Great little Bay Area gun store. I’ve bought two guns from this place and other accessories. I’ve been given a deal on everything I’ve bought here. Their onsite gun smith is quick and great at what he does. I had an issue with my rifle stock and he figured out the issue quickly and even bore sited my rifle while he was at it, all in store in the matter of a half hour. Respectful and friendly staff is also a plus. I’ve been to this store many times and have seen people from all walks of life be treated with professionalism and courtesy each time. Wait times can drag, but that’s to be expected in a small Bay Area gun store. Highly recommend.

Everyone is super nice and has great senses of humor! They are super busy and they still know people’s names which is really impressive. I also really appreciate a handful of people taking the time to greet me or chat while I was waiting.Anyways I swung by there since my FSC expired, I took the test and made a purchase same day. Came back 10 days later and picked up. Nice and easy.Definitely coming back when I save up for another one

I have purchased a few firearms from the store over the past few months. I highly recommend this store over other big-box sporting goods stores like Bass Pro or Sportsmans. The prices here are likely a bit higher than you might find elsewhere, but I think the selection, service & convenient location make it the best choice for anyone in SF or the peninsula. The staff at Peninsula Guns are knowledgeable and process orders/pickups quickly. This store has lots of demand/customers so I would recommend arriving early in the day if you intend to purchase a firearm.

I probably should have posted my review much earlier as I go here quite regularly. The team is awesome and this last purchase I had the pleasure of dealing with Sal. I was in the market for a new rifle scope for my .270 tikka t3. Even though the store was quite busy at the time, Sal took his time and answered all of my questions and offered great recommendations. I felt like having him work on my rifle put me at ease because I knew he puts care and pride in his work and the background knowledge he had on optics/scopes. When I received the rifle back, it was spot on with eye relief and everything about it felt like solid work had been done to it. Big thanks to Sal on this purchase.I have bought several guns from this store and each member of the peninsula guns team has treated me with the utmost respect and offered great guidance and knowledge no matter what I was in the market for. I know for sure this won’t be my last visit to peninsula guns, I’ll be back boys!

Shoutout to RJ!Shoutout to RJ, but the whole team has been very helpful! This was my first time buying a weapon, so I just went in for information. It was a bit busy at the time, so I just looked around. As soon as RJ finished helping a customer, he helped me right away.He explained to me that I needed to take a weapon handling safety test, which could be completed immediately. After the test, we checked out some guns and told me there was a 10-day waiting period. After that, he showed me the Blue Label Program which is available to federal law enforcers/military and it came with a discount! The staff also showed me possible mods for the gun I picked.Overall a great experience, and will check out other weapons in the future. 5/5 stars, 6/5 stars if there was a range close by!

As a first timer, I was a bit afraid of going there after reading some of the reviews here. But I decided to give it a try and make my own opinion. I am so glad I did, the whole experience and service was so friendly, polite and professional. It could not have been a better experience. I spent a good hour there on the first visit, passing the safety test and then being shown and taught about a variety of weapons. They didnt push any product, and took the time to explain things and how I should rely on my own preferences for picking up a firearm. The whole process felt really comfortable and educational. I ended up going for a Sig P229 Elite, and after going home and researching more online about it, I felt that I really did the right choice and was fantastically well guided throughout the process.Returned yesterday to pick up the piece and extras, and was again super well received and helped with all my new questions.Thank you to everyone there, really A+ shop and people!

This has become my go-to gun shop. Sal is the man, but everyone in this shop is excellent at what they do. The prices are awesome and the more you buy the more you save. Came in on a busy Saturday (everyday is busy, it’s a gun store) and even though they were slammed, I was able to get my Glock Gucci’d up while I waited. The staff rocks, everyone is very pleasant and knowledgeable and there isn’t the usual air of pretentiousness that you get in most Bay Area gun stores. I feel welcome and am greeted as soon as I walk in. They will give you excellent guidance not just tell you what they prefer. It’s refreshing to get such good customer service from such a busy shop. Seriously, I’ve been to them all and this one is the best. I’ll be buying all my guns here from now on. They are very skilled and speedy armorers as well if you need work done on your existing firearms. Can’t wait to buy a bang-stick from these fine folks!!

I bought a shotgun and some accessories from these guys. My wife has previously bought a handgun from them.Previous handgun experience:- Everything was nice, except the fact that they were kinda annoying about not letting me in with my wife. Eventually they did.Latest shotgun experience:- Their prices are about 10% higher than other shops I tried, but they had the exact configuration I was looking for. Also, they are just much closer to where I live.- The 3 times I came here for my purchase, I’ve seen horrible wait time once, and no wait times twice. Weekdays are better to be here.- Inside the store, I found everyone to be quite nice. Wes, one younger guy, and the lady inside helped me compare a few models.- On the last day, Sal helped me pick up my gun. He introduced some accessories that I wasn’t planning on buying. I didn’t like the initial price but he dropped the price on those and I ended up buying some. This made me feel like I could have negotiated a bit on the gun as well. It was indeed about 10% more than other retailers.Overall very nice. I’ll be back for more guns and ammo.

EXTREMELY RUDE GUY ON THE PHONE. I called to ask a few questions and dude was laughing at me like I was stupid. TOLD ME TO MOVE TO TEXAS. YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER WHO WAS GOING TO SPEND 2000 on a rifle!!! LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS PGT!
