Update: the admission has more than doubled, now $5 to get in. Parts prices seemed to have tripled. All locations go by the same pricing index. Other location wanted to charge me $456 for a cracked bumper cover. Extra for license plate holder. Extra for 1 busted fog light & extra for the 18 inch foam insert.----This place is busy on the weekends. They have a large volume of cars and trucks. Its a roll of the dice if your parts are still on the car when you get there. At times they will be stripped to the bone. Also many people will damage and cut things up just to get their simple part. For example lets rip the seats out and break the windshield to get the cigarette lighter. Dont forget to cut the wiring harness. They offer a 90 day warranty program. Bring it back if it does not work or fit. If you do not want to pay extra for the warranty. You better tell them first because they will automatically charge you for it. No more give your phone number and get points for discounts. Parking is plentiful. Just watch the signs off the street because the entrance is tricky. Main entrance is located around the turn in the backside. They do have guys hanging out that will pull your parts for a fee. From the basic to the engines. In the parking lot there is a food truck and a small setup selling wire clothes and some tools. In the back of the lot there is a glass install shop.

If you do not know which exact part you need, do not buy because they do not offer exchanges or returns. And the price to enter is $10 dollars. And they should have a large sign at the entrance specifying that there are no returns or exchanges.

It should be called Gamble to pick your part. Theres no way to know if your part will be on the frame when you get there, they cant tell you, and theyll charge you $5 for just going in to look. My part wasnt there, so the house won! They sold the part I wanted to someone else, and then got my $5 for nothing!

Today was my first day in pick your part location and I learned:The picture of the vehicle is a lot far from the real condition.You need to look for the ubication of the vehicle in the web page because if you ask to the pick your part crew they will point to a direction and you will spend the day looking between about 200 or 300 vehicles.I have not clear how pick your part charges you but next time I need to check twice with the cashier and avoid be asked for the rude guy on the door.The new car alert is a scam!, the mail came days after the car came into the place so you cant find a lotbof parts

In Boston yunk yards are free to go in, and yunk part are more affordable cause its a junk car, but here parts are the same price as autozone and on top of it you got to take it out, 5$ now just to get in!

I really love this place the staff is pretty lay back they don’t really hassle you. I been going for like 16 years now that’s where I learned mechanics.. if I didn’t know how to do it on my vehicles I would go there to practice there first before working on my vehicles.. I always teach my self I find that is the best thing you can do because consciously you know your becoming better and better day by day....

Just a really bad experience, I needed a headlight assembly and saw a touareg at this location so I took it apart and brought it to the cashier and I asked him if it would fit to my touareg, this is from a V6 and mine is a V8 and he said yes, they always work usually there are no returns,. I asked him if I needed a warranty and he said again they usually work you dont need it. So I bought it with no warranty, the headlight assembly fits but wont work, everything inside is different even the light bulbs. I went back about 15 minutes after since I tried to swap the headlight assembly at their parking lot and went back to the cashier 3099 and he sent me to the guy at the gate with the blue hat and he said that there is nothing you can do, you didnt buy a warranty you just lost your money and walked away. Kind of tricky business I will say, you got to check your parts needed end to end before you go if you are not an expert other wise you will loose your money as this blue hat manager said.

Well equipped still well put together cars to find that part thats not made anymore or if you just want o.e manufactured parts and come get and or remove the part you require with your own tools and just a 3 roller entrance fee that goes towards your purchase. I myself am a auto mechanic so this can place can almost be like a playground but dont recommend bring your kids it is a wrecking yard so watch your step and enjoy the hunt for your car parts

And will still force warranty on you even after you inform them you do not require it... On top of everything casher gets aggravated when you ask to speak to manager... Small yard but the prices are on point, and they have weekly sales. youre better off buying new parts with warranty then to get ripped off at this joint. The parts you need are available. Most of the staff are excellent, but it takes one to ruin it. One of the cashiers was overcharging for the parts. They did not match the prices that the website stated.The hand washing stations do not have hand cleaner detergent. For $3.00 for the entry fee plus the money they make from selling parts, there should be hand cleaners detergent. That should be upper management and see why the hand cleaning stations are not maintained.

This use to be one of my favorite yards down in here in SoCal, but it seems to be getting worse as time goes by. Longer lines, less cashiers, cashiers that over charge you, and the system always goes down so they can’t take card. Happened to me a few times where I spend the day pulling parts and can’t pay because I don’t have enough cash on me!Considering taking my business to IpullUPull Pomona from now on. AMAZING LOCATION!!!!! THEY ARE SO ORGANIZED. THE LOCATION IS SO CLEAN. They removed the tires and set them up neatly so that if you want to grab one its just there and you dont have to take it off of the car there are certain parts that are already taken off and placed in the section Ive never been to a auto wrecking that was so organized and clean restrooms were also very clean definitely returning.

Dont come here. They are false advertising on their website. It posts sale dates, but when you go in to pay they say there is no sale. Why advertise a sale when they will not honor it. Their logo is all over the website but they say its not them. What they are doing is unethical and only hurting the consumer. Will not be coming here again. Might as well but the parts new with the prices they have.

I went to sell my car. I called an hour before and got an offer for 500. I went and they did a inspection of the car. I had to go to the checkout window, signed a few papers and got the check. Came out to 615. Better offer then on the phone. So i 100% recommend coming here first before anywhere else. Other places offered me 250 350. I got twice as much at this place

They will RIP YOU OFF. Check receipts BEFORE you pay. Use a credit card if you can. Keep your receipt. The people you pay dont know what most of the parts are. Theyll charge you the highest priced part they THINK it might be. Paying by credit card gives you a record in your bank account and makes refunds (or price correction) easier. No receipt, no refund. They will not reprint your receipt. Even for a credit or debit card purchase.

Theyre okay I guess. I only came here because I struck a giant boulder and needed a new oil pan. They dont honor their online prices and try to trick you into buying a warranty. The warranty is optional but the clerk makes it seem like you have to buy the warranty. My oil pan was SUPPOSED to be 33$ dollars WITH the warranty. He charged me 31 dollars WITHOUT the warranty. He tried to charge me over 40$ for this pan. You see on the website it says 33$ WITH warranty, so not only did he overcharge me but I didnt get a warranty. It may seem stupid over a few dollars but some people really need that money, Im considering disputing the transaction because its a dishonest bait and switch, it should be against the law to advertise one price and then charge a different one. Plus the security guard tried to say I was stealing, things that were already in my bag....

Organization is very bad. There imports are all mixed up. There could easily be a European and Asian section at the very least.Cashiers are rude and upsell you unless you call them out. Ive been coming here for many years and it was a good place to find low cost used parts for your car. Ever since LKQ took over most of these yards the prices have significantly increased and they add even more fees on top of the price hikes. They charge core fees for almost any part now which makes no sense. This is clearly just a money grab situation. I strongly recommend using their app to receive alerts when the car you are looking for comes in. Its extremely helpful so you dont spend hours searching the yard. You can select which yards you are interested in and what specific year, make, and model you are looking for. The app notifies you as soon as the car is available and even gives you the exact location of the car in the yard!! Such a time saver and allows you a better chance to get the part youre looking for before the professional pickers devour the car.

Well I think I just made my last trip to these junk yards. They are selling parts like if they were new. Last time another one of their registers at the pendleton yard charged me for a fender part I told him I wasnt going to take. This time I wanted just a small trim and the guy at the register wanted the price for the whole part at the monrovia yard. These used to be places were you could actually get replacement parts that were affordable. Unfortunately now even when people are out of work they still want to charge an arm and a leg. Not to mention its not two bucks to go in, now its three. This is not a big deal if you could get affordable parts. Not to mention idiots are just breaking things and even if you happen to find a part someone just broke other things for the hell of it. And it seems that some of the guys at the tellers really need some people training.

Sale days are the best. If your on the rewards program they have made it more difficult to get your free entry. You need to wait in line at the cashier too so you can go back to the gate and give them the receipt showing a free entry. Wasted time. Better when they gave you the credit when you paid for your parts. Have only experienced that in Monrovia.

Although I did find a battery, Ive never met such lazy cashiers. They made no effort to locate someone who could assist- and they all congregate in the front listening to Mariachi.Workers...walk the yard..help folks find the correct battery..be helpful. Educate yourselves on parts. I get its a do it yourself, but everybody needs help sometime. Security guard was useless as well, given the large amount of photos of suspected thieves towards the entrance.

The 3 is for overall experience maybe a 4. It is a pick a part the internet was a good help minus the pictures and the car not being what u see when u get there. Maybe the date the vehicle was received would help. Ummmm the bathrooms were nothing to brag about lol porter potties with porter sinks that didnt even have water to wash your hands SMH and a big bummer was not having other vehicle I was looking for. Horrible towing experience. The tow driver had an attitude since he arrived. I moved my car the day before for an easy tow(street outside my house). It bothered him that he had to turn around because he was facing the wrong way. He turned around, I told him I was going to move the vehicle in front of my car back, to pull forward, so he can just pull in front it with no problem. No, the sir, por sus pinches huevos! Didnt want to pull forward so I could move the other vehicle back. He was going to pull forward in front of my car to tow anyways, which he did!!

I bought my mom a new car & I called to see what they offered me for a 2007 Camry se rims and all. It was running too. They offered me a price and when it was time because the car Battery was dead they took 150 off the price. I was mad called junk n tow from Commerce & they offered me the same and picked up my car 45 mins later. I was looking for a set of headlights for my Nissan Maxima and was able to find them at 50% off during the memorial day sale. Didnt even have to take them off the car because somebody else had already done it for me.And the best part is that you can check their inventory online so you dont have to walk the entire yard looking for the car you need. Fantastic time saver. Go to their website, type your cars model in the inventory search box and it shows you the exact location in the yard with even the row and slot number.

Unprofessional service came to drop off a truck, I called for a confirmation number and a quote. The quoted the truck for $450 dollars . When I get there me and the towing truck guy are literally waiting there for 20 minutes. My towing truck guy had the vehicle down and ready, but another towing truck man comes with two cars and the 2 employees are chit chatting in the shade. when the other towing truck guy is done they help him first. We had not been helped yet. I asked once I went to go get my check if their drivers get preference to drop off cars or its first come first serve. The guy asked me why is there a problem ? And I said yes! So I told him what happened, and he stated that yes the guy in front of us was one of their drivers and they do get preference, since they have to leave to get more cars. I was like ok. We ask the guy if he was one of the companys driver and he said no. Who do we believe ? Its very unfair !! I was late to work and I didnt even get the money the told me I was going to get ! I got $235 because they made a mistake, really ? Its not my fault, thats why they give confirmation numbers!! According to the gentlemen who gave me my check he said he was going to bring it up to the manager, I really hope he does ! Because its not fair. They should be supervised!

When you call you get a centralized call center. No service. This place is only for the Junk-Yard pros whos time is cheap. The people I spoke with indicated that a car was placed on the lot that day. When I got there the gate attendant couldnt direct me to the car with any accuracy. When I found it the wheels were gone as were most of the good parts. A waste of time, $5 and gas.

Last time I was there I removed bumper I had to carry it all the way from the back end of the lot to the front and it was over a 100°. I was struggling with the bumper & dying of heat exhaustion and one of the worker got me cup of water no only that but he carried the bumper rest of the way for me. even tried to tip him with cash but didnt take it.

Yard is pretty big and has a descent selection of vehicles. Cars range from domestic to imports and some classic cars. I didnt see too many newer cars.$3 entrance, so make sure to take cash because it doesnt look like the accept card at the entrance.What I like about this place is they have an online vehicle inventory. You can look up the car your looking for and see if they have it in stock, as the same with the other pick your part locations.

Was here April 29th. It was a very hot day, and I woke up on the ground covered in dirt, I imagined I passed out from exhaustion. Dont know how long I was out for, but a supervisor came to help me, he got me water and carried my parts to the front for me, I cant tell you how thankful I am. Thank you!!! Bring ice coldwater at least 1/2 gallon per hour.

Every drive shaft on every vehicle has been bent into a taco shape causing damage to the rear end and transmission. They want full price on these damaged driveshafts. Prices change every time I come back. Theyre getting a little worse each day!

So far so good. I like this Monrovia PYP yard. Easy to use their website and once registered, get the Alerts done too, telling you by your email, the cars, vans, mini trucks or trucks that come in daily. Max is cool, prices are fair to outstanding from prices at non-dealership online stores. No problems finding vehicles in the yard, as this PYP has an online map to look at and some vehicles are spray painted with a letter and number for easy row # and space # for your vehicle search. Portapotties are located on the right side when you walk in, as well as, a setup to wash and dry your hands. Wheelbarrors are on the right too. Bring your own tools.
