I have owned a swim school for over 30 years. I thought I was getting the best rates through Costco with Elavon. I decided to shop around and found payment cloud. I’ve been working with payment cloud for about 8 months I believe, never have I ever had to face any difficult challenges with having payment cloud by my side. I can fully focus on my business, increase my sales/volume and all of the business/merchant related issues payment cloud is there for me. I’ve been working with Jordan, one email to Jordan and I know this will be done and everytime, every single time within 24hrs I get a response back from my manager Jordan or from Amanda and they literally help me with everything as soon as they can. I’ve had gateway issues, resolved in a day. I’ve had my reserve release from the merchant, one email to Jordan (my manager) and its done in a day. I’ve had my limit increase concerns with the merchants, i just reach out to my manager at payment cloud and its done. Even getting more merchants, the paperwork, docusigns and everything has been taken care by payment cloud really well with such an amazing manager and their colleagues. Love working with Jordan to be very honest. I’m at so much peace working with payment cloud, I currently have multiple merchants through payment cloud and they’re just progressing day by day. 100% recommended!Thank You payment cloud for being there for me and for your exceptional services.

Jordan is the best! Been working with payment cloud for over a year now. Processing fees are pretty high, but for high risk its not horrible. The main issue with this company is that whenever you have a problem, supposedly nobody works at this company! I have tried the company phone line, and 2 of the sales associates phone numbers, and no answer. Left a voicemail, tried calling on different days, and no luck. Over the past year I have probably had about 4 issues that I needed help with. Every. Single. Time. I had an issue trying to reach someone on the phone. I just dont get it. I understand Im not making these guys the most amount of money, but for $100/month at minimum, I should expect much better support.

I’ve worked with over 6 processors and have worked with many customer service representatives, she is by far somebody you want to work with and somebody who deserves a raise. I never used PaymentClouds services, yet they billed me for months without authorization. Their salespeople rushed my account live months before I told them to, likely because of their salespeople make huge payouts when they trick people into agreements.When I tried to cancel, they claimed I owed more! Publicly they promised a refund, but privately said they were keeping my money.This company will trap you in expensive contracts, bill you for nothing, and lie about refunds. Stay far away - they use deceptive tactics to extract as much money as possible.

Great experience. If you are lucky enough to get assigned to Melissa Daleske, you are in good hands. I gave PaymentCloud a shot because I heard they have a good track record with high-risk accounts, and while Im sure they have good service across the board, Melissa just has just a bubbly, on-your-side attitude that makes you feel like shes on YOUR payroll. Avoid PaymentCloud at all costs unless you like hidden fees and jumping through hoops to cancel or make changes.Their sales people hook you with what seems to be good rate without explaining any hidden fees and then, periodically, increase the rate without any notification or warning.They also have annual fees that they say they cant do anything about.Once you catch the issue, they will point out that if you read the fine print on your monthly statements you will see that the rate increases are mentioned there and there is nothing they can do.I tried calling my original sales rep and customer service rep and their numbers are no longer in service-seems fishy! My advice is avoid at all costs and deal with a more reputable company.

The worst company in the world. They blocked my payment system on September 11 and until November 5 every month they deduct money from me. I will go to court + conduct a dispute with my bank. Never work with them in this most terrible company with hidden fees. And at the same time they promise every time that they will not take off money from the account.

Shoutout to Daniel. After our online processor dropped us for high-risk products Daniel helped find a better bank. The follow-up was better than anyone else Ive encountered. *cough* Maverick Merchants and PaykingsAfter Square abruptly dropped our retail processing, without even so much as a warning, after 6+ years and over $2+ million in processing Daniel answered my call immediately and got to work setting up a new processor with comparable hardware within the same afternoon.I cannot stress how good this company is for small businesses that sell high-risk merchandise and services. Do not go anywhere else. Dont even bother with Paypal, Stripe, Square, Clover, etc. If you get dropped by any of them its likely the others will NOT take you or will drop you once they discover your merchandise or services. Dont waste your time creating new accounts, EINs, bank numbers, cause theyll totally sh*tlist your information to prevent you from circumventing their decision. There is peace of mind with a more tailored processing company and service.Their support staff has been awesome and available. No automated messages, ignored communications, etc. Straightforward, fast, responsive. A+Its rather unfortunate small business like us are pushed to the corner even though we fulfill a valuable niche in the consumer markets. I looked up this business after using another company that was full of different fees. I am a very small business and I needed something easier to process my orders without surprises. I spent quite a bit of time researching different company and look at PaymentCloud. I contacted them and MELISSA DALESKE answered my request. She was very detailed and asked me numerous questions about my business to give me the best plan for my needs. We decided that the pay as you go plan was best for me and I have been using it now for about a month and I am extremely happy with the plan and I am so happy that I have Melissa as an account rep, she answers emails quickly and is always very helpful. You have to be careful with merchant service companies who tell you what you want to hear to sign you up and then hit you with unexpected fees so If you are looking for a great merchant service company this is the place and ask for Melissa for awesome customer service.

Avoid PaymentCloud. They bring you in with a seemingly good rate (discount) and then, periodically, increase the rate without any notification or warning. After that point... well, go talk to the bank. It is not our fault.REGARDING THE MERCHANTS RESPONSE.I want to point out that the comment We do understand that your account manager has done various rate reviews on your behalf, steadily decreasing your rates over time. is not true. I have requested multiple rate reviews over the years and not once were my rates changed (other than going up). Recently a rate reduction had been approved, but nothing makes up for the 10s of thousands of dollars consumed by the periodic rate hikes I sustained while working with PaymentCloud.

I completely agree with all the negative reviews about hidden fees. When I first signed up I was told itd be $15 a month and an extra $10 if I didnt sell any items that month.Well, it turned out to actually be $60-80+ a month for a low sales volume business.Within a few months, I get a notification that Id be charged $1,000 a year. I asked my account manager and she said that was never in my contract and shed look into it. Then 2 1/2 months later, $1,000 was automatically deducted from my account despite it never being in my contract and me never authorizing it.Dont use this company. Youll end up spending more in fees than youll make.

Payment cloud is the worst! After a grueling, two month application process, my account was finally approved, but somehow the took it upon themselves to raise my rates. Because I had not yet integrated them onto my site for the first month I was not aware. My $25 a month Service ended up being $67 a month and with no warning. When I called to try to figure out why my bill was so high they were incredibly rude and condescending and, like others have said, told me to take it up with my bank. it’s too bad because the sales department that you deal with when signing up, in my case a guy named Tom Davis, made that experience very positive. But as soon as you are signed up with them, expect shenanigans. Avoid this company.

Writing a second review because not only did they not stop billing me and refund my payment, they increased the amount they were billing me!btw I never processed one cent with this company!who rushed a merchant account thru in my company name before we were at all ready to start.And now i understand the motivation from their salespeople to rush deals thru ASAP - these predatory contracts have all sort of nasty clauses buried in them - which is what they sent me when i tried to cancel. ( i wondered to myself why the salespeople for these types of companies were sooo pushy when we were trying applying to banks, now it makes sense- the scam goes like this:They sign u up, they get random other banks to bill you( they dont bill as payment cloud btw they bill as EPX/ or Global Payments or merchant services or one of dozens of other corporate IDs ) which makes it extremely hard to trace who youre eve doing business with.Like i said, literally have NEVER used their platform ever to promise payments but theyve STOLEN hundreds of dollars from me, and lied thru their teeth when they replied to my review saying theyd request a refund.and they are so delusional to think they are then entitled to thousands of dollars more having provided ZERO value?in addition to their fees which will change whenever the feel like it, they basically try and make it impossibleThis letter is in response to your request to terminate the above-referenced Merchant Account. According to Section 1.16 of the Merchant Agreement, in the event the Merchant terminates the Agreement early, all monthly fees assessed to the Merchant under the Agreement, and due for the remainder of the then existing term of the Agreement, including all minimum monthly fee commitments, shall be immediately due.Furthermore, the Merchant authorizes the accelerated payment of all such monthly fees, and to deduct the total amount from the Merchants account referenced in Section 1.13-1.15, or to otherwise withhold the total amount from amounts due to Merchant, immediately on or after the effective date of termination. Your Merchant Agreement terminates on 12/05/2025.So theyre trying to say hey were going to try and steal THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MORE FROM YOU.

I am so impressed with the service that PaymentCloud provides. My business primarily use invoices to complete transactions and my cost of processing fees is a TENTH of what I was paying Square for transaction fees. Unlike Square, PaymentCloud listened to what service my business provides and tailored a product that saves the most money for my business. Also, my support person Alex responds to email containing concerns or questions within the hour! Service and Quality to support small businesses. I wish I found them sooner and could give them 10 stars!

I feel compelled to put out a warning to fellow businesses about my unfortunate experience with PaymentCloudInc. Their business practices, in my opinion, reek of a bait and switch scam. Despite our specific request to hold off on billing until we were set up to use their service, they ignored it and charges were initiated.Furthermore, PaymentCloudInc has a puzzling system of processing their payments under an obscure EPX acronym. We had an agreed monthly bill in writing, but they had the audacity to alter it at will, without any notice or consent.Getting them to stop the charges has been a futile endeavor - weve never even used their service. To top it off, their overseas support was far from helpful, even scoffing at my predicament. In simple terms, these actions seem nothing short of thievery to me. So, fellow business owners, tread cautiously with PaymentCloudInc.

I worked with Thomas Ryan and it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with any company hands down. Honestly, I had low expectations coming into working with payment cloud because of what I heard from other colleagues, but when I first started working with Thomas, my expectations were far exceeded. Because I do data analysis and dont sell a physical product, most merchant service providers flag me as a High Risk vendor and wont touch me. Neal at Payment Cloud had no trouble connecting me with an amazing service provider who took the time to understand my product. Moreover, they set it up to work through an Authorize.Net gateway, so I can accept payment through any shopping cart service provider. Neal, my account specialist, was always there for me and had excellent advice on getting my business off the ground. He never failed to return a call, never failed to return an email, and he always had an expert answer to my many questions. Hes absolutely the best. I could not be more pleased that I have Payment Cloud in my corner.

I’ll start this review by saying I have very mixed feelings about Payment Cloud. On one hand their account managers are great for the most part. (Mostly) communicative, and attends to all my businesses needs. However their process of approval isn’t very clear, and I feel like we’re being strung along waiting for approval. I know this isn’t the account managers fault, but the banks they go through are frankly terrible. Many times they asked us to add things to our site that were already there, or remove things that were never on the site to begin with, delaying our process over and over again. Currently have been waiting 5 weeks for approval with no updates on where the banks are at.Payment cloud is overrall pretty good but they need to fix their communications from their banks to their clients

BEWARE! Honestly one of the worst experiences dealing with a company. Beware they dont care about their customers. They neglect to tell you about hidden fees and when reading the contract it is hard to understand and they wont explain it to you like how it is meant. So instead of paying $30 youll be paying around $67 a month. I also closed my account 2 days after they had already charged me because I asked them to refund the additional charges they didnt tell me about and they wouldnt.

I can never reach anyone. The phone rings endlessly. Ive been trying to set up a merchant account for my shopify store since JULY. It is now September, and I have been calling and calling and nothing. They only sent me a card reader and then tell me they cant help me with anything else. The person I was assigned with never picks up, takes forever to respond. No one seems to know what theyre doing. Now since Ive been waiting for July theyre charging me monthly for the card reader, where 95% of my sale are online purchases. Im so livid right now because Ive been waiting around like a sitting duck for these people to answer me my calls. I havent gotten any luck getting someone ON THE PHONE SINCE JULY. Im so dissatisfied and unbelievably broken right because theyre holding my business up for almost 3 months now. Im here suffering.

Thanks to Neal for helping me out over several weeks. He answered my questions about what an underwriter is, and made sure that even though my business was rejected at first, that he would talk to several banks and get it through. He then went the extra mile to make sure my account would be safe, recommended me some additional 3rd party software that would protect my account, and its worked out great! They tell you there are no fees, but then the bank starts adding fees. They do not send formal notice that the fees will be added, but bury the notice in Payment Hub (their terribly designed virtual terminal). When I questioned the fees, the customer service agent assigned to me quickly became rude and defensive.Do yourself a favor: if you are a small business looking for a payment processor, avoid Payment Cloud!

The worst company you can ever imagine. They are brokers, i.e. not direct merchant services, which is why their rates are much higher if compared to when you apply directly with merchant services. When I applied with them, my credit score was checked without my permission and the card was charged although the rep said it wont be charged. Then, when I cancelled all the accounts with them and received the confirmation from the rep, I decided to check directly with merchant services for said applications through PaymentCloud and guess what - accounts were not closed. The rep was constantly providing me incorrect information and was not helpful. Besides, he ignored many of my e-mails and calls. The best advise would be to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

My business is in the high risk category, I had to provide a few extra details about my business as well as make some adjustments to my website, however I had a great account representative that walked me through the entire process and got me approved for a merchant account. The vaolume limit on my account is slightly lower than I asked for however thats to be expected for any start up business in the high risk category. It seems to be a scam, I opened an account with them and a week later I have 4 different companies asking me to activate my account so I can process payments, so far 2 of them have charged me different fees for a single transaction. I asked the main guy I spoke with Erik Crouch (probably fake) and he hasnt responded to my emails. There are better options for your business unless you want your funds held for 120 days. Sent an invoice to a customer after consulting with customer service. Did everything they said, and they still held the funds. They also take large amounts of money out of your linked bank account without notice. Although my rep was responsive, David made a huge mistake. I was assured that the 6 months reserve the processor was taking would roll back into my business account after 6 months.The processor explained that this was a trick to get me to sign up. Instead of 6 MONTHS OF RESERVE rolling into my account as promised in February of this year when I signed up, I can only expect 10% of the sales from 1 month of the 6 months to roll into my account and this can only be requested twice a year. On August 14, 2020 I texted David to ask him when I could expect the 6 months reserve withheld to hit my account. He told me to call the processor. During this conversation I explained how helpful the reserve was, like an involuntary savings account for my business. We discussed this in length then but today he pretended that we never had that conversation. 6 months ago, pre pandemic this mistake would not have been so grave. Typically, my industry has a slow season. The reserve was supposed to get us through. Im devastated. I would never choose Payment cloud again. They are so heavy on sales that they say anything to get you on board. Pray for my team.

I talk to a sales representative by the name of Brandon who seems nice at first but really is a money hungry sales agent who will discard your file for the slightest reason without telling you. Brandon sent someone to our house to inspect our home business for a merchant account and take our private information only to never be heard of again. Where is our information?? What did they do with it? I am afraid now because they have my fiancé’s and I social security number and business information. I plan on closely monitoring my credit report at this point. I had been denied already with no explanation. I just took over a well established business and was losing money. I went ahead and contacted them, and within minutes was contacted by Faith Travis. Faith went above and beyond customer servise. She not only explained all issues and helped me apply without wasting my time. Payment Cloud gave my information to a third party vendor who tried to sell me additional services and used false bait and switch emails that made it seem like the email came from Paymentcloud.Emails were returned promptly before we signed up but after we signed up it took days to get a response.We got up and running after I was forced to call into the Payment Cloud customer service line. I was unable to get set up due to multiple wrong email links being sent and multiple wrong ID numbers being sent.This made the process annoying and frustrating.Once we got up and running we processed a few transactions from our long time clients (1+ years) where their cards had been operating on a monthly recurring charge. It just so happened that a couple of these clients got new CC and had not notified us.This triggered our account to get put on hold.I was not notified of this and had to call into customer service multiple times to figure out what was going on.I reached out to Chelsie and got no responses, I called into customer service and was provided 0 answers.Because I had no idea what was going on, I called the customer service number for the bank listed in my email.That customer service rep let me know my account was put on hold because of a couple of failed transactions. I was never notified by the bank or by PaymentTech.Upon conversation with the bank customer service, I asked them when our funds would be withdrawn. The rep told me 120 days.I was unable to get an explanation and asked what would be the fastest way to get it? I asked if it would be faster to have our clients chargeback the payments and transact on another platform.This angered the rep and without getting an answer the call was ended.After hearing about an escalated insistent on my account when I sent an URGENT! email, Paymentcloud finally called me to say, you shouldnt talk directly to the bank. Payment cloud said they would take over and provide updates.(this would have been helpful if they had returned my calls and emails)The only updates I received were along the lines of I will check on it.It has been weeks and I still have no update in regards to our funds.Throughout this whole process, communicating with PaymentTech has been a NIGHTMARE.You should expect to send 2-3 follow up emails to get an answer that says I will look into it and never hear back.After posting this review, I received an email stating they had called several times as well as emailed. (not true)I finally got 1 call after this review was written yet still no update to my account.I would NEVER recommend them
