Love!! Have their fresh pass and its worth it! Free delivery & lots of times to pick from. Pick up option is great. Shoppers are pretty good at picking out quality produce!! They have a better rewards & coupon program than ralphs or any other store. Customer service chat is helpful as well. Love this grocery store overall!

Had an unpleasant visit to this store this morning. The self checkout machine skipped one of the discounts from the weekly digital coupons I had clipped. The attendant at self checkout had no clue what to do and she went to get help. I waited almost 10 minutes. Employees kept stopping by and asking me what the issue is and would then disappear. They were not able to resolve the issue or figure out what to do. I ended up having them remove the items from the scanned items and I paid for the rest of my stuff. Never had such an experience at any of these chain stores. Wont go back to this store again.

Burbank pavilions, I would rate above Whole foods.....Plenty of variety with quality products..... staffs are friendly too...Fresh vegetables, frozen foods, Dairy products, Bakery, Wine collections etc etc is too good....Bakery and fast food counter is having plenty of varieties....Inside the store they have star bucks and us bank....Plenty of parking place outside...

Had an incredibly disturbing, weird, and inefficient experience at the meat department today. Asked the individual working there, with the name tag “Yancey”, to please give me a little less than a pound worth of carne asada. He then, without wearing any gloves, with a disturbing look on his face, proceeds to pull out the meat into the bag, weigh it (it was 1.34 pounds), and wrap it in paper with his meat juice covered hands, with absolutely zero expression on his face, and gave it to me over the counter. I couldn’t even take it so I just walked away, what an absolute nut.

I encountered a young employee named Eric who helped me at checkout. There was no interaction from him - no hello or thank you. He rushed the older woman ahead of me before she had even gathered her things. This is the second time at this location I’ve encountered such poor customer service (luckily the other employee appears to have left). I’d like to shop here since it’s the closest store to where I live, but I won’t be returning.

This review is for their pick up service. Every time I order there is either something missing or the wrong version is bought without me getting a notice to replace. Will not be using this service anymore. So frustrating. I called once I got home but was asked to call back tomorrow as no one in that dept was there to help me. Writing this after the 3rd time of this happening.

This store has improved so much since it has been renovated. The sushi guy is fun to watch and his tuna sushi rolls look amazing. They have fancy saki too. This store has a wine tasting station and the wine people are knowledgeable. I love the produce section. It is pricey but worth it. The self pay line needs organizing though. I was in the makeshift self pay line and a famous elderly guy came in from the door and looked me in the eye and said Hi There surprised I said Hi back and he promptly tripped over the mat that is designed to save the employees back and legs but it is warped. Im so glad that he caught himself. Please fix;)

Go somewhere else. Staff is always rude. After my experience today with the night shift staff I decided I will no longer shop here. I used the self checkout and the staff seemed annoyed that I needed help. I had a Pavillions gift card and when I asked for help with checking the balance she rudely said no….. Im not sure what her name was but she definitely should not work in customer service.

Today I picked up an online pick-up order from Pavilions on Alameda in Burbank as I have done once before and this time I was stunned to see the Living Lettuce the packer selected. The selection of this item by ANYONE would suggest the packer did not even look at it; it may not have been offered in the store produce any longer. Doubt there will be another order placed.

The management in this store, specifically in the mornings, is terrible. This was my go-to store for the past 6 years. I was going in there nearly every single day, minus time during the pandemic quarantines, but today was my last. Over the past several months, their customer service gets worse and worse, one morning cashier, in particular. She constantly has a long line and Management refuses to have a second register open or even a single self-checkout option. After several recent frustrations during my morning pop-ins on my way to work, today was the day I finally broke. From the moment I entered, the only open lane had a line all the way back into the produce. It wasnt very busy in the store. The (same) cashier was overwhelmed as usual. I heard at least 4 calls for someone to open another register and no one came. I was in the store for all of 15 minutes getting my 3 items and when I went to check out, the line was still just as long. I asked an associate stocking the produce if there was anyone in the store who could open a second register or one of the self-checkouts (which I hate because people need jobs). They said the cashier had called for someone several times but he hasnt come. After a couple of minutes, a gentleman (employee) appears and takes the woman in front of me. I followed. The woman didnt understand why using Apple Pay Tap wouldnt allow her to get cash-back. So, he left with her to go do her refund. I stood there at the register for several minutes watching the other lane continue to build. I had to get to work, so I left. No, I did not take my 3 items with me. I dropped them off at the service desk on my way out. The management in this store seriously needs to get it together. When the customer service in a business is lacking, Management is whos to blame. Do better, Pavilions.

Their breakfast bar only every has dried out sausage for breakfast meat, NEVER any bacon as you can see by the empty sparkly clean pan. At 7:45am only 4 pieces of the dried out sausage links are left (which some will eat anyway when its the ONLY choice EVER). Note to store: most people like bacon more then sausage links ESPECIALLY when they are served dried out.

I fail to understand how an alleged top tier grocery store such as this, can consistently and habitually be out of distilled water. It cannot be a supply issue as literally any other store I go to has abundant supply. Target, Ralphs, Walmart, heck even the 99 cent stores!. It can only mean that the person who places orders here is severely inadequate for the role. Very frustrating.

Sales on seasonal items are always a big draw for me. There are a lot if tempting ready-made items and the seafood display is impressive. They have a new wine area with a fancy walk-in glass house cooler and a bar where you can (presumably) sample them. Who needs a Napa trip when theres Burbank Pavillions?

I did a great grocery store pickup for Super Bowl supplies. I ordered regular groceries, & another order from the deli. All the items were quickly loaded into my truck. Its a great service!! I highly recommend it.

Everything you could want here. The prices are good. Sales are very good. Their produce section is extraordinary. Try the roast turkey breast and a side dish/ salad from the deli with one of their many fine wines. Dinner couldnt be easier. A visit to the bakery section is a delight.Store is very clean. Plenty of parking and such a nice, helpful staff.

I have a serious love/ hate relationship with this store, which has remained my go-to, even after moving out of the immediate area.The good: massive selection of products that beats every other store in the area, including Vons. Prices are really good, especially if you shop deals and use the online membership coupons. I’ll frequently save $40 or more on large trips. Most employees I’ve encountered are very helpful and good-natured. Wine selection is enormous.The bad: I HIGHLY recommend checking the expiration date of any perishable items you buy, because this store frequently has items that are close to or past their best by date. I’ve seen mixed salad that was wilting, moldy cheese, and outdated bread all sitting on shelves. Fruit will often be shriveled and gross. Honestly, whoever is in charge of produce should be let go, because it’s really unacceptable.The pros still outweigh the cons with this place, but with a little more effort this Pavilions could live up to its promise of being a premium grocery store.

I love this store and most of the employees, but Gloria who works in deli department is something else. She goes above and beyond to make sure each customer gets what they are looking for . She does it with enthusiastic and loving attitude. She always gives me positive energy and makes my day . I hope store manager knows and appreciate her . This is always been my go to place to find new products. By the freshest produce. Parking can be a little tight sometime but I always find a space. Store is super clean, the employees are extremely helpful! The bakery is fantastic. Their deli is so much fun there’s always new products. My favorite thing right now is going adjacent to the deli and they have prepackaged meals. And they are a great price. You get an amazing meal and you have so many choices. You can pick up salads, Asian, Mexican, American style meals and lunches. The salads are so much fun and very ample. If you’re in a hurry and you want to grab some thing and get something to drink that’s how you start the minute you get in the store you can pick up drinks and then head straight back across from the deli on both sides and find something delicious. I love their selection of the K cups for the Keurig. And their meat department is wonderful. I love that you get many choices on any other products you’re looking for like olive oil, spices, vegan food. I have been coming here for years! And it has evolved into an amazing store. Like I said their customer service is fantastic. Hope to see you there shopping you won’t be disappointed especially in the item I save for less their wine department is the best!

The majority of the staff, including management, should be fired IMMEDIATELY. This is, by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. EVER. I get that everyone here hates their job, I get that that they hate the customers, but is it too much to ask to treat customers with a shred of dignity and respect? Staff is aggressive and makes disparaging remarks towards customers. Corporate needs to step in immediately or I smell law suits.

Due to the geography, this is not my go-to supermarket in Burbank, but its location on the far southeastern flank is strategic for me (its the closest supermarket to the Pickwick ice rink, and thus a good place to stop at when I need to catch a last minute bite before hitting the ice). When my mom was alive, we shopped here a fair amount together, and I used to do my banking here, although that branch is no longer here. So I dont come here that often today, but it has served me well in the past, and more recently, I realize that I can get a quick and filling meal (deli goods and a bottled drink) for a reasonable price. This market does what any good market does, which is to have some really great deals which should not be passed up, and whenever I walk through these doors, its pretty easy to find those deals.

This place was amazing at one time. During COVID-19 things have changed. I can understand that. Well its been long enough now to adjust to the times. You use to make hot breakfast sandwiches right when you opened and now you dont do that anymore. The company I work for, me and the guys come in every morning. We loved coming here for your hot breakfast and supplies for the day. When you work hard in high traffic trying to do your job and not get hit by someone not paying attention. Its nice knowing you at least have two hot breakfast sandwiches waiting for you in the cab of the truck.So if you can have sushi ready to go at 6:30 in the morning. Could you please throw some hot breakfast sandwiches out there for us. Greatly appreciated.

I love coming to this location simply because of the beautiful selection of flowers they have and the beauty section. 🤩 I love it also because its clean parking is not a problem they have a STARBUCKS inside which is a plus. On my most recent visit I had an issue using Apple Pay to complete my purchase and an unfamiliar error message was appearing. The associates were all confused at the message and I really needed the items so I asked (Yanira or yahira not sure her name, but she was a blonde young hispanic female) if she could call technical support or find out what the message meant. I had already called my bank and they assured me I was not being declined. I honestly just wanted an answer. the young lady rolled her eyes and walked away. when I asked her to not roll her eyes at me, she turned from a distance rolling her eyes again and claimed she did not roll her eyes. she then attempted to engage in a back and forth encounter and when I asked for her supervisor, she rolled her eyes a third time, and did not get her supervisor, but instead went to another register to bag items. While she was bagging several other associates gathered and began engaging in conversation while looking at me which made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Luckily a woman named Sherri was able to turn the experience around and offer understanding and kindness while doing her best to get to the bottom of the situation. At this point I was exhausted from the situation but I was humbly grateful for Sherri.

Pharmacy refuses to deliver something unless I have a card there on file, but wont take the card number over the phone, even though i have been a customer there for 2 decades! The store manager, Mark says they will deliver the meds but the head of the Pharmacy said they wont. They need to ger their act together. What happened to customer service in this country?

This is my neighborhood Pavilions, and I always have a great experience when I shop there. The manager, Cheree (hope I spelled her name correctly), her employee Jeffrey and another lady (I forgot her name) were SUPER helpful in the checkout process. Not sure if you are as tired of the pandemic or just gave up. For years we found your venue superior to other markets, including local Vons.Your employees, who always have been your strength are now bringing you down. This morning, one of your employees walked across your store with Starbucks for another employee. I watched her walk with her face covering well below her nose and other employees not mention it to her. we walked towards your checkout when she now walks back across your store. I asked her to cover her nose and got, “it fogs my glasses”. I’m taken aback that other employers and customers wear glasses. If we are wearing masks to protect others from us, we don’t feel your store and employees are doing your part in protecting us. If wearing a mask is a condition of employment then please enforce it. I must wear a mask at work and to enter your store. Your employees can do the same. This is not the first time this happened at this store.Other stores are insuring our health and safety. It’s easy to say, then go to another store, it’s your obligation to enforce face covering mandate.

I tried their tuna salad sandwich that tasted sooo bitter and Im sure it was already expired! then I asked the gentleman at customet cervice if I could change it to something else since I was unable to eat even half of my sandwich and was still hungry! He was very nice and helpful and let me get a beef sandwich instead which I still regret that I tried that one too! I couldnt have more than two bites of it and immediately threw it away! Store is lovely. My first time going to a Pavillions since 1992/3.The staff are SUPER sweet and friendly. The friendly vibe and helpfulness of the cashiers and even the other staff feels GENUINE. These are very very good people here. I dont feel like something theyre reading a script to. These people genuinely care and are very very nice. 🖤The selection of goods here is incomparable. No other store be it a super duper walmart or any other colossal sized retailer can compare. I require no membership, or personal forklift, loading dock, 59 tractor-trailer with accompanying multi axledPeterbilt and a full warehouse crew to shop here.Everything is literally perfectThey also have cherry coke in 2 liters. Everywhere else where Im from does not! If I could rent a studio in the roof I would 😂

They renovated recently, and store is beautiful. Lots of hard-to-find items for those who love to cook and cant really find an ingredient. Bakery does an amazing job in breads/bagels. Huge selection of wines and other liquor. Flower corner is always full of grab-and-go arrangements, as well as custom.

I love shopping at this location. I only get over here a couple times a year but I always stop. The store is always clean, smells nice, has friendly employees and lots of everything to select from. They have a florist, not just buckets of flowers, a Starbucks, wine tastings, a bakery and a meat counter to order anything your tastebuds desire.I strongly recommend Pavilions, Alameda in Burbank.

Decent place to shop if you want to spend $$$. Overpriced for many things, really only a good deal when taking advantage of the Safeway promotions like must buy 5. Bakery is good, better than Vons, but also pricey. Fresh meat department has a funky smell all the time. They are trying to be high end but it is the same exact products as Vons about 1.5 miles away. Self-checkout is a nice feature. Avoid the sushi though..trust me.Editing rating from 3 to 2 stars to add that there is A LOT of price errors happening here. Coupons that dont get taken off, etc. Check your receipt before you leave.

Since the update of the store they have brought in more variety of items, including good selection of seafood and meats. William helped me choose a selection of fish and a few cut of meat and even offered to grilled them, he was a very nice person. Disappointed lately at quality of some organic produce, particularly oranges, and absence of organic grass-fed lamb and beef, and alcohol spray bottles. Nevertheless this is my favorite neighborhood store and hope it stays that way. Its a beautiful place with a gigantic selection and enough organic produce to rival a whole foods, but still has all of the normal Staples of a supermarket like chips. This Vons Pavilions selections is off the chain. I love there clearance area. The store is always nice and neat. Personnel are very welcoming. Their hot food selection has been upgraded no more Panda Express. But truly homemade food. Cheese selection great. Bread and dessert selections awesome. A much wider selection of fruits and vegetables than your normal Vons. A good source of vegan and gluten-free food items as well including ice cream frozen foods vegan chips and snacks and chocolates. And a vast array of plant baste burgers and sausages and Foods. It is a must check out.

I only stop by for the pharmacy. The people that work there are very friendly and professional. They are very well organized and have an overabundance of products available.There used to be a Panda Restaurant in the middle of the store but some renovations have been made and its no longer there. So I stop by the Starbucks kiosk inside and pick up a coffee and a scone if Im in the mood to munch on something.Dont forget to take your discount card if you shop here. Everyone has one.

I have been shopping here for years. Unfortunately, the customer service has really declined. No one looks happy. If employees are stocking shelves etc. they dont greet you like they used to. Prices are much more expensive than their competition, and on several occasions items have been shelved incorrectly therefore, being overcharged at the register. No longer a customer.

I love this store but am rethinking my loyalty for safety concerns. I’m a regular customer for groceries and the pharmacy but I’m hoping someone actually reads this review and does something about my major concern. I usually go there at night after work and sometimes right before close and I’m now stopping that for safety reasons. The homeless man (long hair, always wearing a cream colored jacket and sometimes playing a guitar) who trolls the store and harasses customers, including myself (5’1 young woman) so many times I’ve had to have managers and male employees walk me to my car multiple times. I sooo appreciate that they are continually doing that with serious concern for me and I asked have asked multiple times why he has not been permanently removed. Their answer is that the Burbank police have been called a million times yet nothing is being done. This store does well and a security guard should be assigned to this location at dusk for the safety of all but especially female customers. Please do something before something really awful happens. I beg of you.

I have to say that this place has the worst customer service anywhere. I have called several times in the last 3 days to find out if they have an item in stock and everytime I call they either just hang up or push the hold button right away. After a few minutes on hold it will begin to ring again just for them to pick up receiver and slam it down or push the hold button again. The online site is horrible. Tells you that they carry an item but doesnt tell you if they have any in stock so you dont have to make a trip for nothing.

Pavilions is the upscale version of Vons, a little pricier and some better, more high end products. Originally I hesitated to shop there since its pricier than Ralphs but when you download the Pavillion app, in the just for you section they give you great savings on the products you regularly buy and often $5 off your order. Also you get free products such a fresh cooked rotisserie chicken or something else that you cant say no to. Pavilions is always clean and well stocked and youll enjoy shopping there

I wasnt going to share my experience but after your corporate offices failed to take full responsibility for my traumatic,emotional and embracing experience and compensate me for my damages I think people need to know! If youre black especially a woman & plan on shopping at this store you read to keep reading. On Oct 11th me and my coworker who both are black women were racially profiled by your store employee who then called the police on us based fitting the description of a passed shoplifter from weeks ago?! I couldnt believe what was happening especially after I spent 120.00 worth of groceries in your store! That doesnt even make logical sense. Then to walk out of your store to be surrounded by 3 Burbank SUV cop cars who harrassed, questioned,detained and ran out i.ds. Like we were criminals. I was so scared and frightened for my life. I didnt if I was going to be shot & killed or even falsely arrested. Because nowadays black people get harassed &killed for no reason by police in this similar situation. After we were questioned like a criminals I asked the Burbank police officers why they were harassing us they said it was your employee. This was the 2nd time for my coworker (who is also a Black woman) who experienced this with. She & another Black woman was stopped on a different day while walking in the shopping center of your store and was held there by the Burbank police until one of your employees drove up and told the officers no thats not them . Its obvious that your employee is racist people who is racially profile Black women and are calling the police on any Black woman who shops at your store or even in its vicinity. I gave your corporate offices an opportunity to right this wrong because my family &I spent alot of money in your stores over more than 20 years but instead your corporate offices blamed the Burbank police department. Realy?!! They would have never came if your employee didnt call them on us without probable cause. This is the thanks I get for being a loyal customer and paying for my groceries. Corporate did apologize and wanted to reimburse me for my groceries but I refused because the stress embarrassment, being frightened for my life is more damaging than $120. Pavillions you should be ashamed and outraged for having employees who racially profile its customers who shop there on a regular basis. Lots of different cooking oils and vinegars, and if youre trying a new recipe with an exotic veggie or something, chances are they have it here.The recent remodel makes the store feel larger and brighter, and theres a better selection of products now. I always appreciate Boars Head meats, and I cant say that I miss the Panda Express very much.I have to remove a star based on something bad Ive noticed following the recent remodel. Theres a big section- with sizeable signage- dedicated to homeopathic preparations. It is located next to the pharmacy! Homeopathy is pseudoscience and it is irresponsible to market it as anything other than such. They could have installed a psychic healer here and itd have the same scientific veracity.

A resident there Ina Merlo, whom I befriended, asked me to take her to the market, to which I agreed. It was the PAVILIONS on Santa Monica Blvd and Vine- If Im wrong, please correct me.It was fabulous. Ina told me she loved PAVILIONS because, although more expensive, the fruits & vegetables were nice and fresh, the meats always the best, etc. With my owns eyes, and being a FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR, I agreed with Ina. I have been going to this grocery for more than a decade now and tonight around 9pm was a first worse for me and my kid. As we are getting into our car two of the employees named willow and genesis per Shirley the supervisor approached my kid from the passenger side. They asked my kid if he paid for the candy straight up. Of course he didn’t and they can look at their cameras. The thing is you don’t go asking minor 11yr old directly especially if accompanied by an adult much more a parent. I started shopping there when they were brand new up until 2007 when I moved out of state, was in town Sept. 2018 went in there and could not believe how it looked in there, if they did a recent remodel I cant imagine what it looked like before, dirty parking lot and the whole shopping center, even the Alpha Beta that was on Main and Alameda and even Vons that was across the street was cleaner.
