Excellent experience! Sheldon was well-prepared and extremely knowledgeable. He informed me of every shot and medication for my travel destination along with the associated risk, high or low, and shared the CDC recommendations. I felt well informed to make the best decisions for my travel plans.Sheldon administered the vaccinations, which were pain-free, and I walked out of my appt with every medication (and bug spray) that I needed for my trip without needing to make a separate trip to the pharmacy. Fantastic convenience. I would highly recommend Passport Health in Sunnyvale.

I never give reviews but I think this experience is worth one. Catherine was absolutely wonderful! She spent considerable time going over each of our required/suggested vaccines to ensure we were well informed for our upcoming trip to Africa. She was also quick to respond to questions both before and after our appointment. Would absolutely recommend using this location for any upcoming travel needs!

Catherine was super easy to talk to and felt comfortable to ask any questions to her. Her travel experience is quite broad, which made it easy to trust her judgement. She was super friendly and bubbly, making my visit way more fun than I thought it would be...considering I was going to get scary shots. I did not feel pressured to pay for more immunizations than necessary. I will keep Catherines number on hand in case I have any questions before my trip. I 100% recommend Catherines services to any travelers.

Edited. Unprofessional reception.Wakes me up at 8am to cancel my appointment 1 hr before. Normally this would be fine, but good service would be to be apologetic and work to get a good new time. Instead, the agent had a rather rude tone and offers to book me in two weeks. I say that my trip is too close to the new date. She says, Yes it seems it is. Full stop. At every point I have to suggest alternatives in a groggy state to try and figure out a solution to it. I ended up finding my own new booking at a further location that was much sooner, no thanks to the agent.

The nurse, Catherine, is so nice to talk to! I immediately felt a connection with her and felt comfortable sharing my health history and voicing my concerns. You can tell she really cares about your health and your safety when you travel, and is more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you have. I highly recommend coming here to get your vaccines and medications for traveling abroad. Granted, I had to wait a bit before my turn, Catherines attitude and information she provided more than made up for it.

Our experience with Catherine was very nice. As soon as we stepped in she was so welcoming. She spent a whole two hours with us giving us very useful information on vaccinations and even more. She made an active effort to address any other concerns we had. Ive been to another travel clinic before and the doctor there was very rude and did not give good advice. Catherine however made sure we were getting what we actually needed and not anything unnecessary.

Getting the printed booklet - very detailed to the areas I will be traveling was a definite plus so I can review the information at home. Catherine was super helpful. I am leaving for 6 months, and wasnt sure of all the destination I was going to visit so I kept bugging her. She gave me good advices on how to be healthy/safe in all the places, and the minimum requirements for each products to use. She also had all the vaccins ready on my first visit. It was very fast. She has experience with traveling herself which makes me go there with confidence.

Very informative, prepared to answer questions concerning the +/- of the various vaccinations, meds, and other preventatives specifically recommended for my travel intentions. Courteous, professional. Suggest looking up the list of all possible meds and vaccinations before visiting and discuss with PCP to see if any can be covered under insurance; some can and some cannot. With that preparation, it is easier to choose which to accept without need for further research.

After visiting Passport Health, I realized that my experience at another travel clinic did not exhibit the same professionalism.Catherine provided helpful information regarding recommended vaccines and tips to stay healthy abroad. Wow. Catherine was so amazingly helpful. I had simply come in for a specific vaccination but Catherine made sure I knew all I needed to know about the country I am traveling to. She also walked me through exactly what she wrote on my vaccination documents so that I was informed when passing through immigrations. Had I not already had significant experience traveling to developing countries and spending time in the back country, I can only imagine how incredibly useful her information about avoiding the travelers blues and methods to prevent mosquito bites would have been. The SV clinic environment is very clean and the staff is nothing less than professional. Going in to review what you need when traveling to places like Africa can be overwhelming. My advice for first time visitors is to allow an hour or two for your visit and to know you may need several vaccinations, all depends on where you travel to. I actually look forward to my visits to the travel clinic. Catherine is wonderful! For me, the travel clinic used to be the kinda scary bit you had to get out of the way before you head off on an adventure but Catherine is full of knowledge and gives great travel tips.Here is a perfect example.. I have travelled for years and being bitten by mozzies was a big issue I had to deal with on every trip. I’m allergic to them so the bites got nasty! This year I travelled through several countries in Asia & I got right out there in the jungle. Not one single bite!! That’s a first! A really nice first & it’s all down to The lovely Catherine!There are more of these examples by the way. Lots more. Go see her, she will keep you well without getting all doom and gloomy on you.

Is this expensive, yes? Is it worth it, yes! My husband and sons are planning a month long trip in Africa, we are bouncing among various cities/camps/countries. Catherine spent time understanding exactly where we would be when, and suggested the appropriate course of action including various options. She spent a great deal of time with me teaching about what I needed to know, how to care for our family and coordinating schedules for shots. While she made things easy, since she had everything we might need for sale, nothing was a hard sell and I felt in complete control. My husband and one son were able to get their immunizations through their insurance PPO. While they got their needs filled at a FRACTION of the cost, I definitely feel like they didnt get as detailed info as I did. My other son is at college in a different state, so it was great to know I could send him to an office there and hed get the same level of care. Bottom line is, for my purposes, and the complexity of my trip, Passport Health was the best solution.

I was going on a road trip through 20 countries and contacted Passport Health, at the last minute, for a Tetanus shot. Catherine Bali who was the travel consultant started working on my case even before my appointment started by asking me information about my trip and requirements via SMS. During the consultation session itself, she was equal parts expert travel consultant, painless injection administrator, and excited globe-trekker! I went for a tetanus shot, but returned with a ton of information and advice on various travel health related issues and how to handle them (everything from how to handle altitude sickness to how to check bottled water before buying!). They also gave me a printed booklet that included countries in my trip along with US consulate contact info in those countries! Very friendly, informed, and helpful folks!

Upon walking into the Sunnyvale Passport Health office, I began what I could tell was going to be a lovely experience. Catherine Bali greeted me at the door and led me into her office space. While educating me on the different diseases of South America, it soon became obvious that the most infectious thing in the room, was Catherines smile. She prepped me on using all of the necessary medication, and even delved into the specifics as of what to expect if for whatever reason, I was to contract something. Needless to say Catherine made what shouldve been an ordinarily dull experience, and turned it into a fun, informative, but more importantly thorough session on safety and health in rural Suriname. Misleading PCR test result time. I went in for a COVID PCR test on Thursday. The nurse let me know that processing times were between 48-72 hours. I called Saturday to check on my results, and was told processing time was going to be 72 hours, so I moved my flights. On Sunday (72 hours) I still had not received my results. I called again and found out the officers were closed, so I moved my flights again as the results would now be invalid for flying because they would be over 72 hours old. Today is Tuesday and I still have not received my results. The customer service representative I spoke with was very understanding and said that they would process my refund, but then a supervisor called back to say that Passport Travel would not be refunding me because of the agreement they had me sign saying results might not be available in 72 hours. I understand I signed the document, but I think it is extremely misleading to represent your services as travel covid testing if you cannot guarantee the results will be available within the timeframe required for them to be valid for travel.

Terrible experience for COVID-19 testing. It doesnt matter how convenient the locations are if they cancel your appointment without telling you, and you find out from the poor woman at the counter when you come in to get your COVID-19 test for traveling in 3 days. Why did they cancel? Because they want to take off New Years Eve and Day. But today is the 29th, so clearly they dont process it in any expedient fashion, and they want you to pay how much and they dont accept insurance? I was willing to pay for the convenient location, appointment time, and understanding the test results would be out on time since this is for travel, but apparently they cant guarantee any of that. Nobody contacted me in any fashion that they were cancelling. I even received an appointment reminder YESTERDAY for this appointment that they cancelled. Horrible service and management.Good thing I remembered that Carbon Health has a travel testing site near the SJC airport (meant I had to take additional time off work to go all the way over) for cheaper rates and they guarantee their test results to be out by 2PM the next day.

Easiest process ever!! I was in a hurry to get the Yellow fever vaccination and of course everywhere was out! I thought I would have to cancel my trip. To my surprise Cathrine got me in super quick handled all my paperwork and questions then sent me to Oakland for the yellow fever vaccination (only available location). It was a breeze. So if your looking the vaccination dont fret the process is some much easier than youd think. Also heads up I paid 285 for everything that includes the shot, superb customer service, tons of info, and both appointments.

Horrible and pure scam!! Arrived there at 9 am after one hour wasting my time, she just said that they don’t have vaccine there and I need to drive to Oakland (39 miles away)!!! I had only 2 hours off from my work then I ended up to get the whole day off because the lack of transparency & integrity in their business! Charged me $85 for consultation that I didn’t ask for it at all!! I kept telling her that I have my own doctor and insurance and I don’t need her service but she ignored me as she doesn’t understand me !! She was just talking and didn’t tell me why I am here if she doesn’t have a vaccine there?!! After one hour showing me some CDC information printed version & some generic over-counter medicines and Home Depot bug spray, confessed that they don’t have vaccine here and I need to go in other branch although I paid there!! she gave me this expensive bill for a “normally $50 vaccine”. Charged me in total $354 plus I drove to Oakland for vaccine & whole day off from work! SCAMMERS! Not only that but she couldn’t describe even the diseases and the side effects of medicine/vaccine and she told me “look up in your phone with your own original language for it”!!! In that point I even hadn’t any word to say... Insulting & robbing at the same time!!!!

Made me sign a waiver that stated that I couldn’t hold them accountable if I got the test result after 72 hours. When I did ask the receptionist, her literal response was “you signed the waiver, you can’t sue us now” & also said that they’ve been receiving test results after a period of more than 72 hours AFTER I signed the waiver, which is really frustrating. There’s no point in marketing themselves as a travel medical entity when they can’t fulfill basic requirements and they have a norm where delays are tolerated and they’ve systemically set up a policy that let’s them deny accountability. Horrible experience & I haven’t even received an email about my results yet. I’m expected to call you to get results ? Inexcusable behavior.

Nasrin spent just about 1 hour and 20 minutes (there was no one after me and I had an extensive list) to do her best at a comprehensive review and consultation for the 9-11 countries Ill be visiting in the span of 365 days. It was tricky, but she and I were able to go over many important vaccines with handouts and maps for visuals, which were integral for my understanding and note taking. Nasrin was not only thorough, knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient, but she helped me build more confidence and excitement for my up coming trip!Nasrin even called me a few days prior to inform me that the Yellow Fever Vaccine I wanted was out at the Sunnyvale location. ( I filled out an online form that was part of registration when you make an appointment on their website). The vaccine is currently administeres in Oakland and San Diego.They also emailed me a 69 page comprehensive PDF file including the countries Im visiting, areas of exposure to the multitude of diseases (malaria, cholera, typhoid, meningitis), American embassies, VISA info and so on.This place was very cozy and personable. I didnt feel rushed and felt cared for and prepared.Thanks so much! I recommended this place to all my friends right after I left my apt!!

Too too too expensive! A yellow fever vaccine cost me $464 in total, including $89 service fee and $375 vaccine fee. They do not accept insurance. My son went to Safeway instead, it only cost $55 consultant fee, and the vaccine $208.69 is covered by insurance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!My son and his girlfriend were trying to return to Canada where he is living now. They called and told them the day they were travelling, to where and what they needed. The scheduling person booked their test for Wednesday morning. They needed the test done within the 72 hours of travelling.On the Friday afternoon, they still did not have the results... they kept promising they would be uploaded right away. Finally at 10 minutes before check in closed, someone finally told me that they were not going to be processed because they had a spike in business because of an outbreak in Arizona. So the only thing they could do is refund them their money. As a result, they missed their flight and had to pay over $320 each to rebook.This is a HORRIBLE experience for us. Would never trust them.BEWARE!!
