I recently visited Emans PC Repair Shop after unsuccessfully replacing my laptop battery on my own. My computer wasnt recognizing the new battery, and I couldnt figure out why. Eman was incredibly patient and quickly identified that the wires werent connected properly. He took the time to explain the issue to me in a way that I could understand, which I really appreciated.Given that I had an important meeting later that day, Eman prioritized my repair and got it done immediately. I can’t praise Eman and his hard work dedication enough. I was very leery about trusting anyone to repair my MacBook. It’s easy to erase all documents and I wasn’t sure whom to trust. I read all the reviews on Eman which were positive so I knew he was competent and reliable.He stayed in touch with me throughout the repair process and even stayed late one night to figure out a complex issue with my hard drive. He’s incredibly reasonable price wise and don’t let you walk away unsatisfied. Quality of work and integrity are important to him.

The absolute BEST!! I had a hard drive crash on a Wednesday and went to a computer repair place near my office (Canoga Park) who told me they needed my computer for 2 to 3 days to end up telling me my mother board was bad and it would cost me $900 to recover my data. I decided get a second opinion and go back to PC Tech (They used to be my go to place when my office was in Van Nuys). They remembered my old business, my name and although they close at 6pm, they stayed open for me until 8pm and fully restored all my data for 1/3 of the price and included brand new SSD. The owner, Iman, is amazing in computer knowledge and customer service. It was way worth to drive 1/2 hour to go back to them. They are SUPER HONEST and extremely competent in all computers repairs/upgrades/data recovery. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

One of the best computer repair shops Ive been too. Needed to fix a problem with the SSD on my computer as it was not showing up on the Windows Setup tab. I was genuinely more delighted by the exceptional customer service than I was by the successful fix of my computers SSD issue. Super helpful, quick, efficient, educational, and resourceful. At the end he spent 15 minutes giving a complete tour of my computer and showing pictures of all the steps he took to clean my computer out. Eman is great and very friendly. I wasted money and time going to a big box store (MicroCenter) and they couldnt fix it. Eman was able to get it working in less than a few days. Hes already fixed my custom PC as well as my high end laptop. I definitely recommend himand his services.He accepts cards, but he prefers cash so be sure to bring cash!

They fixed my GPU and two weeks later it stopped working. When I went back to take it in, they still charged me because apparently it was a different issue. They pulled their laptop out to have me write a review here. They now have my google login info and $140. I was foolish to my login on their PC but they scammed me after my GPU stopped working a month later when warranty expired. Please be careful with your devices and sensitive info

I know better but have been too busy.I have been so frustrated. Not anymore - PCTECH - So nice, so thorough, so helpful in explaining what I need to know and so reasonable in pricing and parameters for checking out my computer. Best PC repair technician in Van Nuys, with load of knowledge and great customer service. This is my 3rd time at PC Tech, and surly there will be a fourth and fifth. They are always very patients by taking the time to understand the problem in order to offer the best possible resolution. I blew a hard drive and PC Tech was quick to solve the problem by installing a new hard drive, and they did it with in 4 hours, just in time so I can get back to work. This was my second time to PC Tech and I am still giving this company five stars. The first time, I needed a new fan and this time I needed a new hard drive and a new fan repair. They did everything I needed, and transferred all my data for me, with same-day service and VERY reasonable prices. I am so happy with the results and the speed my system runs. Very impressed with my experience at PC Tech: prompt repair, honest price & friendly service.I took my laptop in for surgery because the fan broke so it began overheating and shutting down. I expected to purchase a new part and wait the standard 2-3 business days for delivery, however, they were able to fix the problem without ordering any additional parts!(There was a fair amount of dust and 2 pieces of broken hinges found that were stopping the fan.) My hinges were also repaired during my computers hospital visit.My laptop was up and running within an hour for pick up.The technician was knowledgeable, patient and professional. I value hassle-free, friendly, reliable service, and this is what I felt I received. This really couldnt of been a better first-time experience. I would definitely return, as well as recommend them to other people.

My Dell XPS laptop hard drive was bricked because of BitLocker (well, I couldn’t find the BL passkey). Was fearing that I would need a new SSD hard drive. Took it down to Eman @ PCTECH on Van Nuys Blvd. Eman communicated very clearly and quite clinically about the prognosis: 80% chance it’s THIS, 20% chance it’s THAT. I very much appreciated him telling me my options first off—no surprises. I knew that he could do his best to decrypt the drive and save me $$$.Two hours later I picked up the laptop. He was able to decrypt the drive and a new SSD was not needed. You can really tell that Eman loves his work. He took pictures of the innards of my laptop (battery, fan, motherboard). Eman showed me that my laptop battery is swelling and needs to be replaced before the motherboard is impacted. On the laptop, he placed 3 different webpages for me to order a replacement battery. WOW! I didn’t have to look up the battery number to get the proper version. Also, he knew I could change it myself and didn’t try to upsell me. Straight up gentleman, Eman is!I don’t wish any more computer issues, but if I do, I know Eman is my #1 guy. You can trust him and his prices are more than fair (as I have repaired my own computers in the past).No need to look any further for PC repair. PCTech is #1.

I have had two great experiences at PC TECH. Last week I dropped my new computer, it fell hard and when I turned it on, it showed a page that said Unfortunately your computer has died. It would not go on at all. I was so depressed and then I remembered this place where I had taken my other computer and how helpful and knowledgeable Eman was. My new computer is now alive and well, in fact, better than it was before I had dropped it. He installed a new hard drive that is better. These guys are the best. Brought my laptop in to repair the cooling fan, they cleaned the whole thing up and fixed the problem. Gave me a great deal on installing a solid state drive and my rig is now as good or better than a brand new one. Certainly better than its ever been. Ive got actual horror stories about dealing with Microsoft service centers, and some less than stellar Apple experiences as well. PCTech is FAST, CHEAP, and easily better than anywhere else Ive been. Go there. They will make your computer better than a new one, for a lot less.

So initially I went to best buy to get my computer fixed, I was told it would it would take 2-3 weeks. I couldnt do that and Im glad I didnt go with them. I found this little gem near my house. There is no better Computer Repair business than PC TECH! Yesterday was my second visit to this Company. A few months ago, I brought my computer there for repair. when I took it to them, it wouldnt even Boot Up. When I left, it was like I had a brand new computer. I expected to pay much more than they charged me. To say that I was happy is a vast understatement! Yesterday, I brought my phone in with a slim hope that they could help me, since computer repair is their main business. Boy, was I wrong. Again, I was incredibly surprised, because I left with my phone working as it did when I first got it. And again, the price for my phone repair was much less than I expected. Thank you Iman and PCTECH team for your professional services. My windows crashed and I was panic and nervous I called PCTECH and the same day I took my desktop there for repair. In 2 hours they had it fixed. They restored windows, Tuned up the operating system, updated drivers, cleaned up browser and serviced motherboard. A full computer service and tune up all in 2 hours. Iman explained to me all the procedures and answered all my questions. My panic is gone and I’m very grateful. Thanks!My Story:Let me start by saying that I originally took my MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro to Geek Squad at Best Buy for an issue, but after wasting 100 bucks they made my Laptop worse, as it did not turn on anymore.Found this amazing repair shop that helped me with repairing not only the power issue, but they also fixed the USB issue I was having with my device.My Experience:This shop is situated on Van Nuys Boulevard, and Kalifa on the corner. The entrance is on Van Nuys Boulevard, do not park in the rear, as that is private parking for the other businesses.As soon as I walked in, the PC Technician at the front, Eman S, was already working with a client, but kindly greeted me as I walked in and that he would be with me shortly. As he finished with his first client, he asked me what my issue was, and after a short story, he had a clear idea of what the issue could be, and advised me that it sounds like it could be a hardware issue, which Geek Squad told me was a software issue was completely wrong. He told me the price for the diagnostic and if he could get it repaired what the estimated final cost could be, he also asked me how soon I needed it back, and I told him anytime withing 7 days was fine.Eman called me two days later (great time-frame), to inform me that he successfully repaired my laptop and for me to come pick up my device. As I got there, he insisted that I test all the aspects of my laptop to make sure that the service was completed. To my surprise during the test, I saw that my USB ports were working again, as it did not work before.Prices:$35.00 - Diagnostics$195.00 - Repair (If successfully completed he would deduct the diagnostic price)-------------------------$160.00 - Final Price for completely fixing my laptopLastly, thank you to Eman for completely fixing my laptop, I was worried that my $1400 device would have gone down the trash after just two short years, but now it works like new. My laptops screen was not displaying any red colors and it kept leaving a burn-in effect when I would change around windows. It was very annoying and hard to look at. Almost impossible to watch movies, etc. I initially took it to Geek Squad for a diagnosis and they said they had no idea what it could be. What can I say, my hard drive bit the dust. I was losing hope of ever recovering any files from it until I found PCTech. Eman and his team were honest and upfront with me (in a very gentle way I must add). He told me that he may or may not be able to retrieve anything from a badly damaged hard drive. He explained every possible outcome before I decided to entrust my shambles to him and his techs. I brought it in on Friday, and even though theyre closed on Saturday and Sunday they kept a close eye on the recovery process remotely and texted me any updates. Thats dedication and caring!
