Such a great time with music and animals! Food and drinks were Alot better priced then I thought! Such a good time and so many shows to watch and things to do! Definitely would recommend!

OOP $10 parking, $20 admission (2 adults + free child 5 and under), $14 churro + funnel cake, $8 popcorn, $22 rides wristband = $74. We did eat dinner before coming. There was so much to do, we felt we could’ve spent $10 less on rides to roam around more!1st time for my hus, myself, and our 2.5 y/o. Very well done. Clean, varied activities, varied environments for entertainment (and AC if it’s hot).Plenty of free things to enjoy- 4H animal competitions, shows, music, free family activities, and exhibitsThe food was the most painful price gouge. We ate dinner before arriving. There were seriously 1-person items for $17-20. This concerns me that it’s a compilation of inflation plus vendor fees. I hope the vendor fees are manageable so the customers don’t end up paying the price. Not everyone can afford that, and you’re not allowed to bring in outside food.

This review is for VENDORS. Do not even consider participating in this! I was told there would be thousands of customers walking around… but 99% of the time, there are not even “dozens” in the vendor center! In the seven years I’ve been doing fairs, festivals and outdoor markets, this is the worst foot traffic I’ve ever experienced.

The searched through my bags like i had done something wring. They seatched through everyones bags. I refused to go in after that and went home. It is wrong on so many levels that if you have to be searched to go to the fair we shouldnt have fairs then.

Went to the circus 🎪 and it wasnt that good no animals showed it was boring never going to that circus again. Only thing Ok about was the fake mechanical king Kong whe he lifts the of the ladies.

Great place for a car show like Bug-O-rama. Will be back the weekend of June 21st thru the 23rd for placer County fair. Come see the animals, enjoy good eats and fair rides. It will be a great time. Also livestock auction will be held on June 22nd. @ 10am. Free entry for buyers plus free lunch, wine and beer for buyers. Get in early to get a great seat. This auction will support your local FFA (Future Farmers of America) and 4-H kids for the generations to come. Come join us and the fair.

They have a RV park in the rear some sites with full hookups (50/water/sewer - no 30 amp - bring adapter!) and some with power and water only. No tents. No bathrooms. $35/night. Good location but nothing much to see/do around.They have two gates. If you are in a trailer or motorhome over 25 use the entrance thru the speedway! The gate in the back is VERY narrow and may damage your RV!Park hosts & people at the office are very nice!!!

We went for dinosaurs event for all ages specially for children. Drive thru only and cant go down from the car. A lot of dinosaurs and some are moving and sounds to look and sound real. But youre in the car so quick probably less than 10 minutes to see everything and one time entry only. Overall but kids enjoyed to see the dinosaurs.

Typical fairgrounds. Pretty spacious. Cool looking racetrack but I didnt go in. Attended Anime convention. Lots of food trucks so lots of room there. Building where event was held looks pretty new

As a handicapped person the walk from the parking lot to the event was long and the handicapped was in short supply.The entrance was not marked very well it was marked on all American drive that the entrance was on the other side of the fairgrounds after you made the turn,and 2 guys explaining how to get in.The races were so much fun and the food was awesome full night of entertainment for not much money,

This is a state of the art gym. It has volleyball and basketball equipment that fully retracts towards the high ceiling. Nice and new.

Different Fairs Circuits open during the Summer Time. However, Placer County Fair in Roseville, CA is the most most family friendly and mello in terms of rowdy kids, teens or adults compared to East Bay of California. Believe me when I say this because I have been to so many fairs with Timo The Clown Enterprises in the 1990s-2000s.

Great, clean facility. We have gone to several events for my kids sports here. Plenty of nice space outside to hang out while waiting (I would suggest camping chairs if you are here for a long day. There are limited number of picnic tables). When we went there was also a corndog/fries/lemonade, taco and coffee/icee stand. Parking cost $10

We were in the newer buildings. Nice place, great climate control, good lighting, well laid out, but the temp carpet was laid really badly (issue for people with walker or wheelchair). Bathroom was CLEAN, parking $10 so pretty reasonable. Food prices were somewhat outrageous, but not unexpected for a convention. Overall very positive.

I needed a place near At the grounds and this came recommended based on Google reviews. Staff was very welcoming and helpful and room was clean. However property as a whole looked like old and needing refurbishment. Complimentary breakfast was good. Toaster did not work and was pretending to work. Haha. Anyways, I did not find it bad and will revisit if I cant find any other place in vicinity.

Was very disappointed in the fair this year. They had signs out saying please be patient, we are short staffed. They had less than half the rides from previous years. I guess the race cars took priority. Still had to pay $40 for the wrist bracelet for only 10 rides.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the fair grounds. This was my first time at this events center. It is large and has plenty of space for large events needing large scale venue. Other that the carpeting needing a refresh the place was clean, the bathrooms were large and also clean.The staff was kind and dedicated.

I have been coming here for 25 years. The place never gets old to me. We attended a racing event at the speedway. Just great fun. Food is good and bad depending on what you get and what your expectations of it are. I realize this is not a restaurant so we do not get anything that will be a letdown anymore. The grandstands are old aluminum benches, but what else would you want? Bill has really made this place better and I am excited to see what it will be in 5 years.

Im always here during volleyball season. I have two girls who play volleyball. The staff are nice and the bathrooms are clean. Parking is plenty full and you can come in and out of the parking lot. Ill be back next season.

Very, very well organized Covid vaccine location. Great job by Placer county Health Department! Abundant parking, accurate and highly visible directional signs, efficient check in at physical location, as well as an easy online appointment sign up. All staff we encountered were super congenial and helpful, as well as efficient. The line moved very quickly. It couldnt have gone any better.

So helpful! We where at the hospital and no parking for our 5th wheel. (31ft) They let us park there overnight till our baby was able to come home with us. Yes we had to pay 40$ (I think it was) but they where so nice. Power and sewer line hook ups. Perfect for a last min spot for a few days.

Was here for a volleyball tournament. Facility is nice. On the second day, in the afternoon, the air conditioning was off and it was MISERABLE. Im surprised the girls didnt pass out...and with thousands of people inside, not too good. They cranked it back on and it was much much better but Im not sure why it was off in 100 degree weather!

Went to the county fair. Too bad they didnt have more exhibits on the indoor buildings. Its a pretty small fair and it would have been nice to see more things. The grounds are well kept and I think theyre trying hard to make it a better event.

Went for the evening at the Speedway & had a blast! Set up for each race went quickly, the races were fun to watch, many of the participants were 10-12 year old local drivers. The Bandalero cars were a hoot! The finale with the trailer bash was hysterical! A bargain for all the entertainment, good food and fresh lemonade made to order! Check It Out!

Ive only been here for the races. the restrooms need work for accessibility. they were barely doable. ladies room outside of the track area: one handicap stall was blocked by the restroom entrance door, and the only other one was blocked by a giant garbage barrel. ladies room inside of the track area: too narrow for a wheelchair / scooter to turn around, and the only handicap stall is right inside the entrance so if you pass it up, you have to backup to get back to it because you cant turn around in there--and when you come out of the stall to use the sink, the stall door blocks the path for everyone else to get in/out of the restroom unless you go all the way outside and back in again to use the sink. not good!

We just went to the delta waterfowl banquet . The hall really needs better acoustic panels to be installed so you can hear people better. Its a wonderful place and plenty of lighting in the parking lot.

The fairgrounds are very clean. Not what Im used too in the past! New paved parking, is amazing. The rock & gem show was an amazing event March 26th with beautiful items, from all over the world! Impressed with the customer service of the employees who worked that day & all around, upgrades to the property. I had an amazing time! Thank you.

Strawberry festival was great. Prices were stepped to park/enter. Food and drink always astronomical at these events. Spent a cool 40 in the first 10 minutes of arrival and the kids didnt even eat yet

I went to the quilt, Sewing and Craft festival which was being held there for the first time. Its a large area out there at the new fairgrounds but I wasnt quite happy with the layout. First of all there are a lot of seniors that go there and I thought there was NOT enough handicapped parking spaces. So if you have to park far away it would have been nice to have some extra spaces. But if you were lucky to find a spot way back in front of the venue it would had been nice until you got to the front steps and saw that if you needed to use the ramp to walk/wheel up you had to walk past the main steps a lot farther down the parking lot to get to the available ramp to walk up. By that time I was pretty worn out. POOR PLANING GUYS!The Races were on that day and something else about Tacos.All in all it was a nice although smaller show. Im sure it will grow.I guess Roseville needs to make money to pay for all new ventures and thats why they need to charge $10.00 for parking like Cal Expo. But then again they will probably due a lot better than the Rocklin Fiasco of City Hall called an Adventure. Yes, an adventure into your wallet to pay for it.So, Roseville new fairgrounds a 7 out of 10!Rocklin a -10. Thats a minus mark.

We went out for the berry festival on mothers day and it was packed. Which we kinda expected. Great food trucks of all kinds. The Firestone pizza was delicious. But much to my surprise there were very few berries. Maybe 3 stands had any sign of berries. But there were pirates and people in other costumes which I didnt really understand. Not sure if I would go back. I can find food trucks with less of a crowd most weekends.

Currently only a handful of rv spots. Can use fairgrounds for walking & plenty of room for walking your dogs! Our kids enjoyed using their new skates too. Its a 1st come 1st serve for a spot. We have been told that more sites will be added later. U can hear a train in the far distance but no bother. Mostly a very quiet park. Carol is very friendly, she met us at our site upon pulling in & setting up.

I attended an Acton Placer Academy Business Fair for their students back in late March and the Fairgrounds was very inviting, and it was awesome to see a Race Track also on the grounds, along with ample parking.I am looking forwards to future events here!

Lots events are held here and most are well coordinated. The city used to hold 4th of July fireworks here as well, but that has ended for dinner reason... budget issues probably. Theres also a car race track here for all you gear heads.Soon there will be a large sports complex built on the site which should diversity the events that can be held there.

Placer Valley Tourism has recently revamped The Grounds and it really has a new pop! I recently attended the Roseville 2018 Event here during the week of the unveiling and was extremely impressed. I grew up visiting the Fairgrounds in the summer but I never saw it as a place that could be utilized throughout the year for other events. The new colors, landscaping and other changes have brought new life for future generations of attendees to The Grounds. Great job David and Team for the transformation!!!

We went for the berry fest in May. Handicap parking was too far from the entrance. If you are in a wheelchair, using a cane or walker do not go!! The terrain (grass, rocks, asphalt) is rough and we had to keep going back because of all the high curbs. The restrooms were not ADA, at all!! Not enough shade or seating so the heat and crowds makes it a miserable experiance. However, it is under construction. So, maybe it will improve.

I am visiting the event at this ground today. I pulled into the parking lot, there were a lot of people crossing through the driving lot so I stopped for them to safely get to the other side of the road before I could proceed. One of the parking lot attendants named Tina got aggregated that I was allowing the pedestrians to cross and started getting aggressive that I need to move in an up tone voice with violent gestures. I paid the dues, parked my car and headed towards the same location to express my concerns. I found a gentleman who claimed to be the owner of the company contracted for parking lot. He was rude judging because I was brown and told me that he doesn’t trust me and he was not going to do anything. He called me a bluff on my face and told me that this is what my “kind” does “ALL” the time. I told him that he needs to tell his employee to calm down as people are coming to this event to have fun. He called out: “Tina can you calm down”, and laughed.I am not sure how the county hires such people to be the customer face. This is racism to its best.

Great day at the berryfest,however more seating for adults in the kids ride section was needed. Vendors could have made more $ if they had thought of the adults such as grandparents, etc. They missed the mark big time. Great place to hold this kind of event though.

The entire fairgrounds have been upgraded nicely, but Johnson Hall still needs some serious sound baffling. You cant hear whats going on inside because of the terrible acoustics, even with a P.A. system. Too much echo and revibration. The parking lot was poorly planned from the standpoint of handicapped persons (of which I am one). Turning on the lighting in a timely fashion would make the parking lot much safer.

Terrible customer service! Obviously not sticking to the “rules” for booking RV spots. Told can only call day before to reserve. Called right when they opened…all booked, and when asked how that could be the woman was completely rude and stumbling for an answer. Hmmmm that doesn’t seem right. Will never try again!

Unfortunately, a new company bought the fairgrounds. The company neglected to tell those renting their facility that parking was not included. All guests had to pay $10 to get into the Grad Party. They need to be sure they explain their rental agreements better.

Decent fairground venue. Parking is a huge issue. I was a vender and it took me an hour to get to a parking spot. Serious traffic issues. Our booth was situated inside the racetrack which was fine. The grass was patchy and weedy with cockleburrs, not the best. The upper area of the fairgrounds has lots of lush grass. The great hall was very well equipped.

I drive by the fairgrounds and race track dozens of times each week. City is currently adding landscaping along the front of the fairgrounds on Washington Street. Looks like they are about half way done adding trees and shrubs. Nice improvement. Several gas stations nearby.

Went here for Dire World and loved it! Just a little advice about the parking, dont bring ur luxury vehicle, do what my mother and I decided to do; take my all wheel drive Escape. The parking is on some uneven dirt, just like the fair grounds themselves so wearing heels isnt such a good idea either.

The best facility in terms of the layout, courts, barriers between courts, space between courts, tiered bench seating, and some of the cleanest bathrooms anywhere in public. Only complaints are the entrance (too few lanes), parking and that it costs $10 to park and $5 ea to enter.

Over the last 8 years, the Fairgrounds has undergone a wonderful transformation. Improvements to the original buildings, and investment in the new 150,000 square foot Event Center totaled over $40 million. They have not adequately addressed ADA compliance issues. Handicapped parking is too far away from the building for voting. It is .11 miles from the handicapped parking to the building entrance. Ten handicapped parking places will be insufficient for most events, i.e. high school graduations.

The Strawberry Festival was only the beginning. Waay back in the back, almost out of sight, was a mini Renn Fayre. They had the auto arena outfitted with a jousting area, a bunch of pavilions, and a few sales booths. We even got our fortune read at a gypsy encampment. Of course there were the requisite lemonade booths, every one touting a strawberry flavour amongst all the other choices. Keep going until you find the one that sells lemonade in the 3 foot tall cups...with neck strap. They offer free refills!

Youd think Placer county with its big tax base could muster something better than a mediocre fairgrounds from the 70s. The events are pretty lackluster too and they charge for parking forcing most people to clog and litter in the adjacent neighborhood.

Came to the All American Speedway. They usually have 2 beer booths on either side of the grandstands but this year for the biggest event of the year they only had 1. Another odd curiosity is the man event was scheduled earlier than usual.

So disappointed. It says it will start at 7 pm, door will be open at 6:45. From 6:45-7:05 we were standing outside of the door. We left didnt wait longer anymore. They did not even allow my 17 yr old daughter to use the restroom at around 6:30 pm because we were outside waiting in the line already.

It home to the All-American Speedway racetrack. It is where the Strawberry festival, Placer County fair, Callson Manor ScarePark, and various crafting fairs all happen. It is small enough you can really enjoy a day at any of these events and not be rundown from walking all day. Ample parking and it is right next to the Roseville Police Department.

Just make sure you take a comfortable pair of walking shoes because the area I went to was very very large and parking and restrooms were a good walking distance. Also, make sure you know exactly what section you are heading to as it can be confusing.
