Poor food quality. I bought this on Friday evening and on Saturday afternoon it already went bad.Poor customer service. I tried to report it on the Pavilions app and the page to report kept logging me out. I called the customer line and the call was cut.Store director called me and was chilled about the whole situation and told me he doesn’t report to corporate… and kept missing the point, it’s the not about money. I complained so they are aware and take the bad food off the shelf! They won’t even concerned that I already stomach the other slice earlier of the day!!!

OMG!! The employees are so helpful and engaging. One young man stopped what he was doing to ask me if I was finding everything I needed. That gave me more joy than I can describe. He didnt have to do that, other stores dont do that.

Cashier Miki was very rude didnt even acknowledge me when I approached. She was talking to another employee when I had greeted her. Later, during our transaction she made a comment/joke regarding my total amount and stated I was checking if you were awake ???? Like no maam I greeted you already we are passed that. Please dont play smart with customers, thank you!

Im glad theres a Pavilion in the Culver City area I usually have to go to further cities to get certain quality our food are variety but this location makes my life easier and I love their fresh tarts .. baked items, seafood, marinated meats and ice cream

You have to give the administration high marks for trying, from sophisticated produce sections to rearranging the store layout in sometimes mysterious ways (putting large plastic boxes of greens in the take-out salad section), to having and then stopping self-service check-out. Also large pet food and deli take-out sections.

They have 1 lane open. 4 people ahead of me have full shipping carts. California is backwards. In Arizona you can our base alcohol in self checkout out. I have 2 items and will be 30 minutes in line. This is ridiculous.

Make sure you get a pavillions card for extra savings this store is nice and clean with friendly employees theyre donuts are delicious here and im glad they have a panda Express in here even though the line at panda Express is long they are fast they also have beautiful deserts and cakes

They sold normal creator made Ginger. Now since February 2024 they now sell gmo man made ginger-hybrid as large as my wrist. This ginger is hard, overly fibrous. Tough and does not have the distinct smell or vibrant taste as REAL ginger. I dont buy Vegetarian sushi from here either since they use this inferior ginger.I dont buy their produce since its mainly seedless gmo fruits etc.I buy from Mexican produce stores instead.The bakery here and the employees make this store a regular visit.

Its a fine grocery store, but all the breads and bagels being out in the open, either completely unprotected or in open bags is a little gross. Theyre at kids height, so whether its grubby little hands touching it, or people not covering coughs and sneezes, theyre just out there fully exposed. Its kind of gross to not have the bags sealed or at least behind closed doors of some sort.

I love this market! I am so happy that I found it. (It is on my way home from work....yay!) It is not too big....but has everything I need and want. It is never too busy....so I get in and out with almost no waiting. They have a great deli, wonderful specialty cheese section, and a Panda Express 😋!The best thing about this lovely market is the friendly staff. Seriously.....they make you feel like they are happy to see you and they are always helpful.You guys know that Grocery Store with long lines and angry shoppers and horrible looking produce????? This is NOT that store! It feels like a Neighborhood Market and grocery shopping is fun and relaxing again!

This is my favorite store to shop. I don’t live in Culver City and travel 15 minutes or so to shop here. There is a closer store on Pico and Fairfax but it’s nothing like Pavilions Culver City.The store is huge, clean, great produce, friendly staff.I just LOVE this store.

To say the least this was my worst experience ever in a bakery.I didnt even know something like this could happen.The lady at the bakery accused me of trying to steal the cake I paid for in advance. The same cake I order every year from this same location... I had to show her my bank statement and receipt. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. She still refused to give me the cake. It was crazy. I had to keep providing my name and phone number. She wouldnt even show me the cake she just started boxing it up. When I asked if I can see she was really rude for no apparent reason. I had to steal a peek at the cake just to get a glimpse of it. She taped every corner of it so I couldnt even see. If I didnt have the opportunity to check and see it for myself I would have never even known if it was my cake or no. This was crazy. I have ordered cakes from this Pavilions for years. I was so disappointed in the experience I had if my family and friends didnt really like this pavilions cakes at this particular location I would definitely no longer come here ever again. I cant believe they treat customers like this. A 2 minute pick up turned to like a 20 minute attack on me. I tried to pay for the cake the same day I ordered it to make sure the pick up was quick because I know I have a lot going on that day although that definitely did not happen thanks to the extremely mean lady hopefully not racist but very disrespectful and mean woman who worked there. Im not quite sure of the womans name who worked at the bakery I just know she was an older Hispanic lady. I hope she doesnt treat any other customers like that. Finally a woman who said she was the bakery manager at the time came out and tried to find my missing lemon cupcakes that somehow were never made I complained about how the other woman was treating me and informed her of what happened. She said she was handled the situation she provided me with the cupcakes and I showed her the receipt for my items and then purchased the flowers I was also getting from the store. She ended up making my mother late for work I was waiting for me outside and making me wait getting my nails done. I feel as though I should have been contacted after the situation and updated or at least apologize to which did not take place at all. Im going so probably look for another pavilions unfortunately dislocation is very convenient and close to the majority of people who I need cakes for and we really like this location until the situation took place. I would definitely tell people I know not to come here but I dont want to ruin their experience just because I had a bad one. I hope this pavilions baby treats other people with respect and that accused of outlandish things. Do better pavilions please do better.

Went in for item that was supposed to be on sale today absolutely no shelf space none of the items were on the shelves at all spoke with someone demonstrating the item and had him to check in the back and they said there was none in the back I happened to stumble upon display that had a few of the items but only a few not the whole selection I think thats actually a terrible thing to do the start of the ad week and the item is not even in the store told me to come back in a week to check thats absolutely unacceptable

I dont always shop at this store because there is a Ralphs about a half mile closer to me, but I may have to drive a little further...this store has really improved. The vegetable section is always beautifully stocked and inviting and the deli looks appetizing as well. I have ordered party trays a few times and they looked and tasted great. I am only taking one star off because I think the meat section could use a little improvement in presentation, but then I am really picky...in general it is pretty good. Did I mention that there is an in-store Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Panda Express? Very handy and yet another reason to stop by. Overall, a very pleasant shopping experience.Update: I am now giving this location 5 stars based on a large deli order I placed a few days ago...I ordered 5 trays and they were all ready on time, and looked and tasted great. If you have never tried their fried chicken I highly recommend it. My family is from the South so we know how to fry a bird, and we were very impressed by this chicken. Very flavorful and just the right amount of crunch. Our compliments to the cook/cooks!

This chain has the best store brand (Signature Select) Salsa Verde salsa that I use for chicken and cheese flour enchiladas and quesadillas. Good for regular nachos or simply dipping with tortilla chips. Yum

I usually stop here to get items I cant find anywhere else. I like this grocery store as it is usually not super busy like others, a big plus with kids. During our last visit we grabbed some items from the deli which we rarely do. We were helped by Gina, and she conviced us to try habanero chicken, it was delicious!! When we walked away my son, 10, said Gina was really nice and had great customer service. I totally agree!!! Gina was super helpful and we look forward to trying new things from the deli.

The store is a clean and staff is pleasant, until you turn down their offer to sign up for a member card. The shift manager working the register had a hint of insult when i said i didnt have a phone number. He sarcastically said you dont have a phone number? Prompting me to explain, not one attached to one of cards. He kept pushing to sign me up, until i got annoyed and rude so he would just finish the transaction and let me leave. One time purchase dude. Yall dont need my personal info to buy salad items.

More of an upscale grocery store, a little more pricey than the rest. Staff are always helpful and friendly. The deli and seafood section has a great variety of top shelf items. The produce section is above average on the quality. Definitely worth going out of your way and checking this place out.

This is a good, fairly upscale supermarket. Its large and has good floral and Deli departments. The store is well-kept, more attractive and welcoming than it was a few years ago. Parking is oddly laid out, but theres plenty of it. Theres a Starbucks in the store, so your shopping visit can easily be well caffeinated.

I got an ACAI berry drink yesterday afternoon. It was delicious & employee was polite, courteous, explained well drink choices. It was my first visit 2 store. Will return again soon. Produce department was well stocked. Floral dept was beautiful and well arranged. Pleasant experience.

This is a great store. Pharmacy, bakery, Starbucks inside and all the rest. I go out if my way to shop here. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Pharmacy has fair prices when you use GoodRX. Self-checkout is available and especially good if the store is busy. Try shopping here. What have you got to lose? Lol. Thanks.

Always a good store that has everything. If theres ever something I want, but I cant find it at any regular or organic market, I will most likely find it at Pavilions. Always helpful employees and you can find one when needed. The store should be open 24 hours since its in a good area and its a large location. They recently brought back a discontinued specific cake that is a friends favorite. Not many places will do that.

Went to the deli to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. I got the turkey pesto avocado for $7.99 and it was delish!! I loved the reasonable price. In this day and age most sandwich shops have sky high prices at $15 for a sandwich, so this was a great price. Added on a soda for .49 (another steal!) And a bag of chips for $1.99. Had a delicious lunch.Will definitely be back.

This grocery store stays open later than others in this zip code. It is really big, it has a Chinese take out fast food place inside. They have great cakes here! And great deals on alcohol, especially if you wait for the sales. There is a large flower section in this store as well.

My wife and I walk here everyday to get stuff for dinner. All of the staff are friendly, and its never so crowded where youre waiting in line to check out for more than 5 minutes. I love the fact its now open 24hrs. Weve also come to realize the fruit is so much fresher than Sprouts and you dont have to deal with the ridiculous line there.

I have shopped at culver city location for 23 years Supervisor Octavia has been working there all this time, she goes straight by the book, shes a employee that we cherish she works hard is caring for new staff. And when she can she says hello asks about our Son Mikey who she met when he was age 4 now he is an adult, he still makes sure he says hello to her when he shops there. Today we are thinking of all the great workers near us. She is number one. 👍🥰

You find everything you need, the meat department employee is always so pleasant and courteous. The only thing I would encourage is for the people bagging groceries to be a bit more gentle and organized when handling groceries instead of throwing them. The restrooms could also be kept in better shape.

I love this store. It always is well stocked and customer service is great. The floral department has great arrangements as well as regular bouquets. The bakery department has plenty of baked goods ranging from cakes, cookies, breads, etc. Whenever were in the area and we need to pick up a few grocery items this is the place we go to.

I use instacart and I am so disappointed with Pavilions. For the prices they have stale bread and outdated bakery goods. I got an 8 buck pecan pie just to have the best buy date of last week. 3rd loaf of bread stale again. Thank goodness the only thing good from there is Boars Head Deli Products.

The bag boy is so dumb and slow at putting things into a bag. Hes just young and big and as dumb as they come. He should just play football or something. First time in many orders delivery was late.Called Help number on online order. Terrible connection. No help. Called store directly and call immediately answered. Delivery checked and I was assured it was on the way. By the time my call ended the delivery was at my door. Staff were extremely helpful and responsive. Cudos to Culver City store staff!

This place is beyond great. Im visiting from NYC and the entire staff here, from the shelf-stocking folks, to the cashiers, to (ESPECIALLY!) the late Monday night security guy, are top notch. They dont just seem, but, in fact, are, happy to help you find what youre looking for and do everything in their power to ensure your trip to the grocery store is not only successful, but enjoyable. Because Im visiting from out of state, Im not entirely sure what level of fancy Im dealing with here, but Ill tell you this: aside from the price tags, it really feels like this place is the top of the top shelf. The only thing lacking is the pretentious vibe you get from most of those high end grocery stores.Honestly, I couldnt recommend it more (in case this review wasnt glowing enough.)

I came in this morning to Starbucks this morning to buy something & while while waiting to be attended I noticed the woman was very rude. She had some attitude, wasnt very welcoming at all. At first she mistaking my name drastically. But the gentlemen before me couldnt even finish his sentence before she asked what he wanted in his drink. This has been my go-to grocery store for years. I pass a smaller Ralphs to get here for my regular shopping. The store is large and has a much bigger selection of products. But good grief the staff is horrible. They are slow and lazy and will barely go beyond the bare minimum of what they have to do to check you out. Checkout clerks will not help bag or, if they do, theyre so slow about it that their help is negligible. Baggers are nonexistent and if there are any, theres only one handling multiple checkout lines. But they also do the bare minimum. I dread going to this store anymore. Theres no appreciation for the customer.

One of the ladies in the floral/balloon department was extremely rude and unwilling to help me. Had her coworker help me and once I made my request for a birthday balloon with the second employee, the rude one said that they didnt have any. I’m usually not negative but the wait time at this grocery store seems to always be long! There are no self check out lines and the express line is usually not all that Express. The parking is wonky and weird. The store is clean. Large selection. Prices seem a bit high. I’ve given the store SEVERAL chances but I don’t have the time to deal with the hassle of such long lines.

Very clean store. Very organized and items are easy to locate. Fruit and desert sections are well displayed estremely eye catching right as you enter the store. It makes you want to sample a little of everything. Everytime Ive been there, nothing seems out of place. It makes you wonder if people really do shop there. Must admit there are 2 setbacks. Much too pricey for my budget, even the clearance items are not a bargain. And second, the late shift workers are a little stuffy. If you ask a question, prepare for a serving of attitude alongside your answer..for me, this store is only useful, if you need that last minute item after dark because youre in charge of snacks for the class the next day, and you just found out at 9pm Otherwise, hit up Walmart or Target to get that big bad bang for your dollar.

I went to this Pavilions on 11/17 to get my booster shot and was absolutely shocked by the pharmacys blatant disregard for public health regulations. When I arrived, I was directed to a waiting room. Once in there, I noticed that one of the other two people waiting there was not wearing a mask. On top of that, she was talking loudly about how she was unvaccinated. She is allowed to be unvaccinated but local regulations REQUIRE that people wear a mask. Since I have pulmonary disease, I didnt feel comfortable being in the room with her so I left the room and informed the pharmacy staff of the situation. Instead of asking her to put a mask on, they said I could wait outside. I did, and when I went back in to get my shot, we passed the lady once again, and she still wasnt wearing a mask. The nurse didnt even ask her to put it on. I absolutely would not feel safe going there again.

The service at the checkout was pretty slow. Line was long and there was no sense of urgency to get the customers on their way. The cashier was talking about going home soon. I wish I could have gone home sooner.They had some great prices on meat due to a sale and the service at the meat counter was very good. $9.99 / lb. for ribeye steaks AND for filet mignon. Great bbq day ahead.

Its always cool but they had the security guard mysteriously make a round when I shoped for my kids after my shift at 9:30pm. Just saying it isnt the first time. To make matters worse they were looking at a shop lifting camera when I got to the counter to pay and the Manager says Hes not stealing anything. I have tattoos and Im a little rough around the edges but my money is real and hard earned.

Pavilions(es?) are big grocery stores. this one has an entire panda express inside of it. im not even kidding. you can get chow mein and eat it WHILE YOU ARE SHOPPING. its a shining jewel of western civilisation and urban convenience.that said, they have great selections of all the food items youve come to enjoy consuming throughout your lifetime. and self-checkout. and its a spacious, clean place.what you WONT find, for some reason, is the larger size of dunkin donuts whole-bean coffee. like, never. its not in stock. i think its because they sell their own bulk beans... which are fine. but weird and polished. who polishes coffee beans? they dont have to be shiny. im ok with the matte finish. can you guys just stock dunkin again? its really good. this is not a review of dunkin donuts coffee, but you might as well know that its pretty good. when you can find it. but you wont find it here.

The Pavilions in the Marina is excellent... which is why this is such a disappointment. The somewhat novel layout means wide aisles in the middle of the store, and little mini aisles everywhere else. The beer and liquor selection is middling, while the produce has this odd, Hey, theres that weird mini vegetable from Chopped but why cant I find leeks? thing. Seriously, they have cherimoya and dragon fruit sometimes, but I spent 10 minutes hunting down a shallot. Its a shame. Half the staff are great, and half are texting their managers to get out of their shift. Butcher stands out as great staff, but product is limited.If you need a super market, fine, but hit the Sprouts otherwise. Not nearly as convenient as it should be. Theres a Panda Express inside, which just makes it more surreal. As for parking... the carts have that anti-theft brake, but it goes off about 3 rows from the end of the parking lot. My shins!

My first visit to pavilions I step in I’m already past the registers and inside looking and a large light skin woman, say I need to go outside and around to enter even though there isn’t a line. In SUCH a confrontational and rude aggressive way. Pavilions is an Albertsons company. Ever heard the phrase the cake is a lie? Thats any Albertsons, Safeway, Vons or Pavilions store. Like chicken tenders? I mean, who doesnt right? Buy chicken tenders at Pavilions and you get are slices of chicken breast battered to death. At least at any Kroger store (Ralphs, King Soopers, City Market) the Chesters Chicken tenders are chicken tenderloins that are lightly breaded, just as they should be. Once upon a time I was the head baker at an Albertsons in Colorado Springs. They dont even reward employees for their hard work but give them token raises on a pay scale. My manager couldnt give me a raise because the company wouldnt let her even though I was doing by myself what took 3 people to do when I was hired. Also, dont buy their meat. Its bad mkay? If you comparison shop youll know exactly what I mean. Lastly their prices are higher than Kroger for the same stuff.

I have been in this Pavilions only once before, and was not familiar with its layout. I was approached by Steve who asked if he could help me....even tho he was obviously working on something else. I told him thatI was looking for Matza BALL soup. There were plenty of matza ball fixings, but no broth with the balls in it. He said that he was not familiar with such, but immediately got on his phone and called his supplier. Within minutes, Steve told me that the soup will be delivered on Monday; he took down my phone and will call me when the soup arrives. He even texted me just to be sure he had the correct number.THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE. I will continue shopping at this store even tho it’s past other grocery stores. Thank you, Steve. I look forward to hearing from him, buying my matza ball soup and other groceries from now on.

I used to always be a Pavilions/Vons guy, but now that Ive encountered Trader Joes and Sprouts (which is very nearby), its hard to go back. Pavilions has a huge selection, which is really the main thing that it has over the aforementioned places. The quality of the produce, the brands they carry, and the variety of craft beers they carry are all overshadowed by better grocery stores nearby. I wish that it wasnt the case because Pavilions is very close and very convenient, but if I have a choice, Ill usually end up going somewhere else.
