Dont bother. Ive called multiple times on various days trying to make an appointment for the past week. Ive left voicemail with all my info, filled out their form for appointments and have heard nothing from them. Ignore the good reviews here. Their current 2.2 star Yelp rating seems more accurate. If I could, Id give them 0 stars.

I second the comments of others who are unable to get a hold of anyone to even schedule an appointment. I called on 4/12 once my referral was approved by insurance and the recording said to use the online appointment feature, which I promptly did. A message came up after I submitted the form and said theyd be in touch with me within 48 hours (of 4/12). Today is 4/22 and I still havent heard back. I also called again after about 4 days of waiting and left a voicemail in case maybe the online feature was not working. I left all my info and call back number and still nothing. I will be filing a grievance with insurance regarding this. So if you also have trouble making an appointment, probably just dont waste your time and ask your insurance for a different place if a few days go by and no one contacts you.

Today I went in to see Dr Pyrko and I was shocked on how well I was treated by his entire staff he is a very caring and professional Dr he listened to my concerns and gave me the treatment that I needed I want to thank him and his entire staff for all they done for me I guess we’ll be friends for awhile. I will like to also thank Dr Bradley Najac who has been monitoring my knee and doing a great job he is a special person and a great Dr .JuanP

My two appointments at this location for double calcaneus fractures, have been extremely great. Dr Lee knows what she is doing and is willing to help you if you are willing to help yourself. The two nurses who did my cast made my cast as comfortable as possible. Thanks Linda and Zoey.

PA Bradley is why I trust Platinum Orthopedics. He is a very nice guy and good at what he does. I have had several knee injections from him. They are always painless and quick. His bedside manner is wonderful. He always has kind words of encouragement and genuinely cares about his patients.

Im giving 1 star because the person who is supposed to do the scheduling, literally never calls you back. Thats an issue. Was supposed to call January 8th to schedule and we had to call. Was told shed call back. Never did. Called again January 11th and was told shed call back with more information. Well today is the 16th and he called again to get more information and was told again shed call him back. And yet no call back? I called to complain because thats very unprofessional, we both work and this surgey is a big deal and we need information sooner than later. Learn to respect patients time, we have to take time out of our work day to call, the least you can do is call back. It is your job!

Called in to request a fax for my MRI and the usual extension was busy/away so i called into the medical records extension instead. The lady seemed bothered and annoyed that I called the wrong line and made it known to me at the end of the call. Im not sure why she couldnt have just remained professional and transferred me to the correct line. This was a bit disappointing because I think Dr. Blanks is a great care provider.

I have only been to this office twice now and both times I have to say I was impressed with how polite the front office staff is. Once I was called to the back (time waiting was not long at all) I was taken to X-rays right away. Again the staff was polite and friendly. After my X-ray I I was back in the exam room. My first office visit I waited to see the doctor a little longer than I waited to see the physician assistant on my second office visit. Overall I have no complaints about anything.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. blanks for over two years. He performed three surgeries on me. He completely botched one, and I complained to him for an entire year, saying that I needed another MRI and another surgery on my left pectoral. Dr. blanks ignored me until almost a year later from my initial surgery. When I continued to complain after he told me to just keep lifting, and do push-ups on it, the MRI revealed that the left Pec major wasn’t even attached. blanks asked me if I wanted surgery like he didn’t want to give me another surgery like it was too hard for him. We scheduled the surgery and we did it and my pectoral still doesn’t feel right. my physical therapist said that Dr. blanks did not attach it in the right place and could have stretched across my chest more. I’ve asked blanks for another MRI and he just automatically assumed that I knew which MRI office he sent my referral to. Causing more delays in me trying to get rehabilitated. Not to mention I have lost my place to stay in my job due to this injury, and Dr. blanks has not helped me recover fast. He keeps messing up which causes me more downtime, and more time of me being disabled, without use of my arm. I often go to Dr. blanks’s office and he seems out of it lackadaisical maybe like he’s high or like he has not slept. His office,also has no idea and they’re very unorganized. They told me to call downey to get an mri but i’m homeless in huntington beach. They simply do not care about you. after calling around for over an hour this morning. I was able to finally make an appointment for an MRI which Dr. blanks never told me to do. He never even told me who to call. I have an appointment with him today. I’ve been complaining about his services for the entire time I’ve been there and I really would like a new surgeon who can do an effective surgery and listen to me and get me an MRI like I ask but instead I feel like I’m being practiced on. I’m being strung along by a surgeon who I feel graduated last in his class. Which is why he doesn’t do the surgeries correctly and he doesn’t listen to me, when i tell him something is wrong he just dismisses me.His office is impossible to call they only text me. I hate this surgeon and I hate this practice, I tried calling to complain to cal-optima and to get a new surgeon but all I get is the run around.

One of the best things i like about this office, is that when we checked in, it doesnt take too long to called us in to see the doctor. Also in the rooms they dont leaves us there waiting. Once in the room, my doctor come in within 5 min.My doctor, Sean Richland is so respectful and cordial. He also explains everything thoroughly, i leave there very satisfied with their service.

Dr. Rosenberg is my Spine surgeon, who listens to what I say, explains things and is very thorough. I have had 4 back surgeries to date and 1 in the not so far off future ahead. I am grateful to have such a talented surgeon and value one that takes the time to listen and educate me along the way. I recommend him highly. And he does not jump into surgery lightly. If you are looking for a life with less pain and a surgeon whom you can trust I would definitely say to seek out his opinion and see where it takes you. Hes easy to talk to, explains things thoroughly, hes very gifted and has a passion for healing and helping his patients. 5 ⭐s I also had 2 surgeries with Dr. Khan. They were carpal tunnel release surgeries. Both R & L. He did an amazing job. You cant even see my scars, and I dont seem to have any problems with either of them 3 years and going strong. The 5 star reviews are 100% fake. Platinums parent company, Orthowest, is also over South County Orthopedic Specialists in Laguna. Both have close to 700 reviews, mostly 5 star reviews that were left over short periods of time. Thats a big red flag and Drs dont typically have hundreds of reviews. I still went for a consultation. I was shocked at how run down, dirty and bad the office is. Tiny, windowless, horrid brown paint, the wall had a broken TV with cords hanging, 3 8×10 frames hung uneven, crooked and off center. 3 fake Orchid plants coated with dust. I was brought back and walked past open, messy storage to a sparse room with nothing on walls, a cheap table and one chair. I expect a surgeon to be observant, have attention to detail and be a perfectionist. I cant fathom a good surgeon working at that office. I also cant find any info on Dr Blake prior to 2019. He was licensed for years prior in CA. No CV, no linkedin, nothing on their website or public records. I asked how many times hes done the surgery he was recommending and he said I only do shoulder/knee arthroscopic surgery now, I dont do joint replacement anymore?! That didnt answer my question and raises a whole host of other questions. In summary, this place is really subpar and vibe is the Dr doesnt really care to make a good impression or care about the job. I dont know but I am not comfortable having surgery here. Insurance tries to push ypu to their preferred Drs that generally means cheap Drs. File an appeal with insurance to see a good Dr.

This was my first (and only necessary) appointment with Dr. Blanks after frustratingly seeking out 4 different options elsewhere over the course of 3 months and always leaving without any answers. Dr. Blanks and his staff were absolutely amazing! He was swift in his findings with my problematic and extremely painful shoulder and very informative as well. Not happy with this Dr Peter P. He didnt do the correct procedures to check my stitches. He had me stand and you couldnt see it correctly. He said it fine. But I told that there some liquid came from it and he said that normal. But he left room and he didnt remove my personal information off the computer. I step out to find a nurse for her to close my file. I got home and re-did my bandage and I saw that I had a hole with blood next to stitch but he pull it and put it back. I told him I need a clean bandage he said it ok. I was very upset with this doctor. He didnt have home care or therapy for me. I told I didnt even know how to get in bed or put shoe or clothes my self. Couldnt bend 90 degrees so it was difficult in every for me. I feel that he always rush thing instead he doesnt have any concern of his patient well being. I told provider I dont want to go to there office again. Sent me to other specialists regard any problem regard my bone. But I like the doctor from the Anaheim office.

Dr G is a wonderful physician. He is confident yet with a humble spirit. Not an easy thing to find in a position. Explains to you in terms that are understandable to the layman. The PA Bradley was respectful and he was very careful not to cause extreme pain when injecting on my ankles. However, I dont have the same opinion about their answering service. First call, I was placed on hold for 1hr and then being, First in line, for 15 minutes more they dropped my call.Second call, immediately after the first was dropped, I was caller 8th in line. 45 minutes later, my called was answered. I lost my appointment. ☹

I went to this office for the first time yesterday 8/31/21. The office staff are all friendly and efficient. Dr Pyrko is very knowledgeable, and pleasant. He explained in detail why my knee was hurting so much, and gave me instructions on how to help myself get better. He is honest and genuine. The doctor really took his time with me as a new patient. Went over all my history even stuff that didnt pertain to what I came in for, which I appreciate because most doctors dont ever go over all your health history. Even though the issue couldnt be fully treated he still offered some treatment to help what could be helpful. So I really appreciate this doctor for going above and beyond for helping me and not just shoving me out the door. Also one of the girls in the insurance department (dont remember her name) she was very communicative which I appreciate as well. She always kept me in the loop with everything going on insurance related.

Dr Raczka is go gentle & kind. He’s very patient with me & I get the feeling he’s never rushed. His assistant is also so kind & caring. He’s always been so get to help me get pain relief from my hips & he always does. I’ve been seeing him now for years, minus 2020, due to close down.Once you get past the receptionist, they are always very busy, I literally stood at the front desk for almost 10 minutes before they acknowledged me. Seems like they are all in training & a bit snippy to. With today’s society, I keep my mouth shut & eyes open to observe. I’m a Case Manager. I brought one of our consumers to their 1st appointment with Dr. Blanks for an evaluation/exam.He answered all of our question’s. The doctor was extremely professional and friendly. He already had my ER records soon I didnt have to wait while his nurse got them. He was also on time for my appointment. I.needed a steroid shot in my finger joint. I have hD them before and they hurt so much I cried. This time it did hurt very much, He gave me a local first. I had the pleasure of being treated by the physician’s assistant. I have Multiple Sclerosis and coincidentally a broken toe. I was given an exam for my feet which resulted in X-Rays in the office. The instructions given for care and follow up were very easy to follow. It was accompanied with a referral to an equipment specialist. Every effort was taken to assist me.

I was quite impressed with Platinum Orthopedics and so pleased that my insurance is contracted with their group. Alyxis Mah was very informative with my current medical condition, spoke to me in layman’s terms, and submitted referrals so that I can get the proper treatment. I have to include the medical staff, as well, because they were knowledgeable and very friendly. As a matter of fact, an irate patient was causing an unwarranted scene, and the office girls remained very calm. Everyone in the waiting room, including my friend and I, were rolling eyes and shaking heads at her childish behavior. Keep up the hard work!

Absolutely deplorable. I have nothing nice to say about this place and am shocked by the number of decent reviews. By this point, I can only assume my mothers treatment was/is personal because she has received completely horrendous service here. She has been SUFFERING for at least a year now while under the care of not one but 2 dr’s at this practice. The first strung her along for months promising a surgery that has still yet to be scheduled. Now completely unable to move and work she switched to another dr within the practice who has yet again, completely dropped the ball. Promising a surgery THAT HAS STILL NOT BEEN SCHEDULED. Completing routine paperwork should NOT be overwhelming for the individuals in charge of such important steps in treatment. There is so much more to this story but the point is that my mom is still in severe pain as a direct result of the negligence of this practice. Stay very very far away.

Another post to praise Dr. Richard Blanks staff/scheduling staff. This time for Luz and Edgar. They both worked efficiently to get me my updated doctors note in May and recently Edgar quickly responded to a correction that was needed in the note. Thank you Dr. Blanks and staff ! I wish ALL doctors and offices treated their patients in this manner, making us feel important and responding in a quick manner! Love this office! Dr. Pyrko performed a very successful hip replacement for me last year, so when my knee started acting up regularly, I never hesitated in calling his office for a consultation.The front office is always efficient and pleasant, the nursing staff is great. I am greatly impressed by Platinum Orthopeadics’ nice physician’s office in a professional medical building adjacent to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. And more than that, I was warmly received and treated by the wonderful staff at that office. Topping off the visit was meeting Dr. Grieshober whose stellar reputation precedes him. He took the time to read my Anamnesis (medical history compendium) and the notes I provided describing the details of the incident that led up to my knee injury and the symptoms I suffered afterwards. Plantium’s expert X-ray technician took several shots of my injured knee and the results were completed in less than 4 minutes. Dr. Grieshober kindly took the time to explain various aspects of the X-ray images on a large viewer. I was happy to learn that there were no signs of senior-age osteoarthritis, which is quite common at my advanced age.Unfortunately, after familiarizing himself with all of my symptoms Dr. Grieshober suspects I might have possibly suffered a medial meniscus tear which the MRI he ordered will confirm or rule out. I was happy that she knew all the equipment I needed and what kind of rehabilitation I needed to heal. My girlfriend broke her ankle, and was sent here by our insurance. They did surgery, which went well, and was speedy. Thats great.However.They didnt inform us of a follow up appointment time or date. We waited and waited and eventually my girlfriend called a month after surgery, for them to tell her that shed missed an appointment two weeks ago? They never gave us any information on said appointment, wasnt on her discharge paperwork, they never called as a reminder before this supposed appointment, didnt call to say Hey there, are you coming? or a Hey there, you missed your appointment, lets reschedule... for a SURGERY follow up.It took so long to get back in and seen that the stitches still in her leg had been partially grown over by skin by the time they finally took them out. They then had to special order her a walking boot, which we still dont have a week later, with no contact from them still. Shes been doing PT on her ankle by herself, and gradually adding weight, standing, starting to walk with no pain, etc. because shes on medical leave from work, and at the rate theyre going she wont be cleared to go back until shes been let go from the company due to being gone too long.Not to mention that their fax number has been wrong both times weve been given it (two different numbers), or at the very least theyre pretending to have not gotten the faxs, even though theyve said delivered on my end. We were also given an email address to try and send the papers into, with an incorrect domain attached, making it so it couldnt be delivered. This is a simple form she needs filled out to continue her work leave, and theyre making it impossible to get sent in. Well be marching into the office tomorrow to demand it be filled out in person, but this is just absolutely unacceptable. An absolute nightmare of an office.

Only saw me as just another patient complaining of foot pain. He did not allow me to explain where the pain was centered & how long I’ve been experiencing the pain. Was just going to deal with the pain on my own. But because the pain was to the point where it was affecting my job & way of life, I decided to give it another try. I had a Total Knee Replacement Surgery done on 1/10/22 by Dr Peter Pyrko of Platinum Orthopedics. My surgery was at Fountain Valley Hospital. I just had my 1mo-Post Op Visit w/Dr Pyrko on 2/10/22. It was the 1st day I literally went outside & left my house, was to see the Dr who did my surgery. I went to my appt & Dr Pyrko immediately had 3xrays done & then examined me & told me how well everything came out! He showed us the xrays & explained how good the hardware looked in place & just looking @ xrays, we could see how well my new knee was doing on the inside & it made me feel so Great & Happy! Dr Pyrko said to me, it looks like you been recovered for 3months, not 1mo! He was surprised to see me walking without a walker or a cane, just walking on my own. He had me do some stretches & exercises & was amazed that I was able to do them without any pain or struggle. He was very pleased & very proud of me, which made me feel so good about myself! It was just exactly 1month ago on 1/10, that after I came home from hospital I was-what I thought would never end, suffering so bad with such excruciating pain & not being able to sleep nights & not wanting anyone outside my family to even come over to visit me! I felt like I didnt know myself anymore in the very 1st (3)-wks of recovering. It wasnt until the 4th final wk that I started feeling better, both physically & mentally Thank God! And after going outside for the very 1st time since my 1/10 surgery, I was able to go & sit in a car with my son to take me to my 1mo post-op visit w/Dr Pyrko. I really was feeling better & looking forward to my appt. And it paid off! My appt w/Dr Pyrko went really well! I walked in without having to use a walker or a cane, just walked in with my 2 feet & my Brand New KNEE! It felt so Great & Liberating! For the 1st time in 1mo, & with the help of my husband & son, I felt like I got myself back! Like I could recognize my old self again, but with a new knee! I was sent by insurance to Dr Pyrko to do a procedure from a surgery I just had. Which was with a out of network trama ortho surgeon. Dr. Pyrko was so nice and we were so happy that he was so honest with us. Went in for a torn ACL and Meniscus after waiting 2+ months for an appointment after the injury/ MRI results. Obviously didn’t look at my chart or past history before appointment, seemed to care less about my unique case and the extra complications that would entail for treatment suggestions. The whole visit maybe took 20min. Basically gave me no real answers, and wasted my time and energy. Patients who are already sick with added injuries shouldn’t need to be fighting that hard to get attention and guidance from someone whose job it is to help you. Ive worked with many physicians in my medical career who often had much easier of a job but had zero compassion or empathy. You can listen how he takes time for others even when they have been seen but need extra time he goes back and goes over information which has already been explained. That takes a special person everyone gets his full attention when he is with them.

First they go back and forth with the pharmac yon my meds unable to get their act together and give the correct Information before the Dr stepped in and took care of it herself, then this week for my follow up I get a call that my appt has to be rescheduled because there is a glitch with my insurance. My insurance says there was no glitch and offers to call them and the receptionist says that isnt allowed. Now I have to wait till Christmas eve to be released and go back to work. because that is the only appt open for the next month. They said they will email me an extension on my dr note for work. So my own experience with Platinum is they have really good doctors especially the neck surgeon Dr Alexander Richard they say hes not there anymore but if he was I would be going to him to finish my my surgeries the hand doctors we get gave us specialist for each part of the body that deals with that particular part of the surgery and thats what makes them so good but Dr Alexander I wish he was still there he didnt look at me as a paycheck he looked at me as a patient they all look at your patients except for one but Ive had my neck surgery there at 2:00 the second one was the best the first one that didnt really go too well but the second one was the best and I was afraid to do it but the doctor did extra test to make sure we were doing the right thing and make sure he knew what he was going to do before we did it he said he was going to try to get my mobility back I didnt promise to take away the pain that I had for 20 something years so and theyre not rooted to recession is death or talking with me sometimes youre on hold for a while cuz theres so many people calling back theyre very good at what they dosevere that sometimes I couldnt even get out of bed without taking a couple of different pain pills at a time today I dont have to take as many I can walk I can walk if I had to wait to get him an award I would because he didnt look at me as a paycheck he looked at me and someone that was suffering that needed help and I hit smoke so many years and hes wanting me to quit smoking for the pictures and I dont know how he did when he got me to quit cold turkey just quit Platinum has many doctors that specialize in different parts of the body bones

Dr. Jason Grieshober is cool down to earth and very personable he has performed my knee surgery last year, and now assessing whether I need elbow and arm surgery, the staff are very friendly not to mention the most beautiful Women I’ve seen in the medical field. There is one in particular that wears her scrubs so tight her amazing body makes you forget that you are even injured. All I can hear is music and angels singing when she walks in the room. Our bad experience has been thru the referral process not the doctors. Dr Rosenberg authorized an MRI with anesthesia, however nurse practitioner Adena Cho put referral in..There seemed to be the first issue. Apparently nurse practitioners cannot put a referral in for anesthesia they are not qualified..1st question why do they not know that 2nd question After I tried to correct this with four phone calls and nothing was a done!! Fountain Valley hospital called 6 times and the girls in office couldnt get it right!! 2 months of back and forth.An office manager finally got a real doctor to sign off and they forgot to send orders in only referral. 3months later I think were are ready and radiology tells me instead of finalizing the orders they cancel everything completely!!! Are you kidding me!! Is this someone to trust?

This bad review is specifically for Dr. Richard Blanks. He is a pompous ass, whom had no intention of actually doing his job. His arrogance was overwhelming, and he is incapable of listening or even reading a medical chart. He had no idea what was going on, and whats even more disgusting, he was completely content on being of no help when I clearly expressed the degree of pain I was experiencing. When I asked repeatedly for any type of medical advice, after he had brushed me off with several smug condescending responses, his final statement to me was, What do you want me to say? After this disheartening encounter, I called back and rescheduled with Dr. Fan. Dr. Fan actually listened and provided a treatment plan, which is why I have given 2 stars on this review, despite his colleague Dr. Blanks absolute incompetence.

Garbage service and docs. Worst experience in two continents, 3 states and 4 countries I’ve lived in.Walked in for back issues that keep me on the floor after office work daily in my early 30’s. These people promised I was in network and then even though I had an appointment and were on time they kept me at lobby filling out forms and waiting for an hr. They force you into xrays before you even speak. Doc spent a whooping 4-5’ with being sympathetic and saying he gained weight too, and back pins happen to all sometimes.They even sent an additional bill after the visit. They billed 650$ + for forceful xrays, wasting 2 hrs of my time and seeing the doc for under 5’ with no value, advise and 0/2 of referrals I asked for and we are two months since my one and only first and last appointment with this high way robber.

AMAZING LEVEL OF CAREAfter learning late last week that my shoulder was in MUCH worse shape than I had originally been told by a previous Orthopedic practitioner, I was luckily referred over to OC Orthopedic Specialists.I called in mid-afternoon on Friday afternoon and was assisted by Dominique. She was polite, professional and added a very calming atmosphere to our conversation, as I was in a great deal of pain while we spoke and was also highly stressed about everything that was going on. After explaining that it was imperative that I be seen on the following Monday by a member of the practice, Dominique spoke with her office manager, confirmed my insurance authorization had been received and obliged my request.To call into a doctor’s office on a Friday afternoon and be given an appointment first thing in the morning on the following Monday is practically unheard of. I was highly impressed.When I arrived at the office today, I was politely greeted, and provided with the office’s WiFi password so that I could use it to be entertained while I waited to be seen.A short time later, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Dr. Richard Blanks, MD.Dr. Blanks, very professional & ‘to the point,’ was polite, extremely thorough and made sure that I had a full understanding of what was going to be happening moving forward. Made an appointment submitted my insurances at the time of scheduling. arrive for my appointment and am told they need to verify my insurance and it’ll take some time. Why wasn’t this done over the week and half prior to my appointment.. Appointment was at 9am got there 15 min early and after an hour of sitting there in the waiting room for them to verify insurance which can be done in seconds over the computer or minutes over the phone, I got an attitude fueled response when I questioned why it was taking so long...Do your F ing job or get out of the customer service industry please.. walked out will never be going back there again.. should have looked at their ratings.
