Seating inside and outside. Parking is limited when it’s busy. Street parking.Cool spot. Even cooler employees. Didn’t know what to order so we had help from one of the employees. Pizza is so yummy! Thin and crispy.

Visited Ojai for one day with my family so we planned to get lunch here. I ended up choosing this restaurant. I got a pizza, and guess what? They burnt it. Bad service and bad chefs. They also take an automatic 20% gratuity. Worse than those baristas who flip a screen and demand a tip which is over twice the price of the drink. All they did was take our order, so why do they deserve a tip as if they’re serving us? We had to go up to the front to order, seat ourselves, and get our own food. On top of all of this, the food wasn’t even good and it was extremely overpriced. The entire pizza was so burnt, it was borderline inedible. They take tax AND automatic gratuity, and it’s ridiculous. Unbelievably overpriced, and not even compensated for by service, atmosphere, or taste. Overall, do not recommend this place, and probably will never come back. There’s not really anything good I have to say about this place, but if you visit Ojai, eat at a different place.

When we entered around 3:30 pm they asked us if we had an appointment. The tables were all empty but we could not get a table. For this reason, we made To Go the Smoky Coat Pizza and he charged an involuntary 20% service fee for the To Go.The pizza taste was nothing unique. The bottom of the pizza was all burned and the arugula was not fresh.While waiting for 30 minutes for the Pizza To Go, I noticed that he was packing the loaf of bread into a translucent bag with his bare hand. In other words, he is supposed to use a disposable glove or paper to grab the bread. It seems not hygienic.By the way, the restroom door lock from the inside is not working.

Went here for a bday dinner and was pleasantly surprised! We were sat outside and it was a bit chilly but the service was so good. Staff were very attentive and nice, but wish they had outdoor heaters. Now onto the food! Pizza was really good, light and chewy crust and ingredients were fresh. Meatballs were good, loved the butter beans, I thought it was garlic confit. The pistachio tiramisu was phenomenal, unlike any tiramisu I have had before. I would come back for the pizza anytime, good vibes and if you love psychedelic frogs, you will love their bathroom.

The sandwich in the photo is a sandwich we didn’t order. Yet he didn’t even give us a receipt. So we couldn’t return the sandwich. Instead of the price of two sandwiches, we paid 60$ in total for 3 sandwiches. Also, the guy was hurrying which made us feel rushed, unable to talk, and disappointed in general. And yes, what the hell does the sandwich even have in it… honestly worst restaurant in Ojai out of all of them. I’m a local btw. The drinks are hella expensive and as small as a toddler’s shoe.

I have had Pinyons baked good sometimes at beacon coffee and they were always good and sometimes really unique interpretations of traditional danish.Today I went in and tried the Pinyon pizza and was very surprised at how good it was. The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven with citrus wood and was cooked perfectly. The dough had a great fermentation to it with lots of big bubbles in the crust. It had ZERo flop which is my favorite. It was nice and thin and was not greasy at all. A really impressive pizza.

Ate here for dinner the other night and am so happy we did. The food quality and flavors were both immaculate. Such great pizza dough and toppings, and a delightful salad. The service was personable, cool, and attentive. Great beer and wine options to top it all off. One of my favorite places to eat in Cali. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Left this place feeling so tenderly cared for, so wonderfully satiated, and so stoked to see such insane wine and food here in Ojai. The wines slap, tons of underrated and renowned wine makers. The bagels in the mornings are the best I’ve had, and I’ve had at least one bagel in my life for sure. Rad and down to earth people doing really cool stuff.
