I have been to too many dental offices over my lifetime. I have had numerous terrible experiences over the years. That all changed when I was highly recommend to see Dr. Christopher Marchack, aka Dr.Chris. From the very first time I met him I knew he truly cared about his patience. He was so very kind, patient, honest and smart. His main goal was to get best results and not do something that does not need to be done. His entire staff is fantastic. It is like one big happy family. This type of dental office is a hidden treasure and I’m so glad that I finally found it. I am ever so grateful to Dr. Chris and his entire staff. I have been going to Dr. Marchack for the past 25 years and he is the best around. I’ve had so many issues in the past with my teeth before going to him, and he has saved literally saved them and has always done right by me. I live an hour away from the office and I still will ONLY go to him.People ask me all the time why I would drive so far when I could go to a dentist right near me. I always say because it’s worth every second of my time and gives me complete peace of mind that I will be taken care of by everyone there. From the hygienists, to the office staff and the dentists themselves, you can’t go wrong. I know I am in excellent care with Dr. Marchack and his entire staff. Everyone in that office are very friendly.Dr. Chris Mar hack is very honest and kind. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and I only have one crown a couple of years ago., I was told before by another Dentist that I needed root canal and other things done that I didn’t agree with so I looked else where and someone referred Dr. Marchack. first appointment Dr. Marchack said that I didn’t need anything done but cleaning, that’s when I learned of how honest they are. I recommend Dr. Marchack’s office. Doreen and Marissa are very friendly and they always find a way to work with you.

** My experience with this practice has been and continues to be superior!** Because of chronic illness, I lost the one physical attribute that meant the most to me, my smile! As a result of a complex bacterial infection (Lyme), in order to save my life I had to have all of my teeth, multiple implants and some of my jaw bone removed… all before I turned 40. My worst fear has come true and I remained completely toothless for over 10 years. Finding Dr Marchack and his staff has been life changing. I’ve been treated by many individuals in the dental profession previously and I’ll admit, I’m extremely particular about my teeth (silly given I didn’t have any for so long) and those that work in my mouth. I have never found a dental practice that does such an exceptional job and my experience with each and every individual has exceeded my expectations! Dr Chris Marchack is truly gifted, meticulous and has an amazing eye for detail! His dental assistant Amber is aware of my needs without my saying a word, she’s sweet, gentle, observant, caring and has been an huge comfort since day one! The hygienist(s) do a great job and haven’t caused me pain while still making sure my teeth (implants, gums, etc) are thoroughly clean! Ray, the ceramist works miracles in their on site lab, he sees every tiny imperfection and makes the needed changes there on site. The front office staff is so helpful and pleasant, that reminds me of appointments, greet me with a smile and genuinely care about the patients. The end result is, I have my smile back!! My teeth look being amazing and are almost exactly like they were originally while being a perfect share of while that never had to be whitened. Dr Marchack and his team have given me far more than perfect looking implants… I have my smile back and the process has been great in spite of my unique needs!

I avoided the dentist for more than 12 years (long story involving multiple therapists). I was still hesitant when I went in for my first appointment, but Dr. Chen and the team at Pasadena Prosthodontics have been amazing. Fun fact: skipping 12 years of dental visits means you’ll probably need a great deal of work done, but I’ve been so comfortable with everyone there, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice of dentists.

I think they clean teeth really well. They can be gentle when they need to be and they can also be more aggressive if they need to be. I like that they keep track of how your gums are doing after each visit so you know where in your mouth you need to work on to see improvement. My only issue is that it is very expensive here. For a cleaning, X-rays, and an exam the cost is about $350.

Doreen and Marisa at the front office are always welcoming and accommodating.The hygienists who have taken care of me throughout the years, Anna, Jean, and Joan, are caring, excellent, thorough, and always a pleasure to chat with. They diligently note and discuss with you any problematic areas that need to be observed over time. I really appreciate this conservative approach where treatment is done only if it is necessary.When I had to get a few fillings done, Dr. Chris and his assistant Amber, make you feel completely at ease. I always hated getting injections as a kid, but with Dr. Chris, I never felt any discomfort during a procedure. He ensures that you are comfortable at every step and tells you exactly whats going to happen next, which helps to alleviate any anxiety.I accompanied my father to a few appointments for his implants with Dr. Chris, and I appreciate how Dr. Chris is thorough and honest when discussing treatments and listening to concerns; it is a friendly, unintimidating conversation and I appreciate how he takes the time to listen and answer any questions. I had quite a bit of work done to repair some teeth that were injured and repaired years ago and then those repairs having failed. Initially, there was a bit of an emergency level to my first visit, but Dr. Chris got me sorted out straight away and developed a plan to take care of all of my existing concerns. The five implants went smoothly over 16 months or so and I now have a great looking smile again and a very stable bite. Its a process and it really does go to plan. Good team! Dr Marchacks office has been taking care of my teeth for over a decade now. I originally came as part of the dental implant process but the office now sees to all of my dental needs. I have been a patient of Pasadena Prosthodontics for over 20 years, receiving routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, and dental implants.This is a family practice that treats its patients like family. It provides stress-free, pain-free (as much as possible), compassionate services.The hygienists are caring (they always ask if the patient is feeling discomfort and take steps to alleviate it) and careful record keepers (because the dentists are conservative, they will always monitor a possible problem rather than immediately propose a procedure). X-rays and cleanings are difficult for me, due to limited jaw movement; I would not go anywhere else for routine dental services.The dentists take as much time as needed to explain procedures and recommend options, if any exist, always keeping in mind cost, possible pain, and the likelihood of a successful outcome. Dr. Baldwin devoted a great deal of time to correcting an implant problem created by another practice, including devising an ingenious solution.The offices are impeccably clean and the atmosphere is calming. Although I canceled most other appointments during the pandemic, I had no fear of going for dentist appointments.The following story epitomizes this practice: One year I fell on my front teeth over the July 4th holiday. I left a message with the answering service, not expecting to receive a return call. But Dr. Baldwin called me back from vacation almost immediately. Dr. Chris and assistant Amber opened the office the next day (still during the holiday weekend) just to see me.I give the highest score to Pasadena Prosthodontics in all areas.

Dr. Eugenia Chan thoroughly examined and found a few cavities that needed to be filled. I had yearly check ups elsewhere and got missed on those! My main concern to see Dr. Chan is to discuss the appearance of my front teeth. I had wanted to change my old front crowns and after her thorough consultation, I chose to go ahead with the treatment. The result was beyond amazing. The ceramist came in during try in appointment and delivered what I exactly asked for. I am so happy with my beautiful smile!

The staff was very friendly. I was provided a tour before I got my procedure. The place is very clean and my dental chair was covered in disposable plastic. There was a classical music playing in the background which helps me stay calm. Dr. Chan was very friendly and explained what I needed in a way that is easily understood. We had a nice chat while waiting for the anesthesia to set in. Some dentists try to make a conversation during treatment but she is not one of them which is good because its hard to do that while the mouth is open. It was a wonderful experience overall.

I’m think Im uniquely qualified to review a dentist office. I wasnt dealt the best genes in terms of my chompers. I’ve been to six different dentists in about as many years, some good, some not and Pasadena Prosthodontics is, by leaps and bounds, the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of calling mine. They are so kind and welcoming that I’ve honestly come to consider them friends. Not only is Dr. Chris skillful but he’s kind, funny and I always look forward to catching up with him. But most importantly, he provides me with the tools I need to make informed decisions about what happens inside my own mouth. For the first time in my life I feel like there is a cohesive, well explained plan in place for the extensive work Ive had to do (some it repairing work other dentists have botched over the years). Dr. Chriss assistant Amber is lovely, warm and extremely skilled. She and Dr. Chris make me feel very safe and taken care of. Joan, who cleans my teeth, was excellent too and actually taught me as a 49 year old man how to REALLY brush. A lot of you might be surprised to learn what youre doing wrong. My entire experience there has been extremely eye-opening and Im not exaggerating when I tell you that they have changed my life. If you have any questions or nagging doubts about your own dentist I encourage you to visit them. They actually give you a tour of the whole facility (which includes their own lab, by the way, which is rare to say the least!) Love this dental practice. Dr Eugenia Chan is a excellent Dentist. She is very sensitive, proficient, knowledgeable, and efficient. I just open my mouth she clean, scrape, mend and work on my teeth. Next thing I know she was completely done. I did not feel any pain and I feel like I was playing house pretending I went to a dentist. I was so comfortable visiting this dental office. They had a lot of precautions in place since I was early they have me wait in car so they limited number of patients in office. When u in the office they had germ air filter blowing in each patients area. The team are all wearing face masks, shields, medical gowns, and they were constantly changing gloves as they were working on my teeth keeping things very sanitary and clean. I have been staying home so has been afraid to visit doctors office or go much places. They made my dental appointment very pleasant and easy to visit. I will surely be back next year and year after for my dental needs. Thank you Amber for my great whitening procedure that I have done in addition to my general dental procedures. Great experiences. I feel so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Marchack when I needed to have 2 crowns made for my front teeth. Dr. Marchack didn’t view me as a patient, but as an active participant in the process of giving me my smile back. He and his staff are caring, knowledgeable and always professional. Even though I was pleased with the initial crowns that were made, he insisted that they could be better and went on to give me crowns that are indistinguishable from my natural teeth. My only regret is that I can’t give him and his staff more than 5 stars.

Dr Christopher Marchack did my work and I can’t tell you how much trusted him and his skills. He is a warm and caring man who gave me several cheaper options when I told him my budget was limited. He even discouraged things I would ask about that would have cost more because they just weren’t right for me. His integrity is apparent in his service. I have been during the Covid 19 era and they are really quite safe. They use Face Shields and Masks, and they were doing this before the pandemic. Every room is sanitized after every patient. I feel completely safe going to my appointments.They take the time to get to know their patients and make you feel welcome and safe. Every option for treatment is explained. There is no up sell. My children have been going here since they were born. Because of the welcoming nature, my kids are not nervous to go to the dentist like a lot of their friends. I came here to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Eugenia Chan. She did an excellent job at explaining to me the procedure and what to expect. On top of that, she and her staff were friendly, competent, and meticulous. I was immediately put at ease, even though I was facing such a daunting surgery.On the day of the surgery, Dr. Chan performed with great care, explaining each step as she operated impeccably and reassuringly, all the while checking to see if I was doing alright along the way. This is an overdue review but here goes! I unexpectedly bit on a piece of bone and broke my tooth. I called Pasadena Prosthodontics right away and they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Dr. Eugenia Chan explained that I would need an inlay. Bummer! But she was able to get it done the same day! I was relieved that I wouldn’t have to miss an extra day of work. I had a great experience as soon as my dental appointment began when Dr. Marchack gave me my shot... I asked him, Did you give me a shot yet? His reply was Yes. I did not feel anything AT ALL...no pain nor discomfort from the dreaded shot! I was elated. The rest of the procedure was professional and done expertly. Dr. Marchack even made sure & asked if I was still blissfully numb & comfortable during the appointment. My temporary restoration looks great and I was able to chew comfortably with no problem at all. Amber & Dr. Marchack are a great team. They work so well together and the procedure went so smoothly! I am happy Dr. Marchack is my dentist.

I so appreciate everyone at Dr. Marshaks office, from Dorie running the office at the front desk, to my lovely hygenist, Anna and the thoughtful, kind and effective Dr. Marshak. I have been getting my teeth cleaned here for years and after years of postponing it, finally took action to get my veneers replaced. To my relief, Dr. Marshak was able to remove the old veneers and polish my natural teeth WITHOUT the need for new veneers. It was lucky that my natural teeth hadnt been filed down too much; and it was thoughtful and wise that Dr. Marshak was concernrd enough about the financial outlay to me of new veneers, that he was careful to remove them and see that this could be an option.I have a friendly and caring relationship with my hygienist, Anna and I truly respect everything that Dorie and Dr. Marshak have created/built together.Oh, and their Covid precaution protocols are truly state of the art!!

I cant praise enough the co-operation this practice has with Dr. Amir Aalam, a leader in his field, who performed difficult surgeries here in the Pasadena office using the most innovative technique in periodontics and today, I finally have healthy gums and strategically placed implants. When for years, due to painful and bad experience with teeth cleaning I used to put off my oral hygiene visits now, ever since I met Anna who, with her impeccable skills, kindness and outmost care tends to my regular oral hygiene, I am looking forward to my dentists visits. They have responded to the Covid 19 epidemic in the most responsible way. They only allow one person at a time to go into their office, they have air filters in every room, each staff uses complete PPI, they disinfect the room after each patient, they cover the dental chair with new plastic for every patient, there are desinfectante pumps in every room. I was so impressed and felt very comfortable being in their office.

Dont even consult with this dentist. Itll be your demise. Nothing but life altering, pain and suffering. The cost of undoing and redoing the damages he causes is quadrupled.Be aware of the discrepancies posted on his website where he references In 2012, the American College of Prosthodontists inducted Dr. Marchack as an honorary memberas a part of his qualifications contradicting what California Dental Board requires, considers, and recognizes that such qualifications are only valid fordoctors who take additional two years of training which recognize them as Prosthodontists enabling them to perform such intricate tasks and procedures.Such discrepancy severely limits what can be delivered versus what can be expected. The cost of any procedure here is not inexpensive and restoration of any such work presents significant cost overun and burden to the patient.As one, I am and have been suffering for not paying attention to connotations between honorary and truly learned and earned knowledge.The cost of undoing his work has been astronomical and prohabative for me to say the least.
