I have been bringing my dogs to Paw Hills since my eight year old Yorkshire Terrier Poodle, Kolby. was still a puppy. He and his sister June share a suite and it is their home away from home. (Sometimes I think they might even like it better :)Cant recommend it more highly!

Our dog Abra has been going to Paw Hills for about 5 years. We regularly take her to day camp and she has spent as much as two weeks boarding. The staff at Paw Hills is wonderful and treats Abra as the queen she thinks she is. We have total confidence that Abra is in good hands when she is at Paw Hills!

My 13 lb shihtzu Maltese had a great time at Paw Hills 2 weekends in a row. She spent 2 nights there and was totally happy when I picked her up! They texted me pics of her too.

My dog loved the staff and he is usually so shy but he took to them instantly. They were great and he was happy when I picked him up. Thank u so much paw hills will definitely be bringing him again next time we are in town.

Great location, cleanest boarding facility Ive ever seen. Our two dogs enjoyed their stay at Paw Hills. The support staff are excellent, responsive and friendly. Overall I would rate the staff and services a 5. I would recommend Paw Hills consider offering a discount for purchasing in bulk, at the same time, for multiple dogs.

Staff does not follow through with paid services. For example, not bathing pet prior to departure and not sending photo updates as requested. Staff extremely rude when confronted about poor service. Manager of facility is mean and does not care about the well being of your animal. Contacted owner of the business and she just makes excuses for her staff and defends their poor actions. Will never return or recommend anyone to board their pet with this business.

Read this review to save your pets life! Do not board here. Do not board at Paw Hills Hotel & Spa. I brushed off the lack of communication before my drop off (I sent numerous emails and never heard back) and even brushed off my kitten almost falling out of his carrier upon pick up as the employee did not close it. What I havent brushed off is that my 13 mo old cat came home incredibly sick. We had to take him to the emergency vet because his experience at paw hills was so traumatizing that his bladder spasmed due to the stress of a urinary tract infection that has been confirmed medically to be the fault of Paw Hills due to the strain of the bacteria in his professional urine culture and he developed a urinary obstruction. A blocked cat is fatal. On the phone with the hospital they told me that time is of the essence in getting him there in time to survive. Please note that my kitten was at Paw Hills when this condition developed and the facility did not notice or contact us. We could have lost our baby because of Paw Hills lack of responsibility as well as lack of proper care. Our baby is still in critical care at the hospital and will be for a few more days. Paw Hills unacceptable care is costing thousands of dollars in medical bills. All I can say is, do not board here- save your pets life.

My husband took our family on a trip back east and we have a 2 year old yellow lab, who we need to board. We found Paw Hills on a recommendation from a friend as we wanted to feel comfortable having Lucy stay somewhere for 10 nights. Paw Hills has a great facility that really does look and feel like a luxury pet hotel and spa. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Lucy was excited to see us at pick up but all indications were that she had a great time there. We also had her bathed so she was clean, happy, bright and shiny when we picked her up. We havent booked another family trip yet, but when we do, we know we need to book Paw Hills for Lucy! Thank you!

We have been bringing our cat to Paw Hills for more than 5 years. This year was our LAST. When dropping our cat off he was put into a used not cleaned cat suite!!. I immediately addressed this and asked he be moved. I was told he would be. So I left to get gas.... when I returned he was in the same dirty non-cleaned suite with dirty litter and used old food. They lied. I had to physically enter the facility and move him myself to a clean suite. I will not be using Paw Hills again and I recommend all not to board their loved animals here.

The lobby reeked of urine every time I have dropped off and picked up. The last three times we have used this place, our pets have smelled like they were sitting in their own urine when we picked them up. Additionally, all three times our pets developed horrible gastrointestinal problems resulting in uncontrollable diarrhea throughout our house. I would say it was a fluke if it happens once, maybe twice, but three consecutive times means that something is going on. If you do use this place, prepared to give your pet a bath right after pickup, pay vet bills, and have your carpet cleaned.

Paw Hills is by far the best kept secret in Southern California! Prior to taking my dog there, I literally took my dog to every Doggy Day Care in the valley to which I had nothing but horrible experiences. Finally, a co-worker told me about Paw Hills. From that day on, I never had to worry about going out of town or just taking my dog to play for the day! The facility is always clean and the faculty is so nice and accommodating. Thank you Paw Hills!

To encounter humans who truly love animals is a gift. Traci from Paw Hills is amazing. Her love for animals is shown through this amazing place. I was fortunate to see this place when it first opened. Now, opened and running Im amazed to see how beautiful it is. All of the staff is friendly and warm. My dog has received the best care anyone could ask. They go above and beyond what any other place does. If youre in the area and need a caring and loving place to bring your fur babies, make sure you stop by Paw Hills. During our 4+ week remodel, we needed a place to keep our cat and dog while the construction was going on during the day. Our cat stayed overnight and long term and loved it. He had a suite and enjoyed the extra room. Our dog went to doggie day care and came home happy and tired every night.The staff treats each dog as if they were their own. We are completely satisfied with the services provided at Paw Hills.

Paw Hills is awesome and the only place we take my dog Luna. She loves coming back and seeing everyone. We put her in day camp during her stays and always comes home happy and cleaned up as we always add on a bath before pickup.

We were interested in seeing one of the dogs they had posted available for adoption. The front office staff seemed aloof and indifferent and I had a hard time getting them to confirm that dog was there. I told them I would like to see that dog and any other they had available. The woman I was asking seemed a little confused and disappeared behind a door for a few minutes. We were getting ready to leave and she returned and said we had to fill out an application before we could see the dog to make sure we qualify. I told her I was not going to give out personal information unless we decided to adopt and, by the way, what kind of information that I could provide would ensure them we are “qualified?” She said for instance if we had ten kids where would we put a dog? We are in our 70s so don’t think that’s a problem. Unbelievably rude!! Would never go there for anything. Btw, we went to Pawworks in the Oaks mall and adopted two little one and worked with a wonderful staff there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OF DAY. The pets’ best interest is not theirs. Give a shelter pet a home.

Extremely friendly staff who know exactly what theyre doing. Jamie ROCKS! All other dog hotels and boarding places refused to take my dog because she was a rescue and they were not sure how she would be with other dogs. Jamie knew exactly what she was doing... And introduced my dog to the others in a very controlled and professional way. Vivian adapted immediately and loves it there!!!! 😊Would not go anywhere else

We LOVE Paw Hills. We have used them for both boarding and doggy daycare and have had nothing but positive experiences. Our two huskies, Oakley & Phoenix, get excited as soon as we turn on Canwood to drop them off and we wouldnt trust anyone else to take care of our fur babies!

I was very interested in adopting a dog at Paw Hills until I found out the adoption fee. They wanted $650.00 for a mutt. I understand that they take care of vaccinations, neutering/spading etc. But seriously $650.00 for a mutt? I will continue my search for the perfect dog as I know he is out there. Just very disappointed in the amount they want to charge to rescue a dog.

I went this facility a couple days ago to adopt what was suppose to be the perfect pup for our family. I called to verify this pup was available the front desk receptionist assured me the pup was there and they were holding her for me. I made sure to ask again because I explained I was driving out an hour and a half for this specific pup. She said yes, so I took the drive for an hour and a half very excited to receive the puppy. When I get there not only did they NOT have the puppy but she tried to give me a puppy that was NOT the one I had inquired about 😡 I told her that was NOT the puppy I had came to pick up she insisted it was. Mind you she tried to tell me that the dog was now 11weeks and had grown and the color on the fur had changed!!! I couldn’t believe it! Then I found their FB page and realized the puppy I had inquired about was adopted on 2/11 and I went on 2/26! Very deceiving and disappointing!!! Please save your time and gas because I drove a total of 3 hours!!

Tracy, I cant thank you enough for the incredible care you and your staff gave to my dog while he stayed at your hotel/spa. It was such a relief to know that Stitches was in THE best hands. For me not to have to worry while I was away for a couple of days, was a weight lifted off my shoulders. Its now a home away from home for my dog.After looking at the surrounding pet sitting facilities in Agoura Hills and being so disappointed in what was being offered i.e. conditions of spa, attitude, lack of experience, and overcrowding, I was so grateful to find you.Aside from the love/care you provide to the animals, you have a beautiful place. I was floored when I walked in. Tracie and her staff have been nothing but amazing! My dog Luca has been going to doggie daycare Monday-Friday for months and he loves it! When I pick him up hes exhausted and is usually asleep on my lap by the time we leave the parking lot. I would highly reccomend Paw Hills! they treat Luca as if he was one of theirs.

****BEWARE DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE************I have used Paw Hills on a number of occasions but not anymore. I picked up my dog a day earlier than originally stated and they gave me a bag of wrong food with my dogs name on it. Not only did they not feed him the correct food and instructions on how to feed him, they gave me attitude when I brought it to their attention. If I didnt pick him up early, I would of never known. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

Ok, so how this place has yet to be closed down is beyond me. They advertise as an adoption agency, but clearly all they have are puppies. They also charge outrageous adoption fees. Let me tell you something, most legitimate rescue groups charge between 150-250 for a dog. Government owned shelters and rescues have a contract that states a 501c does not have to pay for shelter dogs and spay/neutering is free. So you just have to pay for the time and food the rescue provides while the dog is in their care. This place advertise as an adoption in large letters, the website says its a hotel/day care.... what the hell is it?!?! I will tell you what it is, it sells puppies, most likely from some unlicensed breeder, and they disguise themselves as an adoption center/day care. The shame of these kinds of people....

Our dog sitter wasnt able to stay at our home and we took our dogs to spend the night. They have never been in a kennel and are pretty much dog phobic. They were well cared for but one of our dogs came home and didnt eat for a week. Poor guy. Our other dog did fine.

My family fostered to adopt a miniature Schnauzer last month named Freddy. We later re-named him Max. We met him and we (including our son) fell in love with him. Kayla (the manager of Paw Hills) debriefed us about Max, and she said (consistent with the information on their website) that he was AKC, meaning full bred, and that he had been to the vet and was healthy, with the exception of a slightly inflamed esophagus which she represented he would outgrow. Kayla also told us (which was consistent with the website) and in the paperwork we were given that Max was 4 1/2 months old. The Adopt-A-Pet website said that Max had been neutered, which was not correct. Kayla had fostered Max and she told us that sometimes he would vomit, apparently from his inflamed esophagus and eating too fast, but that it had gotten much better. She told us that her vet had seen Max 3 times and he was definitely growing out of the inflammation condition. Regretfully, her representations were not true. After vomiting 6 times in our home in one day, we had to take Max to the vet on an emergency basis. Max has been diagnosed with Megaesophagus, which in his case is a congenital, life-long condition that requires medication and daily attention. This is not a condition that is caused by excitement as Paw Hills insinuated. Moreover, our vet also said that based on his permanent teeth, he was at least 6 months old at the time we were fostering him.As set forth in our adoption application, it had been many years since we had a dog. We did our research before contacting Paw Hills, but research means nothing when the facts are misrepresented by the adoption agency and on the web-site. We were willing to give Paw Hills the benefit of the doubt if there was an honest mistake. However, subsequent events have demonstrated to us that there was purposeful concealment of Maxs condition as well as other facts.First, we learned that there was no medical possibility that Kaylas vet mis-diagnosed Max. He was born with the condition. There are no grey areas. Second, when we confronted Kayla about what had happened, she was cold and impassive. Her response was that we were obviously not the right family for Max and that we could return him which was not an option at that point. We asked Kayla whether Max was diagnosed with Megaesophagus and she admitted their vet had diagnosed him. We asked why she didnt tell us the truth and she said because it scares people. Third, we asked several times that Paw Hills forward us Maxs vet paperwork and his AKC registration, which would have his birthdate. Without his medical information, our vet was not able to neuter Max, administer the rest of his vaccinations or micro-chip him. Paw Hills never responded even though Kayla had represented that she had all of the paperwork. After making formal demands, we were finally contacted by the facilitys lawyer, William Johnson.When we finally received Maxs vet records, they were partial records and showed that Max was only seen twice. We repeatedly asked for the AKC registration documents and we were told that the vet had the records and that the records were lost. Again, this was not true because the vet office confirmed that they never had Maxs AKC documentation. The ultimate last straw was when Mr. Johnson told me in an email, if you dont like the dog, just return it which is absolutely shameful.As an update, Max is doing a little better, but it will be a life-long challenge every day and one that we have come to terms with. We would never think of giving him back, certainly not to a disreputable business that misrepresents itself as being a rescue of innocent animals.
