Amazing program! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They run a very smooth and informative program. Im excited to take the skills from this course and provide this benefit to patients. The Pinhole Surgical Technique is an innovative periodontal surgical procedure that will be an amazing procedure that I can do on my patients with no pain and no sutures!!! This is by far the best Continuing Education course that I have ever attended.I loved that there were Pig heads as well as cadavers for on hands training. This is the most organized CE course I have attended. It was also so nice to meet Dr. Chao and his staff- they were all so welcoming, helpful and nice. Well done!

Would highly recommend this course and this procedure. Gingival recession is an often under looked at and under focused on procedure but can have important effects to the long term stability of the teeth as well as compromising the oral systemic link. Dr. Chao puts on a great course and the cadaver surgeries really help you solidify the course content. I feel ready to provide his great service to my patients.

This course is truly a 5 star experience. From the instructors to all the support staff. Dr. Chao will have you prepared to tackle your first case with confidence. I cant wait to offer this procedure to my patients who were reluctant to get traditional gum grafting done. The didactic/hands-on ratio was perfect, and it was extremely valuable to see Dr Chao perform a live surgery.

The Pinhole Academy presents a two day continuing education course that is packed with information and, as importantly, hands-on experience. After the initial lecture there is a session during which participants practice the technique on specially designed typodonts. There is a session during which Dr. Chao performs a full arch procedure on a patient in his office, allowing for plenty of over-the-shoulder viewing, or the option of viewing the procedure from one of a dozen high resolution monitors in adjacent operatories. This is followed by hands-on practice on pig mandibles and more lecture information. Everyone then attended a dinner reception on the grounds of the country club where the classroom sessions were held. And thats just the first day.On the second day there is a practice session during which participants pair up and perform the procedure on cadaver heads mounted on the patient chairs on Dr. Chaos office. Back in the lecture room the teaching patient from the in-office demonstration stopped in for evaluation by the participants, joined by the teaching patient from a previous course. During the final segment business issues as well as patient management topics are presented.Breakfast & lunch are provided as well as an evening dinner reception, keeping the class together and on-time in order to provide the most time for instruction. This was a very effective course attended by dentists from Canada and as far as Egypt, making for some enlightening conversations during the breaks. All in all, one of the best continuing education experiences of my 36 years in dentistry!

What an incredible experience to watch this first class Academy treat their attendees so well. The hands-on demonstration what type of Typodonts and cadavers is second to none. I would highly recommend this course to all dentist.

Dr Chao is a wonderful teacher and has developed a remarkable procedure! Pinhole gum rejuvenation will be a very popular topic in our periodontal practice now that we are all Certified.
