Hey there! I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Harris and their incredible staff team at this medical facility. After my accident, my attorney referred me to their top-notch chiropractic, physical therapy, and patient care services, and I have to say, they were terrific. Booking appointments was super easy, and their friendly and welcoming nature made me feel at home. My first time here went extremely smoothly and somewhat quickly! The facility itself is extremely clean, well decorated, and very much up to date (a modernized look). The lobby is a little small but well decorated. The chairs in the lobby are also comfortable and the walls are a very comfortable/calming shade of blue. The staff were very polite, punctual, and nice. It was my first time so I didn’t know exactly how long it was going to take. It ended up taking about 1-1.5 hours. Parking is a little tricky as all the parking spots are paid parking only. On my 2nd visit I was able to find free 2 hour parking across the street but then had to sprint/quickly walk across the busy road. Just make sure to accommodate the extra time to find the free parking when making your commute. The doctor himself was very professional and personable. I really felt like a new person after being treated. Overall will definitely recommend to all friends and family!

I cant say enough good things about the team here. Ive been receiving treatment here after a motorcycle crash, with injuries across several areas. Aside from having all of the fancy equipment to treat all the things, they are extremely knowledgeable and pragmatic about the anatomy and treatment. No fluff, just wellness.Ive seen both Harris and Golan. Both are excellent, and both have given me a much better understanding of whats going on than all of the trauma doctors at Cedars combined.Jenny, Susie, and all of the other staff are wonderful too. Jenny is the absolute best face to see every time I walk into the office. First impressions are everything so it’s really nice to have that at every visit. I’m a big fan of Dr. Nissim as well. Subtly comical and great at what he does. I highly recommend them for chiropractic care.

I hurt my back and was in a lot of pain. A coworker recommended I go see Dr. Nissiim and I’m so happy that I did! After my 1ST visit I started to feel a bit of relief from the pain. Each visit there after my back has continued to improve. Dr. Nissim is extremely friendly, personable and above all knowledgeable! I highly recommend you make your appointment now if you’re in pain, you won’t regret it! Oh, and his staff is wonderful! Very nice and accommodating!

Ive been receiving chiropractic care and physical therapy since early November 2023. I was in a car accident on 10/31/2023 and suffered injuries. Dr. Stephanie Harris is an awesome chiropractor and PT doctor. She cares about her clients and is always so easy to work with. Great energy and always upbeat. She makes the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I absolutely recommend her. The front staff is always friendly, particularly Darryl. The assistants are excellent, particularly Susie, who sets up clients in the rooms with the appropriate care that Dr. Harris sets up. Kevin and John, the massage therapists that I dealt with, are fantastic with deep tissue massage. Performance Care is definitely at the top of the list for physical care.

I’ve been A patient of Dr. Nissan over 22 years. I cannot say enough great things about this man. About 18 years ago, I slipped and ended up with a moderate tear in my meniscus (leg). MRI said I needed surgery, but Dr was able to repair my knee in 2 to 3 visits. I’ve never had to have surgery. He’s just amazing.He doesn’t believe in just cracking your bones like most Chiro’s. He uses ART (Applied release technique) form of chiropractic care. Very hard to find others using this technique. He very kind and really cares about his patients.

This facility has the feel of a health spa. The female receptionists are extremely polite & professional, they treat you like your part of their family & you feel right at home when you check in. The Chiropractors are top notch. I come in feeling sore uncomfortable & in pain, I always leave feeling much better, with more movability compared to when I arrived. I haven’t visited a chiropractor in 25 years. I thought I knew everything about what to expect.I. Was. Wrong. The attention to body movement and positioning is a science; and I’m tired of people saying it’s not.My own extraordinary lack of tension and relieved stiffness and mitigation of pain tells me all I need to know about the veracity of this particular area of care.I’m a believer. Where do I even begin? In November, I had an elbow fracture that made mobility and daily tasks incredibly difficult. I found Performance Care through Google Reviews and began seeing Dr. Zhang. He is an incredible therapist who was honest and forthcoming from day 1 about what it would take to improve my elbow. During each session, he was methodical about the treatment plan and exercises. He constantly switched up the movements and encouraged me to push myself.Most importantly he’s incredibly well- versed, kind, and intelligent. He cares for each patient and goes out of his way to ensure the best care is provided. Thanks to his treatments, I was able to see immense progress and regain mobility in my arm. I credit my improvements to Dr. Zhang and his care. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and kind.

Dr Nissim has been a lifesaver for my marathon training. Using ART, shockwave therapy and cupping, he has all but solved my two chronic conditions that were causing me so much pain. I have gone to other practitioners in the past but no one has been as helpful. And the staff is amazing!

I did get some marked improvement. That said, I had mostly been seeing a therapist that seemed decent. She did some deep tissue massage of my shoulder for a few minutes on various sessions which is why I favored her. The tech was ok, but it was mostly the same three exercises (with one time where I did some wall presses). My surgeon said to make sure not to go to a place where they give you mostly the same exercises every time because that wont help your range of motion. I made the mistake of not popping in to see PRIOR to committing to therapy at the location. My surgeon told me to do that and if they have very little then that is probably not the right place for me.Cut to around 10 sessions in, I was informed the therapist was leaving (only because I asked to get on her schedule). Honestly, this was a blessing because I decided to move on. My injury is pretty significant and will require at least another two rounds of pt. I found a place and not even five minutes from my house. They were booked up through the end of this year (around three weeks) and told me next year there were openings in Jan. After they saw my injuries and some banter with the scheduler, she fit me in the same week 2x. My first appointment was a full hour and fifteen minutes. Incidentally, this place is very busy so, this was a favor, and I am grateful. There are around 8 therapists on their roster. I did around 55 minutes of therapy and the rest was a quick evaluation (also around 10 minutes paperwork). The next session was a full HOUR. Turns out this place is one hour sessions. I was miffed so I called two other places in the area and they were also one hour! Performance Care only offers 30 minutes and I think this is not a benefit to someone that does not have a more basic injury. I would endorse this place if you have more basic and likely one round of therapy type of cases. I broke, tore and dislocated my shoulder. I needed/need intense hour sessions that turns out to be the norm. This place has limited equipment. Let me wrap this up in a nice simple bow:POSITIVES:- Reception (as I type this is) is really accommodating and pleasant.-The therapists are very easy going.NEGATIVES:-You get half the time you get elsewhere-Limited equipment/small space-The tech was constantly typing on the computer and paying little attention to my form. I had to ask quite a few times if I was doing something properly. The place I went to after does not have ANY computers on the floor so, the attention is to the patient and not the screen.I would add based on the response that I did get ONE therapist that comes over and watches your form on everything for the first few minutes of each exercise. I also had a private room for manipulation and privacy.

Its funny because before my last session, Id been trying to figure out how to review this place. The front desk staff is so friendly, and so are all of the people who help around the office, but my bigger issue is with Nissim. When I first came in, I was in horrible pain from a genetic condition that Ive had my whole life. It causes muscle injury with no rhyme or reason. Despite knowing this, during todays session, my third, I was repeatedly pressed about what I was doing wrong to be causing my worsening pain. Im sorry? It wasnt my fault that the past 2 sessions prior had left me in the same or worse pain than when I came in. If you dont understand my condition, or are unclear about whats not working, ask me questions about it and well discuss it. Dont make me feel like its my fault for having an excruciating genetic condition.If Ive told you in the past that I do XYZ to manage my pain, and its in my record, and Ive told all of the staff about it, Im not really sure why Im being told that my non-existent failure to do X or Y is whats probably causing my pain. Also, repeatedly telling me that stress is doing it once we re-eliminate everything else over and over in the session is inherently stressful.I already wanted to cry from being pressed about how I must know why Im in pain and how its my own actions putting me in screaming and crying pain upon waking up in the morning. Ive had plenty of doctors who dont listen or understand my conditions, so I had just quietly made up my mind not to come back. Yet, somehow, it got worse. I dont know how the conversation became him pointing out that I was still a child and in college. Ok. Im almost 22 and a mom, so Im definitely not so young that I need to be spoken to like Im 12, but Im an adult and was willing to just suck that up since I wasnt returning. Then he made a comment about how the way I painted my nails meant I was a child. Decorated like cue balls from pool. Theyre the first nail design Ive loved and picked out myself since I was abused. Nearly 2 years ago I was completely stripped of my identity and physically tortured in my own home. Ive only recently found the strength, with a lot of therapy, to begin expressing myself freely in small ways again to rebuild a sense of physical identity, starting with things like my nails. I wanted to do something that felt fun, and I waited till New Years to do it to make it easier on myself. Having Nissim bully me for my nails felt like taking 10 steps back in therapy. I ended up calling some older adult friends and family and double checking if exactly what he said to me was crossing a line, and they agreed that it was.If youre telling someone every time you see them that their stress is causing their pain, why would you tell them that theyre a child and bully them for their nail choice less than 5 minutes later? You dont know whats happening in someones life, or if theyre really struggling. Youre supposed to be helping to heal peoples bodies, not criticizing their nail choice and expressing your judgements of someone. If you dont respect self-expression, even in its smallest most insignificant ways, own that and dont open a practice in the heart of LA. Try Texas or Florida. Theres great business for you there. I dont doubt Nissims skills and competence. I just wish he was more thoughtful.

My experience here was good until one of their physical therapists quit. The week before he left I was randomly scheduled with him even though I had previously been seeing Kevin. The next week I then got a call from the office that both my appointments were cancelled because they were with the now gone therapist. I told them I never was supposed to be booked with him in the first place and the scheduler assured me that the following week I’d be back with Kevin. I then get a call the next week saying I’m. Not with Kevin and am with the new therapist but now the appointment time won’t work.I own a business too and I get that staffing is often out of your control, but to be lied to multiple times about who I was scheduled with and when even after “assurances” was too much for me.

Dr. Nissim and his team are the top! I have chronic lower back issues and so there are some months I come in regularly and sometimes I wont come in for a few months. I found Dr. Nissim by looking for Chiropractors who specialize in Active Release Technique / Sports Therapy as this really is what has helped me maintain a pain free lower back. The new office and parking is great -- love a complimentary valet and the inside is spotless and modern. While I wish I didnt have chronic issues - it makes coming in worth it when you everyone is so happy and looks like they enjoy being there. I think that is a true indication that Dr. Nissim not only treats his patients well but also his staff! I cant say enough good things about this office.

Dr Nissim is a GENIUS! When I couldn’t move my neck and the pain was constant, Dr Nissam fixed me in two sessions!! When I ruined my ankle playing tennis, I hobbled into the office and walked out like nothing had happened! When I’m super active I see him more regularly to keep things in check, and when it’s off-season I see him when I have pain or immobility or some kind of injury. Ive been going to Performance Care since Feb 2022, so not quite a year, and have found it to be a really safe space to rehabilitate my frozen shoulder injury. The physical therapy team there is knowledgeable and kind, effective in their treatments and work within your boundaries and pain thresholds, while still pushing you to progress a little bit each week. I appreciate that, and especially want to give a shout out to Ron who is exemplary in what he does, and how he has managed my care. I came to Performance Care Sports Medicine after chronic back, hip, and leg pain that was impeding my ability to work. This pain, along with chronic migraines, had gotten worse over the course of years and by the time I did my first PT evaluation with Dr. Wilson, I could barely walk. In my evaluation, she listened to me, immediately understood what my problems were, and created a treatment plan for me that day. Ron, who handled my physical therapy, was always encouraging and helpful, and he gave me a gameplan of how to take our sessions home that allows me to maintain and build upon our progress.Dr. Wilson also recommended I see Dr. Nissim, who ended up diagnosing me with scoliosis. I continue to go for adjustments - I feel better every time I see him and were able to work on any new concerns I have as they come up, before they become larger issues. I am able to work again and I spend most days without pain. Another unexpected benefit of the treatment is that my migraines have decreased to 2-3 a month rather than 2-3 a week.Lastly I want to say that as a large person, I hesitated seeking out treatment like this, because I was worried that they were going to tell me that my problems were all related to my weight. After learning about Active Release Technique in an article about Dr. Michael Leahy, the pioneer and inventor of this seemingly miraculous healing method, I called his Colorado office wanting a referral to a practitioner in the San Fernando Valley. Dr Nissim Golan is very talented. He has helped me so much when I have suffered a knee injury during a Marathon Training and is putting me back in shape now after a motorcycle accident.Six weeks before the LA Marathon I suffered a bad IT band inflammation. I could not even walk. I was so upset because I had been training for months and felt it was all for nothing! But I started going to Dr Golan very frequently. I did a lot of therapy in six weeks and he always told me to try to keep running if I could. I finished the Marathon thanks to Dr Golan.

For a person with an already damaged low back, I had a really bad fall and ended up herniating my L5 disc. I was in a lot of pain and it was almost impossible for me to even cough or laugh without crying. I was under the care of Dr. Par and his assistant Ron and I must say that I am really really glad that I chose Peformance Care for my physical therapy sessions. This is probably the best that I have felt all year with the regular exercise and PT sessions that I received at Performance Care! My back is about 85% cured and I am well on my way to healing completely. Thank you for the execptional care!
