This location is by far the best. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. When you ask for assistance, you actually get assistance. The store is also kept clean and organized.

I would like to complement Petco for having such a great puppy training class!I have been taking my puppy there now since November and we just LOVE working with Laurie.She is such a knowledgeable trainer and always has great ideas to help me be a successful dog partner.We have a pretty wild girl but she loves her Aunt Laurie and is so well behaved for her.Laurie has lots of patience with both of us.Im not sure who gives her more grief but I suspect its me.She works so well with all the dogs.We will continue to attend classes until we get kicked out...hahahaWe just signed up for our 4th package and its a real hoot.If you get a new puppy I highly recommend you check out Laurie!Thank you

Dr. Rodriguez was wonderful. She’s personable, knowledgeable and excellent with animals and humans. We definitely plan to bring our dog Hershey back for future visits. The front desk and vet assistant were great too.

The store hours on Google and within the Petco app show this location opens at 9am on Sunday. I was on my way out of town and ordered food from them thinking they opened earlier than other locations. When I walked up to the door, I was greeted by an employee that told me they opened at 10am so we had to wait. Please update your store hours.

I brought my 18 ½ yo male cat to see if we could get him some relief for his arthritis. The doctor was very helpful and knowledgeable and recommended a treatment. Within hours of injections he is already feeling better. We signed up for vital care which saved us quite a bit of money which is very helpful as most insurance companies will not insure older pets.

The young leopard geckos at this location are kept in a habitat with fine grain sand. Ive pointed out on 5 different occasions now (very politely knowing they have no control over the situation) to multiple different cashiers that keeping them in fine grain sand is extremely detrimental to their health especially when young since they will likely ingest it and will keep them from eating properly and they can develop metabolic bone disease and other ailments. Every time I was assured management would be made aware but after a few weeks with no change I also made a complaint through corporate. A week later (tonight) I went in again to check on them (I dont normally shop here only when kahoots is closed since they take good care of their animals and recently only to check on this issue) I was scolded by a staff member for taking pictures as proof of this issue. This is clearly a very unhealthy animal and unfortunately buying them and surrendering them to a better facility would only encourage them to buy more that will be cared for in the same way. Just going to share this everywhere I can until your store cares enough to give the minimum effort and change the substrate to something not actively killing the animals youre trying to profit off of.

I would not take your dog to the grooming here. When we arrived to pick up our dog no one to be found. Found an employee on the floor who helped us out. When they brought our dog over to us the groomer was apparently back there the whole time. Told the employee to tell us his nails broke. No explanation of what happened nor did they come out to talk to us. Really downplayed the nail breakage. The nail was hanging off and my dog’s toe was all bloodied with his quick exposed. Accidents happen, but to not come out and talk to us was unprofessional.

The cashier/associate was asked by my wife and I if you carried a specific item for our cats. She believed that you didn’t have it in the store anymore but she took her phone looked on the Petco website, found the item and then looked on the store ordering machine and said it’s only available online. We really appreciated that that we didn’t have to drive all over town looking for this item.

Don’t take your puppy here for socializing. I brought my puppy here to get him out sniffing and hanging out at one of my favorite places to go, and was approached by management how I wasn’t allowed to say the words “sit” “stay” or “heel” to my OWN dog?! Because Petco sells training?? So because you want to sell a product, I’m not allowed to try and have a well behaved puppy? But the couple that came in with two dogs on retractable leashes barking at my dog with little to no control from their owner is totally fine. That’s good for business I guess.I came in to buy some fun dog toys and treats for my pup, but I decided to leave after that without buying anything.Horrible shady business practice.

Easy peasy and very helpful associates. Knowledgeable about pets from fish and birds to dogs and cats. There is a vet clinic pretty much every Sunday for shots only but the actual vet clinic is open during the week and I think Saturdays too.

The current state of the store is in utter chaos, making it exceedingly challenging to locate items, and the staff members are notably lacking in friendliness. I diligently combed through all of the cat aisles on three separate occasions before deciding to approach an employee for assistance. However, the gal who aided me displayed apparent displeasure at being interrupted from her ongoing tasks. It is possible that the disarray and unfriendly demeanor could be attributed to potential store reorganization efforts. Nonetheless, this overall encounter proved to be an unpleasant one.

Have had a few bad experiences here, but today was the last straw. I called at 2:15pm to make a nail trim appointment for my dog and Matt set us up an appointment for 3:45pm and received a confirmation text. I arrived at the store at 3:40pm to check in and the same guy I made the appointment with on the phone tried to tell me I didn’t have an appointment and to check if I’m at the right store. After coming to the conclusion, I, in fact, did make an appointment for 3:45pm, he went to grab the groomer, Giselle. Giselle told me she has a difficult dog in the back and cannot cut my dogs nails today after the fact I made and had an appointment confirmed for 3:45pm. Then she said she could squeeze me in and just buff my dog’s nails. I said okay, great. She takes my dog back and in less than 10 minutes returns with her. Without looking at my dogs nails I paid $21 for a nail trim and buff and left the store. I get home and look at my dogs nails to see some were jagged and some looked like they hadn’t even been touched. All to say, a complete waste of time and money and I will not be returning to this store.

There is always something for you pet 🐶 i always leave with a new toy for my dog 🐕 sometimes he know he is getting something when I come home with a Petco bag. First time in this location but it was a clean store 🏪 a lot to find. So many help full people varying knowledgeable in the product that they sell all my questions were answered about the dog food. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and welcome in. With covid going away (slowly) its nice walking in and having interactions with the store and workers. I will be going back if Im in the area.

Extremely disappointed. The only positive thing I can say is that they stay open later than any other self serve. But other than that..I went in to wash my dog in their new self serve baths, and none of the baths were clean from the previous dog, it was disgusting. I was also given a bucket with dirty towels from a different dog. I always take my pitt to get cleaned at a self serve and have never experienced the bath to be dirty or received used towels, I genuinely cannot believe how such a big company could care so less. On top of that they do not restock the shampoos and conditioner. I understand that the soap is diluted with water, but when I looked at the other dog who was getting bathed, it was definitely filled with soap. When I brought the attention to an employee, she did not have the best customer service at all, she was sassy and didn’t even try to look and see if there was soap, she decided to look in the dispenser of the bath that was not being used?? So I basically paid $20 to spray my dog with water. Will not be returning and highly recommend dippity dog down the street, extremely clean environment and nice people.

I have been buying food from PETCO for the last 15 years but realized that the customers are not even valued on the most superficial level.I came to your store tonight at around 7:30 PM to buy a large bag of cat food. I am standing in line behind a customer who was at the register with the only cashier in the checkout and the customer needed assistance.The store only two customers (myself included) in the store. The manager came to the front to assist the first customer which was not an issue. Another employee followed the manager to the checkout area.The issue I had was when the manager was finished helping the customer before me, she and the other employee did not ask if I needed help. I am holding a large bag of cat food and the manager and other employee looked right at me, ignored me and left the checkout.As a longtime customer, how I was treated reflects the PETCO values and its not about customer engagement.I called the manager, a woman with glasses and very short grey hair and told her that I did not appreciate her rudeness, that she lacked customer service skills, doesnt pick up social cues and should look for another job.Sorry PETCO, I will purchase all my pet supplies on Amazon because a mouseclick is much a better shopping experience than a rude one.

His supervisor though was incredibly rude to him and instead of helping with customers on line she just told me the fish I chose was defective and that I should just pick another one while shaking my beta in his container. This Petco is pretty sad to be honest. Its small, dark, the shelves were not stocked and only have more expensive items out on the floor. Cant get anyone to help and the poor girl at the register was telling me, a customer, they dont help her even when she calls, they only come after shes taken car of it. Id go back to see that girl.

When I arrived I met with Maria, she was very friendly and professional and recommended buffing for my dogs nails. He looked amazing when I picked him up, his paws and claws looked great and he had a nice even haircut. I was able to get an appointment the next day and it only took about an hour and a half. I would definitely recommend this Petco groomer.

I went into this location at around 2 pm to purchase a fish, tetras, and waited roughly an hour to receive ANY customer service.Then, I was finally met by an older Caucasian woman who quickly told me that I was misinformed for asking for my desired fish. After about ten minutes of back and forth discussion about whether or not it would be appropriate to house my desired fish with the ones I already own, we both quickly became very frustrated, and any attempts to diffuse the situation did not work.I struggle with a cardiovascular disorder and quickly felt myself becoming overwhelmed. To not sound dramatic, I genuinely, in that moment, feared for my life.But the argument only continued. I was appalled by her disgusting language and accusations regarding the fish I was trying to buy.She then asks me, I kid you not, and I quote, What size tank do you have? she asked me. I said, a 50 gallon tank. And she looks me up and down with a scowl and tells me, YOU look like a 50 gallon tank.I was absolutely appalled. I have never experienced such terrible customer service from PetCo before.Please assess this issue with your staff. I will NOT be returning ever again.

Very frustrating trip with my daughter for a few fish. After my daughter decided on the fish she wanted, we started looking for someone to help us, but no one was around. I walked around the store to find someone to help us. After a few minutes of looking, I found someone who told me she would find someone to help us. I went back to wait with my daughter in the fish department. We waited about 5 minutes and no one showed up. I then walked up to the register area to find someone else who could possibly help us. I waited next to the register for the employee to finish with their customer. When they were done I let them know we needed help in the fish department...he said he would be there once the line of waiting customers was finished. I walked back to the fish department once again. While waiting, two women walked into the fish department to check out the fish. About 10 minutes later the employee that I spoke with finally showed up and asked the two women (who just showed up) if he could help them!!! I didnt say anything because I didnt want to make a scene that my teenager wouldve been mortified by. The employee apologized for taking so long and told the two women that he would discount their fish purchase by 50%...at this point I assumed we would be offered the same discount...we were not! SUPER annoying experience. I understand that the employee probably just wasnt paying attention and confused the other woman for me...but he also didnt bother to ask who had been waiting the longest! Weve had many annoying visits to this store in the past, but this one definitely takes the cake! Please train your employees better!

Store, was well prepared for the reopening during this difficult time. I find it a safe environment and the people are always wiping down every thing 💯 percent safe. Social distance is applied and wearing of mask is mandatory. Great staff in the store. I feel safe to shop around.

After going back and forth with Petco customer service for 3 weeks! I was finally was refunded 2 cases of cat food I didnt order. To top it off the 1 case was dropped during delivery and food spread through case. I didnt have to return cat food but was allowed to exchange at any Petco store. I arrived at Petco spoke with a cashier I was completely honest, she told me go get food i was going to exchange. Came back a different cashier assisted me, and immediately made me aware I would have to pay for the food i just shopped for the exchange. She proceeded to inform me in the presence of other shoppers and cashies I had already received a credit, and very matter of fact told me where to scan my credit card. I told her that I had a different situation and only wanting to exchange. We went back and forth she repeated i cant let you do that at least 3 times and I finally gave up, she wasnt getting it. I felt judged of doing something wrong, people were staring. I asked for the itemsI brought in. She said i cant give it back you already got a credit I dont know when exactly i said this Petco makes Billions of of dollars and pay her how much? (Im sure $47 will no break Petco.) After arguing some more, she finally returned what l brought in. Then she wouldnt let me use extra empty boxes cant let you do that she said and charged me 10¢ for a bag. Dont get me wrong I love Petco and been shopping with them for at least 30 years, I have spent thousands of dollars, I own Petco stock! Yet 6 pm, on a Wednesday after work in Social Work, I was done. This mean young lady had every intention to harass, humiliate and embarrasse me. Came back home to my 3 cats without their favorite wet food.

The aquatic specialist, Brittini, is amazing!! Twice I’ve gone in needing help with tank or fish problems and she has helped me and informed me with everything I needed plus more. Always with a smile on her face, she’s given me reassurance on how to medicate my fish and I leave feeling much better. She could not be any better, she says if we have any questions, to call the store and ask for her. It’s really nice to see such a passionate, knowledgeable, and uplifting employee. A+!!!Award for the aquatic specialist of the year goes to her :)

For the store itself its not that bad, they have all the necessities your pet needs, but the grooming is just terrible. I brought my dog here the other day, and the bath was good but i asked for his nails clipped and when i asked them if they cut his nails they said yes, but when i got to my car, i saw that his nails werent cut at all. HORRIBLE GROOMING SERVICE i paid $35 dollars for them to just take him a bath. next time call a mobile grooming. I WILL NEVER BE COMING HERE AGAIN, SAVE YOUR MONEY. If you ever do get your dog groomed here, just check to see that they do everything they say they will do. Because i doubt they will.

Went shopping for a doorbell for my dog. Actually, as the dog already knows what they are for it is a training device for other people. I also picked up a water bottle and some treats while I was there. I was told by first employee he had never heard of such an item and was certain the store didnt have it. The second employee took me right to them. You know thats why I ask two people. Got the doorbell, it works great, all the people in the apartment are now trained. Next, get the room mates dog to learn what it is for. Thanks!

I love this Petco! The employees are always very friendly and happy to help. A lot of times petstore employees will act like its a hassle to answer questions and are bothered by your presence but Ive never got that feeling here.The prices can be a bit steep but thats to be expected from all chain stores. I bought two mesh cat carriers here and theyve completely changed traveling with my kitties. Normally they would scream meow and get so scared theyd even poop themselves, it was a terrible experience for them and for myself with having to see them be so upset. Now that I have these mesh carriers its a complete 180. Not only can you unzip the top enough to pet them and comfort them, they dont get nearly as freaked out to begin with. I think it has to do with being able to see all of their surroundings. Whatever the reason its amazing and Im extremely happy with that purchase!!!

A worker at this location named Jamie was being extremely rude, impatient and condescending. Generally I don’t like leaving bad reviews because of how damaging they can be, but I haven’t experienced this kind of treatment from a worker in years. A few other workers seemed very intolerant and irritable with other customers, We had gone here three times since we were having fish issues. We had our water checked every time we went, and gotten the approval each time all within a week. Still three fish died, and we weren’t informed of the bad ph levels until about an hour ago. Very displeased with the lack of professional help available at this location.

I get my pets shots here - clinic prices are great. I see people in the store for puppy training and pet grooming. The store is never crowded. Supplies are good - for dog,cat,fish and reptiles. Birds supplies are limited. They have flea control products for cat anddogs. Petco works with localshelter and Ive seen special dayswhere adoptions for cats anddogs. This Petco is clean and staff is helpful. Usually 2 staffers there to serve.

And they were out the the small container of Royal Canine Puppy food I went in for. 😕 So I had to buy a bigger can for a 1 1/2 lbs Chihuahua puppy. Staff was very helpful on the upside

They do not understand that instacart shoppers are shopping for THEIR customers. FYI for instacarters. They are instructed not to help us, and they do not update their stock (found out they stopped carrying the product line I was looking for 6 months ago). I asked for an item that was out of stock and was told rudely that they will not help instacart shoppers. 4 employees told me they are not to help us because we take up too much of their time. One of the worst petco stores ive ever been to, grooming was terrible, waiting 10 minutes for a groomer to even come to the counter and start our service. I paid 80 dollars for my dog to get a bath and get his nails cut, no where on the dog was the fur even trimmed which was the only reason we came in because my dogs fur is too long. After killing almost 2 and a half hours waiting for him to be done at the grooming and we were not even close to satisfied.

If you are a new reptile owner, DO NOT GO HERE,when i was looking for my first lizard (a couple of months ago) the pet specialist tried to sell me every harmful or useless item to me. it was not until later that i found out that the Heat rock that she was trying to sell me, was harmful to Bearded Dragons, i was also getting a 20 gallon tank, for the baby bearded dragon i was going to get, she told me that the baby bearded dragon was not going to survive in a 20 gallon and i would have to get a 60 gallon, i told her that a baby will be fine in a 20 for a couple of months, and was going to get the bigger tank when the dragon got bigger.... she told me... and i quote... (dont come complaining to me when you need a bigger tank).... so i bought the 20 gallon tank... and only the 20 gallon tank...and bought the heat lamps and other things i needed at, other places. and i have never came back to this store...

Bettas do not go in bowls and putting three goldfish in a 6 gallon tank is an absolute no-no. Your employee was incredibly up-front and rude as if I was completely incompetent. No, you cannot put a regular filter on a circular bowl. It simply will not attach. You have to buy a circular filter which sits on the bottom, which i already have.

My first experience in Pup Culture Pet Spaw was HORRIBLE so I took my dog over here a couple of months later, really hesitant to try someone knew. Jordan was amazing at assuring me that she knew what I wanted and my dog loves her! We recently got a new puppy and took her in and Jordan did such an amazing job!
