I highly recommend Pci Computer Services. They have assisted me on several occasions. I have found that they are reasonable with regards to their charges. And they will work with you to resolve any on-going issues and suggest remedies. I recently was in their store and dealt with Ervin Callaway, who was able to make all the required changes to my computer laptop. He was very quick and is a real credit to Pci. Id suggest asking for Ervin. He sure impressed me.

I have dealt with Aaron at Pci Computer Services for some time now. He is ALWAYS extremely prompt and efficient when I need help. As we all know, our productivity almost stops when our computer is sitting in a shop waiting for someone to take the time to perform diagnostics. Then it takes another day or so for the service to be completed.Aaron and his staff service my system remotely and in most cases it is done in a matter of hours -- not days or weeks.Dont be held hostage by a geek!Try Pci and you will not be waiting a week.
Insanely helpful. Took the time out of their insanely busy schedule to help a friend with their gift for their son. Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable patient and they love what they do. Never hesitate to reach out to these guys.
Ran their mouth about my pre built gaming set up when I called asking a question, my system can run all the new games and I paid less that 1400 for it came with a 1080ti full cooling set up and a core i7 9th gen. thought I would give these guys a try but come to find out my buddy went to them and they ripped him off. almost 2 grand for a pc with a horrible case, only 1 cooling fan, a 560ti and core i3... well never step foot into this place again.

This is one of two computer repair shops Ive been two in Chico, the other is on Forest Ave. PCIs attitude and willingness to do what YOU require, puts the other to shame. (The repair fellow there is a good guy - its the owner that needs a little work!)
Im not sure if they still do it, its been a while, but they make amazing fightstick enclosures if your an avid fighting game player. solid metal no bs. my bro had one when his house burned and in the cremated remains of the house stood a sole arcade stick shell and basically nothing else

They are nice, have great communication, and do quick diagnoses. I have, and for diagnoses still will, recommended many friends/family to take their computers there if I wasnt able to help them with the issue.Although they really do a good job working, parts of their pricing structure is pretty insane. My friend took her desktop computer in to get it diagnosed today. The result ended up being a toasted ssd. So, the stated fix for this was to install a new ssd, as well as windows. The price that was given for the work to be conducted AND the ssd was $197.I know that the stated ssd was a 456gb Kingston A400 (probably meant 256gb), which is fine, but this ssd costs $33 (for 480gb) on amazon. Additionally, on Kingstons website, under the A400 ssd, it states, makes it [A400 ssd] ideal for notebooks and other mobile computing devices.I understand that money has to be made. I dont discount that in any way. However, charging ~$164 just to install a ssd and flash windows onto the drive is actually insane.

I was given insight, knowledge, and shown what went wrong so I know what to do next time, as well as advice for future problems and what my options are. They are very knowledgeable and show it by sharing that knowledge with the customers in a friendly way so we can figure out how we want to proceed. They sell laptops, but will direct you to other places if they think youll find something better suited for you elsewhere. They looked over my laptop and were able to fix the problem without opening it up, and they didnt charge me; I am very grateful to them.

2016-12-07 06:27:27After a horrible computer experience with another store here in town (naming names feels a bit unethical)...I was recommended top go to Pci. I was very happy with the results. I only waited 1 day for a reboot and the customer service was great. I learned that they only charged half of what I paid at the other store for the work I had done at the other store. I wish I had heard of these guys first! I will definitely be a returning customer.

2019-12-05 05:08:23I came in and requested a clone be made of my hdd. I explained that it was my business machine, and having it down was costing me money. They accepted the job, confirming a clone copy should take just a few hours.I came in at the end of the business day. Turns out they had spent 6 hours running a ram test. I took my machine back. Guess they regarded me as just another idiot. The clone work was never even started.

2018-08-14 00:11:34Been going here for 10 years now, since I was 22. Having them build me custom gaming computers, repairs, restores, get forgotten pws to log in, upgrade oss and hardware upgrades. Great dudes, very nice.ONLY BECAUSE I love my computer dearly, I sometimes feel that they might take longer than I would like so I can game after work. Sometimes it takes them a week for hardware changes. If youre in a nerd hurry and want your comp back fast just ask them daily in a nice manner if they have an ETAAnd tip them

2014-02-01 17:25:06I brought in my 2008 Dell laptop to PCI with little hope. I had received multiple estimates on the repairs before, all exceeding three hundred dollars...because it was entirely broken in half. Upon first glance they told me it wouldnt be a problem, they could either order new hinges, and if that failed, they would make it into a desktop. Two days later I got called to pick up my computer, with original hinges, fixed as new!! It was the most incredible work I have ever seen. At a price that made me ashamed I didnt go here first.
