My first interaction with Mr. Young occurred on Sunday, January 7th, at around 2 pm. During this very brief meeting that only lasted for 15 minutes, my husband, who was out of town at the time, joined the meeting via FaceTime. That same night, Mr. Young sent us a DocuSign document, leading us to believe it was a summary of our brief meeting, including his proposed listing price, marketing strategies and plans for staging our house.Despite my husband suffering from Parkinsons, feeling unwell, and being out of town, he signed the DocuSign document assuming that it was the summary of our earlier meeting on that day. Subsequently, Mr. Youngs persistent calls and texts until late on Wednesday, January 10th, around 10 PM, for me to sign and finalize the contract added to our distress. The following day, Thursday, January 11th, with my sisters help to translate, I read the DocuSign document; thats when I realized that what we had signed was not a summary of our discussion with Mr. Young, but, in fact, we were bound by a 6-month exclusive listing agreement. I immediately called Mr. Paul Young, on the same day, January 11th. seeking clarification. Shockingly, Mr. Young claimed that it was a binding contract. We requested the contracts cancellation, but to our surprise, Mr. Young and his broker Sunnie Guo demanded a $50,000 cancellation fee!At no point did Mr. Young discuss the final listing price, terms, duration, and conditions of the DocuSign paperwork with us. His initial lowball evaluation of our house was not acceptable, making it impossible for us to consider such a price, marketing strategies, or associated fees. This lack of transparency raised significant concerns, especially considering the nature of our investment in this property, which serves as our primary asset for retirement.I am appalled by Mr. Youngs and his broker Sunnie Guo behavior. Mr. Young spent only a brief 15 minutes with us and failed to provide essential details about the contracts terms. It is unreasonable and unjust for him to demand such a significant amount for cancellation without spending or investing a dime except a 15 minute of his time for an in-person meeting.

Pauls in house staging service is amazing! Dedicated interior designer, professional stagers, on time and great friendly attitude, completely transformed our home into a model home!
