One of the best and authentic Pav Bhaji i had in bay area. This is a new place with very limited menu, actually only Pav Bhaji in Menu. They also have fresh squeezed juice as well. Staff was nice. Overall ambience is great as its a brand new place. Parking is ample.I am sure they will add more things to menu soon but must visit for all Pav Bhaji lovers.

Amazing Pav Bhaji located in a quiet shopping outlet with plenty of parking and a light rail nearby! Pav Bhaji Pav bhaji is a quick dish from India made with a thick curry (non-meat) and served with a soft bread roll. You dip the bread in the curry with some fresh onions on top! It’s amazing and worth a try! You can get Spicy (which is really spicy) or normal!Although this is really an Indian street food, the place is nice and has a street food feel to it! The menu is very simple and the food is excellent! Take advantage of the wonderful Indian food in Sunnyvale and give this place a try! It’s a wonderful mid afternoon snack or even a meal!Highly recommended and worth a try!

They only sell pav bhaji and cold pressed juices. Not the best pav bhaji I’ve had in my life but still very good. Since they only sell one thing the service is super quick. Friendly service. So far this is the best pav bhaji I have had in the US. The texture of the pavbhaji met my expectations, and the consistency was also perfect and the flavor of garlic, was also nice. And the only thing missing was that it only had a bhajji and nothing else. For me, I can’t only have this as my dinner I would probably want other things like masala pav with it.

I dont care if youre a vegetarian or the biggest meat eater in the world. The reality is this food will change your life. I dug into this stuff like a rabid dog that hadnt seen food or water in weeks. I would swim in a pool of Bhaji if I could. Extra Pav is mandatory.Im gonna be honest, if Im ever rescued from like a prisoner-of-war type situation where Im severely malnourished, I want them to serve me Pav Bhaji Hut every day until Im the fattest man on earth. This is the kind of food that leaves you dreaming about it even years later.Please, please do yourself a favor and absolutely demolish a plate of Bhaji with extra Pav. For the price, the quantity is far too low. The pay bhaji itself is watered down as compared to a Mumbai pay bhaji. Taste is average at best. I was still hungry at the end of it and two pavs with good amount of butter usually is enough for me. Not enough butter in there also. And cheese is extra 3 bucks!An extra pav for 3 bucks is robbery. This has to be the best pav bhaji I’ve tasted in the Bay Area, very very very close to typical Bombay style pav bhaji. The masala pav is good too, but nothing beats the cheese pav bhaji. The best garnish is the cheese, which I believe is desi Amul cheese. The food truck has got a nice vibe around it and the service is pretty quick, despite the long line. It is a bit on the spicier side, but we all love that kind of spice in our food.

Happen to visit a family in San Jose. Heard about this sensational place. So we decided to give it a try.This is a food truck, no ambiance is expected.Parking is a huge mess, so many cars since this place offers so many choices of food trucks.We ordered a takeout of regular Pav Bhaji and a spicy one. Regular Pav Bhaji was very flavorful, The spicy one was nothing but added spicy powder. The bread was kind of disappointing, it was not grilled enough, it was dry in the middle. In summary was it worth the hype??? I would say hmmm… kind of ok. Let me know what you think.

Definitely one of best Pav Bhaji outlets in the state. The place has a good balance of ambience of an open counter joint and god eating place. The graphics on wall is pretty good too. 2nd visit- Tried the regular Pav Bhaji. It is spicy, but not as Spicy as the Spicy Pav Bhaji. If you cant tolerate any spicy this might not be the place for you.I found the Spicy Pav Bhaji a lot tastier and more complex than the Pav Bhaji. Spicy is my favorite so far.Also Bhaji seems to me heavy on tomato product. If you are allergic, beware.---I had never had this type of Indian food before and it was amazing. Had the spicy pav bhaji. It was not too spicy for me, but it could be for some. Umesh, the owner gave me a quick run down on how to eat this dish.You take a piece of their bread and spoon out some of the pav bhaji. We were recommended Pav Bhaji Hut from our friends. Wife and I were super excited to try it out. We made our trek from Pleasanton to Sunnyvale yesterday with expectations of having the first bite of the bhaji bring us close to remembering why this street food is loved by many. NOTE: the food truck is tucked away between a gas station and an office parking lot. There are a few spots you can use and most cars kept rotating fairly quickly.We love spicy food so we ordered one spicy pav bhaji, one spicy cheese pav bhaji and a regular one for the kids. Sadly, both of us were disappointed. The spiciness was just a few extra spoons of garam masala. Every bite just felt muted with the same flavor of garam masala. We did not taste any other flavors in the bhaji. We appreciated use of Amul cheese and butter but it was not enough to save the muted taste. We will give it another try if were back in the area but will not be making a special trip for it. FYI, there are two other food trucks at the same location. Wed recommend trying them out at the same time instead of going straight for pav bhaji. Hope your experience is better!

The place serves up some amazing pav bhaji and some combos. The food is delicious and can be eaten in or taken out. They have minimal seating areas and the parking spots are limited. They do accept cards for payment. The bhaji can be a lot so I had it with extra pav which was a good filling lunch. It can get pretty crowded on weekends. On the other hand, week days are usually very free.

Pav Bhaji was ok, not very flavorful, however, the Vada Pav was very very spicy.We informed the guy at the counter about the high spice levels to see if they had any sweet chutney to counter it, the response from the guy at the counter / owner was very deplorable. Instead of offering a solution or a simple sorry we can’t really help as it’s pre made, the guy made us feel bad about ourselves saying it’s us and not their food. It was very tasty, It was spicy. Well that is the whole idea of Spicy Phav Bhaji isnt it. They give enough bhaji, so order an extra phav, it will come in handy. Absolutely loved the Pav Bhaji. We got the regular one, not the Spicy or Cheese version. No idea whether it is “authentic” Mumbai like and we couldn’t care less if it wasn’t. There are four kinds of pav bhaji available spicy and cheese varieties. Its a food truck but seems to be very popular with the Indians in that place. They serve Masala chai which is also quite popular. They have a very interesting day of giving tokens. I happen to stumble upon this truck today. I usually hit the Mexican food truck next to it. This the first time Ive had indian street food. Ive had a lot of Indian food in the Bay before, but Ive only seen this Pav Bhaji stuff on YouTube. So it was great that I a chance to try it. To me, I havent had any thing else like it around here and I thought it tasted great. However, I do agree with all the reviews here that its quite expensive for what it is. This food truck is my go to place. For the very first time I took my husband there, he had spicy pav bhaji he was surprised that the taste of the bhaji he said it’s totally similar like which he had in Mumbai. Been first time at this food truck last night and the experience was beyond amazing. Their expertise in Pav bhaji goes to show the crazy crowds they gather even in the times of pandemic ( socially distanced though) and on top of that they had a bunch of takeout orders from food delivery apps as well. The Pav( bread) was crispy to be good enough and not overly done and as well greased just fine. Bhaji ( the vegetable concoction) was perfect and the condiments along with it made it taste heavenly. The loss of 1 star on the review attributed to the tea that we had at the end as it tasted really bad. Probably a scope for improvement in that aspect though otherwise if you ever have a craving for some good quality a Pav bhaji, dont think twice and drive around to grab a bite.Definite recommendation!!!PS: The parking sometimes gets a bit cramped but if you wait a bit you can get a spot or two. Good was warm and tasty.The folks too all safety precautions during this pandemic.We visited during a Sunday afternoon and the place was not packed. But, its difficult to find parking. There are other food options as well.Overall, great experience and wood return to have some Pav Bhaji again.

I had the worst experience in this restaurant. I ordered Pav bhaji and they sent me smelly bread and the pav bhaji was also smelling like hell. They have put a lot of oil so there was no taste of spices. Only the smell of oil was there. I would never go back here again

Pav Bhaji is good. But why do they have to put a $2 extra fee, is someone is ordering over phone? Why do they want to waste time of customers standing there waiting for the order, when they can call over phone and save that time? Does the customer convenience not matter to them?

It has one of the best tasting Pav Bhaji in Bay Area. I am from western India and we are very particular about our Pav Bhaji. This is one place where the taste is as close to the original taste as it can be here. Cheese Pav Bhaji is pretty good

Authentic Pav Bhaji place. It is a food truck. Tasty food. I like both Pav flavors with/without butter. No space to seat. Generally people get it to their Car and eat. You may have to wait 5-15 mins to get your order.

I was told that this is the best pav bhajji in bay area and I was so excited for it, had called my friends too for dinner... but it was total disappointment... it just tastes something else... we ordered 7 pav bhajjis, 3 with extra spicy and 4 regular and all tasted bad... we went there 2 days back on a sunday evening so may be it has to do with a weekend. Total disappointment, not even close to being a decent pav bhajji... there were folks from the bay area who have eaten here and they too hated it... they were apologizing to us for taking us to eat such a pav bhajji...PLZ AVOID FOR SURE !!!!

Let me just start my experience with WOW. This was the first experience I’ve had with a food truck THAT DELICIOUS! When we first came to the food truck, it was freezing, and that’s coming from a Minnesotan! We were all shivering and desperately wishing for warmth. This pav bhaji was our savior! The Spicy Pav Bhaji was so warm and delicious! Our taste buds were just BEGGING for more as our mouths continued to water. The pav bhaji made us COMPLETELY forget about our cold. The food was being made right in front of us as well, so that was a plus. If you ever have the chance, definitely try this!

Its a food truck without any seating space. Be sure to ask for a sample of the spicy versions of the pav bhaji before ordering it. Its crazy hot. It wont match up to what you get in Mumbai or even Gujarat... However, its beautifully dipped in makhan, tastes pretty good and is extremely reasonably priced. On a good California day, its awesome to stand around your car and eat it. Else, recommend taking it togo.

These guys are expanding and now have their new location in Fremont, Sunnyvale and Redwood Shores. Also, they intend to open stores in Berkeley and other locations in Bay Area. Their website updates information regularly.Great taste, excellent packaging fast turn around. I have tried placing order both from Door dash as well as in person, and in each case my order was ready in a couple minutes.Really like the detail in their execution - they pack all condiments needed for the entree.

Pav Bhaji Hut has the most authentic pav Bhaji I have had in the Bay area.. Way better than what we get in India in fact. They have a very restricted menu, offering only few variations of pav Bhaji, but totally worth a visit.

I will never go there again. Food truck is highly mismanaged. I have never waited for an hour in open air to get my simple order of Paav Bhaji. Phone bulk order gets priority over people waiting near the truck to get their order. I can’t believe how any business can ignore and insult customer at the door steps. No courtesy to tell about long wait time while taking order. Overall experience is negative for premium priced food

The food was tasty but I was charged for an extra pav that I didnt order and it wasnt even included in my order. Overall, I feel its a bit expensive place. The tax rate is too much 10.25%. I havent seen such a high tax rate in any restaurant in the bay area before.

I went to this restaurant last year with my uncle and his best friend and her son and we had an amazing time, great food, some of the food looked like tortillas but I dont know what its called and it was nice vibes, the waiter was really friendly and happy to prepare our orders.
