking in advance. Andre and his partner came and gave me all the options available to replace the water heater. They started work right away once we agreed. Took less than 2 hours from start to finish. They cleaned up well and gave me advice on how to maintain the water heater going forward. I used this company for another issue a few years ago so I am a repeated customer. After calling several places, I discovered that not all (or many) plumbing/water heater repairmen are very familiar with tankless water heaters. I was referred to Plumbing Care after I called technical support of the manufacturer (Takagi) of my old unit. Plumbing Care clearly knows a lot about these units. They knew exactly which one to install to fit the footprint of my old one; they came out the very next day; they gave me the full price on the phone and there were no unexpected add on costs. A pipe under the house broke which caused extensive flooding. It took a few days to remove the water and mud and then Plumbing Care worked hard for several days to identify and resolve the blockage, faulty piping, and ensure that the leak would not reappear. We had a problem with our water heater not heating the water past lukewarm. I called Plumbing Care and was able schedule a call that afternoon even though it was a Sunday. The technicians, Gerardo and Allen were great. They were courteous and pleasant and were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly by replacing the heating elements--a big relief since we had feared that we would be told we needed to replace the heater. Gerardo also gave us some information about gas cut offs in case of an earthquake and a simple way to get early warning of a leak. Honestly, I wasn’t even going to post a review as it’s not generally my style and I have a lot of patience with these kinds of services in general though my recent horrible interaction with the owner is too much to let slide.Firstly, our proposed two week sewer lateral repair project turned into five weeks which meant not being able to use the entrances to our townhome complex. This repair included ripping up landscaping and our cement patios in order to complete the work. Once the sewer laterals were repaired it took an even longer time to get the patios restored correctly. A five week disruption is quite a bit when we have several people working from home and not being able to receive packages especially when they delays were communicated to us so late or not even told to us until we reach out for updates.Lastly, after our work and all the residual repairs were complete, I then received easily the most unprofessional and threatening accusations from them regarding our payment. We are a homeowners association and processed the payment within days of receiving the check from our HOA management company. Not only was I told that we somehow had a “vendetta” against them and that we were “unethical,” the owner also threatened to involve her attorney if I didn’t respond today. I mentioned to her several times that we just received the check and received the proper signatures in the same week and that we were sending it out today though she continued with the aggressive messaging. The several messages of “MAIL THE CHECK OUT” (yes in all caps) and additional threatening messages are completely unacceptable of any professional business.In the end, the work was complete though I would highly recommend you steer clear of this company for your work.

We had a major leak in the piping from the water meter to the house. After we had the leak located via a leak detection service, I was able to get someone from Plumbing Care Inc out for a quote and then the work within a few days. Never heard on gas line quoteWe called them to give us a gas pipeline quote, look at a sink faucet leakage underneath, and suggest on a rusting of tap in master bath. The guy supposedly resealed faucet leak, but didn’t set up faucet properly. They charged $200.00. We called again, another guy came in and said your faucet doesn’t have proper seal and we can guarantee leak is not going to happen again. He suggested replacing with new faucet and charge another $150 for same (total 350, including prev 200 paid). We decided against and asked for a repair next day and the old guy came and fixed it, said the other guy didn’t know what he was talking about. So not very impressed with quality of plumber and we are in doubt now, what’s the real issue and they are certainly expensive.

I have used these guys several times. They are my go to every time I have a plumbing issue. I had a leaking pipe outside that they fixed a couple of months ago. The severe storms knocked the pipe loose and it began leaking again. I called them and they came and fixed same day, for FREE! They definitely stand behind their 1 year quality guarantee. My water heater pilot light would not restart. Contacted them at 7 am on a holiday weekend. A live person answered, took my details and promised a call back. Call return within 1 hour, and a service truck was at my home within 40 minutes. They identified the problem and discussed repair options. Decided to replace entire water heater as current one was near end of useful life. New unit brought from their place of business and installed within 3 hours. This was our first time contacting Plumbing Care Inc but it certainly wont be our last for any plumbing related issues. We contacted them because we needed an emergency repair (a major leak from our main water pipe) and not only were they available to service us the next morning (which was the weekend), our technician, Alvictor, was very punctual, professional and experienced. He located the cause of the leak right away and went about repairing the leak; although he needed to go to two different stores to get the right parts, he was super efficient and very thorough. I called Plumbing Care on a Saturday at 4pm about a broken earthquake valve, and the technician was here same day by 5pm. He was so helpful and genuinely tried to solve the problem as quickly as he could, except the part wasn’t available unfortunately. As soon as he could get it Monday morning, though, he got it and came back to our house and was done installing it 40 minutes later. I was beyond impressed with this company and their service and will only recommend and use them moving forward.

I love the Plumbing care work. They were on time, precise with what the work needs to be done and perform quality time. I have used their services multiple times. But, they refused to work with me in Nov 2022 citing my comment your quote is a bit expensive for one of the services I needed in June 2020. But they thought i am blaming them for it.So essentially, you cannot have honest conversation with them. In Nov 2022 they told me that they wont serve me citing these reasons which were old. Keith arrived and he was extremely knowledgable, caring and listening to my concerns. Our issue is that the toilet is very old and not functioning up to par but we are renting a space, he gave us 2 different types of quotes for me to present to property manager. Ive used plumbing care twice in the past. Their service is great!The first time I used them was to install a hybrid water heater. Took about a day to do, totally painless, and for a price I was really happy with. Even the city inspector commented on how good of a job they did.The second time was to replace an exterior valve that had started to leak. After they replaced the valve I had some follow on issues with air pockets, which as it turns out was not their fault at all. Had an amazing experience with Plumbing Care. We had a leak in a pipe under our house, I called at 8:00 in the evening and they came first thing the next morning. They were quick to respond, on time, and the plumber, Alvictor, was committed to getting the job done. When Alvictor fixed the pipe, he determined there was a blockage in our line, worked hard for hours to clear the blockage, and when he couldnt, advised me about how to get in touch with the city to deal with a blockage in the main city sewer line. I watched videos and tried all the things suggested and still couldn’t figure it out so I figured the disposal may need to be replaced. I generally dont enjoy posting negative reviews here on GOOGLE or on YELP however I felt compelled to convey our experiences with Plumbing Care. Back in March of this year we had contacted them to repair a clogged kitchen drain which they did however several months later we had the exact same problem.The following day all of a sudden the refrigerator ice maker didnt function. When I brought this to their attention - to their credit the service technician came by to check it out. He indicated however that he was certain that it didnt have anything to do with the work performed? I didnt pursue this although I was pretty skeptical as there had been absolutely nothing wrong with the ice maker previously.Several weeks later their second attempted repair also failed and they charged us AGAIN. They dont warranty their work and we chose NOT to contact Plumbing Care again for obvious reasons.Instead we called another plumber who immediately assessed the actual problem. He replaced a section of PVC pipe which was entirely clogged and since then weve had no back up and no problems. Its unclear why Plumbing Care couldnt figure this out to begin with.I do see some positive reviews however I have to say that our personal experience with this company was extremely disappointing.

When my tank-style hot water heater started making noises, I called one of the other 5 star rated plumbing services listed on Yelp. The technician came out promptly, took a quick look at my hot water heater, and told me that it could not be repaired. He had a replacement hot water heater in his truck that he could install right then for $2,500. I held off because I was interested in installing a tankless hot water heater, and that required some electrical wiring. I told him I would get the wiring installed and call him back. I called my regular electrician and explained the situation. He said, Call Martin at Plumbing Care. The technician Martin sent out spent some time diagnosing the problem and told me that it could be fixed. The problem was in the gas valve and burner. It would cost $750, and he couldnt guarantee how long the tank itself might last. It might fail a week after he fixed the gas. But repair was an option, which would buy me time to install the wiring and be ready for a tankless when this unit failed. Also, the first technician had told me that my hot water heater closet was too small for a heat pump hot water heater. But Plumbing Care told me about the Sanco2, which uses a detached heat pump that can be installed outside the closet. So that is an option I will probably pursue. I believe that the first guy just wanted to sell me an overpriced tank-style hot water heater. Plumbing Care was patient and thorough in explaining all the options, and they gave me good prices. Besides offering great service, the Plumbing Care technician was incredibly friendly. Ill never call a different plumber.

At about noon on a Monday, we realized that we did not have hot water. A quick google search for Water Heater Repair companies returned Plumbing Care as the first result. Called and was surprised at the details that we were asked - eg. serial number of the unit. It turns out that Plumbing Care is manufacturer-certified. They knew right away what the problem was. The Honeywell gas valve controller on our RUUD water heater had failed. They gave us a 3 pm to 5 pm window for the same day, even though they were busy and were short-staffed. The technician (also a Field Manager since inception) was Martin (nicknamed Mike). He called us and let us know that the unit was under warranty and that he had the replacement in stock. He kept us informed via text that he was running late. He arrived the same day, after the window, and replaced the failed Honeywell controller. In addition, Martin (Mike) was a really nice guy.We were so happy with the service, that we asked Martin (Mike) to put the sticker with the company information on our water heater.We are pleased to give this company and this technician a 5-star review.

On April 5, 2018, I called Plumbing Care Inc. regarding a leaky pipe attached to my water heater. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and professional. I called late in the afternoon and I was delighted when she told me she could have someone respond to my residence within an hour. I had a warranty on it so, I found Plumbing Care on Rheem list to Exchange my water heater. My wonderful technicianAnatolity came to the house and started to drain the water heater and said that there was no leaks or floor damage around it. Anatoliy was my plumbing technician and he did a great job diagnosing and explaining the current problems and replacing the old leaky angle stops to the main kitchen sink. He also did a great job in installing the Hansgrohe Cento kitchen faucet that I purchased from Costco and the replacement sink air gap that I purchased from Lowes. He also went above and beyond to shorten the flexible kitchen sink drainage pipe at no extra cost (not really asked for in the original service request), which was too long in the original installation and could cause odors. I contacted Plumber Care to have someone come out for an assessment as to why the sink in my garage suddenly no longer runs water unless the sprinklers are on (This never used to be the case in the 5 years weve owned our home).To my surprise and appreciation, they were able to come out the same day to check out my problem - even coming after 5pm! While the plumber was unable to diagnose the reason why it was occurring, he offered a way to bypass the cause of the issue by connecting the garage sink directly to the pipes coming out of the water heater.Im disappointed that the plumber was stumped regarding what was causing the issue with my sink and I havent decided whether to take them up on this solution as Im concerned that whatever issue that keeps that sink from working properly will ultimately be a problem for another part of my plumbing in the future. I will look into a second opinion before I commit to that fix.

Plumbing Care installed a Sanco heat pump water heater last July and we are extremely happy with the high quality installation and energy savings. We were paying about $100/month for gas and now paying about $25/month for electricity. The heat pump allows us to select the times to operate so we select the off peak rates.

Andre was on time, super-nice and played with my energetic puppy. I called on Monday; he came the following morning. To be honest, it was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Used the same company last year to install new toilets - different guy, but same great service.

No shutoff anywhere other than the street, so we were out of water!We had another plumbing group look at it and he could not figure out what to do either (which was puzzling) and thought it might take a lot of digging to find a connection to unthread the pipe from and passed on the job.Step in, Plumbing Care, and Kyle. First, let me tell you that they send you a picture of the plumber coming to visit you and that has to make a lot of people (Seniors, Wives, Single women, etc.) feel very good, especially if they are coming into your home.Kyle came back and looked at it and said he was unsure of how it would work given that the leak had occurred in the galvanized pipe, no idea of where the next connection was, or if found if it would come loose from the fitting. These were very old pipes.But he got his spade and he began to dig. He wasnt seeing anything at first, but he kept going and finally found a connector about a foot from where I had previously dug. Kyle let me know that he had worked in Palo Alto before and was therefore used to the galvanized pipe. About 30 minutes later, we had running water to our home.As personable as you could ever want, knowledgeable, courteous -- and efficient.I am keeping this number in my book for future reference. We have found a good one in Plumbing Care and Kyle. Thank you!

Super pleased with Plumbing Care. I called at 730 with a plumbing leak and they were here within 30 minutes. The technician Dimitri was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Only downside was the cost. Definitely pricey but in my mind worth it for the peace of mind.

The company was prompt in its response to my work request, and sent a prompt, polite, and professional plumber to our house. He installed our sink, dishwasher, and stove (gas line) and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Fails to honor competitive bidding as advertised. Misrepresented business model. Beware. Technicians were amazing.Actually, you failed to remember several conversations prior to the job starting regarding competitive bid. You purposely failed to provide email information to share the bid. Remember???Its unfortunate you are treading with misrepresentation and fraudulent practice. I would not recommend this company based on this merit alone.

The technician Hristo Ivanov was very professional and responsive. After checking my water heaters licking problem, he quickly identified the problem is within the heat exchanger. And then he listed two options for fixing it and let me decide one from them.After I decided to go with changing the heat exchanger, he quickly contacted the company to have the part ready within a day and managed to install the new heat exchanger for me the same day after shuffling his schedule. He got the job done within 2 hours and viola I have hot water again. I truly appreciate his professionalism and care.

Alvictor and Todd went above and beyond to ensure my water heater was repaired as soon as possible. My water heater had a part that was under recall and the company was sending a replacement part to be used. The delivery arrived late but Alvictor was able to use a part in his inventory and allowed me to replenish it when I got the part from the AO Smith. If it hadn’t been for his extra efforts my house would have been without hot water for at least another three days. Truly appreciate his thoughtfulness. The definition of going the extra mile.

Great service. Called yesterday afternoon (Thursday) and they came out in a few hours. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable; gave us a quote that was reasonable for a new water heater. Ours was 20 yrs. old and leaking. Said they could come out this am (Friday) to install and that’s exactly what they did. Plumbing Care installed a water softener in my house in July 2021. The price was competitive and the installation was professional and very satisfactory. Recently I found a pinhole water leak on a copper pipe which is connected to the water softener. I called them for a repair and they sent a plumber on the same day and repaired the leaked section of the pipe with new copper pipe as a warranty repair. I strongly recommend Plumbing Care Inc. for anyone who needs plumbing service.

Plumbing Care inc. (Plamen), took care of our issue fast. They came within two hours of our initial call. We needed the main water line from the city replaced. They were able to get our water back on and working in about 20 minutes, came back and did the entire job (replace) two days later. They did a great job and have a 5 year warranty. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing issues.

My water heater started to leak on a Saturday, and based on great reviews both from Google and Yelp, Ive decided to give them a try, and Im grateful that I did. Both their customer service and technician (Tyer Lewis) were professional, warming, caring, friendly and delivered the job! And I couldnt say Thank you enough to their great team and the company! Long short, Tyer Lewis was able to replaced my water heater on the same day, and it has been running for more than 2 months now without any leak or issue. I highly recommend this Company if you ever need to replace a water heater.

Professionally done work. Did a great job unclogging a toilet. However, beware that the person on the phone will not tell you about their minimum $250 price tag. They will dispatch a person to give you a quote and THEN spring the minimum pricing on you, even if you ask them multiple times on the phone if they have minimum prices. For this reason I dislike doing business with them and will NOT use them again. In my opinion if asked about minimum pricing they should be open, transparent and honest. Anything less paints them as shady and disreputable. I do not recommend doing business with them.Edited details: Their reply below shows they have no desire to fix their practice of hiding the min price until they come out. Be warned, their company policy is to never give a price below $250, no matter how small the job. If that seems high, save yourself the time and money and call someone else. Lowering my review to 1 star due the owners poor response.
