Barbara Morden and her team at Pearson/Cusack are a team to be trusted to get the job done.I faced every obstacle imaginable.A house fire in Nov 2022 was followed by the death of the homeowner 3 months later before repairs were completed. As trustee for the homeowners estate, the home had to be sold.Barbara was a tremendous asset as I cleared all the legal hurdles and negotiated with the lender to get the house sold in “as is” condition after construction was halted.Barbara was a firm and guiding hand. Her hard work secured a buyer for a price significantly higher than the original asking price.A price which will enable the heirs to begin rebuilding their lives after the fire.I cannot thank Barbara and her team at Pearson/Cusack enough.

We wanted to share how much Barbara Morden meant to us in the short time we had to sell our Valencia property to move across country to Hudson, NY.Barbara was an agent with PearsonICusack and we had spoken to her about our upcoming big move. I had worked with the Peason I Cusack Real Estate Group in previous years. I knew that we were in great hands!We were pretty nervous about listing our house after mortgage rates increased and Barbara made it clear that there was still a selling market.She walked us through it and after multiple offers we sold at a price much better than we expected! I decided last year to move to New Mexico to be near an aging family member. I have known Jamie Pearson since 1987 when he sold me my first condo, I used him again in 1997 when I sold my condo and bought my home of 25 years. It was a no brainer to use Jamie again when it came down to my selling my house. I even told my family if anything happened to me they should reach out to Jamie to take care of selling my home.The Pearson Cusack team were warm and friendly while being completely professional. They listened to my concerns and guided me the entire way. I was astonished to learn of their use of mass marketing skills, Shawn took amazing pictures and prepared a fabulous presentation with Nora posting to all the various sites to get my house sold a the best price. This team is the BEST!We were introduced to Jamie and Shawn by a family member, who has had several positive experiences buying and selling properties with them.We had decided to sell our ranch and move to Texas. This was a huge decision. We started packing and purchased a ranch in Texas.We had the pleasure of meeting Jamie and Shawn and knew right away they were the best team to list our ranch.They made the entire experience stress free and fun. They had a networking team that was phenomenal. They personalized the photos, and videos. They set up an interview with us so we could explain to prospective buyers why our property is so special.Their internet reach is so impressive.Looking back our timing wasn’t the best.. we were probably 6 months too late for the market.Jamie, Shaun and team turned it around to all work out, the escrow and title companies also made the entire transaction easy.We would definitely recommend and use their team again!Thank you Jamie, Shawn and team! I highly recommend Pearson Cusack Real Estate Group. I decided to sell my home in Los Angeles to be closer to family back East. I was given their name by a family friend who lives in the same neighborhood as me. I wanted someone who knew the valley well and did most of their business there. From Day 1 they communicated consistently and quickly. They gave me strategies for the sale and a recommendation of where to price. The biggest learning I had was to trust the process which involved pricing the home below where i wanted to in order to increase the chance of multiple bids. They went above and beyond helping me prep my home for sale with everything from orchids to helping me wipe my windows down the hour before our first open house. The team joined every showing we had. They are true partners, not just middlemen. They set me up with a stager who I thought was great and sold my home for 25% over asking. I recommend meeting the team in person and you will see why there is no one else Id recommend to use to buy or ell your next home.

Shawn is truly a partner through out the whole process of buying and selling. We struggled to find the right fit for us and in this competitive market, Shawn encouraged us to not lose hope. He set us up to put our best foot forward for each offer and answered every question we had along the way. Everyone at the Berkshire Hathaway team are extremely responsive and attentive. Shawn also helped me sell my home prior to buying. Where to start.I recently purchased a home in Woodland Hills after searching all over the SF Valley for nine months. I felt compelled to write this review because I had a really wonderful experience with Pearson/Cusack Real Estate Group. One of the great pluses for working with them is in the name actually. They are a team/group that are thorough throughout the home buying (In my case) process to really make a person feel supported.I worked closely with Jamie Pearson throughout my search and ultimately purchase of my new home. During a time when the real estate market in the SF Valley was at an all-time high, finding the right property in my price range was quite a challenge. Most houses had multiple offers in the first week and on top of that, I was being choosey. For me, finding the right home took a lot of looking and Jamie presented me with options! I wrote offers, I changed my mind, I searched and searched. I felt Jamie was there for me the entire time. I had a lot of questions about prices, neighborhoods, strategies for purchase and so much more. Jamie was incredibly patient with me and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. He was always ready to answer my questions in a timely manner. His vast experience in the real estate industry really shows. He is definitely a trained professional.Every step of the way, I felt the team was in my court.Once I did find the house I ultimately purchased, Jamie made sure I understood every step of the process until the close of escrow. Let me tell you about these guys... they are honest, helpful to the max, very responsive, and will go way out of their way to help make the home buying process as easy and comfortable as possible. I bought my first home through Shawn a couple months ago, and he is still willing to help me with loose ends! His office helped me arrange financing in the most efficient way. He helped me negotiate a reduction in purchase price based on the home inspection report. He works with Jamie Pearson who is a superstar in the real estate game.
