Rico is a stand up and great mechanic. He took a look twice at my trans on my Chevy Colorado. Rather than charge me $500 for a flush and filter change he was able to find the issue with the muffler. He could’ve gone about it many ways but I would highly recommend his shop for transmission needs. He cares about the customers coming through

Rico was extremely helpful and patient in helping me decide what the best course of action would be to repair my car. He had fair prices, straight forward answers, and was very accommodating! I would highly recommend this shop to anybody.

Rico was very knowledgeable in his trade. He helped fix my cars transmission computer problem very quickly. He also helped me understand what he did and how it all works in the car. I cant recommend him enough! Rico really is the person you want to see if youre having a transmission problem.

I purchased a vehicle with a transmission from this shop. Owner would not give me any information about the transmission just trying to see what kind and what they put in the vehicle. They told me I had to be the owner of the truck to get the information even though I am the owner of the vehicle now was very hostile, rude, and mean over the phonewould not recommend anybody purchased or go to this place

These guys are amazing — super knowledgeable, very good at explaining technical problems in terms I could understand, and very honest. With a problem they could not fix, they refused to charge me anything even after they spent hours of their time and paid for a part to attempt a repair. Highly recommend!

I have been working on cars for 45 years and I would trust no one but Rico at Peninsula Transmission to work on my cars. He is BY FAR, the best in the business. I have 4 cars and he has done an excellent job on everything I have had him do to all of them. On top of that, he is the fairest priced mechanic in the business. I would HIGHLY recommend him for all your automobile needs. A very nice man and very capable staff. Rico is the very best. I wouldnt say this if it wasnt true. No better shop exists.

Francisco Rico was recommended to me to check my car’s transmission. I came in to see him, and I couldn’t be happier. He is courteous, friendly, helpful and honest.I would recommend him to anyone.

I brought in my car because my driving gears were slipping. Francisco diagnosed it and told me there was a leak in my transmission resovoir. He advised me that the solenoid block was the issue. He didnt try to sell me on a new, used or rebuilt transmission which was greatly appreciated. He fixed the leak at a reasonable price. I appreciate the honesty and the great service Peninsula Transmission did and would definitely recommend anyone there. They also do more than transmission related work.

A transmission shop run with integrity and exceptional customer care! Rico is thorough and dedicated to his expertise. He was recommended by my mechanic and he is also registered with BBB. He stands by his work. His employees follow his example. He has a champion team.
