A lovely park located behind the library. Lots of seatings in the park positioned under good shade. Apparently, they have a rock garden, but I haven’t found it yet. Or, did I?

Nice open area to sit and Have picnic catch up with friends or sunbathe. There are no play structures. The area has enough parking and gastro street with all its restaurant are within walking distance. Do check out the piece of Berlin wall which is nearby? Just a block away

Beautiful and idyllic park in the heart of Mountain View. Ideal for a short walk or a break after a meal on nearby Castro Street. The park is quiet and relaxed because ball players and dog walkers mostly use Eagle Park right across Church and Franklin Streets.

This a lovely little park, nestled into the heart of Mountain View. Right next to the library and the performing art area. Nice grassy area with a pathway for a nice stroll. Additionally, if you are into playing Pokémon Go, this is a great place for raids and Stops. Enjoy!

A great park to relax on a bench or picnic blanket. Mature trees provide plenty of shade. Its a nice people/pet watching place. Lots of dogs getting walked. I even saw a rabbit getting walked on a leash!

It is a small, and quiet park in the middle of what passes for downtown Mountain View. There is a small Chamber of Commerce building here, as well as the main library, the Center for the Performing Arts, and City Hall. Most of the time I have spent here, due to the pandemic, I suppose, the buildings have largely been unused, although they are quite modern looking. Though this doesnt prevent the locals from walking around. I will end this by saying its a nice little park in the Civic Center of Mountain View.

More manicured and smaller than nearby Eagle Park (also no off leash dogs at Pioneer). Right next to the Mountain View Library and Mountain View Town Hall and Performing Arts Center. Super close to downtown for restaurants.

A cute little park that is well maintained, mostly wide open, and has good tree cover on the edges. When Pokemon Go was very popular, scores of people would gather here day and night playing for hours on end (there are several poke stops here). Moreover, you can find lots of families playing here, people on dates and picnics, spaces to relax, and access to downtown. Most importantly, it is adjacent to the library, so check out books, read in the park, return books, repeat. Street parking available during certain hours.

Family friendly park, decent lighting in the evening. There are some odd characters every once in a while (old dude playing the recorder in one spot for 3 hours with absolutely no discernable tune whatsoever?) but any transient homeless people are nice and keep to themselves. Generally well kept and safe and well-populated. Also great for Pokemon Go!

A lovely little park that adjoins the library, performing arts center, and city hall. It hosts lots of events, and has walkways, benches, some trees, and a small Japanese rock garden. Its not a playground, although the library next door has lots of great stuff for kids.

Right next to downtown, accessible to coffee shops and places to eat within minutes. The MV Public library is next to the park, great place to grab a book and lounge on the grass! Good for dogs, no off leash area though.

I come here a lot to Ingress and walk my dog. It is a nice park. There are no bathrooms in the park but the library adjacent to the park has public bathrooms. Even though we have a drought they over water the lawn and sidewalks at night. Sometimes there are mushy spots in the lawn the next day. I have seen yoga classes in the park. Dogs must be leashed. There are no playground facilities for children, its pretty much a big lawn for freestyle enjoyment.There used to be a protestant cemetery on this site and all the bodies may or may not have been moved. Perhaps there is some paranormal activities?

This is a first rate park right behind the Mountain View Public Library. As a mom, I love that there is NO play structure here and the kids have to use their imagination and remain in tune with nature. The child-sized bronze statues by the library exit always have curious kids playing pretend or exploring around. The gently undulating landscape, framed by curving foot paths, accented by beautiful old trees, invites exploration by kids all too eager to freely roam around while parents relax on picnic blankets have clear view of the little ones.In the nicer months, there are frequently events here on the weekend, and of course, the popular Summer Concert Series (for preschoolers) run by the excellent Friends of Mt View Library.

This park is located at the heart of Mountain View city. You can also see the Mountain View Library from here. The park has a couple of benches and a jogging trail. It is green, well maintained, and is frequented by a decent crowd of young people (Most of them Pokemon catchers :P)

A beautiful park in the middle of downtown Mountain View. It is centered between City Hall, Center for Preforming Arts, Library, and the local Masonic Lodge. There is no playground, but there is a Sand Garden from a sister city in Japan. There are park benches and lots of lawn to lay down on. A note of interest - Before it was a park, it was a burial grounds.

This is a great place to walk with my baby. Its also great for Pokémon Go!I must have terrible luck though, because there is almost always someome smoking cigarettes in the park or right outside City Hall, which is annoying since there are always kids and babies around. Kinda sucks to walk by someone blowing smoke when youre holding a baby.

Right outside the mountain view library. Great place to hang out on a warm day. Trees provide good shade and there are plenty of poke stops perfectly situated in a circle that takes five minutes to walk around.

Lovely little park nestled adjacent to the library and City Hall and Center for the Performing Arts. Lots of big trees, thus there is shade during sunny days. A paved path follows along the perimeter, which takes just a couple minutes to circle.

Every time we visit downtown Mountain View, we walk down to the Civic centre and spend some time in the park. A beautifully maintained park with benches for relaxatiob. I have seen people coming amd having lunch or for a picnic.

I always love this park to meet friends or spend some time with family. We usually pick up coffee (and/or sandwiches) from 1oz coffee or Starbucks or Le Boulanger and walk up to the park and have a small picnic.

Grassy and quiet, a favorite oasis just off bustling Castro. Always well maintained with benches and shade as well as sunny areas, Pioneer Park is adjacent to the library, Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mountain View Offices.
