Tonya and her team were terrific, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, persistent, amiable, upbeat, etc. Tonya was very responsive when we had questions and patient with us in helping to fill out the unending paperwork. She also knew who to bring in for assistance (eg legal, repair work, etc). We recommended her to two of our neighbors who then selected her to represent them in selling their property (successfully).

Tonya pulled a real estate bunny out of her hat for me. In reality it was her skill and expertise that landed me my home. I had been trying to buy a house in downtown Ojai for about 3 years. My price point seemed always to be 100k off the mark. Then she placed me with a seller who gave me the rare opportunity to buy her home. And I did! Or, we did! Tonya and Ashley made the process so smooth and eventless. And they helped me get a team together to address inspection notes and make repairs. They were gracious, kind, always available, knowledgeable and generous. This team made a dream of mine come true. The Tonya Peralta team is very, very good. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tonya Perlata, a name to remember. Tonya was our real estate agent for simultaneously buying our house in Lakeport CA and selling our house in Ojai, CA. That double duty required a real estate agent that has lots of experience, knows her stuff and articulates all the information to you clearly and timely. Tonya juggled all the logistics beautifully and held our hand during the two-headed process. There was so much information coming from every angle, we so appreciate her attentiveness to all the moving parts of buying and selling and then some. I cannot say enough great things about Tonya and Rachelle. Tonya and her team have now helped us sell 2 homes and purchase 2 homes over the last 8 years and we never make it easy on them. This time we decided to sell and purchase during a pandemic. With working from home and virtual learning, Tonya and Rachelle put a plan into place to sell our home with the least amount of disruptions. We listed on a Monday, went out of town over the weekend while they hosted 15 showings, and ended up with multiple offers above asking 7 days after listing. Unfortunately purchasing a home was not as smooth, but that because we found foundation issues 5 days before we were supposed to close. They helped us get our earnest money back and navigated finding us an even better house for an incredible deal. The resources and connections they have in the industry make the process so much less stressful. We highly recommend the Peralta Real Estate Team for buying and/or selling your home.

Rachelle and the team are incredible! When we began looking, I loved that I felt zero pressure to rush into anything or pick a home quickly. Rachelle was happy to look with me, analyses options and wait as long as I needed to find the home that was right for my family. My wife and I needed an experienced agent to help us navigate the turbulent real estate market. We met almost a dozen different agents through advertisements and open houses but never really felt sure about any of them. So we kept looking and, after a strong recommendation, we met Tonya. Immediately we both felt that she was fantastic. She was timely, organized and had excellent knowledge of Ventura and Ojai. If fact, she was surprisingly very familiar with every listing we asked her about. We had been passively looking at the market for months and knew we wanted to be in a home before our first child was born. Tonya expressed her compassion and truly dedicated herself to help us within a tight timeline.With a due date around the corner, we had more stress than usual in our lives trying to get everything together in time. Tonya’s responsiveness and professionalism were exactly what we needed. She always responded to calls and texts promptly. She would take the time to walk us through the process and any questions that we had. We were in good hands when hurdles arose (and they did), and that made all the difference in the world.One of the things I really liked about working with Tonya was her candor. My wife and I would be mesmerized by a particular property’s view of the valley and Tonya would be pointing out the rot in the subfloors, code violations and drainage issues. This was extremely helpful because we did not want our newborn to live through home renovations.During the pre-buy inspection, Tonya referred us to an extremely thorough home inspector. I say this because this home had fallen out of escrow and our new inspector found many additional items that the previous inspector left out of his report. Tonya also had a number of great recommendations for the various specialties we needed (sewer line inspection, electrician, etc). Every one of these service providers was as professional and thorough as she was. This really helped to put our minds at rest.We knew we had made a great choice in our agent and our new home.
