We had a great experience with this the service from this company. The gentleman let us know a little ahead of time before he arrived and was friendly and professional. At the suggestion of a contractor friend, I called Pioneer Door for emergency repairs on my garage door and sliding gate on another driveway after a large company with many contractors who work separately that I had used before would not respond for 4 days. Pioneer responded the same day, were extremely professional and knowledgeable, and the repairs were quickly done. This is a locally owned small business providing full service, sales, and support with his longstanding team of employees. Allen came by quickly when i had problems with my garage motor and was able facilitate a new installation. Carlos was the installer and both were very nice as usual. I have had Pioneer door for over 10 years and they are always the best. i like my new motor with camera and control on my phone. It has a sensor to turn on light any time am in the garage, and that i love. The price is fair and work is good.

This morning Carlos and his helper came to install my new garage door. They showed during the time window I was given.They were both very kind and friendly. They completed the job in 2 hrs. Was amazed by how fast they worked. Carlos was very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Great service from start to finish.Had called two other garage door services before contacting Pioneer Door. Michael was able to give me straight answers on the phone for my particular garage door issues(I have three garage doors). They confirmed my appointment for the next day by an email with a map showing my location. They arrived at the time agreed. Spencer the technician was very knowledgeable. Pioneer was recommended to me from a friend who does a lot or construction. They came out the same day I called. I thought the price was very reasonable, which is a thought that is becoming rarer and rarer lately! LOL. Sergio explained everything to me and took his time doing it (I am older). Our door suddenly quit working so we called Pioneer Door. They were helpful from the start, including the very helpful person who answered the phone. The service tech (Sergio) was sent the same afternoon, and was very knowledgeable and personable quickly identifying the problem. He repaired the broken part, replaced a broken sensor, and performed a long overdue maintenance. All for what we considered to be a very reasonable price. Everyone at Pioneer Door was very professional and courteous. Estimator and Installers were very knowledgeable. My garage doors were very old/original and not symmetrical openings, but they built up where necessary to make the new doors fit perfectly. My concrete below the doors sags in the outside corners (leaves a small gap), but I will have the concrete leveled out to seal it up. Their estimate was slightly lower than another one I got, and Pioneer was much more detailed about the work needed and seemed more competent. I have used them once before for my own home over 4 years ago and all work was great with no problems at all. Would definitely recommend and use them again!

I called Pioneer Door to have my garage door repaired same day. I had used the company years ago and wasn’t sure if they were still in business. On the phone, I was greeted immediately by a helpful associate named Kim and she dispatched her next available technician. Within a couple hours Sergio arrived and assessed the issue which was bad or worn out tension springs. He was very friendly and helpful. Not only did he carry the parts to replace needed but he also recommended to replace the rollers (the small wheels that slide into the tracks). This allowed the door to open the close more smoothly. Called Pioneer as our door was still under warranty and needed a tune up because of some work done to our garage. Making an appointment was very easy. I was given a two hour window, and Sergio our technician contacted me when he was bout 10 minutes out. Almost early for the appointment. Very professional and honest. I have a seal that I thought was not good. Upon inspection from a Pioneer technician it got a clean bill of health. He even explained how to rid my garage of water that’s getting under the door after these California storms.I would highly recommend this company based on their honesty alone. There wasn’t a charge for him rolling up and that’s old school service in my opinion.

My garage door wasnt opening/closing when I came home from work. I had no idea whats wrong with it so I just looked up a list of garage door company in the MyQ app. Pioneer Door was the second one on the list with a high rating so I gave them a call the following morning. Made a same day appointment with Sergio in the afternoon. Sergio was very experienced and professional. He identified the problem right away that one of the springs was broken so the door became too heavy for the motor to pull up. According to the error code (1-5) in the MyQ app, its a motor control error and I thought I had to replace the motor, but Sergio said he would test everything out after changing the springs.He explained to me that these springs were the original component of the door which looked like around 15 years old. He didnt only change the spring, but also changed the rollers, which were also came with the original door and they had no bearings. After changing out the springs, he tested the motor to make sure its still working fine. (Saved me a few hundreds without having to get a new motor)After the installation, Sergio balanced the door, lubricated the hinges and rollers and tighten up the tension of the chain.Im very pleased with his work. We had 1926 barn doors that required constant upkeep & were drafty. So we met with several garage door contractors and received several bids. In the end Alan was the most straight forward, detailed, informed and gave us the best bid for what I wanted. He did say it would be 12-14 weeks for delivery but after waiting this long, what was a few more months. It paid off and we LOVE the doors! The installation was slightly more complex due to 1926 garage not being exactly plumb, but they did outstanding work, were professional and courteous throughout. Even followed up to install some electrical that I had forgotten to request in the original bid. Highly recommend.

Spencer came told me the capacitor is bad, tried a new capacitor it works. Then he gave me different prices for a new motor or unit from cheapest to the more expensive which cost about 1200!! In case the capacitor does not do the work. But was told that most likely it’s the capacitor and the motor is good and will not change anything. Or buy a unit from Amazon and Pioneer will install it, did not ask the installation fee! He did inspect the garage door and lubricate and grease the screw drive! No options given to go with the service! Wrote the service up, charged and left. Warranty was one year on part and 30 days on labor! I asked for a discount but, none!

Pioneer not only that gave me the best quote but they got the job because they followed up from 4 other shops. When they came out they helped me to get my car because i couldnt get the door open by myself. After installation i am so happy with my new door. Professional Install!! Pioneer Door Inc installed the garage door and opener 11 years ago and they were efficient and professional. When I moved to my new home 5 years later, I called them up and they expeditiously completed the garage door and opener replacement. When one of the spring broke 6 years ago, I called them and they came and replaced the spring same day. Today my I called and once again they came through for me. I got the same day appointment with an exact time frame not a typical 4 hours schedule. Not only are they not late to the appointment, they were early. Nick (the repair specialist) was courteous and professional. He completed the replacement fast. Our garage door was making a terrible racket! I called Pioneer, and Spencer was here a half hour later. He recognized right away what the problem was (broken spring). He got me a quote and fixed it as good as new within an hour. He was professional and personable. I’m very happy with the work he did. We will use Pioneer again.

The first time Pioneer came to my house was seven years ago. They were one of three bids and the only one who told me my garage door did not need to be replaced, the problem was with the opener. The one I had was from way before we bought the house, was old and I had no interest in a repair. I was very happy with their proposal for a new one.Seven years later ( garage door and opener they installed still in good shape ), I called to replace the springs. Jared was on time, knowledgeable and clearly explained everything. He even said the springs may have more life and I could probably wait but I wanted to go ahead.Honest, on time and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Pioneer!

I would highly recommend Pioneer Door, Inc. based in Covina. The Staff is extremely knowlegeable, courteous and helpful. They returned my phone calls promptly, shared helpful information to assist me in the decision-making process and were very patient to ensure all my questions were addressed to my satisfaction. The onsite showroom was helpful to view my various garage door options and the team explained the differences between the various options. The Staff was very conscientious with excellent follow-through skills. They did not try to force any decisions upon me and simply provided me with the information, so I could make an informed decision based upon my needs. I contacted Pioneer on Monday at 3:00pm just as Michael had locked the door and was on his way to his car. I asked if they were closed for the day. He stopped to speak to me and pulled out his cell and made an appoint for the following day. He then sent me an email confirming the appointment and stating that the repairman Sergio would be out between 8am and 10:00 am. Sergio called and gave his eta which was before 8am. Sergio took the time to check out the complaint, explained what he needed to do, showed me the parts he need to replace and was finished rather quickly.Pioneer Doors has some very responsible, reliable customer friendly employees.Thank you!

My daughter left for work Friday night and we heard a big CLUNK and garage door would not go up without forcing it. Saturday morning I went online and booked a maintenance visit for first thing Monday morning. Sergio arrived at 8am and took one look the spring was busted. After a pretty quick discussion we purchased a spring and also a new modern Liftmaster garage door opener. What a difference. Professional and quick to get it installed. Answered all my questions afterwards. Sergio took the time to explain all the features. I am so appreciative and very happy with the service Pioneer Door Inc provided.
