We are planning a trip to Paso Robles and having trouble getting a feel for the area...wineries...accommodations...all of it. I found this site and gave them a call. Lauren was awesome. We reached out for information about an upcoming visit to Paso Robles. Lauren provided an excellent overview of the area and made some great suggestions for wineries to visit, most of which would not have made it into our list of preferred sites. She also gave us the back story on the wineries so we have a better idea of their history and personalities. Our plan to visit the Paso Robles wine country was pretty much last minute. We had an extra day in hand and decided to explore but we absolutely had no idea where to start. Decided to give them a call and made it just in time before the closing hour. We didn’t have time to plan our trip in advance, and coming down to Paso Robles just as lockdown is being let up, we found it very difficult to figure out things on the fly... That’s where Lauren came to the rescue! She was absolutely wonderful, took her time to walk us through the web site and help us evaluate the current state affairs, texted us some useful local information, made insightful suggestions on which wineries worth visiting in a first place, which are open and where we can make a reservation on a short notice. I called in to ask about covid restrictions and to confirm whether most of the wineries were still doing reservation only. I spoke to Lauren who was so kind and helpful. Drove to this beautiful wine country from Anaheim. Nice manageable 5 hours drive by Fwy 5 and then went west on 46. Very nice town and area -Great wines, restaurants and visitor friendly. Came back by Hwy 101 and 1. Roads and scenery are fantastic!Love the area.

Our hotel is listed on the map and all the wineries which will help us plan our days. Its such a complete map. We were reminded to make some reservations, which was excellent advice. I really appreciated the wine coupons, and the gelato shop recommendation! The curated wineries list email was also outstanding and helped us find out about Monochrome Winery (which has only whites), which I doubt wed have discovered on our own. I recommend this website to everyone, and Im very much looking forward to our visit.

Lauren from Paso Robles Wineries was instrumental in making our Paso experience incredible. Because it was our first visit (and visiting during a pandemic), I called Paso Robles Wineries to see what was open. Not only did Lauren send a list of wineries doing tastings with detailed descriptions, organized by geographic area, but upon request she sent a list of wineries where we would be likely to meet the winemaker. We ended up booking 3 tastings and were able to meet 3 winemakers at 3 different wineries. Our experience at Gelfand Vineyards / Dudley Vineyard was hands down what made our trip. Kory, the new owner and winemaker, was able to see us out of normal tasting hours, and spent hours chatting with us about life, wine, and business. We had no idea what wineries reopened and not only did they have a list, they had maps that you could search for a specific part of Paso you were heading to. Lauren directed us based on what type of winery we were looking for eg. - big/ commercial is not for us. Saved so much time vs. searching Yelp and calling around. The best map that is the easiest to read and is the only map that has every winery, brewery and distillery on it. Paso Robles Wineries has the largest downtown and Tin City map. The staff is so knowledgeable, we discovered some gems thanks to their help. Hearthstone, Four Lanterns and Brecon Wineries were amazing. Next time youre in Paso, definitely call Lauren and her team to get the most out of your visit, I know we did!

Paso Robles Wineries is a great tool for those of us who dont know the area and want to navigate to wineries on our phones. I liked the wine tasting trail selection, mapping and directions. Note that when you are out in the countryside I found it was best to insert the address I was starting from rather than depend on GPS figuring out where I was. In town GPS is spot on. I also thought it was cool to email notes about the wine I was tasting.
