Very helpful staff. This location is smaller than others, but we had no problem finding what we needed. They have a goood selection of small animals and all the items you need for them. We bought a hamster ball, food and treats. Great prices and a variety of hamster food. Sign up for their discounts and it will stretch your dollar.

I need to knock some stars off with there return policy. So I bought a fish for 9yr old daughter that she had to have. but the fish wasn’t looking that good to begin with so I asked about return policy. The very next day it died so I stopped by there after work asked them what I needed to get a refund girls tells me sample of water and the fish so I go home and drive back with the fish and the water gave it to them.Then they threw a fit cause they couldn’t test it cause I put them in same container when they never told me to have them Separate. So I’m like forget this store there’s better store around the corner !!! Keep the 6 dollars!!!

Both visits were challenging. First visit the pet tag engraver did not work for about five groups of people. The second visit took about 20 minutes and four intercom calls for somebody to help me get a fish. I just think they can do better.

The fish section was a bit clutered. An item I ordered for pickup in store was cancelled because it was out of stock. But when I went in the store I saw the same item but it was more expensive than online so I passed. A lot of the aquarium plants were somewhat dead but the fish looked like they were in good condition! Pickup was easy and everyone was nice!

I went in there to buy food for my bettas and it was a quick trip. I knew what I had to get, i got it. I looked very quickly to see if there were any Guinea pigs but it was actually empty so I left to the cash register. There wasnt any one in line and the person that helped was very nice and friendly.

The store was clean and well put together. There wasnt a lot of employees there to see if people needed help, only one cashier, and because she was helping a lady that wasnt very friendly, it took a long time. Maybe have at least one other person there that can come up as a cashier, just in case something like this happens.

I usually get my pet stuff from other stores but sometimes I cant find what Im looking for so hence the reason to be here.The store is a decent size with lots of things to keep your pets fed, preoccupied and healthy. I was looking for cat scratch post in case I couldnt dig her old one out of storage and ran into a sales guy. I was going to avoid him but we ended up talking for a good 30 minutes about all kinds of things cat related and he actually had some good advice. Didnt try to sell me on anything either and also recommended a cheap vet with great reviews on Yelp. Pretty awesome.Overall, the store is well kept. Customer service is decent enough. Dont think Ill return though because big pet stores arent really my thing but its good for what it is.

This store is great, I was greeted by the employees and felt welcomed, they are kind to everyone and I dont feel nervous walking into the store. I really enjoy the number of products they have and the amazing prices. I also joined their rewards program not that long ago and I got 2 rewards already. I will continue to come to this location.

Was easy to order online. When I arrived in parking lot I called for someone to bring my dog food to my car. The associate seemed confused and could not find the order until I gave him my online order#, then he brought it out to trunk of my car. Otherwise, all worked fine.

Unfortunately the store wasn’t too clean, but what bothered me most were the fish tanks. Particularly the one holding the Koi fish. It was really filthy and there was nothing in it except for the fish (no plants, rocks, nothing). Kinda sad. Also the betta fish situation is just awful. Shouldn’t sell em. Sorry guys, just being truthful.

We love getting are dog groomed here. Trish is without a doubt one of the best! Our dog has had some traumatizing experiences in the past, but this was a rare treat picking him up while he was in a good mood after getting his haircut. Definitely recommend!

Came here to get my dog some new toys and some dog ice cream for his birthday. When I told the cashier about the special occasion, she told me I was allowed 1 pound of treats free of charge for my little buddy. Friendly staff, huge selection. Ill be back here for sure.

Not good anymore. They are into new food for cats. Supposedly healthy, but my cat hates it. Better to keep him on Fancy Feast than go anorexic on me, and the vet agreed. So after all these years, its back to Target and grocery stores who carry the popular brands.

Great Petco. Its a big store with amazing selection. Very clean and organized. Stuff is always super-friendly and helpful. There are always some pets for adoption: a lot of very beautiful cats and kittens.They also have mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas.There are spider, snakes, lizards, and frogs for sale. As well as, crickets to feed them.There is fresh- and salt-water fish.There is also dog-training on site, full-service grooming, and a vaccination clinic (which they often offer coupons for with a purchase). They also make personalized pet ID tags.Huge parking lot for the plaza, which is not too crowded even on weekends (parking is free).

This Petco is just fine. I had a coupon and I needed to get cat food so this was the place to go since I was in the area.This location was clean and pretty basic. Service was nice. It was pretty easy for me to get the food and get going.If Im in the area, I wouldnt hesitate to come here again for sure.

While checking out at this location I was charged double the amount that was displayed below their product. The cashier didnt like what she found when she accompanied me back to the products to show her where they are so she called a manager named mark. This manager was insulting and rude beyond any tolerance that somebody could take. He was adgimentitive and insulting. When I had all the abuse I could take I tossed the cup back on the shelf and walked away to diffuse the situation. Mark continued insulting me and followed me back to the front of the store insulting me further by taunting me that he was going to give it to me until I tossed the product back on the shelf. He is exceptionally driven to argue and insult. Horrible experience. I will never return. One side note a young lady that spent some time with me going over the products was exceptionally kind. Sad she works in that environment.

PetCo is in a pretty convenient location. Some of the staff is friendly the rest stare at you rudely. They have an adoption section that is run by a different department and they don’t bother to learn how to answer any of those questions. They also told us they don’t handle any of the birds there. So just be ready if you buy a bird from here it will bite and shake anytime they get human interaction. Other than that it had pretty good variety of dog toys and such.

The food was good. Apparently there was calrios friend there when we were there and my friend almost asked her for her number. But didnt. What a fail for my clario super fan friend to be so close to chillin with his idol. But also the the waitress was nice. I also had a blast eating the vegan pastries. It was a nic experience I would love to see them to expand to orange county. I would definitely go again.

Its a large chain pet supply with very little personality. The people are nice enough, but it lacks the community feel of some of the mom and pop places. This location is on the smaller side, and not particularly nice.

Girlfriend and I came to look into adopting a cat. When we got there we were told that there needs to be specific people there to be able to look at the cats and that they wouldnt be coming till the next day at 12-4. So we come back the next day at 12 and were told they werent coming till 12:30... okay well come back in half an hour. When we came back we were told they canceled the day before! So needless to say we were pretty annoyed and wont be returning to this Petco any time soon.

Zero stars, Poor Customer service. I called ahead of time about use of dog wash. I drove 40 minutes from my house with two dogs only to find out I wasnt allowed to use them. They dont allow the use of dog wash on the weekends per grooming departments discretion. I am pissed and wish they wouldve let me know that before I drove out here. The Petco staff didnt seem to care about inconveniencing their customers.

I literally had to call PetSmart in Newport Beach from this Petco location with my questions regarding a specific brand of product. When I did make my way up to the cashier with the product the PetSmart employee helped me decide on via telephone I attempted to ask the Petco cashier for further assistance and she rudely walked away from while I was talking and then when she did walk back she took a call while I was still talking mind you, and rudely said to the other girl; here you take this in a very annoyed manner.I had just been at the Newport Beach PetSmart location the day previous and it was a very stark contrast experience wise as far as customer service, price, selection and quality compared to this Petco location today. For me its personally worth the extra drive to NPB or the PetSmart in Fountain Valley especially when I calculate and factor in the time wasted waiting around and then looking and not finding someone for assistance at this Petco. Save yourself some time, money and frustration and avoid this location if possible. If youre in pinch time wise theres a Target right across the street that will most likely have what you need pet supply wise. This store is beyond depressing and barren.

And lets not talk about the managers, who seems to not be around whenever you need to speak to one. If you get lucky, one might come around 10 minutes after being called from the intercom. Walking in I dont even get a Hi from anybody all they do is just stare and look at my dog like he is a monster. Bad looks no employees asked for help didnt even say a word. It seems like they dont want to be working their. They should at least fake that they like their job. I felt tension going In their. It was so hot my dog was out of breath and thirsty. So we would always take put dog here and they would cut it alright about 3 out of 5 times. This last time my mom took out dog, she asked questions and the girl behind the counter said it was a certain price but then she kept raising the price. My mom was confused because she was never charged this much so she asked to speak to the manager and the girl behind the counter said that my mom was really angry and stuff in English thinking that my mom didnt know English but then my mom stood her ground. She decided to say whatever cut it but its the last time im bringing her. Later that day I picked her up and brought her home which is where we noticed they left her a bald spot in her back near her tail(the picture was taken 2 weeks after the cut), they left her knots on her stomach, and they left her smelling like wet dog.
