2023-12-24 14:32:05TLDR; really good quality food, everything is consistently good.We came here for dinner (no reservations) because my aunt raves about this spot all the time. It’s a small place so expect seating to be tight and to bump chairs against other tables. The food was really really good. We ordered the chicken skewers, bean stew with cheese cakes, mushrooms, the kale dumplings, a plate of pickled vegetables and several flatbreads. The stew, skewers and dumplings really stand out - highly recommend getting these.

2024-03-21 21:47:51Homey environment, like eating your grandmothers kitchen! The food was very tasty: we recommend the mushroom dish (might be seasonal) and the salad was SO fresh and full of flavor. Dont forget a side of bread which was thin and flaky.

2023-10-14 04:00:47What a great and interesting dining experience! Really a dynamic exploration of flavors. For such a culinarily-rich area like the Bay, rarely does a restaurant explore such niche cuisines, and do so in such a resounding, refined and pleasant manner. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, fun and seemed to really enjoy working there and with each other. We ordered the beef and pork dumplings, the lamb wrapped cabbage, and the chicken liver/hearts, with a glass of Georgian wine. All outstanding and I cannot wait to explore the menu further.

2023-11-18 15:50:16OM*G. Hidden treasure. Although it may seem foreboding at first, the dimly lit interior actually felt intimate and cozy. There were fresh flowers at every table. Being unfamiliar with the cuisine of the country of Georgia, we tried a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, with flavor profiles similar to Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Near Eastern cuisines, (which makes perfect sense as it is a country on the silk road.) The cheese and herb pie I could happily eat every day for the rest of my life. We also had dumplings and chicken skewers that tasted similar to chicken shawarma that I make at home, and a lavosh wrap with the same chicken. I want to go back and try a bunch of different things that we didnt get to try this time.

2024-06-13 01:10:26Was there a couple weeks ago. Cant say I was impressed. For what they are charging the food was kind of ok, not terrible, but barely mid. Found the dishes in general to be rather bland, the rabbit stew was boiled rabbit in broth and slightly bitter. The dumplings were good. The service was not great. The waitress was friendly, but not good at waiting. She would literally walk up, ask if f we needed anything, then walk away before anyone could respond. It was incredibly difficult to get her attention. Not once during our meal in which we tried many different things did she clear away dirty and empty dishes. We even stacked things and and put them at the end of the table to make room for the next dishes, and still she left them there. And for an idea of how busy it was... we were the only table when we got there, the only table when we left, and while we were there 2 other tables of 2 came and left. So, not busy. Then when it was time to pay got hit with the mandatory 20% service fee. When I asked if was gratuity she said its a fee that goes to the staff, when I asked again she quietly said yes, its the gratuity all the while the payment system is asking if you would like to add a tip.

2024-03-29 02:20:33Finally, Sebastopol has a late-night go to spot for fantastic food and great atmosphere! This is an authentic Georgian experience, complete with Georgian wines. We love the comfort food here. Very fresh and innovative! The owner is quite attentive and accommodating. I would give it 5+ stars, but the wine list is somewhat limited, primarily offering Georgian wines, which are nice but I would prefer to have some local wine to choose from as well.🌟 They are open until 10:30 pm during the week.We will be back!

2022-12-21 17:19:09Oh, so tasty! Jeff the owner was our server. My two friends and I ordered several different plates and shared. The squash dumplings were a favorite along with the meat skewers and ham with mustard. The mushroom dish was spicy, so I got to eat that by myself. The mushroom pie was flakey and appropriately cheesy and the wine list was fantastic and affordable with by the glass options.

2024-05-11 16:00:41Absolutely love this place! We have gone to two Supras at Piala. They are a dining experience like no other: shared tables creating a sense of community & belonging, endless wine & toasts, an abundance of fabulous Georgian cuisine, and at the end a culmination that results in warm smiling faces, satisfied bellies, new friends and a table decorated with a bounty of used vessels that represent the plenty of the feast. Well done!

2023-05-27 22:17:58Beautifully unique food, great atmosphere. This place is very popular, and with good reason. We offered to move tables to accommodate a large group, and the staff were thoughtful enough to give us free dessert for our move. Well definitely be back!

2024-03-19 22:06:48What a great evening! Our server was very helpful with both wine and food, allowing us to sample the wines on offer until we found one, the Saperavi, that we loved. The food was incredible, too. Cant wait to go back to order the rest of the menu!
