Outstanding Pendleton Eye Center! I flew from Wisconsin to have Dr Robert Pendleton and team, evaluate my eyes, remove my cataracts and insert lenses. Wow! The Clinic is clean and artistic, the Staff is smiling, professional and makes you feel welcome! The tests and surgeries were painless and I no longer have to wear glasses for the first time in 70 years!!! Dr Pendleton has his MD. and PhD and explains every detail and helps the patient decide on the best lens for each eye. Highly recommend the Pendleton Eye Center. Do not hesitate to get the best treatment for your eyes here!Debbie, Amy, Diana and all the office staff are outstanding professionals. SO glad I changed my life by coming here!!! I had to find a new optometrist so I tried this place based on the reviews. Their office is really nice with several other eye specialists available if needed. The best part - Dr. Butler didnt require that I have the eye-dilating glaucoma test (I hate those). Everything went well and Ill be going back.

This place is awesome! We first went to another eye doctor referred to us by our primary but left there feeling like a number. We came here and the staff and doctor all took time with us and were thorough in their exam. We definitely wont go anywhere but here from now on.

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! Beware!!! This office only accepts private insurance (no HMO) which is fine. I should’ve known when the doctor himself started complaining about Medicare reimbursement during my initial consultation.. I should’ve known when the financial desk started with the thousands of dollars in upgrades on lenses.. but I want the best so I agreed. I returned. Check in for measurements, they start with asking for more money. I explained I have full coverage primary and secondary private insurance and why wasn’t I told during the consult like I was with the $1.000 + in upgrades.. in the privacy of an office in the back. I cannot stand being nickel and dimed at a check in desk. It’s irritating…. Handled so poorly.. all over a $200 deductible which they just had to collect standing charge at a counter separate from the upgrade bifocal lens I was about to pay for with the treatment coordinator in private. guess the difference between ordering at McDonalds where you pay upfront.. can you imagine Addisons or Ruth ‘s Chris asking for money before you receive the goods?!

Being a new patient and referred by Dr. Bell, I was a little disappointed. My appointment was for 10:00. I got there early as requested, but waited about 40 minutes past my appointment time to be called. My eyes were dilated, but not informed that it would take several hours to return to normal. I do have to say that my second and third visits were much better than the first. Everyone has an off day, an I can appreciate that. The staff at the office are friendly, caring, and go the extra mile to assure my comfort. Dr Pendleton was informative and very pleasant. Thank you.

After being a patient of Dr Bill Bell for many years, I was happy for him when he decided to retire, but disappointed he would no longer be practicing. I trust his judgement and knew I would be in good hands at the Pendleton Eye Center where he referred his patients. He left us in very good hands! Dr Butler is very thorough and explains things in detail as she is getting to know you personally. Very happy with Dr Butler’s care, knowledge and attention to detail.

Well at these office the people are really very nice always in a positive cheerful mood very motivated and happy environment. If you have an appointment there they are pretty up front to where your not waiting too long to be seen. Basically, your in and out of your there semi quickly. Very flexible or willing to see you if your a lil late. But basically, a very good Optometrist Office for the eye lense.

This was my first visit. Dr. Pendleton seemed very thorough in his initial examination, gave good explanations to questions, and the visit did not feel rushed. I liked that he maintained a very hands on approach as well. The office is larger than I was expecting with interesting photographs decorating the walls. A good experience all around!

My first visit to Pendleton Eye Center was Outstanding! Upon checking in I found the staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant. Very efficient in assisting me and performing all required exams and screening. Dr Butler was Outstanding. She let me explain my medical problem, she then examined, and diagnosed. She thoroughly explained my diagnosis in terms I could easily understand and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Front desk personnel were welcoming & efficient with me on my first & only (so far) visit. Dr. Robert Pendleton has been taking care of my eye care needs for close to ten years, he is one of the best doctors by far that I have personally experienced in terms of skills, knowledge, approach, attitude, and care. For complex problems he has his MD/PhD training and experience to back him up. For routine care, he has a clinic that is run quite efficiently. I certainly felt very fortunate to be under his care and have always trusted his up-to-date knowledge and skill and good old reliable wisdom.

Ive been on a search for the solution to a corneal problem I have. I found Dr. Ashley Butler with the Pendleton Eye Group on Yelp and her reviews were great, so I made an appt. Met with her yesterday and she did not disappoint! To begin with, their office is beautiful and clean and I got checked in quickly once I arrived. Then another gal took me in to take pics and other techy stuff right away before meeting with the Dr. Butler. Shes young and progressive with great bedside manner. She was honest about my situation and actually referred me to another specialist. I finally feel like Im on the right path and will go back to see Dr. Butler for my future optometry needs. Best eye exam in my life. The supporting staff was friendly and efficient. Front desk was Jen or Linda? I was checked in and ready in minutes. The ophthalmic technician who did my workup was Yadira, she was very thorough, extremally nice and answered all my questions. Dr. Butler was both professional and provided an exceptional customer/patient experience. She explained the health of my eye in detail and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I always have many. I have diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, so my eye exams are very important. I had my eyes dilated, OCT scan, IOP check, and a slit lamp exam. All normal with only early cataracts. I ended my visit with Amy the optician to go over my glasses. She was able to help me pick out my glasses and explain my benefits. I left with my prescription and a sheet that details my savings with insurance and clinic discount. I would save close to $500. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Butler and staff.

One of the finest Eye centers in the United States. This beautiful medical facility specializing in ophthalmology it’s such a pleasure to walk into. Is it a medical office or is it a gallery? The environment is exquisite. Beyond that it is really the expert care that one receives from the entire staff who are very kind, sweet, and loving people. Dr Pendleton is renowned throughout the United States as a board certified surgeon of the eye. The care one receives could only be described as world class. As a patient for 15 years, I can only say there’s no place else to go, or that I would want to go to receive expert care.

Disappointment. Right away this place did not feel good, I was informed I would have to pay first upon arrival twice. This was my first time going to the eye DR. When I called to set it up I gave them my insurance information I gave them my primary (tricare) and my insurance that I am going to lose soon (blue cross). They informed me I had to use the blue cross. I told them I was going to lose it soon and would rather use the tricare so I dont have to pay a deductible twice. That fell on deaf ears. When I saw the DR I told him how I had bloodwork done and was told I have Sjogrens syndrome which can affect your eyes. This also fell on deaf ears and learned absolutely nothing about it or if there is treatment. I also dont know how they dilate your eyes and then let you drive after. The only bright spot was the glasses guy at the front was very nice and helpful but other than that I would pass and look elsewhere if you seek eyecare.

Poor customer service. They called me 24 hours before my appointment telling me they couldn’t find my insurance which resulted in a lot of administration on my part to confirm that there was nothing wrong with my insurance. When I called back the next day they tried again and it worked. Waste of my time.My babysitter cancelled on me last minute and in my rush to get to my appointment on time with my son I left my wallet at home. I had a $15 co-pay for my appointment, when I arrived on time they told me that there was nothing they could do without me paying the $15 co-pay. It was out of the question for me to call once I returned home with my card information or for them to send me a bill. Front desk girl was rude and unsympathetic. I assume they lost more than $15 by having an unfilled appointment spot last minute. They could have held my prescription hostage as leverage for example. I had to leave. I was very eager to get my appointment taken care of and purchase glasses before the holidays. Needless to say I will not be rescheduling here. Very frustrating experience from start to finish with them and a giant waste of my time.

I had laser treatment to remove a floater that was significantly impairing my vision. After an exam and an interview, Robert determined that he could successfully remove the floater. The floater was adversely affecting my driving (particularly at night) as well as computer monitor use. My eye was tired and sore at the end of every day. The treatment was a complete success. Im now able to see just like I could before the dreaded floater obscured my vision. My eye isnt tired anymore and I just drove over 1000 miles with no issues. A big thanks to Robert!!!

Dr.Pendleton was very professional. He did my cataract surgury which went very well. However, because i was using eye drops wirh preservatives, I developed a reaction in one of my eyes. As you might suspect, i was very concerned. Dr.Pendleton diagnosed the problem immediately, reassured me that it would get resolved and put me on the track to great eyesight. He followed my problen very closely and it has now resolved. My vision is great. If you need a great Opthalmologist I highly recommend Pendleton Eye Center, and Dr. Pendleton.
