I am very pleased with my experience here! There were plenty of time slots for appointments, and the person I spoke to was very helpful! I believe his name is Paul, and he helped me the whole time. He was honest, very helpful, and efficient. I took my car in at 7:30am, by 10:04am I had a diagnosis and quoted price, and my car was ready by 2:30pm! I was very impressed with how quick everything was done, the pricing was fair, and the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be recommending this place and coming back!

I had been calling around from shop to shop getting quotes ranging from $150-280 to install one of my passenger side HID headlights.I called here around 11am on a Saturday and Joe told me to bring the car over and theyd take care of me. We talked prices and it was 3x less than what these other shops were charging me and the work was done within 15 minutes. Not only was the work done quickly, I did not have to compromise quality work for a cheaper price. The install was done flawlessly.I finally found a shop I can trust and I will be back for more work whenever my vehicle needs it and I will tell all my family and friends about this shop!

Visiting family from out-of-state, and my brakes blew out on our last day of the visit. I called Placentia Super Service first thing in the morning and they were able to get me in same day and replace front and back brake pads and rotors. Paul upfront was very professional, considerate, and understanding to our situation, ensuring fast and quality service for us before the long drive ahead! Fantastic service made the day better despite the unfortunate reason we were there, 10/10 I would recommend Placentia Super Service to anyone local or passing through!

I brought my CRV in for an oil change only to find several major maintenance issues that needed attending. They were extremely kind, accommodating, and professional. Benjamin was very informative and communicated with me about every step. I definitely felt like I was being provided high quality service and will be coming here in the future. I didnt use the waiting area but it was clean and well-stocked. Overall excellent service, fantastic people, 10/10 would recommend.

I dont usually write reviews but Bob and everyone at Placentia Super service were so professional.I called Bob requesting my husbands truck needed repaired same day so he could return back to work next day. Bob made things happen and got our truck back was back within a few hours. I didnt have to wait picking up the truck and the lobby was beyond impressive. Treats and drinks along with a nice waiting area. Thank you Bob and your entire team. I will be returning because we found our new trusted service center !!!

Had my F-150 serviced. Needed trans flush and coolant flush. They did a complete 60pt inspection. I new more service was needed and they sent me a complete breakdown of other items that were a concern. Detailed with pictures like my coffee colored brake fluid! Cost effective and awesome service!With a ride home after I dropped off truck.Then they picked me up the next day when truck was finished. No complaints and very reliable. I went and had them evaluate my vehicle which had died on me and asked for their evaluation and estimate for repairs. I knew there would be a $150 charge even if I chose not to have any work done there so I cannot hold them to blame for that. However the estimate they gave me for the minimum required to get my vehicle back on the road was almost double the amount I ended up spending at another five-star repair location in Fullerton. Their location was very clean and their entire operation seemed very professional, but for me the cost of repairs was higher on my list of priorities.

There was no wait time when I dropped off my vehicle and I was kept updated as to the services being performed and technician recommendations. I moved to the Southern California area for a work opportunity. A few months after arriving I had some significant overheating issues with my vehicle. Luckily, Placentia Super Service was closest tow location. They have beyond professional and a good partner in resolving my car issues and keeping me on the road to complete my work. I have utilized their services for major work (including an engine replacement) to minor work (including oil changes) and highly recommend them for any work you might need. I have found them to be great service partners.

Prices are inflated and their mechanic left two dirty greasy rags on my engine. I luckily discovered them a few days later before anything caught on fire. I wouldnt go back for any kind of auto service in the future. They have a very nice and clean lounge though.

I was able to return to Costco and get a replacement tire for no cost. I am very grateful for their expertise. I’m so thankful that I found this shop. My Jaguar is 22 years old and needs tender care. To begin with, the shop is clean and gorgeous. The waiting room has a picture window that looks out to the spotless work area. The floors shine, the technicians are clean, even the cars are shiny! Inside the waiting room there is a beautiful restroom, multiple internet access spots on the leather couch and chairs, and a coffee table with flowers and magazines. On offer you will find quality granola bars and candy, other snacks, coffee, a variety of cold drinks and a popcorn machine. You don’t have to wait of course, there is a free ride service. I’d tip the driver for that convenience! My service advisor was Benjamin Green. He was patient and communicative, as I’m sure the other advisors must be, or the shop would not be as successful. I recommend PSS to everyone I know. It’s too hard to find quality work or products anymore.

I have brought my truck to this service center twice. Each time they did a great job. The third time I took it in, it was for the same thing I brought it in for the second time. I was upset and angry and yelling and they maintained their professionalism and found a different problem and replaced it at no cost!! If you have a problem with your car this is the place. They even have rental cars. My service person is Benjamin but the other two guys are really nice too. One of them love Candy so bring him candy and he will take care of you.. lol.😂

They were very professional and quick. They wont do anything on your vehicle without your knowledge or consent PRIOR to any work done. They made me feel very comfortable with how they do buisiness and nothing was done that was not needed to be done. They listen and understand thier customers. In the long forgotten world of Customer Service, they are at the top of giving it to thier customers. I highly reccomend this shop for any and all needs for your car and You!! They also have a well stocked waiting area wit coffee, cold water, snacks, phone charging station and television if you choose to wait there instead of them giving you a ride home to wait! Within 10 miles I think for free. They will also pick you up when your car is finished. All free of charge! The people here are all great to work with. I will never take my car anywhere else again. The one pro I give them credit for is using high technology to show what was Changed on the car. Their techs use high quality computers to diagnose (not always a good thing to rely on computers to do work for you)I will not speak positively about their customer service and their pricing.If you can take your car to a cheaper place I highly recommend that, these people up charge like crazy. I brought their team a mid 90s Honda and they tried telling me the car was expensive bc it was complicated to work on!! I told them exactly what needed to be fixed (saving them dianosis) and they still charged me 1200$ to replace a water temp sensor, and an IACV valve. If u have an older car that needs work I highly recommend going anywhere else. This place might be okay if you have newer computer chip reliant cars, they have the capability to diagnose computer reliant cars and charge a lot for it but as far as simple old school cars, I would stay away from this shop.Also their customer service is so bad. The lady at the front desk is rude and doesn’t know a lick about cars and says we aren’t allowed to speak to the people messing with our cars! How stupid is that lol imagine cutting off communication to your client and having some nincompoop answer questions, super frustrating experience if you’re a customer who has a clue about cars and does research.This shop is literally for people who want to know nothing about their car and want to technician to handle everything, no explanation, no talking price or labor, no talking about parts, it’s crazy but they can get away with it bc they service placentia.

I got my front end repaired after an accident. $1600. I was told that included a front end alignment. My steering wheel is crooked and I tried to make an appointment several times and was blown off. “We’ll call you back”, but no call back each time. I’m not real happy so you have received no referral work from me. It was so close to a good job, just couldn’t complete it.

PSS is a little expensive for what they do. They try hard but are a little short when it comes to getting you vehicle back the same way as when they gave it back to you. Also when you use their Service to pay for their Service they offer a Finance Co. lender that is a Predorty Lender (156%) to pay for their Services. I recommend that you use them for services carefully and knowing.

Terrible place I ever never use service in my life!Professional, full service place such asloner, mechanic service,if you dont want to pay big payment in one time, they can help you about loan also, it is 90 days interest free(longer than that interest is very very high).they are locate problem very very fast, probably fix within 1 day for most case, great service, friendly team member. honest and decent/fair price.I want to update on review, first time fixing car they doing great BUT second time they repair/replace gasket and fix oil leak, they make failed on my car engine, cost of repairing for arm busing and oil leaking/gasket is $2000. i trust them to do on Wed 22,2023 and i got my car the end of the day. and just drive back home.On thur 23 and Fri 24 i has been work about 5-6 hour a day, At 9pm on Fri 24 engine oil sigh show up, i open hood, i saw a lot of oil down on the lower pan, i try to get to store to get engine oil to fill up. BUT! when i get in freeway, MY CAR LOST POWER AND SHUTDOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF I-5 FREEWAY, im lucky enough that still alive and be able to pull over to side of the road before have accident. THIS IS VERY TERRIBLE FOR CAR AUTO SERVICE PLACE.

I felt compelled to write a review because I feel it is important for others to know. My car messed up on the freeway in the middle of the night and had it towed to a mechanic in that area. Was able to drop my car off and key in the lock box which was great! Turns out, something hit the oil filter causing all the oil to come out so essentially all I needed was an oil change which is actually super great to hear. The issue that I have is that they charge $150 for diagnostic and it does not go towards ANYTHING. I do believe that they are honest and do good work. They sent pictures and explained all the issues that they found. They did not pressure me to fix anything that I didn’t want to fix. But, all I got was an oil change (they talked me into getting a flush) and with the diagnostic… it was $350…. For an oil change. Which is robbery honestly.

Not pleased at at all. Went in for a routine car service. My car came back out worse than ever! Never had a problem with my car. Now it feels like it wants to shut off. Had to pay 135.00 for a diagnostic. For nothing to get resolved. Very disappointed. And I will be writing a review on yelp.

I have been taking my car here since I moved to Fullerton about 4 years ago. Recently my 2006 Nissan needed several repairs and they did a good evaluation and helped me find a way to pay for it. Obviously a stressful situation but Joe had the patience to walk me through the process. I also appreciate that they have a female front office helper. It always puts me at ease. Being so busy and unable to repair my car myself I was leary about anyone working on my 1986 camry.but Benjamin reassured me he could get it handled. With the help of others at placentia super service my car was repaired quickly . I was informed often with pictures and completed jobs. The price was fair and I wasnt hassled to spend more money on other repairs. They gave me an itemized list of things I should fix urgently all the way down to not so urgent. I was concerned about my AC not emitting cold air and one of the service advisors had taken the time to research and tell me to bring my car back to the dealership for a warranty fix. I found this company through Yelp. I submitted appointment request and got a response right away and a $25 coupon for first time service. I called them and Benjamin answered the call. He was helpful and friendly. The facility is high class and the waiting area is filled with drinks and goodies. The work station was set up with phone charger for many different kind of phones. I was able to work at the desk while I was waiting. Impressive! The car was done within the time frame I was told. Both Ben and Joe were helpful. I recommend this place. 👌

My car was several hours late being finished for a minor maintenance service and I had to call to get it finished before closing time because I needed to use the car. They told me I needed several thousand dollars of repairs. I took the car to another shop I trust and was told my car didn’t need any of the repairs cited. The truck was a no start. Full inspection plus fee to install starter I already bolted in was nearly 250.00. The hood no longer opens and closes they messed that up. They got the job done pretty quickly though so credit there. But not happy the hood doesn’t open.

I took it there in June because I had a very clear case of my car having a major coolant leak. They said they were going to do a diagnostic to see what else was wrong. I get back a list of 9 repairs they say the car needs. One of those is an oil leak that everywhere else I had taken it to, said was a small issue because it wasnt a bad leak. But I had the money at the time and I figured why not take care of everything wrong with it right now so I did. Car seemed fine when I got it back, but then 4 months later I take it in to them because I noticed the oil was leaking again and I checked my receipt from when I had taken it in the first time. On the receipt it said I had a warranty for 3 years on any of the repairs or 3600 miles (may have been more or less I honestly dont remember and I dont feel like getting up rn) so I took it hoping maybe it would be covered on the warranty and luckily it was. But they also told me that now I had 11 NEW problems plus the one covered by the warranty so a total of 12 issues. The first time I went in I paid $2066 and when I added up the new total it was near $8000. I told them to only take care of the warranty issue so that left me with 11 issues with the car still. Before I get to what happened and why Im leaving a very negative review, how is it that they found 9 problems the first time only for 4 months later to have 12 new problems??? If it really has any of these new issues why didnt they catch them 4 months earlier??? So I take my car back home and the next day... the very next day Im on my way to long beach and my car starts rumbling uncontrollably and smoking. I pulled into a jack and the box and had to leave it there overnight until I could come back in the morning. Honestly, I totally lost it over the phone with the staff and I know that wasnt cool, but also I dont feel bad in the slightest for anything I did say. So I took it to a place in long beach that was close they did a check on it all and told me it was an oil leak. Two that Placentia super service said I had plus the one they said they repaired... twice. Yes, one of those leaks was the one I had fixed a second time under warranty. The total I received from the second mechanic in Long Beach gave me a total of $1442.72 for the repair of what he said was necessary. So my big question is... did they swindle me at Placentia Super Service? I know I dont trust them. If you want to come here for all your car repairs go ahead Im not one to keep people from someones business but holy crap I honestly feel so swindled and believe I was taken advantage of. I cannot rationally believe that my car gained an additional 12 problems when I dont drive it that far or that far regularly.

They got my starter replaced in a day. My only complaint is they charge a nonrefundable $150 diagnostic fee. At 90% of mechanic shops, this fee is waived or credited if you get the car fixed there. After spending $700, I would have expected for this to be waived.

Not to take away from the other mechanics here, but Lorianna is amazing and went out of her way for me. I’ve got a 1 year old and a baby on the way, so errands are quite a challenge. I brought in my car for an oil change and asked about a smog check - she offered to take my car to get a smog check on a day they don’t usually do them, just to save me a trip. Noticed my radiator was leaking so I took it in here because it’s close to my house and has hood reviews. When I received the quote they wanted to charge me $875 for a factory OEM radiator. I went to the Chevy dealership and asked them how much a radiator is and the quoted me $475. So I looked at all the other parts too and everything was inflated 100-150%. I took the quote to another shop and they laughed at the amount of labor they quoted me which was nearly $1200. They overlapped many of the hours charging separate labor for the radiator and the hoses even tho it should be 1 job all together. When I confronted the service tech she said they offered price match guarantee but honestly I was so offended they tried to rip me off in the first place I’m taking my truck somewhere else and will never be back here.EDIT:Owner called me and apologized for the employees mistake. So, after having my battery replaced by triple A, it turns out my alternator was also out. I got my left and right control arms replaced as well, which requires an alignment. My spark plugs also needed to be replaced. All of these repairs can be stressful, but this is my third time using Placentia Super Service, so I knew that my car was in good hands. I originally had a an appointment on Wednesday, but they were able to run diagnostics on my car on Tuesday and I was out and driving again by Wednesday afternoon. I went in for an oil change and they did a 64 point inspection. After, they provided me with a well-defined and extensive list of things that I needed to do to my vehicle. I liked it because they were very attentive and courteous. They understood that I could not get it done at that moment, but that I would go back when I could afford to get more work done. I went there to get my brakes fixed but they did NOT fix them at all. They charged me almost 1k just to inspect it and house it for nearly a week. I called everyday to check the status and even went in person. They lied to me saying it wasnt done when it was. The brakes immediately started to squeak and failed to work causing me to end up in a accident. Luckily I didnt get too hurt. Edit: The manager was friendly and apologized for the lack of communication. He gave very sensible reasons to make me think the service I received was a one-off mistake. He was also willing to explain pricing and go over how they strive to provide good service. Overall, I think it would be worth coming again, they may not be the cheapest but they do care about their customers---Staff is friendly but will not return your calls. It takes them a whole week to inspect my vehicle and then they wrote me a $7k dollar estimate and well over half of that was labor. The diagnostic was partially done and the prices are insane. buyer beware

Unfortunately, this last visit was the worst experience I have had at this shop. Its very unfortunate because they had great customer service, paid attention to my concerns, and communicated in a timely manner. Today I was assigned to Joe, who could care less of what I had to say. He had zero customer service, zero communication skills, and just a terrible attitude. I have been coming for the past 2 years because of the great and welcoming customer service I experienced each time. Again, very unfortunate how 1 person could tarnish the reputation of a business. He caused me to loose the trust I had in this business therefore I will no longer be brining my car here.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Only had an alignment done but seems like this shop does good honest work. Waiting room is updated and nice, and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. It also has a big window into the shop where I could actually view my car being worked on. There was an error on my paperwork afterward but they’re on top of things and called me before I even got back home. A corrected version was then sent to my email. The error did not affect the work that was done. I would recommend.

Placentia Super Service is by far one of the finest mechanic shops I have been too. I called them early on a Saturday morning because I suspected the alternator went out on my car. They told me to bring my car right in. Their service was fantastic! They had my car repaired on the same day. These guys are amazing. I am in love with the detailed report that I get from them that even includes photos of all the areas of my engine. I know so much more about my car. Took my car here because of the reviews...I dropped off my car at 8 am this morning to get an O2 sensor replaced on my Acura. Staff was friendly and the place was clean but what happened at the end of the day is not ok. I communicated to them that i had to work at 5 pm and they ensured me that they would call me when my car was ready by 1pm. Almost 3 hours later after 1pm, I had to call and see what was going on. I understand people call out and things get crazy busy, but where was the call to let me know its going to take more time? I communicated my time constraint, why wasnt I communicated about the wait? I lost money not being able to make it to my shift. Had I known, I wouldve made arrangements to get to work. Didnt expect this from such a highly rated shop. Bummer.

It was a very good experience bringing my vehicle in to Placentia Super Service for repair. I called Bob and requested and received a phone estimate, which I compared to another shops estimate. He mentioned that Placentia Super Service had a promotion of free oil change for first responders due to Covid-19. I went here because of the good reviews but unfortunately I can’t leave one of those. When I called they told me they could take me in on a Friday but I’d most likely have to leave it overnight. I asked if they’d be able to work on it if I brought it in on Saturday and the said yeah to bring it in anytime. They didn’t perform the diagnostic test until the following Monday morning after I called them twice. They they told me it was going to be $700+ to fix the brakes on my 2008 Toyota Corolla. I made the easy deduction to take back my car and go somewhere else that wouldn’t overcharge me and take days to run a simple test.

Brought my car here to have my head gasket fixed. The shop did a great job at fixing the issue, however, they forgot to replace a part so I had to bring my car in again to have the part changed out. The second repair was covered by the warranty they issue on their repairs so I didnt need to pay anything out of pocket. It would have been nice to have it all fixed the first time around, but all in all a good shop, they will take good care of your car.

I went in to Placentia Super Service because my check engine light came on and while driving my car I could just tell something was wrong. I was able to make an appointment for early the next day after the light came on. From the beginning everyone was super helpful. The day I came in, check in was quick and I was told I would get a call when they knew exactly what was wrong. Once they found out what was wrong they gave me a reasonable estimate and told me they would have my car ready by the next day and they did. I was so pleased by the amount of time it took them to fix the issue. Coming here was the right choice.

BEST Car Repair Company Ive ever used!10/5/21: 2015 Hyundai Tucson LTD- starter unexpectedly went out at only 49K miles. 1 year past my 5-yr warr, dealer quoted $1,000 P&L to replace. I called their and I got a very nice guy named Benjamin and he told me let me do a I diagnostics first to see if you really need a transmission replacement and I gave him the go ahead and when he got finished it needed more than just that he found 18 more problems with the car I didn’t know about I had lent my car to someone and they drove it into the ground and he said that truthfully that I would be wasting my money on the transmission because their other issues too and I should just save what I was going to use for the transmission and get another car he would hate to see me waste my money and still have many more problems still to fix I told him thanks for being honest person and I appreciate him not trying to just make a buck but really being a good person by letting me know all that was wrong and I would just be wasting my money all the way around any place else would have just did the transmission and never tell you that it’s just a waste of time to just make that buck they are a real place of honest business for sure I will recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs and thank again Benjamin! I needed an oil change on my 2014 Acura MDX and brought it here, and also asked them to diagnose a minor new noise I was hearing.The receiving service was friendly, and they have a nice waiting room. They could also take my appt promptly, which I appreciated, and they performed the work on time.The significant disappointment I had, was the list of recommendations they came back with. It was nearly $4k for a series of recommendations that all felt pretty borderline or even ahead of when the service was needed, for a car that is performing well. And none the recommendations fit with the noise I was hearing, so that still feels undiagnosed. I would have really appreciated a more nuanced approach on recommendations that made me feel like they were looking out for my interests, rather than their own bottom line.Probably won’t be visiting these guys again.

Took my car in and got the rear brakes replaced as well as the right strut that was leaking. In years past when something went wrong I would be thinking, Ih my god, not the mechanic again. Are they going to misdiagnose it, fix something that isn’t broken, claim something’s broke that isn’t, overcharge me or a host of other things that cause me more stress than the car problem itself. I’ve never had that problem here. The whole experience here is so smooth you’re almost glad your car broke down. Lori at the Service desk communicates well and keeps the process going smoothly. Was up there a weekend ago for some baseball scrimmages and had just had service performed upon the vehicle(fuel pump assembly)well on the nite of the 7th while returning back to the hotel, my check light illuminated by flashing and then stayed on. Luckily, was able to get back to the hotel!!! He was able to put me into a rental vehicle for $20 a day(which was GREAT)thus allowing me to return home back to Vegas that very day!!! He also kept me well informed during the 5 days it took for the vehicle to be ready for pick up. I returned back on the the 7th just in time to get my vehicle back too(although they close at 5:00pm on Saturday)due to the tremendous traffic i was tackling, Michael eased my anxiety of not having to get a room at a hotel, by remaining at the shop after hours!!! My car broke down on a Saturday afternoon. I was about 25 miles from home and nowhere near my regular mechanic. Fortunately, my warranty allows me to use Repair Pal shops, so when I checked for local shops, Placentia Super Service came up. They were open late enough on a Saturday for me to get my car towed in. Even better was the fact that they had a loaner car available that I was able to use while my car was getting repaired. Not only did they get the problem covered under the warranty, they also inspected the car and found additional issues that they could fix under the warranty repair. My total repair was over $5000, and gratefully, I only had to pay my $250 deductible. Don was extremely helpful! I would absolutely recommend Placentia Super Service!

I learned of Placentia Super Service through Facebook where they offered to allow you to spread the cost of your repair over monthly payments. As my car was having cooling system issues and I had very little money, I gave them a try. I was approved for the monthly payments called Easy pay. My service writer took me to the service bay so the mechanic could show me my leaking radiator. The mechanic also told me I needed a new air filter. I just put a new air filter just a few days ago, so that led me to not trust the mechanic. The service writer told me the car would not be ready until the next day, so she provided me with a loaner. The next day, the service writer told me my car and paperwork would be ready to pick up after hours. I got off work after 830 pm and did not find my car out front as I was told it would be. I walked to the back of the shop and found a tech working after hours. He was able to pull my car out of a fenced area and give me my keys. I still did not have a copy of my final paperwork. The next morning at 11, the service writer gave me some excuse of why my car was not out front and told me she would e mail my final paperwork. My car was finished on Friday and I still don’t have a copy of my final paperwork!! I will not use Placentia Super Service again!
