They dont have excellent service. Its bad service. I come every night and I cant find tissues to clean the machine so I can use them, but I cant find tissues, and when I talk to a supervisor there, she doesnt listen to me.

Everyone that works here is so friendly especially Colton he was amazing, when no one else could figure out how to connect my blue tooth to the tanning bed he not only told me but showed me how to do it also Made sure to ask me if I had my eye wear for the tanning bed. The total body enhancement makes u feel refreshed after a hard work out. Love this place ❤️

Cant beat the price, good gym with a variety of equipment. The busy hours can be hard though on getting what you need to work out. If you love treadmills you are guaranteed to get one even during busy hours since they have a ton of them.

Over night crew is great especially Flores such a great guy! Very welcoming and makes your night great! Also Pepper is a great employee she makes sure everything is clean and is willing to help you out with any problems or concerns. Truly a great evening crew!

Visiting Planet Fitness is always a great experience. The machines are consistently available and well-maintained, and the people here, from staff to fellow guests, are friendly. The manager even waived two late fees for me, allowing me to return after a year.

I highly recommend the deep body tissue massage. Its smaller than where I usually go but there still is so much to do and workout. Its very clean and I felt very comfortable working out here. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I attend the gym in Turlock, I really like the gym, but they could do a better job with cleaning the men’s room it smells of urine really bad and there is lot of urine on the floor in front of the urinals and the tanning room #1 needs to be cleaned a lot of junk on the floor, rocks, paper, hair, etc… the paper towels dispenser runs out then people are looking for other ones or just don’t wipe down their machines at all. I notified associates and they were busy looking at their cell phones . I think the cell phones need to go in their lockers and be more associated with the members and the cleanness of the gym . I can’t say that they don’t clean because I have seen them clean but the men’s room needs to be dealt with more than what they are dealing with and the floors throughout the gym needs to be vacuumed throughout the day as well to get up people’s hair and dirt brought in. The cleaner you keep the gym the more happy and healthy members you will have .

The staff is friendly and club is clean. This club does push left leaning politics. Only channel never working is Fox New. Only channel that never has volume is the one with Fox News. If there isxan issue with CNN they move the station to snother TV space. This has been going on for years. Its not a temporary thing. Its been going on for years.

Do NOT sign up to this branch! No hot water in the showers for months now. And the management got rid of toilet seat covers probably as a way to make a quick profit, as they seem to havee forgotten about cleanliness and sanitation. This is basically a review of the owners and operators, not the employees who are actually nice and only relay the information they are given by corporate. Since the remodel a couple of months back, showers were supposed to be working properly but to no avail. Showers get shut down at least once a week to get looked at and fixed and still continue to be freezing cold. They take forever to drain so if you go shower, there is still an inch of water from the previous person 30 minutes later. Basically a lack of care for customers by corporate who refuse to fix the simple perks we are supposed to be paying for. Who knows how much the remodel cost only for basic necessities such as electricity, warm showers, toilet seat covers, and basically caring for customers to no longer be deemed as an expectation but rather a luxury that no longer applies to members.

Again, Im a OTR trucker and I rely on planet fitness facilities as much as I rely on the truck stop facilities. I only judge the gym based off the cleanliness of their restrooms and showers. Im not sure whos job it is to clean the restrooms so they dont smell like urine. This is a common occurrence with all the planet fitness locations Ive been through around the country. This location is no different. Either the employees are just lazy and dont care to clean the restrooms or planet fitness corporate hires a 3rd party to come clean but either way this Locations facilities are just disgusting!! The moment you walk in you get a warm nasty urine smell.... yall need to address this issue. Its not just 1 facilities. Its 90% of the planet fitness gyms Ivisit. Thank you for listening and I hope you do something about this.

So my wife and I have been members maybe 10+ years. The gym and the staff have become progressively worse over the years. It used to be the cleanest and well maintained gym around. They remodeled but still havent put some basic things back in place....... Small waste baskets and hooks in tanning and massage areas. Remodeling is done and the place is always filthy. Today was the worse. The sanitation bottles and paper towel dispensers throughout the gym were completely empty. So frustrating walking all over the gym trying to find supplies to wipe down the equipment for the next customer. The mens restroom is always dirty. For months there has only been one soap dispenser in the mens bathroom. Today after using the restroom I had to use only water because there is not even a drop of soap in the dispenser. And everybody else coming out also not washing there hands. I used sanitizer at the front desk. Totally unacceptable. I tell the front desk and its like talking to a wall. Probably gonna have to change gyms if things dont change immediately.

I have been expressing my concern to your front desk staff for past 3 weeks. The showers on womens side Never get hot. Your front desk staff basically ignored me. Telling me there is no reason for it to be cold. This went on for 3 weeks. Ethan at front desk said he would contact me with update. He NEVER did. He barely looks up from his cell phone whenever I spoke to him.There is way too much to write. I tried to speak to Izzy? The manager. .but not available . Ethan was discriminatory to me. The only reason Im giving 4 and not 5 stars is cause sometimes they take ages to fix broken equipment and replace the water filter. I definitely think they should have a staff walking around (qualified to help the clients with right movement execution and basic safety tips).Besides that, I love the large space and environment! Lots of options for different workouts. Staff is alright and people training there tend to be nice and friendly.Accessibility is taken into account and the bath/changing room is large and fairly nice.

Just left this place. They keep logging me out of the Internet so I cant play music and I have a black card. The manager keeps saying the Internet is slow but it says the connection is good but Im logged out. 😂 This is what my husband does all day long for a school district so I know they logged me out. Canceled me an girlfriends membership since 2015, rude girl at the counter tried to embarrass me stating my measly $10 membership was a day late after being a member 8 years then I was told the club didnt have a Gm to complain to. This club is going down hill from beatup equipment to lazy workers who walk around on their phone all the time. Ditch this place an join the beautiful In shape City on the other side of town where the equipment is way newer an the staff more professional. The workers at Planet fitness talk about workers who were fired to the customers which is also a breach in privacy laws, ditch this place. I dealt with Sammy who was a real jerk who laughed and said the club didnt have a Gm. What a joke of a employee.

I was traveling and scoped out other gyms who wanted 50 bucks for a week pass. I signed up for a $10 month membership and used the gym the entire week. It was always clean, not crowded, and everything worked as expected. The staff were professional and it was easy to scan in and out. Best value for money I have seen in a gym in a long time.

Customer service is terrible. Everyone is just standing around glued to their phones. The only good employee is Sammy Galdamez. He is fantastic. His positive attitude and work ethic is what keeps me coming back. Their hours are ridiculous. They should be open 24 hours over the weekend, not the middle of the week. Closing at 9 over the weekend is crazy. I really don’t understand.

The Gym itself and the people who work there are great. However I wouldnt trust anyone in the Mens locker room area.I had my locker broken into 3 times, the first time they stole everything including my car!And Planet Fitness (Corporate) did nothing to help me when things where stolen, the employees really can not do anything but corporate was no help at all!Just be careful with your stuff and the lockers.

An employee by the name of Lolo always has such a great attitude when it comes to greeting and answering questions also a great customer service when I go buy water. I love planet fitness, I’ve been coming you for a couple of years. The environment is so friendly and comforting, and defiantly judge free zone. All the workers are so welcoming and have a good positive attitude. Ismael especially had high energy and made me laugh, definitely had a great personality. Marisela and Sammy are always so friendly!😊. Also, Julian’s vibe was very friendly and outgoing, very charismatic person and helpful.

For the price it is amazing… I really like the 30 minute express room… main reason I joined… sadly too many people use that room like the rest of the gym… and when I try to let them know… I get rude comments and made fun of… thought this was a judgement free zone… besides… it being the rules… management does very little to correct this… this room should only be used by people doing the circuit. Period… more people would use this room as intended if management would keep it clear of all those that wish to use it as part of the rest of the gym…Update 1/26/2023The store manager called me… And after a five minute conversation she told me to never come back to her store… so sad…

Aug 2022, summer, hot. It was so cool inside. Lots of equipment, lots of room, you can social distance. It was not full at all on Monday at 11:00am. I was there to upgrade my membership to Black Card; worldwide use of Planet Fitness for $24.99 per month. This is an excellent choice for all you travelers.2023 Jan In the 30 min quick workout zone they strongly encourage wiping of equipment before and after use with disinfectant. I cheat, I only disinfect after I use the equipment. This policy has been on effect for a long time.

Great gym overall, but how hard is it to just have some basic Wi-Fi at this place, their wifi only lets you connect once in a blue moon, other times, their router just denies you internet.UPDATE: internet issues seem to have gotten better (only positive). If it wasn’t for the cheap price I would have cancelled this membership years ago, the staff almost never does their job with the “crowd meter” feature in their app so I’ll see that the club is 3/10 full on the scale and when I go there literally every single treadmill and 9/10 of the other machines are full, my other friends have also experienced thisI almost never leave bad reviews like this, makes me feel like a real Karen typing all this out, every review I ever leave is generally positive but I don’t know if it’s just this specific PF or if all are like this but it’s such a bad business. The only pro is that it’s cheap and open late

I’ve enjoyed using this gym since I signed up. My only complain is that certain days, such as Sundays or Fridays close at 9pm where as other locations such as Ceres or Modesto are 24hrs. At least according to the internet. If those are hours are accurate it bums me out that ceres can facilitate 24hr services and Turlock can’t. Oh well. Still a pleasant gym

I appreciate hard workers like Lolo who truly enjoy their job and give 100 percent satisfaction to their clients. I’ve never been treated with such respect. 100 percent recommend planet fitness.

I really liked the gym, it was not too crowded considering the time of day, it didnt have that stinky gym smell which is great. Plenty of exercises to choose from.The only thing I really didnt like was that the leg press only had one bar so the Max on it is 810 nothing like my 2100... but its all good just means I need to do 4x the sets.Great staff very knowledgeable very friendly too and the staff and guests appear no be non judgmental which is awesome.

I would say this is the best Planet Fitness from a Turlock to Modesto. I tried the other once and their layout, cleanliness, and quality is not the same. I rather drive from Modesto where I live to this gym because of the quality of machines and how clean and organized it is. Locker rooms are always clean and functional

Bad experience after working out I needed to take shower and the water never got hot, staff said it goes in and out even after they had people come fix it. I totally rate this gym 0/5 because shower/ hot cold water issues shouldn’t be a problem at the gym. I pay $25 a month it’s Ridiculous.

I would like to formally announce that I have placed a prior review that was actually for another location in Modesto.The turlock planet fitness on main is what I call my home gym, but unfortunately, that may change swiftly if the temperature of their showers remains at a frigedstate.I prefer relaxing and loosening my muscles not the polar opposite... no pun intended with the ice cold showers after patiently waiting for 15 minutes with negatory success of achieving a heated state.Staff is Hella chill, very clean gym, Management just lets there staff handle the gym and they do a great job overseeing and assists.Fix it and Ill upgrade the start, its a worthy investment to tell your property owner that you are leasing the building from that you are willing to pay the material and installation costs to improve the quality and temperature of water which in turn will result in satisfied customers and an increase in numbers.

Very friendly staff. They do a great job of maintaining the area clean. New owners just took over and their new policy says you cannot bring bags to the floor and no equipment of your own. I liked bringing my own jump rope since they don’t have any, but now it is not allowed. The trainer on site is great. They have nice dressing rooms. There is no pool or a sauna. You do not get towel service either. It’s a great starter gym.

Dave and Julian are such great staff member and went over and beyond with helping me out, and getting my AirPod out of the stair master machine. They work very hard to keep this customers happy. Just want to say that this gym is by far hands down the best gym around. I’ve been to many n none compare to this one. It’s nice to go there n do my workout n feel like I’m not out of my element. Several employees make that happen. Xittlolly, Eduardo, Javi, Julian B n Julian F, David n Lily are all great every time I come in. DJ is so nice. Randy is my personal favorite. My son went to planet fitness for the first time, he didn’t like layout of the gym, then when he was outside the gym waiting for his mom to pick him up, he was harassed by security for loitering, not a friendly area. He currently has a membership at another gym and has never had any problems. Who cares if the price is only $10 a month if the gym location is on a rougher side of town.

I normally have a very great experience when I come to this gym, but today was by far the worst experience Ive had. Another member and I of this gym were waiting for a while to be checked in. This girl who had us waiting looked like a new employee (she was wearing glasses) and she was talking with another member and did not acknowledge us until she finished speaking with the other member. Normally when I come to this gym employees are quick to welcome and check me in even if they are helping or talking to other members.

But thanks to the amazing help I received from Lucia Lopez all those insecurities went away. I felt motivated when I started taking her classes and felt very secure of myself when I started seeing the results of her work out routines. In the beginning I had some apprentions about planet fitness because I was really sold on In-Shape but once I joined I realized I was totally cheating myself. There were no high pressure sales people. The equipment was new, top of the line and plentiful. Easy check in. Everyone is as important than the next person. Yes, the facility is clean but my only concern is that I was there for just over an hour and only saw a staff member go around one time and not even to wipe machines down, which I do before and after I use, but to just refill the cleaning solution. Watching other member wipe down machines is one of the main reason I do before and after. Other than that, felt great to get back to it!

This was my first time back since the shutdown and I was curious to see how well they were enforcing covid restrictions, unfortunately they failed in enforcing mask wearing. There were two males working out and moving throughout the gym walking past several staff members without anything being said. I approached one of the staff members and asked them why they werent enforcing mask wearing and all the employee did was kinda shrug his shoulders and walked away. If you are going to advertise that your following local and state requirements for mask wearing then you should enforce them so other people can feel safe while they workout. Other then that one issue, the gym was very clean and machines were tagged to enforce social distancing requirements

I absolutely love planet fitness! The staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I come in and leave. They are always willing to answer questions. Lucia is the best trainer ever. She really works hard to make sure everyone is treated equally when you take her classes. Her classes are always fun and make you break a sweat. Also a plus is that she brings her own music to get your hyped for your workout! I would recommend taking at least one class with her. You will definitely feel the soreness over the next few days lol. Planet fitness has a great workout atmosphere and is always in tip top shape. Not to mention it is actually clean and organized. Its an okay place if youre looking for a quick workout. My biggest knock against this place is the lack of a scale. It would be pretty nice to have a decent scale with which to track your progress. Also, this is the only gym Ive ever been to where they sometimes hand out free pizza which is very counterproductive to what these people are here for. You can argue that one should be strong enough to not take the pizza but it would be nicer for these people to not serve pizza in a GYM.

Ive only seen machines unavailable for service or maintenance a handful of times in about the 12 months Ive been a member.Sucks that they only give you one five minute token for the massage chairs now instead of two, but thats what happens when dudes take em home instead of dropping them into the machine for whatever reason.

Its a good gym, but there is a lot of homeless around there, and might harass you. Also might break in your car if they see change in there. Plus one has 2 dogs, with one running around with no leash. They need to call and remove them, before you see a bunch of drug abusers passed out on Heroin, and leaving needles everywhere.

Ive been to several other gyms and so far this is my favorite. The trainer, Lucia Lopez, is very motivating, friendly, and her classes are amazing. The thirty minutes fly by listening to music. She offers multiple classes and I cant say one is better then the other. I recommend her classes and if you have any questions she answers them gladly. By far one great trainer.

Ive been doing the 30 minute classes for 1 1/2-2 months now, with the trainer Lucia....shes the best! She makes all of the classes fun, but also makes you work hard and challenge yourself. Love coming here it’s a great environment. The only downfall is I come with a friend who is in a wheelchair. The spacing between equipment is not wheelchair accessible.
