Ive been seeing Dr. Burkhead for several years and I have to say she is an amazing doctor! She is very knowledgeable, thorough and sincerely cares about her patients well-being. She has a very warm and optimistic personality. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming too. I would highly recommend Dr. Burkhead to anyone!

Dr. De Laborde was kind but surprised she had to perform a physical, even though I booked my appointment as such. I normally visit Dr Burkhead whom is very thorough and complete, so I was not impressed with the outcome. Especially since I had a discomfort/bloating in my pelvic area, and asked her to take a look, but she simply stated next time when I come to review the bloodwork she can take a look. I was surprised and bummed as the discomfort continues.

05/07/2024 12:59pm front desk/receptionist hung up on me with no explanation AFTER asking me to hold at 12:53pm, which I agreed to.Found out she had to go to lunch, to stuff her face, so instead of having basic manners this disgusting lowlife just hangs up on people, great! What a wonderful representative for a doctors office, but totally unsurprising behavior, go take a look yourselves at front desk. Shudders.

Dr. Burkhead is a loving caring physician who is generous to share her professional knowledge with her patients. Whenever I visited her in my scheduled appointments, she never rushed and always took time to listen to my concerns and explained her thoughts/plans clearly. I am glad I found her as my family doctor.

Avoid this chain business at all cost for your immigration medical examination. Yes, they are cheap. But their management and efficiency is terrible! They wasted 3 months on my case and always say they are processing. But in the end they told me that they could not find the lab results I submitted long time ago! I cannot review on their other services, but their documentation management and immigration exam is the most terrible doctor I have ever seen.

Terrible system! We dont have problem with Dr. Burkhead, but the whole system is a disaster. We were booked an appointment without any permission in Sept, called and canceled. This month we were booked another appointment, again, without our permission. No one replies email, on one answers phone call until dozens of calls. The front desk was very rude and completely unapologetic about it, hang up the phone in the middle of the conversation.

Dr. Burkhead is very thorough and caring physician. She always spend enough time to explain her treatment plan and advise. Unfortunately its hard to get an appointment with her since she only work at the 1060 Saratoga Ave., San Jose clinic. The clinic needs an IP upgrade as all the medical record is still done manually instead of computer. Doctors prescription is using paper written instead of sending it to pharmacy electronically.

There are now have 2 people at the desk, and the phone goes directly to the Saratoga Ave office. I didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment, which is wonderful. Dr. Burkhead is great! She is very personable and thorough and spent a lot of time with me, which was much appreciated!

Mismanaged, waste of time. I made an appointment to see the doctor at 6PM, when I arrived at six, I am told that the doctor will not see me because they took on too many patients and are too busy or running behind.

This was an initial visit to start a relationship with a new doctor since I changed medical plans. I found the office staff friendly and the doctor friendly, supportive, helpful and knowledgeable. She gave me lots of good ideas and and stressed actions that I can take take better control of my health. She is also the first Doctor who has not approached my my acid reflux as solely a weight issue she took a whole body approach to it and I appreciate that.

This is a terrible place with a terrible system. Firstly they charge you incorrectly, preventive tests are marked as diagnostics. Secondly, you are unable to get an appointment with the doctor for a follow up. So you are stuck. This place is complete waste of time. Please look for other physicians in the area.

Dr. Burkhead is a true physician scientist. She is good at pulling out all the important details of how you’re feeling and won’t make any diagnoses without serious investigation. She will never tell you “it’s all in your head.” She will take you seriously. I felt very taken care of and hope to continue to have her as my doctor for years to come.

Four times trying to contact the Saratoga office and each time reached Jackson office. Fifth time put on hold and after five minutes, I hung up.Next day drove down to make appointments with Dr. Burkhead.Mission accomplished. Able to receive Rx. I love Dr. Birkhead, she is outstanding. She explains exactly what’s going on and what is happening with my body and my health I don’t know what I would do without her. My granddaughter wants me to move to Massachusetts but I said no because I would have to give up Dr. Birkhead and I just don’t wanna do that I love her so much.

The staff is friendly and Dr. Burkhead is personable and thorough. The phone system is awful. You cannot call the Saratoga office directly. All calls are routed to their office in San Jose, where most often you have to leave a message and hope that someone gets back to you. Several times this has lead to delays in getting my medication refilled. So, 5 Stars for Dr. Burkhead and the Saratoga staff, 1 Star for the communications system.

This is a place trying to overcharge patients. We pick its doctor as prime care and supposed covered by SCFHP. without co-pay. After a godd year or two with the facility, It started sending bills several months after visitor and even backed dated for older visit. Contacted (Called) them several time and never had people pick up phone. Left messages without answers. Just keeping sending bills and finally sent threaten letter (for collection). Even went to office without helping.Eventually, file complain with SCFHP and we were told not own them anything. Avoid them if you can .

When I had called them, no one was answering, even left a voicemail, but no one ever got back to me, even to this day. Ended up scheduling somewhere else. Dont even bother trying this place.
