We did a day care at here. Asked a customer service to update our dog’s vaccination records in their system in advance. We had 0 issues checking-in and checking-out. Facility is clean and stuffs were nice.And their price is VERY competitive!

I love the grooming team here, my dog is crazy and Carlos here is the only person who is friendly with my dog. He is the only one I have ever encountered that knows how to safely groom an aggressive dog with a smile and even jokes about it. If your dog is a little on the crazy side this guy is the one for you.

Went in here to buy a Beta and was left speechless when I found dead ones and their water not being changed at all. These little guys get transported from Thailand and near by countries. At least keep their environment clean in their remaining years. I picked the one that seemed he had been there the longest, with the dirtiest water. He’s got a good home now.

Despite calling ahead, setting up the pet profile with Christian, and confirming requirements for our dogs 2-night reservation, upon dropoff our furry friend was turned away based on some arbitrary syntax on the up-to-date vaccination records we provided.The Pet Hotel failed to fulfill one of THE most important functions of service - dependability. For the sake of your time, plans, and sanity, we strongly recommend seeking more professional accommodations for your furry family.

I went there to place a dog that I was taking care of. They wouldnt take him because his owner failed to send records of vaccinations. It seems like a nice place. The employees have a lot of time to talk so it must not be that busy.

This store usually has everything I need and more, always with great deals. Though I have realized after the past few visits, there are very few employees with knowledge of anything to do with dogs (in my experience). Went in to ask some questions about different collars and dog items for a large breed dog and received very little feed back. The cashier, probably no older than 20 had no experience and the other employee had no feedback/recommendations for anything, just a ya that should work or yeah thats a good one and seemed more eager to get back to stocking than really providing actual help. PETSMART should have pet-smart employees, not just kids/seniors looking for a part time work.

They are notorious for subpar conditions and selling sick reptiles that come from breeder mills. I have walked into several to see bearded dragon takes misted up when they shouldnt have a water dish at all in their enclosure (it raises the humidity too high and makes them prone to respiratory infection). They spread misinformation by just having poor husbandry and lighting. This place should really start providing the care and conditions these animals all need or stop selling them. Buy from an actual breeder dont make the mistake of trying to save them all you are just benefiting petsmart by buying from them at all.

I’m above and beyond happy with all my services here. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars! This place (and all petsmart places) makes me so happy! When I check in they know my dog before I even say her name, they know all their dogs and treat them so well! My dog is a very timid and scared puppy. When my dog comes to petsmart she is not scared at all! I’m so grateful for this location. I used to take her outside of petsmart and had the worst experience and was so nervous to try petsmart, but now I leave my dog without any fear because she is being taken care of by the best team ever. Thank you petsmart and all of your employees so much!! I hope this review helps other pet owners and petsmart too! I owe you guys big timeSide note last time I went in I overheard they were caring for a dog even though their owner did not pick him up due to a death, that’s so amazing and brings tears to my eyes!!! Groomers are open at 8am which is super convenient. Make sure to specify with the groomers exactly what you want. Despite coming here every six weeks for the past year and NEVER having his tail shaved the groomer decided to shave his tail completely off and didn’t even finish the hair cut. My dog still had one leg completely untouched when I picked him up and was told he was ready. They’re usually so good but the last time I picked up my dog with a choppy cut and this time they didn’t even finish. Too expensive for the quality grooming.

I found INSTINCT cat food from rabbit here with all the varieties for the wet types & of course they also have tye dry one! Im happy! Very convenient! So i dont need to order it online anymore (which sometimes would be delayed due to my other business or weekends when they dont deliver it until Monday).The store is very close, clean, well stocked and the staffs are helpful & friendly! 👍

In general, I get what I want, when I want and the grooming salon is great and convenient. I have shopped baths for my 90 lb Doberman, Nero and most are $90 to $120, so for less then $70 I get a really decent bath, brush, and all the works. They appeared to always be nice and gentle with the pets. Ill keep going there until as long ast they remain a reasonably priced alternative to the more pricey shops around town.

Review specifically for grooming. Progressively grooming service has gotten worst. Todays visit is my last. They advertise it as 3-4 hours so at 4 hours with no call, I go in to check. Im told that it would be a other hour because the dog the associate was working on was really dirty. What?! Not sure how that even makes sense. There were 3 associates, one grooming and the other 2 just standing around. I was beyond upset. On top of that, staff member Liliana is not nice with dogs. Shes definitely over being a groomer.

We had to put our Ellie into a kennel because of our week long vacation. Our dog had never kenneled before and we worried about her but the staff was very reassuring and said we can call and get updates while on vacation. Thankfully when we got back Ellie seemed very content and happy. This puts our mind at ease knowing we have a great place to put Ellie up in case we take another extended vacation. So for one week it was $375 which was worth it considering it was our furry baby. Located in a very accessible area, plenty of parking so pick-up and drop-offs are not a hassle.

This review is specifically for the grooming department. I made an appointment online for my dog at 9am. They told me in advance that appointment would be done by some grooming students who were learning, which was fine by me. We all need to start somewhere right?My issue was I have taken my dog here in the past and shes normally done in 1.5 to 2 hours. 3 hours max. Today the was not done til a little after 3pm. 6 hours seemed a little extreme to me, especially when I had an appointment. If its a walk in and they took her, I would understand but not when you have an assigned time.I paid $15 to extra for nail grinding to file down the nail. Grooming prices vary based on the size and breed of your dog. My medium size dog is $58 plus tip.

Their “same day delivery “ is a complete joke. Twice I have placed an order, and there was no delivery. The next day I received an “order confirmation “ and checked the status online and the order was cancelled! Do they only deliver when they’re in the mood? Oh and they charged my credit card! The first time I called and they reversed the charge. The second time I just disputed the charge through my card provider.Really pathetic.

Does PetSmart was a typical PetSmart with a large variety of items. It seemed to be bigger than most PetSmart and very well lit with large aisles. They host adoption events every once in awhile with cats and dogs. They have a doggie day care area. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. It might be a little difficult to find it. Google maps took me to the right place but it is kind of tucked in the corner of the plaza so you have to go all the way to the back corner to find it. Of course its a large building with the big PetSmart sign on it so not too much trouble. The staff were friendly and helpful but there werent very many of them.

PetSmart HOTEL - DO NOT RECOMMENDI strongly advise against boarding here. My dog went in perfectly fine but she came out with a 1 chipped tooth and one cracked tooth. I understand things can happen but the conversations i had with people seemed very dismissive.One person pretended to care. They said they would review the footage and ask around about it. That was on 8/24. He said hed get back to me on 8/28. On 9/6 I filed a complaint with corporate. They stated they would reach out to the store and I was supposed to be contacted within 2 days. Today is 9/9 at 8pm, still not a word from them. They either dont care or have something to hide

UPDATE: I wrote this review during the pandemic 2 years ago and things have definitely changed. I take my dog to day camp here once a week and its quick and easy. And he absolutely loves it and is so excited every time we arrive. They now answer the phone in a timely manner and I even left my dog here for 4 nights last summer in the pet hotel and all was well. So, disregard my previous review and I do highly recommend this Petsmart Day camp/day care and pet hotel. Im only taking a star away as they need to have cameras that you can look in on your pet during the day from your computer/phone. Put those in Petsmart and Ill give you the full 5 stars!===================================2020: Nobody EVER answers the phone at this store. I have put my puppy in daycare here and can never get anyone on the phone to check on him. God forbid you use the Pet Hotel. How could you ever feel comfortable about leaving your dog at a place with zero response so you are never able to check on your dog while youre gone? I literally just spent 42 minutes calling every single department in this store with no answer. Finally, at 42 minutes, someone answers and puts me on hold and never comes back. Hire some people here, its ridiculous. Who knows what is happening when you leave your dog. I can only assume there is no supervision and nobody checking on the dogs. Which reminds me that there is never anyone at the front desk of this Daycare either. You have to wait for 20 minutes to get checked in.

Even with a crazy busy store, the overall look was very clean. There weren’t items strewn haphazardly about. It was very easy to find what I needed and where. When I needed assistance, the associates were kind and informative. I was dreading the checkout with what seemed like a daunting 10-15 person line at checkout but they saw this and staffed all the registered and even had someone directing the queue to smaller lines by the registers themselves to ease congestion. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, will go again and would definitely recommend others to go here.

Took almost 20minutes just to get my small order i placed for pickup. I understand that lines were long but acknowledging guests should also be a priority. I waited a good 10minutes after pressing the pick up button up front. Finally went in line just for them to pull an employee over to help me get my order then the employee helping me gets pulled away by another employee for help and walked off. I purchase supplies for my dogs and do curbside pickup. The purchase is great, the curbside pickup needs work. Always at least a 15min wait and the only time I get service is when I call the store to tell them Im outside waiting. These days curbside service is the way to go. Came here with a coupon we received from the animal shelter. The assistant manager helped us select food for our two new dogs. And we spent over an hour in the store shopping. When we got to the register the assistant manager was checking this out and once the transaction was completed he remarked that the coupon was not valid and didnt understand where we got it from. Assistant manager was informed of the coupon when we walked in the door so he was aware of it. But waited until we had been rung up to say that the coupon could not be honored. Terrible grooming place. Absolute nightmare. I had an appointment for my dog today for grooming. When I was checking inn I witnessed abuse on two dogs under treatment. One german shepherd and a smaller bread. Two employee were cutting dogs hair and it was pulling their hair. Both dogs were crying because the cutting device was pulling their hair. The german shepherd was crying loudly and the person in front went toward that poor dog and yelled at him to be quiet. It broke my heart to vitness that and I just told the guy to cancel my appointment and left the place.

I generally dont like going into big chain stores because you can get lost in the shuffle when it comes to customer service, but alas it doesnt happen here. I always receive a welcome when entering and have at least two associates ask me if I need any assistance while spending about 15-20 minutes at the establishment. Even though I know my way around and where things are, its somewhat comforting that they know Im there. Even when some associates are busy restocking, they still ask if you need any help finding something. It just shows they have pride in what they do.

I booked 2 appointment for my 2 dogs online which I received emails confirmation for them then I received 2 separate check in text messages that I completed and sent it back to them. I showed up there and the groomer told me you don’t have any appointment here because the person that you booked with she is on vacation!!!!!!?????? Isn’t it beautiful?????? 1- they did not even take out the name of the person from the system since she was off. 2- they didn’t know the system was sending me confirmation email and messages 3- they didn’t call me to notify me that their system is not working correctly or the person is off. 4- when I got there they were rude and mean and talked to me like it’s my problem and it’s not them. So I want to start or by saying I am a petsmart loyal customer, I own three dogs and me and my family always go there to get our dogs treats and food. Recently I made a appointment for my boy poodle at this Canoga location with groomer Maria and she did great. So I made a second appointment for my female poodle for todays date 1/21/22 and this time it was with groomer Isidora L, I came in a bit early to check in to save time and I finally made it in to the check In no problem it was once I started waiting another person came in to pick up their dog she was very rude to the customer. Then when she finally had a moment to talk to us she didnt want to cut my dogs hair she tried to convince us to just do a wash. We were very upset because this is why we are here, then at the end she didnt want to service our dog any more I would not recommend Isidora L as she made us feel very uncomfortable and I dont think I want to come to this location again just because she has zero customer service.

Took our dog to their day care center for first time, purpose was to socialize her. With staff encouragement she was able to enjoy the companionship of two other dogs in her room. Great report card. Clean environment. Only issue was three cash registers but only one attendant when we picked her up; long line took almost 45 minutes to get her.

This rating is for the retail portion of the store. Ive only had pleasant experiences with the Pets Hotel and grooming services. As far as the retail end goes, customer service is poor at best. The employees that are found on the sales floor never seem to be happy to help. The associates at the registers always seem miserable and are often rude. The selection of goods is fine, prices are decent. Store is usually tidy but could use some deep cleaning in some areas.

We love PetSmart. We boarded our dog here for the weekend at the hotel. Staff was very helpful answering questions prior to our reservation. They welcomed our dog and myself very warmly. Check-in was quick and efficient and they logged everything we brought for a dog. We had the dog in Doggie Daycare and some one-on-one play time. We called twice to check on our dogs and the staff was very nice taking time to update us on what she was doing. When we came to pick her up Sunday afternoon she was enjoying play with other dogs. She got into the car promptly fell asleep and slept most of the rest of the day. She was very happy when we picked her up and obviously had a good time from her stay at the pet hotel.

Purchased a reptile kit for my daughter who insisted on catching a lizard outside. Kept the receipt, the lizard died within an hour and I tried to return the kit that also had a cracked tank. They almost didnt return it, and wanted to give me in-store credit even though I paid cash! On top of that they overcharged me because when they scanned it it was coming up a lower price, they were trying to return it for that price even though I had the receipt. I usually take my puppy to tender touch Grooming in Granada Hills but because they were booked I ended up taking her to Petsmart grooming for the first time. Big mistake. I’m so disappointed. I asked him if I could please just bring in the filter and exchange the filter for the other one in another tank. Edit: I am fostering a wonderful senior dog and he is super slow and sweet. Because they discriminate on breed however, he is not allowed to go to daycare. I work at a local Animal Emergency Room and NEED care sometimes for my dogs and I’m livid that you would do this to our industry. None of my dogs, even the eligible one, will be coming here again.Also, my dog who is allowed here has cut her leg open multiple times ‘mysteriously’ in their kennels. Screw this place.This store is amazing. I drove past 3 others to get to this one because my fearful dog loves the employees so much and has learned to socialize in doggy day camp because of their excellence!! I can’t wait to start their training programs with her also. Love these guys and shoutout to justice in boarding for being amazing with fearful dogs!!

Good and bad things about the pet hotel. All I will say is ill never take my dog here again.. The staff was all over the place and didnt let me know my dog was sick until her 2nd occurance of diarrhea ( apparently the 3rd time they get taken to the vet. Had I not been calling everyday it seems they would have just taken her without letting me know she wasnt doing well. They asked me if I could pick her up early because she was very nervous ( she stayed 3 nights 4 days ) and i could not i was in another state.. when I came to pick her up i waited about 10 mins for a staff member in the front who was very nice and anwsered any questions in detail about their walks and feeding... Also they told me her 4lb bag of food was all gone in her stay but I requested 2 cups once a day, but also told me many times when I called that she was not eating anyway... Which is honestly normal for her anyway, Very reasonable price. Staff was nice. But I dont trust that they are doing things properly and reaching out when its important or when your pet is struggling.

My dog stayed for two days at Canoga park location. My experience was terrible, when I arrived the front desk person seemed sleepy and careless. She had no clue who I was even when she asked my dog name twice, she should have asked for the last name first. She confused my dog with another dog and she checked in for a day camp instead of on-boarding. When I though we finalized all paperwork she mentioned I should pick up my dog before 7pm and I realized the confused us with someone else. This made me loose 30 minutes when I had to catch a flight. When I picked my dog, they were so busy and you can tell overflowed with the number of pets that it took them 25 minutes to bring my dog to the front desk. They overcharged me and the worse part is that my dog was crying when he saw me. He wanted to get out of there immediately. He pooped 3 times like if he was never taken outside. For all the money they charged me I doubted they actually took care of him the way they said. No customer service at all...

OMG. My puppy goes to day camp here. Its awesome. Everyone loves my puppy. My puppy drags me into to store and goes straight to the camp. My puppy does not even want to go home. I do half a day (6 hours) - $16.00 of full play. My puppy does not want to leave. When I pick him up, he wiggles out of his harness and runs back to camp. I have to put him in a shopping cart to get him in the car.Best part is they give you a report card that tells you if he was bad, did he do #1 and #2, who he played with, was he not feeling well. Everyone knows my puppy by name - I am Rustys mom.If my puppy adores them, and they adore him also. My puppy jumps all over them when we arrive. I dont exist. How comforting is that.

They dont even deserve a 1 star.Petsmart has been my groomer for 4 years. The last few months they drop the ball and bad.They re-schedule my appointments over and over again because an employee was hurt, we overbooked, we do not have enough groomers on site today. The last time they pulled this card I made a big deal about it, as I have to take time off and drop off my dogs. The manager was able to accommodate and keep my appointment which was made 2 weeks in advance.In top of all this, every time I drop off my dogs, they do not have my dogs vaccines on file. They ask about them all the time! So last time I mention this and they said: we have them on file no worries!I make my next appointment, I dont take my vaccines because they should have them on file and once again the denied service! They stated my dogs vaccines was due last month. They never mention this when I made the appointment.The inconsistency and the lack of customer care will be the reason why I will not drop my dogs here again! If this is how they treat customers, I cant imagine how they treat my dogs.The interesting fact is that on yelp they have a low score and google is the opposite! 🤔 in addition, I found plenty of other reviews displaying the same issues. Therefore, it seems as if you are completely ignoring your consumer’s needs. Ive been taking my dog here for about 5yrs. The pet hotel is great! But over the past year or so the groomers take almost 5hrs, could never get my dogs hair cut right. Its not like Im asking for anything crazy, hes been getting the same exact hair style the entire time. I always have to ask them to fix it, but even then I end up having to fix it myself at home. Pet Hotel - I do not recommend.I never do reviews but felt this one was important. Wish I could say this was great experience, however from the time we arrived to now as I am writing this post, I cannot recommend the Canoga Park location.First, when we arrived, the staff was not friendly and do not know how to deliver a pleasant message regarding all the policies about a pet staying at their hotel. I rented a suite for my 2 dogs, and they have strict rules that each dog can only have one personal item. Ok, whatever.We paid for camp days, along with the suite because we do spoil our fur babies . I made sure they had their own food, treats etc.Every time I would call to check in, I would be put on hold several times before someone would actually get on the line from the pet hotel. The last call the store manager finally helped me...this took over 25 minute, but I did appreciate that she made the effort.When we picked them up they were just off. Physically and emotionally. Both dogs were upset, and just wanted to get out. One of my dogs cried all the way home. I just chalked I up to the fact we rarely board our dogs, and they would settle back in. However, this really was not the case.One of dogs had major diarrhea that lasted about a week. Not sure if they even fed our food to them or some other food they are not used to.Also, one of dogs had to be taken into the vet for leg injury within about 2 days of picking her up. This cost me $130, but thankfully nothing major. I cant say for sure how this my have happened, but it was coincidental with the stay.Approximately 10 days later, one of my dogs developed kennel cough. Our dogs are not exposed to other dogs, other than when they were boarded. So, now we are dealing with this.All this said, I did have great experience at the Northridge location. Unfortunately, they did not have a suite available wen we needed to book for our trip.Hope I helps other dog owners when deciding on where to board there pets. I know we will not be returning to the Conga Park location.

The worst boarding experience. I picked my dog up after a 3 night stay with a bladder infection and open sore on his leg. When I called the pets hotel after getting home and seeing this, they were unsympathetic and told me it was my fault for not understanding procedure of them only taking dogs out twice in 24 hours, even though over the phone the reservation desk told me that my dog would be able to go the bathroom multiple times during the day. Now I have a vet bill and sick dog peeing blood.. who had zero health issues going into his stay.

Ive brought my Chiweenie Duke to this Petsmart location twice now for a Brush and Bath package and each time the experience has been alright, but a couple of questionable things have come up that might make me think twice about returning ever again.On this go-around, when I arrived, the curb-side pick-up situation was completely unorganized and chaotic. Customers didnt know where to go, who was next, what employee was available...it was a complete mess. Joceline was my groomer and she was nice and all, but very robotic and not personable at all.Joceline rushed me through the signing of the paperwork and the initial inspection of my dog that is supposed to happen when you drop your pet off never was mentioned and never happened. She asked me to remove his collar (which I was not asked to do the previous time I brought him in, so it made me kinda uncomfortable doing this) and his harness so she could put this red leash around his neck to take him inside (also didnt happen the first time I brought him in and made me feel not too keen about leaving him there).I asked Joceline how long the appointment would take and she advised me 3-4 hours, yet my dog was ready 1.5 hours later. And, when I came to pick-up Duke he was just handed off to me....thats it. I didnt get a Pawgress Report as I did before about how the appointment went and when she saw me while bringing out another dog to its owner, she asked if I had paid yet and I said I hadnt. She advised me to get into this extremely long line of customers to pay for his appointment or go online and pay through the app. Since there was 1 employee and 10 customers waiting to check out, I chose to pay on the app. It was a process because I had to add my credit card and all that, but had I been advised that I could pay in advance by Joceline when I dropped him off, then I would have had the appointment paid in full before I got there to pick him up. When she came back out with Duke, she did not ask for proof of payment or anything, she just took the red leash off around his neck and went to go get the next pet to bring in.My dog is basically my child, so when he is treated like a number and the customer service is bleak, it kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the business. And if you offer certain services online and through the marketing campaigns you send in your emails, you should provide those services or advised the customer you cannot provide them and the reason why.All in all, I was not too impressed the 2nd time around and most likely will look for either another PetSmart grooming location near me or another business altogether. Based on the Yelp reviews for the surrounding PetSmarts though, it looks like I will be looking for another grooming business altogether.

Well, it is a pet store. It is the other corporate pet store to Petco. As such, it is unremarkable. However, the staff are fairly friendly and the store is well organized making things easy to find. One large side is devoted mostly to dogs, the other side goes to cats and shares room with rodents. Their are products for fish and birds as well. Pricing is about average in part because being something of a monopoly, competition is sparse. However, it is a large store and should likely meet your pet needs.

Dont have Ana groom your pet at the Canoga Park, Ca location.First red flag when she called 30 mins before our appt that made months ago asking if it was cancelled( most likely trying to squeeze someone in). I wasnt satisfied with the classes and when I went to get a refund the manager (Miguel) had nothing but excuses and lies about how he couldnt do the refund and that I needed to go thru the trainer to get my refund.He also mentioned the trainer(Jennifer) had called and left a voice mail to everyone that went that day for the 3rd class that she wouldnt be going in that day but everyone was still there waiting. Why would they still show up if she really did notify people about her missing!? Since she had missed that day I was asking for my money back.He told me to come back tomorrow cause she would be there. I went back the next day and what a surprise she wasnt there again but the manager (Miguel) was able to only give me part of my money back because I had already attended 2 classes which is not true your entitled to receive a full money back regardless if you still went to 2 classes. I called petsmart customer service and they told me they should be able to give me my full money back, like any other product even if you use it and you open it your still able to get your full money back for it so why would this situation be different. Customer service was able to issue me a gift card for the rest of my money so it worked out, but Im most definitely not returning to this petsmart again, staff is real shady there and especially the manager there only looking out for whats best for them not the customer. I wouldnt even give them 1 star. Especially the manager(Miguel) the guy seem like he couldnt even keep his story or guidelines straight, it was too obvious he was throwing me every excuse he could to not give me my refund. Wouldnt recommend this store location to anyone, management is really poor!!

I love this PetSmart! My Tilly the 2 year old King Charles LOVES the Pet Hotel and Doggie Day Camp! The entire staff is so pleasent and caring and you can tell they all love cats and dogs and really give your pet that home away from home love. I highly recommend PetSmart on Victory in Canoga Park!

I had to select a star but they dont deserve one.Please dont ever leave your babies here for board nor day camp. I left my pup for 2 nights. When I picked him up terrible service provided by the staff, they were super rude and unhappy to be working there, they took forever to bring him out. When they did the person was super rude and careless. I did not realize up until I was in my car that my pup was covered with poop all over (he is a chocolate Labradoodle). The smell was unbearable as you can all probably imagine. When I called them back all they did was say sorry. But this is unacceptable! They did not even try to compensate nor care about the severity of this matter. The receptionist only said, I guess they forgot to clean him last night. Last night?! I highly doubt they clean them at all! So please dont leave your babies here its a health hazard.

I love Petsmart, but its getting really pricey... Even when you buy their own name brand...Update:This comment is in regards to the grooming services. If you have time to waste, come to this groomer. But you will not get your appointment with the groomer you scheduled with, nor will you be notified that someone else will work on your dog.And if you are indecisive about what you want done, and although you made an appointment previously, if the groomer is delicate and has no patience nor the knowledge to explain the services, then you will be out of luck, and theyll move your appointment to a more convenient time for them and not for you... All this, with the pre-set appointment already scheduled.This happened to me, and the only reason I didnt know exactly what to get done for my dog was because, two days previous, I had called and spoken to someone in the grooming salon and they suggested that I just make the appointment and when I came in, to have my groomer help me make a decision...It completely worked against me and they inconvenienced me by making my appointment even later.

They have fast wifi inside in which you can also as catch outside, in the first few parking spaces close to the front door. Its the biggest petsmart that Ive seen so far. I was out of data on my phone and used wifi to catch pokemon!🙃

Just picked up my dog yesterday and now he is sick. We dropped him off with a little more than 5 days (leng th of stay) worth of his dog food and snacks because he has a very sensitive stomach. They didnt give him any of the food we brought even though they confirmed it when we scheduled him and when we dropped him off. Now hes not feeling well. We also had him scheduled for a doctors appointment at banfield during his stay- confirmed the schedule with both the hospital and pet hotel to be picked up since its in the same pet smart. I received an email saying he missed his appointment which I guess doesnt matter anymore since I have to take him to the doctors now.

Their grooming is terrible.I gave it several tries, different groomers and every time I was completely unhappy.Once they cut him. On another occasion I asked for a trim for my Maltese beautiful long hair. It was so bad we had to take him somewhere else and have all his hair cut. I only asked for a trim and they gave him the worst hair cut I have ever seen. They are soooooo bad at their job.Never take your dogs there.

I dropped my dog on 7/17/16 to get groomed and to stay until 7/20/16 with her EAR medication and they lost her medicine and were giving her some other dogs medication.Upon picking her up my wife was told that they COULD NOT find her medicine (Gentizol) and had no logical reason as to why. I then called and asked to speak to the boarding manager (Rochelle) who had no explanation and I was forwarded to the store manager (Mark). After a minute of saying they would refund my money for the boarding, they magically found her medicine in some drawer.When I got to the store the medicine they gave me WAS NOT the medicine I left for my dog, but was some eye medication (Genteal) they said they had been given her and still had no expatiation to were her medicine was.I was told that they keep medicine in a room that is locked and only the supervisor can get into it, but when I was there they went in and out of a drawer that was filled with medicine in no type of order in the front lobby.My poor dog went without medicine for 4 days, some other dog went without their medicine or was given my dogs medicine for those days. UNBELIEVABLE.THANK GOD its wasnt heart medication or anything else as my dog is elderly.Now I have to take my dog to the Vet to make sure she is fine and buy new medicine as I want nothing to do with PETSMART in the future.I noticed that this location has mixed reviews. Im not sure if the management or staff has changed since then but I have never dealt with a more incompetent group of individuals and something should definitely be done.When they called my wife after I left I was referred to as some guy even though were married and I dropped off the dog. They also said they loved playing with him and mentioned how good he was when giving him the medicine even though she is a GIRL.My dog was also scheduled to get groomed before the boarding so she would be clean and comfy while we were away, but they decided it was best to do it right before we came back. We picked her up around 4:30PM and they had to get her from the groomers side where she had been waiting since 10AM.Never have I been more upset. Completely unacceptable Petsmart.If you love your pet, youve been warned.

I really like going to this PetSmart even though it isnt the closest PetSmart to me I go out of my way and travel a bit more to go to this one. They have plenty of neat things for my pets Lucy (Tuxedo Kitten) and Squirtle (Red Eared Slider Turtle) from high-quality grain-free cat food including dry-freeze with many different brands to choose from to large goldfish, superworms, crickets, freshwater canned shrimp to freeze-dried. Everything is also priced relatively well and very easy to find. The employees are also very helpful and are glad to answer any question I have. Compared to other PetSmart chain stores I would rather go out of my way to shop at this store. I highly recommend this PetSmart to anyone!

I took my dog here to get washed and cut and when I picked him up the groomer looked at me like I was a villain and proceeded to tell me my dog had a huge hotspot under his arm and needed to be taken to the vet for it, I looked under his arms after I got home and he had no hotspot, they had cut his hair so short his skin was raw under both of his arms and on a few other spots on his body. I am so angry with the service. I will never bring my dog here again!

I Have Learned from the mgr. who was very polite about the subject not being able to buy a stand 36L 18W 29H which is being sold in the valencia store with the aquarium . which is fine but I didnt need the aquarium. I asked the mgr. did he sell stands in the box to customers Yes he did other sizes fine I said can I order the product and pick it up when it arrives. he said I cant they dont carry that size at this store. We have been customers of the Canoga Park store for 6 1/2 years. We began.with the puppy school, which was extraordinary. The family and puppy learn how to correctly live and work together. Hitting a dog with rolled newspaper is incorrect! The 6 week course concluded with a test, followed by a graduation. It was worth the $100. Alex Pappas, who was her trainer, is now the head of training for all stores! To this day, our dog has retained her training. The doggie day camp is a controlled, safe and secure environment for all day play with dogs of the same size and no vicious breeds commingled. Our girl loves to go to doggie day camp! After each visit to day camp, a Pawgress Report is provided explaining how her day was & who she played with. It is always fun to hear about her experience! The Pet Hotel provides excellent boarding with the same safety & security. We recommend highly for the July 4th holiday. Our dog is very happy & well socialized. We will be forever grateful! Oliver (my special need cat) wants to give Jamie, Brandyann & staff ...4-paws & a tail up!! At first, I thought the staff remembered Oliver by name cause there aint too many cats that go kibble shopping. On a busy weekend, I noticed that the staff actually knew the names of many of the regular furball shoppers.It really means a lot to me that theyd call him Oliver by name with a warm welcome, and friendly check-out, cause Jamie and Brandyann would let him ride the conveyor belt w/the kibbles hes buying.Jamie & Brandyann has really made Olivers kibble shopping experience at PetSmart awesome!!
