Associate, around 12pm a young woman, attended to my order. She was polite and managed the line with precision and a stout plan: polite doesnt even cut it- she was the manifestation of what the check out protocol should be- she asked for my number associated with my account, then scanned my items, asked if i had a coupon or any other discount. I gave her the information, received my proper discounts and was out the door in less than 3 minutes. She had a smile on and could talk with clients all while excelling at her duties.I offer a humble thank you to this associate and the team that trained and supports her.Chris K.

Absolute disgrace of a place. I bought fish and I knew as I was taking them home something was off or they were sick. The way the fish are displayed and animals is disgusting. The beta fish are in small jars and you could see some of them were already dead. The fish displayed on the wall have practically no room for movement and you can see dead ones already on the floor. Evidently, the way the animals are presented do not set them up for success in a forever home. They have been neglected from the start which leads to problems along the way. Do not buy animals from this abusive store!

This place is an absolute gem, especially for those rainy or exhausting days with kids. Whenever my 5-year-old insists on visiting, we know were in for a treat. The staff here is exceptional; they handle my little ones excitement for animal moments with such grace and enthusiasm.Its heartwarming to see how the staff engages with my childs excitement, even when it leads to little screams of joy. Instead of being bothered, they join in on the fun, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.The store itself is like a haven for kids. Theres something magical about it that instantly uplifts their spirits. I was having a great time and then a lady working who told me her name was Karen made a bee-line toward me with a basket and insisted I put my items in the basket without taking no for an answer. I’m not stupid, I’ve been in customer service for years. I was holding 2 items. If she’s Asset Protection, somebody has to tell her that is not how you customer service.

Worst mistake of making grooming appointment here. After 4 days of trying to reach Petco grooming I was finally able to get ahold of someone and made an appointment for my dogs in 2 consecutive days a week in advance. 2 hours before my appointment I got a call from Petco my appointment got canceled due to the groomer calling out sick. I spoke to Petco manager and explained the situation that I will be gone for a month I made this appointment a week before if they can squeeze my dogs both together since one already has an appointment the next day at 9am. He said he has to wait for the General manager to get to the store and will make sure they will give a tomorrow morning before his appointment. Never got a call from Petco tried reaching them several time no answer! The fact that the stores General Manager doesn’t care whatsoever about the time of their customer should say enough. Luckily enough I called De Mar Petco closer to my house and they were able to squeeze me in their schedule where I should’ve gone in the first place and save myself headache and stress.

I was hesitant and reluctant to order the 2 clownfish online and have them shipped. They both arrived today, they were packaged great, well protected. They are doing good.

⚠️⚠️⚠️. the girl was grooming the dog at May 7 at 2:30 Pm she was pulling the dog legs hard in anger and hitting the dog with clipper. she is dangerous to animal dog was black and white in pain and shaking. I told the management they had to talk with her, but she went back touching other animals. She is not safe around animals attention attention to the owners at Petco and vice president. Please do not let this person work there because she is abusive to animals. ❌❌❌⛔️⛔️

We had a hick-up at the register with getting our Petco discount but it was remedied after some time. Lots of options for food but very few for collars. Probably prefer Kahoots.

It can be a little trying to find someone to help, but most of the time they have what is needed.Note to the reptile owners, dont go twords the end of the week, the large crickets usually sell out as the shipment comes first of the week.
