Beautiful hotel and my view room was very nice, my bed was comfy and overall very clean.Sadly I have to say the service was not good enough, we had to wait long time to get our breakfast, I was very hungry and the restaurant was not crowded, the berries in the side of fruit were rotten.I traveled with my two children and the second night we required some sheets to set a new bed for them, we called three times and we didn’t receive them till 11:30 pm, we were very tired from the day so we waited to receive them and finally go to bed.If the service was a little bit better this could be the best hotel ever.

Im a little ashamed to admit I havent reviewed this gem sooner. With four fantastic stays under my belt, and another on the horizon later this month, the Pendry has become my go-to spot in Los Angeles.The entrance itself sets the tone. Tucked away in a charming courtyard, it whisks you off the bustling street and into a welcoming European-style haven. The rooms are consistently impressive, regardless of floor level. Merois is nice and has some wonderful food, I have only eaten there once, the first-floor bar is a fantastic place to unwind and socialize.Honestly, I look forward to my Los Angeles trips, but the Pendry itself is a major draw. They also boast a top-notch spa thats an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you wont regret indulging in some pampering here.

Smelt like boiled dog fecal matter inside my bedroom. Not complaining i just thought a hotel such as this had dog fecal facilities. Turns out it doesnt, only cups for the animals to hover over your hand while you hold the cup for them to defecate into. Thanks.

Perfect location in West Hollywood and safe area.The rooms are very spacious, bright and clean.Our stay was perfect minus the parking that cost 70$ per night.. and no parking around the hotel.. so that’s your only option.

Speaking from someone that stays in hotels 100 plus nights a year this has to be one of my favorite hotel brands. Great location, with lots of restaurants options around. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and little to no noise. Staff were all helpful and extremely nice made us feel right at home. The rooftop bar was great with amazing views. Highly recommended staying here.

For sure one of the best hotels in L.A. county. Not only is the hotel great but the location is very safe and pretty much the best what West Hollywood has to offer. You can’t compare WeHo to Hollywood, it’s so much cleaner and safer.I can recommend this hotel and the staff. The views are superb and clean. We will come back.

Absolutely phenomenal, perfect location, beautiful views, great pool and restaurant, staff goes above and beyond. Wed like to give a special little shoutout to Allan, Merois sommelier and beverage director, and Phia at the pool for making our stay extra memorable, they both went out of their way to accommodate us and our teenage son. Weve stayed in many different nice hotels in LA but will from now on return to the Pendry over and over. Every little detail feels genuinely luxurious in design and execution, the food and drinks were delicious, I really cant come up with any even minor complaints. 10/10

My group and I (5 people) stayed at the Pendry over the weekend for 2 nights.Ill preface that we booked via credit card as we had a premium pricing based on the card usage and not booked directly with the hotel.The hotel location is great, right in West Hollywood and walking distance to some staples like Chateaux Marmot and Comedy Store.Its also a walkable distance to Beverly Hills if you are okay with a longer walk (30 minutes).Location and look wise the hotel is great, management wise not so much especially when it comes to costs and expenses.Roughly 3 days before we arrived - our friend that booked the hotel was charged 8,000 USD on his credit card from the Pendry. We were not told about this and no email was sent, he just saw the charge on his credit card.For context 2 nights at the Pendry would be 2,500$ USD so the 8K was even more appalling. We went to talk to the manager as soon as we got there - there was a lot of confusion on what happened - eventually she said she would sort it but it had to go via another team that was not present.It took our full stay there to get it sorted (the full 2 nights).As a courtesy, they offered us either 1 daybed (there was 5 of us and we had booked 2 rooms) or some food with champagne.Because, we had booked with a third party, there was a 100$ voucher per room (so $200 for our group) to be used towards anything at the hotel. We decided to use towards breakfast for the group. The total was $230 so we expected an additional 30$ - once we got the final bill there was 300$ additional fees, there was a lot of taxes charges and fees that it would have been great to know ahead of time. We asked for a detailed breakdown and we found that they hadnt applied the credit properly (they also said the breakfast was $270 which maybe it was a mistake on our side). When we told them, they did apologize and refund part of the amount that we were entitled to with the credit.It felt a bit of a rip off to be honest especially for the price we were paying and for such a high profile hotel. Because of all the transaction we ended up losing around $400 just in conversion rates. We likely wont stay there again but the bar/restaurant stuff was amazing.

I stayed at the Pendry this past weekend with my wife, kids and my kids friends for a birthday party. In the morning, our SUV had died (battery). We needed to be somewhere quickly and also needed to deal with the possibility of towing the truck back down to San Diego. The concierge could not have been more kind and helpful. I wish I had her name to thank her again, but misplaced her business card. She even called me on my way back down to SD to make sure we were getting home safely. I also wanted to thank the valet person, David. He was also just so kind and generous and volunteered to help during the entire ordeal, which was very stressful. You all really went above and beyond and our family appreciates it very much. Best to you all.

If you want a nice place in WeHo. Not here. We had trouble with our Amex. Finally got it to work. The next day trouble again. Tried a different card but only 400 available on this card. Tried to work on it. Manager she was rude and kicked us out because we couldn’t pay the 200 dollar incidentals. By the way incidentals are charged at 200+40 a night. 1400 in incidentals for a week.

This is now my go-to hotel for staying in the west hollywood area. The rooms are perfect, views from either side (hills or city) are perfect, the entryway area is very convenient for being picked up in a car, the rooftop pool is heated - everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing visit.

I’m a fan of the Pendry brand, I’ve stayed in Pendry Hotels in several different locations. The hotels have a luxury aesthetic, The West Hollywood location is no exception. The property is beautiful, the room I stayed in was had gorgeous views as well. The staff was friendly overall, I had a few challenges that were addressed successfully by management. The location is within walking distance to many high end restaurants, shopping venues and entertainment. The Comedy Store is located across the street from the hotel. I recommend.

My friend stayed at The Pendry West Hollywood before getting married recently. I bought a bottle of champagne for them after receiving a quote from the Concierge, and filled out the form online they provided me. I never received a receipt, but the payment came out 2-3 weeks later and it was 100 USD higher than what I was quoted. The Pendry West Hollywood misquoted me & fraudulently charged me and have since ignored my emails. They were very quick to respond earlier when I was buying something..... Im quite disgusted by this and not what I expected from this establishment. I have tried & failed to dispute with my credit card company because their form I filled out essentially says I am unable to dispute any charge to my card in the small print, which seems extremely corrupt. They essentially scammed me and I would not trust their business practices.

Wow, a girl came here from the airport! She is from Korea and has YouTube channel. She was with her mother and photographer. She decided on less jackets and warm clothing and more sun protection (eyes). I dont know where they went from here!

I want to say more about this place, as I went to the Sunrose for a show. The hotel bar, thar looked awesome, closed when we went directly down afterwards - was closing. It was barely 10:15. The bartender reminded us that that it was a Wednesday night, but the spot is little, I mean t-i-n-y. Im not sure that decision on a show night is wise. Other folks were looking to hang as well.

After what seems to be grave financial difficulties and a distress sale to new ownership with new methods, they shut down the Britely, a once cherished private club, and fired the staff overnight. Now they are dragging their feet refunding members. Pathetic!Honestly, I used to like this place. Now, it disgusts me.

Staff is nice, hotel is beautiful (common areas) but I feel like they put all the efforts on the lobby. The rooms are very basic. Also, if you’re going to charge $500 a night, the least you can do is not put $2 toilet paper in your rooms. It’s pretty much sand paper. Rooftop is nice. Area is very convenient and close to Beverly Hills (if you want to be close without paying 2k a night at the BH Hotel or Beverly Wilshire).

Great hotel. Wonderful restaurant, rooftop bar, and ground floor cafe with bakery. Service is wonderful including room service. The chicken noodle soup that I ordered at 11 pm arrived piping hot in the room. Facility was clean throughout. The bathroom was gorgeous. We also enjoyed the beautiful bar next to the hotel lobby. Really wonderful stay. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the hills; it was quite a challenge to leave the comfort of the room to explore LA. Convenient to the Hollywood Bowl and the various museums. The Comedy Store is across the street from the hotel. Also love the glass/mirror sculpture in the lobby. Thank you!

Take care of your belongings more than anything at Pendry!I stayed in Pendry on February 11th, 2023 with a couple of friends of mine. Everything was nice and went so well until our last day in the morning close to the checkout time.Early morning, my friend and I decided to visit the Spa, enjoy the amenities, and also get ready before we checkout.I went into the steam room, and once inside the steam room, I realized that I had two gold bracelets and my Daniel Wellington watch.So, since I was already in, I just placed all three inside the pocket of my robe hanging out the steam room. Was nobody else at the Spa because was early. We stayed for around 20 minutes. I took a shower right after and started getting ready inside the locker room area. We started driving back to San Diego when I remembered my watch and the two gold bracelets. We called the spa the same day a few minutes later, and they said they were not there but promised to check inside the room. I am certainly 100 percent sure the gold bracelets and watch stayed inside of the robe pocket, and the voice of the person over the phone brought me confidence enough to not drive back the same day and do something to find them, I mean, we were at Pendry. They promised to check and reach out to me if anything. I also tried calling later, and after speaking with the Security Director, they said my belongings werent lost and found and havent received them. They just washed their hands as Pontius Pilate blamed the laundry services THEIR HIRED because they never reported it. I dont think they even called the laundry services and verified it the items were there. I even drove to West Hollywood a few weeks after to see if there was any information or if they found it but nope they just said the Director would contact me.Yes, he called me, but just about to say the same. It is a High-Class Deluxe Hotel I am pretty sure more guests with much more expensive watches and bracelets stayed in. The thief is either at Pendry or at the Laundry Services. Watch out for your Stuff!

Pendry West Hollywood is a little nice comfy but luxury hotel with a really nice rooftop and with and I’ll saw customized customer service. During my stay in LA I enjoyed pendry the most. I have literally nothing to complaint about. Everything was at point. We had dinner at the rooftop and breakfast on the first floor restaurant both were exquisite. Rooms are not huge but you get a luxury feel even inside their smaller size.

Beware the hidden fees (yes, they’re real) and the fact that the hotel is really at the 4 star level in terms of quality (which you’re paying 5-star prices for).I have never been to a hotel that flatters to deceive to the extent of Pendry West Hollywood. The hype and underwhelming final product is perhaps appropriate for its Hollywood location; even the pool is fake - it is literally a foot deep but the website makes it look swimmable - I don’t think it’s physically possible to even drown in this pool, which surely should count as a (small) fountain.The hotel has spent a lot of money on some aspects (eg, the exterior, which they market the hell out of) and cut corners on others; the lobby is cheap and uninspiring (I wish I took a better photo but note how small the space and low the ceilings are; they depend on the gimmicky art piece to distract customers), the hallways outside the rooms are extraordinary ugly, and straight from a motel. Likewise, some aspects of the room are nice (eg the bathroom), while others a insultingly poor quality: the furniture is incredibly cheap, wardrobe is from Ikea (there is no closet), the chandelier is straight from Taobao (and the same as the neighboring 4 star hotel which you can see); the carpet / area rug is already fraying despite the hotel being relatively new.The roof restaurant has average food and also overpriced, but this might be par for the course in West Hollywood.Positives: the staff were professional, particularly the doormen/valet, and we had no issues with cleanliness.Bottom line: It was a massive disappointment to pay $570 a night (after fees and taxes) for an above average hotel.

What a fantastic and most enjoyable place to stay at. Check in was a breeze. Rooms are beautifully appointed with oversized showers and excellent water pressure. Beds are best I have slept on in my entire life... absolutely perfect! Gym is extremely well appointed by hotel standards. Very importantly all the staff I encountered were extremely polite and down to earth. Big shout out to Adrienne at concierge and Erica in management. Would like to see a Hawaiian pizza option at Ospero and a cheaper steak option and a chicken schnitzel/parmigiana option otherwise the food was excellent. Cant wait to return!

Excellent rooftop pool and restaurant at the Pendry West Hollywood. One of the first places I went out too when the pandemic was easing up. Beautiful views of the LA skyline. Excellent interior design of the property and the food was really delicious with good presentation. But it was the service as always that made a lasting impact. Walking past the pool to the restaurant and bar is the existential Hollywood experience. Can’t wait to go back again.

Fantastic stay at a great property. Everything is new, fresh and modern. The staff is well trained, welcoming and very prompt. At most hotels over the past few years, staffing problems have a significant and negative impact on guest experience but they are doing it right and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved our room and the iconic view of downtown LA. Food was also great both in the restaurants and room service. I was not familiar with the Pendry brand and chose it because its part of the Preferred Hotel network. Theyve made a fan out of me and I will definitely be back!

We LOVED our stay at the Pendry. The room was excellent; clean, spacious, nice view, and the water pressure was strong. We got complimentary cake, and a bottle of champagne because we were celebrating a birthday. The front desk even left a card with a nice note inside, too. That brings me to the next thought; the staff is amazing! The check-in was easy, and they also helped me coordinate surprise flowers for the room. On top of that we were also able to check-in early (12pm) and got a complimentary upgrade to deluxe king, skyline view, as well.Other notable features were the pool views, and the gym was very nice. The food at Ospero was delicious. We had eaten at Merois before, but we dined here again and ordered the Peking duck, which is exquisite (melts in your mouth, and crispy skin). The décor as a whole is perfect; California, modern and chic.My only negatives are that there is no hot tub at all in the hotel, the pool cabanas were expensive, and also limited seating at the pool.

Its been exactly a year since I stayed at this hotel and it still permeates my mind! This hotel was the one that converted me back to hotels and away from Airbnbs! The Pendry was simply amazing. The hotel is beautiful and though its boutique, it didnt feel extra small. It felt grand! The staff was super friendly and accommodating and it made me a Pendry fan for life! We booked another Pendry stay in New York and again, simply wonderful! If you have it, splurge on this fantastic hotel. Its beyond worth it!

I want to preface this by saying I LOVE hotels and I’m also extremely picky about them. The Pendry Hotel in West Hollywood was one I came across last minute and had reasonable rates in the best location. My favorite hotel chain has always been the Montage but the one in BH was taken over by another hotel. I’m very loyal to the hotels I love so I was sad to hear about the Montage closing; it felt like kismet when I checked into The Pendry to discover it’s a sister hotel of Montage. This is now one of my favorite hotels ever—no doubt my favorite in LA. Although things like location, views, food, amenities, etc are all incredibly important to me when choosing a hotel, the most important aspect of a hotel or anything in the hospitality industry comes down to the people who work there. Not only does the Pendry have incredible rooms/suites, location, views, food, and amenities, they also have my favorite hotel staff I’ve EVER encountered. Somehow the people who work there manage to make you feel like you’re actually checking into your own home (a very luxurious home at that). From the fresh juice served daily at the front desk to the genuine warmth I was greeted with by EVERY single person working there the second I checked in, I knew The Pendry was and is going to be my (along with family members) go to hotel; I will be staying exclusively at The Pendry from now on! Luckily I’ll be back with my mom in September!The amazing people who work there never fail to go above and beyond and to put a big grin on my face despite it being a stressful trip. The staff was so great that I now genuinely want to work there—simply to have the pleasure of working with such an outstanding team. Everyone from Eric (hopefully I’m remembering his name correctly) who brought me up room service every day, the maintenance men who brought me up an extra fridge I could store special medications I have, Angel and all the other infinitely patient people at the front desk, to the extremely hard working pool attendants—all 11/10. I want to give an EXTRA SPECIAL shout-out to my favorite concierge ever, Adrienne! She is not only incredibly hard working and so good at her job that she made everything I needed happen so seamlessly well, she also is someone I could have talked to for hours—she has a great sense of humor. Adrienne is one of my favorite parts of The Pendry! She was even kind enough to give me some tips that had helped her with TMJ pain; Adrienne also gave me the name of her own doctor after I mentioned I was looking for a specialist. The other concierge was also so lovely (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name). It was great to get to talk to her and know her a bit better too! I don’t think I’ve ever actually gone online and written a review for anything in my life but The Pendry—more specifically the people working there (that make The Pendry as great as it is) deserve major recognition! I chose the Pendry for my first vacation to LA as the Baltimore location was awesome. I am happy I went with Pendry WeHo. The staff were excellent from start to finish! Shoutout to Carla and Jay at the front desk, and Adrienne at the concierge! Top of the line customer service and interpersonal interactions! Make sure you hit up Adrienne for recommendations of things to do around LA. Shoutout Chuck for his LA Guided Tour service.Be sure to try out Merois and Ospero. Both restaurants are available on site. Both have excellent bars. Shoutout to the servers and staff who work breakfast at Ospero! Exceptional service.The Spa Pendry, gym, steam room, rooftop … all excellent.When using ride share be sure you put in Pendry West Hollywood, not the address. After spending over 100 nights at this hotel over the last 2 years, we returned (with the plan of staying for another 35 days) and were given the worst room in our category overlooking the parking lot where everyone could see us in pajamas while checking in. We politely asked to move us to a higher floor, but were denied unless we paid disproportionately more per night. A simple gesture of gratitude for the amount of time and money we have spent over the years at the property would have been greatly appreciated, in particular as our last stay had a problem which caused us real financial damage with the concierge not following instructions and leaving our rental car on the property for over a week without anyone letting us know. The manager Connor on duty smiled at us telling us that we could then easily change hotel without even trying to find an alternative. So we changed hotel and we will never go back nor recommend it to anyone ever again. I wanted to share this unpleasant experience so that this does not happen to anyone else. What a shame, we really used to like staying here and we happily moved to a new property which will become our new home away from home while we are in LA.

I sensed a bit of racism and prejudice for our dark skin color. The front desk manager refused to help us check into our room. Yes, I’m from out of town, but WOW this place is divine. Like, I felt rich and fancy and famous just sitting at the bar overlooking the gorgeous city lights and rooftop pool. All of the staff members were very friendly! Because most of the hotels we viewed online did not hold up to their pictures, we were skeptical. However, upon entry to our room, we were very surprised! Mr and Mrs Fussy Pants ….. we stayed here for three weeks in JAN 22 and again in JAN 23. Love it ! We have a suite on the 8th floor and it’s just so quiet. Our balcony is perfect to feel the LA winter sun and watch the antics in West Hollywood. The valet staff are just so professional, we don’t need to be pampered five times a day ! They park our car perfectly in line with the Centre section. Nothing is a problem. The restaurant Merois is superb with a killer view of LA. Pretty from afar, but up close, it’s a big ‘ol mess. I had a wonderful experience at Pendry San Diego, so naturally, chose the brand again. To be fair, the reception upon arrival was lovely; staff was professional and friendly.My room was spacious, clean, and chic. I had a problem with the bathroom sink. The cold water side did not work. When it came time to wash my hands, I used the hot water side and ended up hurting my hands. Maintenance said it was because the valve was turned off and turned it back on. After about 30 minutes, I returned to the bathroom and there was a puddle. I immediately switched rooms. The same problem was in my new room but there were 2 sinks so I managed.The rooftop restaurant & pool are very tight spaces. If you are not early to the pool, you won’t get a lounge chair. There are day beds for purchase, however. I had to do that. The service was appalling. Long wait times and forgotten orders sealed Pendry’s fate. I can’t in good conscience stay here again.

But what really sets the brand apart is the service - every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, professional and made you feel that they appreciated you being there. They were all so fantastic.Dont get me wrong, this place is not for everyone. If you want an over the top pool scene, this is not your place. Its a cool scene, but its a pretty small pool. And if its busy, you might wait a little while for a lunch table on the roof or a drink and table at the 1st floor bar. But if you can overlook those things, you really should give it a shot.

The receptionist quoted $200+ over my current rate, oh well, I asked her to double-check. She dropped it by $100, still higher than what I believed I was paying. When I returned and showed her, she said after EXAMINING my phone, oh I guess we can honour that rate??? Yeah because I can book it right now for that on my phone... More often than not hotels don’t live up to your expectations. In this case, it was the opposite. Clearly service businesses are going through a difficult time right now staffing and service can be noticed. It was unnoticeable at the Pendry. From check in, to the pool, to the service of our large group at Merois, everything was exceptional. Some of my favorite things were the large rooms with a couch and oversized shower. In the morning at Ospero you can have your choice of a sun spot patio table, or outside patio on sunset, or choose to be inside at there bar. The staff is friendly and unobtrusively accommodating. The clams (photo) over done to the point of chewy - my tooth crown fell off that chewy (maybe wait staff let the meal sit too long), oysters opened again too early when they served it, they tasted warm and have no idea what type of oysters, Unagi and avocado was good but not amazing, the salmon was meh like a standard sushi place.Room service came quickly. Definitely the chicken wings - worth it.This hotel pushes the boutique experience. Granted with the pandemic, its amazing that theres room service and the hotel offers almost a back to normal experience.Location and view, cant beat it. I have been to multiple countries and have experienced stays at Four Seasons to Ritz Carlton, but none has been as pleasant as here. The hotel is a piece of art and unmatched luxury, but the most important part is their commitment to guests and hospitality. The team pays close attention to every detail and ensures customer satisfaction without ever asking for it. We encountered several unexpected obstacles during our visit to LA (poor weather, limited Uber availability, etc.), but the Pendry team helped us to navigate through all of them without us having to ask. The on property restaurants and bars are world class. My future stays would be at Pendry, and I would recommend the same for everyone! A standard room feels roomy and the Jonathan Adler decor looks almost old Hollywood glam. A corner suite is by far the best choice (IMO). From the moment I stepped out onto Sunset in front of the Pendry. I was greeted and escorted to the lobby. After that the next 24 hours was a dream. We got there way before check in and they got us keys 3 hours ahead of our check in which was incredible. And they even upgraded us to a suite! We were even given 2 glasses of champagne at check in and the children got to all pick a toy from the Kidillac. Every square foot of the property was clean, state of the art and spectacular. The Pendry does not exist without Sir Damin K. If you want service fit for a queen (or king), look no further.
