Love my school, for those that are not use to a school that goes straight to the point and fast pace it may not be the school for you. HCT is priced everywhere the same the difference is their hands on program and smaller classes that make this school appropriate for self motivated students.

I visited because I was interested in their LVN program. I just came to ask a few questions, but I was ushered from room to room and immediately pressured to enroll (and they even interviewed me? For a For-Profit school?) This company (I’m not even sure if it counts as a school because nothing about it seems academic) feels EXTREMELY predatory. I asked for them to evaluate my transcripts to see if credits transferred, see how much financial aid would cover, etc. I was given none of this information until I signed an entire stack of enrollment papers. They didn’t even give me a clear answer on what their class schedule was and classes start in 2 weeks. My gut was telling me something was off, because every person I talked to felt like a car salesmen. After some extensive googling (there are hardly enough reviews of this place) I discovered tons of people who complained about how they run their school and how expensive it is for little return. ALSO. They are nationally accredited, NOT regionally accredited. Regional accreditation counts for ALOT more then national. So getting an Associates or Bachelor’s from them means Jack Sh!t.

I highly do not recommend this school for respiratory therapy. I attended the school about 2 years ago. I didnt retain anything. Everything had to be learned on my own. General classes, the teachers were bad. They just passed us to pass us. I suggest going to a community College. It will be cheaper and a bit longer but you will definitely get your moneys worth!

I’ve been expanding my education for many years and this is by far the worst facility I’ve ever attended. I put a lot of the blame on enrollment and it seems that they are very deceptive. If you do take the plunge, read all the fine print and don’t trust what the enrollment employees have to say.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This school is completely unprofessional in every way shape and form! All the people workig there seem like they would rather be some where else. And a lot of people quit without any warning and leave you to figure out everything on your own. I do not feel that I will be able to get a job after having gone to this school! I feel I should have learned a lot more and been held accountable for knowing all the information. I went here for the DMS program and I should have known it would be like that after just the admissions process. I lost count of how many times I called and emailed to try to get information about enrolling. Even my mom tried because I thought maybe they just werent taking me seriously because I was young. Then when I was finally in, it turns out they had enrolled to many students so I had to wait another 2 months to start. The only reason I even decided to continue was because it was accredited (which its not anymore!). Through out my time there I delt with unprofessional clinical coordinators and program directors. It took them 2 months to find me a clinical site when I was told that they would provide everyone with sites! Due to that I shouldnt have graduated on time but I worked my butt off to make up all the missing hours and managed to finish by my original graduation date. Now it has been almost 2 weeks and I still have not received my transcripts, letter of completion, or diploma, all of which you need to take your state tests. We were supposed to be able to take our state tests as soon as we graduated and I am still not able to apply.

Dont come here at ALL! I did my BA in healthcare leadership management and yet still havent found a job in that tittle. Im upset do to the fact they really dont help you look for a job. I have so many friends that came here and did there MA program and still havent found a job for almost 2yrs now. When you want to transfer to a different school they dont accept any of Platt College credits at all because is not accredited. Waist of my money and time. Now I have to start over again and its not easy. I did my phlebotomy also with them and yet havent received any response when I will get my certificate. Please listen to this reviews, go to a regular college and no this one. I might even get a lawyer to try and get my money back. They promise you things that wont happened. Dont come here.

Great School! I was working for a major print firm before I finished my Bachelors Degree. I have since managed my own film processing and graphic design office for a glass company. After those experiences, I have been working in the Entertainment Industry in the greater Los Angeles area.I have read some of the other post and current student ratings. I have to say that most of you are uninformed. The school is accredited with the U.S. Government, and very much worth the effort you happen to put into it. All you have to do is work on your portfolio. Many students out of high school should not have been accepted due to their lack of drawing skills and overall effort to become a successful graphics artist. Employers take you very seriously. Its the employee and or manager who is very much afraid of loosing their job to you because of your multi-media skills.I personally went to community college and worked as a picture framer for an art and crafts store prior to applying to Platt College. Most of my classmates from the associates program unfortunately are not working in their field of study. However! Most of my classmates from the 3D Bachelors program have or are currently working in the Entertainment Industry. Anywhere from film, video gaming, cartooning and in theme parks. Such as in print, animation, and or art and design. The others are managing print department for several companies.Recommended for high school grads? No!People who have worked and experienced life as a whole? Yes!Whether your choice for any school, including four year schools. Work on your concept art and story boarding prior to attending this school as you would have to do with other major design colleges. Also. Learn you key commands. That is how you land your job and impress the lead artist. Its up to you!-Graduate in 2007 B.A. in 3D Visual Communictions

I absolutely think this is the worst school there is. Do not spend your time or money for Alhambra Platt College. They will not help you in any way nor will they give you an education. Especially the director of The nursing program. She’ll make your like miserable. Keep searching. You’ll find a school way better than this. They just want your time and money, not to assist you

I would NOT give this place a single star it is the worst experience ever, when I first started it seemed ok because the teacher I had seemed legit. After that everything went down hill some teachers didnt teach anything they simply gave you a good grade for even showing up or being friendly with them, the teachers who wanted to be assholes, Steven something I forgot his last name only gave a few people passing grades and only because they were nice to him. Anyhow I am a veteran so none of the money came out of my pocket, wait never mind i did have to pay for my guard card that comes with the program that I was taking. This school was a complete waist of my time I should have waited for Pasadena City College to start their next semester, now I am still there and these teachers are still there not teaching anyone anything and getting away with charging so much money and worst part of it is at least have my military benefits went to this school. I am going to look for a lawyer to see if I can file a lawsuit against them to get all my money back. If you attend this place or plan on attending ...DO NOT!

Stop, No, Dont...This school is the biggest waste of time! Go to a JC, UC, ETC; but do not throw away your money with this abominable trap. Their recruitment can almost be described as predatory. They reel students in, drain their FASFA, and spit them out. Its extremely difficult for me to not employ more candor while expressing my disdain for this vexatious experience. The ONLY reason this review isnt in all caps and filled to the brim with profanity is because I want no misinterpretations, nor filtering, of my disdain for them. Youll be forced to take the most remedial pre-reqs ever (2nd grade math, English for Spanish speakers, Lima-bean & dye the celery stock Science); while paying almost top dollar. The Art programs teachers looked like hostages or parolees. There is NO real job assistance, as implied by your lovely vampiric admissions department. If you require any additional information from them, after culmination, they will treat you like an angry ex that has your car keys. Most importantly... Their Accreditation means as much as a bag of packaging peanuts. Real colleges will not let you transfer these faux degrees/credits. If you attend this college you should have an immense amount of disposable income and time to waste.
