It was nice to find software to replace my previous copy of Adobe Acrobat. Im able to do all my PDF needs in one easy to use software. Actions, tools...all are easy to locate and understand. Support has been great when Ive needed it and the price was amazing. If you are in the market, I highly recommend Foxit!!

Great product. I am so happy to have found Foxit PDF software. I have purchased two lifetime perpetual licenses and now can avoid the monthly charges that competitors charge just to have the ability to password protect and encrypt important documents. The rise in Cyberattacks makes this feature incredibly valuable in my professional and personal life. I have recommended Foxit to all of my colleagues and they love it too!

I love the foxit PDF pro editing software! It allows multiple functions in one place. It comes at a reasonable price and allows many features that are not available with other platforms that I have used before. Also, the navigation is user friendly. 10/10 recommend!

A long-time user of Adobe, I was disappointed with the new layout and pricing. Foxit has replaced it with a relatively short learning curve. Better pricing with choices for level. As a writer I am pleased with ease of commenting and collecting comments into a readable document. Adobe also did this but not as smoothly as Foxit.

When you purchase the software directly, you should get specific instructions on how to activate the product instead of having to go to the help yourself and get generic instructions. I had to jump through hoops to get the correct way to activate it for a user I had purchased the software for. If anything, there should be a link in the email with the receipt for your purchase that allows you to activate it.* Update: We love the software, but I dont love the new way they try to push you to purchasing an annual subscription. Its Microsoft all over again.

For work I have on my organizations laptop I normally use Acrobat PRO - and use it often I do. But, for personal use I dont like Adobes business practices and try to search for any alternatives I can.Thats where I decided on Foxit after reviewing many available alternatives.When it comes to feature sets across both of them I havent ran into anything on Acrobat PRO that I havent been able to accomplish using Foxits PDF Editor. Additionally, Foxits UI is much snappier to navigate over Adobes. If you have any familiarity with PDF Editors. However, if youre new to the software then you might find Foxits UI a bit overwhelming.

I have the Foxit PDF Editor Pro software and it far surpasses all other PDF software on the market. When the need arises to to transfer documents, add/delete lines of text within documents, redacting, or even creating a new PDF from pages from existing PDFs, its all there at your fingertips. Love the FoxIt PDF software, but I cancelled my subscription since you cant use it on your desktop and laptop at the same time. You have to constantly switch the validation on the website as you go back-and-forth... which some days happens multiple times. It was somewhat annoying - reached out for help with no results. Its a shame since the software is far superior, IMHO, to Adobe Acrobat in every other way.

Foxit allows our business to plan our IT budget with one time licensing. However, the subscription craze is getting ahold of everyone, and the one-time perpetual fee is increasingly being hid until (I am guessing) it will not be available anymore. Subscription based software may be easier for some, but for others it is an unnecessary cash grab and making a purchaser click around the site for 40 minutes looking for what he needs is not good business. The software itself is superior to Adobe which is why we have switched to it as an organization.

Great product at a good price. Some usability features could be improved upon, editing is limited in capabilities, but works for basic editing of text. Doesn’t do much with inserting photos and not super capable nor intuitive to do editing a media rich document.

I use a PDF editor once in a while for personal and professional. I am not a heavy user but sometimes you need an editor to get something done. I wanted to get Adobe but it was just so expensive for what I needed and always one roadblock or another to get something small done. We discovered Foxit and took a chance to buy it and it just works. You take your laptop or phone do what I need very intuitive and easy done, close your work leave. Just love this software thank you (worth every penny)

After purchasing a full licence (lifetime) for PDF software, i dont get updates and now its expensive to have for only for 1 year paying monthly subscription. its not far off the subscription price for Adobe. so, its just priced itself out of the market. nothing is ever as good as the originals so why pay the same money for a lesser product. its a no brainer. the whole world is moving to a subscription service i.e., just one app on your phone can cost £9.99 per month let alone many apps needed in todays lifestyle. the boom of subscriptions may be here, but the bust is coming. simply once i pay for a lifetime product i dont expect the tables to get turned on me. i vote with my feet and my feet are sending me out the door. you will get no money from me. Simples. remember the bust is coming. nobody can afford subscriptions for every product. this can be up to 10 subscriptions from other apps and software thats about £100 per month just to keep up. so old-fashioned way for me. you will regret your core decision to move everything into subs based.

Im a retired architect, but I still do work helping another architect in California. We produce a multitude of pdf files from our cad program containing drawings that include a great deal of graphics and text. We also receive several pdf files that contain information that we need to incorporate into the pdf files we have created. Foxit makes it easy to copy and transfer that needed information. This has saved us a great deal of time and effort. The editor function of Foxit is amazing and is very easy to use.I also have used the Foxit form function to produce forms that I use to keep track of my work hours, and for other personal schedules that I use daily.Foxit is a fantastic tool that has served me very well over the past several years.

Foxit is affordable, but it lacks on many features. Doing an accessibility check in no way is enough for accessibility. You cant go into the tag tree and fix a doc. And it is very possible for a document to pass an accessibility checker but not be accessible at all. The checker relies on that you have done a perfect document, but sometimes we are not starting with that document and therefore it is necessary to make changes in tag tree.The OCR is not great either. Alot of times I want to OCR a PDF from an outside soure so I can take some text and put in notes. The text is usually garbage like a letter a line and way too time consuming to fix in Word.I was expecting the product to be at least as good as Adobe Pro 8 or 9 in theses areas, it is far from the that level with accessibility. So I do not use it that often, if I have a PDF to read I use Adobe Reader as it has the benefit of Read Outloud.With all this said, I cannot afford Adobe Professional for the few things I do, so at least Fox It was affordable enough even though it does not do some of them. However, if I have a Word document that I want to make into a PDF, I just do it from Word.The customer service is good though. When my computer went down and died, customer service reset my code and sent information so I could put it on my new computer.

I have had the product now for approximately one month and the functions I have used so far are a true alternative to Adobe Acrobat. Maybe there are some niche use-cases where the original offers a feature not available in Foxit Pro, but I havent found it yet. For my PDF editing needs the product is enough. The price is reasonable. I have not regretted the purchase.

Foxit PDF Editor has proven to be the best PDF software that I have used so far.I have previously used Nitro PDF which gradually became less and less attractive as the company continued to add additional fees for upgrade assurance, etc. which made for a very bloated and pricey product.After Nitro, I used PDF Architect for 2 years and, while a reasonably well performing product, it had its issues with basic tasks such as window resizing which never seemed to work properly for some unknown reason.The OCR functionality for PDF Architect is available as a separate optional module. Having used it myself, I can say that the quality of the OCR produced is far inferior to that provided by Foxit PDF Editor which already comes with an integrated OCR capability.Overall, one of the Foxit PDF Editor versions (Basic, Pro, Pro+) is the way to go for all your PDF creation and processing needs!

Leaving room for improvement for the following areas: Eliminate delays or lag in performance. Make it easier to edit documents. Make it easier to change font type and font size. Make those tools more accessible and easier to find. Otherwise the idea of not having to install software to a computer, tablet, phone is awesome, especially to people that work on multiple Operating Systems such as: Linux, Windows, Mac, iOS, etc. All you need is a modern web browser and you can use Foxit PDF Software!

Love it, after using Adobe Acrobat Pro for a decade. Brag about it to all my associates. It arrived preinstalled on a new Dell laptop at work, choice was Nitro or Foxit, no Adobe preloaded. IT recommended I try both or either, before they plunked big $$$ on Adobe. It’s so good, its tools so much better & easier to use, that I purchased Foxit for my personal computer. Use it at work daily.

Hard drive failure caused me to attempt re-installing foxit, but the activation code no longer worked. They wanted me to buy a new version, all of which are rental subscriptions. No more perpetual subscriptions are available. What a rip when I already paid for and own the software. money mongers just like Adobe.

Foxit software is pretty decent, but Adobe is still king. Tons of glitches in the paid version for E-Sign. Seems like there are always documents that dont make it to email when requesting a signature. Additionally, its annoying that the paid license only gets you one machine. In the modern working world, I have a work computer, a travel laptop, and my iPhone that I use interchangeably daily/weekly. That would be two-three paid subscriptions if I wanted Foxit on all my devices. Each paid license should come with two desktop license keys plus a mobile app key.

Used Acrobat 11 pro Desktop for ten-plus years. When shifting to Win 10, I pondered cost and performance and went with Foxit Pro Desktop. I was a power user of Acrobat. There is a little learning curve, but am happy with the switch. In my mind, Adobe could have exploited its market scale but instead turned greedy.

Ive used the product for years, both as a paid-in-full and subscription purchase, and still use it. It is the best of all the non-Adobe products I have tried, and it is better than Adobe as far as general utility for my day-to-day uses. I dont particularly like their subscription model, as I have two computers I use regularly (but only one at a time) and would prefer a different payment model. I did have one experience where I did not have an internet connection and it wanted me to verify my subscription (requiring the connection) before the product could be used. I dont know if they have changed the model or actions in a case such as this; perhaps FoxIT will comment.

Generally Foxit is a good product for half the price of comparable Adobe products. I have been satisfied with them for several years, with only minor issues, like font formatting and figuring out the electronic signature feature. Otherwise Foxit has been very useful for editing pdfs, scanning documents, transforming pdfs into editable documents, and general note-taking. I definitely recommend them!

Very nice program. Like it better than the Adobe 9 I had. I input data in Properties as a poor mans data base for searching. The Foxit editor holds multiple PDFs making it easy to jump back and forth between files when I insert or delete pages.

Love my pdf edit program. Except I wish they would fix the copy paste function with the mouse. When trying to paste something into a note it will paste but you dont see it until you save and reopen the file. If you use the ctrl and v on the keyboard no issues. The program beats Adobe hands down..

The product seems fine, but the inability to use on more than one computer is for me, a huge drawback.I have a big Apple desktop, two Apple laptops, the iPhone and an iPad. I need to be able to view. This product works as good as any other. My only real negatives are that licensing is per PC or a large number for multiple PCs. I want one for my Office PC that i can also use on my laptop when on the road. the other is that the activation code seems to get lost a couple times a year, not sure what thats about but its certainly irritating.

The new owners are pretty clueless - theyve hired poor web designers, developers and support people.The web site download section doesnt let you download versions for different platforms than you are using or older versions in case of problems.The PDF Reader Linux version has regressed, no multiple tabs as in v1, no explanation why.Support folks are the usual script readers with no product history knowledge.Not good signs if you want to buy enterprise grade products. AVOID!

I have been receiving marketing e-mails ostensibly from this company since the beginning of the year. I reached out through their websites contact us page so I could verify the e-mails were from them and the unsubscribe link wasnt nefarious. I have been working with PDF editor for MAC OS for 3 months. I am always surprised by the diverse possibilities. The program runs stable and is intuitive to use, but you should watch the tutorials to get to know it in more detail. If there is one small point of criticism, it is the OCR. There are better programs on the market, but that can still change. Overall, an attractive and diverse program for dealing with PDFs. I have previously tried various other PDF editors from the competition. I liked Foxit the most.
