Five-star experience. From the proposal phase all the way through installation and training. The team got the small things right, listened to things that were important to me, stayed within budget, and delivered on my wish list. They were very detailed oriented, respectful of my things,neat and professional. They dealt with each issue and found solutions, patient with each of my questions, even dealt with frustrating third-party providers such as ATT/DIRECTV to make sure the integration was seamless on my side. I am pleased to recommend Chris and his entire team at Personal Technology. We first became acquainted with Chris Worthington two years ago when we purchased a new home in LaCanada after living at a home in Pasadena where we had lived for 24 years. The last 8 years at that house we used a home audio/tv technology vendor located in Pasadena who is highly rated.At least we thought they were highly rated. We asked Chris’s to meet us at our old house so he could tell us which equipment we should bring with us to our new house. I will never forget Chris’ first question. “ Why are you using an old version of Savant Pro”. I had no idea but was surprised as the Pasadena group had been out to the house on several occasions to pitch a new wi-fi System but never cared to check upgrades for us. I wish we had met Chris earlier as the Pasadena vendor convinced us to move the equipment rack into our wine closet and then failed to account for venting heat coming from equipment. You guessed it- had a dinner party a couple years later and opened a nice bottle of red and found it to be spoiled. We proceeded to open another 15 bottles with same result. Final tally - 40 bottles of spoiled whine.Back to Cris, you simply can’t do better - so don’t waste the time. He had done every thing for us - installed 8 new TVs. Upgraded our phone system, installed Sonos throughout, completely upgraded our wi-fi system by installing an enterprise unit which provides wi-fi well into back yard, installed a sound system in back yard with garden speakers throughout ( highest quality sound I have heard in back yard, and finally Chris’ team installed a Luton lighting system, which alliws us to control both our front and back yards. Most recently we retained his team to conduct an analysis of our home to determine where we should install video cameras. (please don’t fall for the Ring commercials as there are far more reliable and higher quality cameras available and Chris has a wealth of knowledge.Finally, let me talk about his best attribute: CUSTOMER SERVICE. For this category there isn’t a level higher enough to convey how responsive he is. We can call, email, or text him day or night and he will respond usually within 15 minutes. Best example. - at the end of December 2018 on a Thursday evening I was attending pre game festifives for The College Footbowl, game on Saturday. I wanted to record the game on 4 k receivers before the start of the game. And he was willing to meet the deadline however he also advised to delay buying the new ATT receivers as they were causing too many issues.If you are still reading this, respectfully you need to get a new life. But first hire Personal Technology so you can be free of any tech worries

2020-08-09 00:48:33I wanted to add amps to our Sonos system to connect our wired indoor and outdoor speakers. Chris responded within minutes and we scheduled a day for him to come to the house to consult on what was needed. He was prompt, courteous (wore a mask the whole time), and quickly sent an estimate for the work that needed to be done. The amps were on back order but when the arrived, he contacted me for installation. Sam was sent to install. He was equally courteous, prompt and professional. Their services are well priced and work was done exactly the way I wished. I highly recommend Personal Technology for your technology needs.

He listened carefully to what I wanted to accomplish and developed a comprehensive, sensible and fairly priced proposal. His installers, Sam and Dakota, were friendly, thorough and professional. They covered all surfaces well so that there was minimal dust or mess from installing speakers in the ceiling or drilling through shelves. The installation was expertly executed, and the guys took time to make sure I understood how to use the Sonos app. All in all, it was a great experience and I’m thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Personal Technology.

Ryan and Hawei (spelling might be wrong) were extremely nice, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. They went above and beyond to make sure our new wifi network was better than ever. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any tech work on their home!

2022-11-01 13:13:55I’ve worked with Personal Technology over the last 2.5 years on a very comprehensive system that includes cameras, audio, video, streaming and a gate that is all interconnected. To top it all off, the house was a redo so there was a hot mess of existing nonsense that had to be assessed, integrated and some of it junked. We’ve continued to build on the original system PT installed and they have ALWAYS been super responsive, reliable, knowledgeable and most of all PATIENT! I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Our entertainment system had become pretty outdated and dysfunctional, so Chris did a top-to-bottom review to streamline the components and wiring as well as to take advantage of the latest smart technology. He was great about assessing our needs and use case and didn’t try to sell us things we didn’t need. The installation couldn’t have been more professional. Paul did an exquisite job of setting up the components in our entertainment console in the most efficient configuration possible, and he and his colleague worked neatly and left our den in pristine condition. Then, he gave us a detailed, easy to follow tutorial on how to use the system’s features. He was patient and clear and made it simple. We are already enjoying our vastly upgraded entertainment experience. We highly recommend Personal Technology!
