Beautiful setting. Surrounded by many food choices. We saw America Got Talent..the show itself was wonderful but I would give that 3 stars for mismanagement of audiences. They need to operate better getting people in, get a loud speaker so we can hear them..not yelling on the top of their lungs and we still cant hear! It was a beautiful weather so it was tolerable but to stand 3 hrs waiting outside?? Sad to say Im not attending again. I wasted 3 hrs of my time and Im impatient when I get older.5 stars for the auditorium only.

I was able to attend a live taping of America’s Got Talent at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. It was super fun to be in such a beautiful auditorium surrounded by other America’s Got Talent fans. It was spacious enough to hold over 2,000 people. I sat in the bottom level of the auditorium and got great seats. I was able to see the judges clearly and the sound was just reverberating off the walls. Beware that the nearest parking center is on the first level so you have to go through a building and take an elevator up to get to the auditorium. The parking only cost $15 on an event day and there was plenty of parking available in the morning. Make sure to get there early to line up to get your physical tickets to make sure you get a spot near the judges. It’s really packed outside the auditorium when they make you wait to get inside the auditorium. You have to pass through the metal detectors, but there are tons of places to take pictures outside the auditorium. Once you get inside you have to wait in the packed auditorium outside the doors to get your seat. There were judges chairs and an AGT backdrops to take picture with your group. Make sure to get tickets for this amazing show as it is super fun and well worth your money and time.

The venue is beautiful a bit unorganized but nothing out of the ordinary. I was honored to attend one of my nieces graduation on May 19,2024 as she received her Master’s degree.Unfortunately my other nieces toddler wasn’t feeling well and as to not disturb the rest of the audience my niece decided to wait outside of the venue until the ceremony was over her husband decided to join her . At one point her husband had to go to the restroom. A female security rudely approached my niece and told her she had to leave the area . My niece asked if she could wait until her husband came back from the restroom as she had her toddler with her, flowers, drinks …. And needed help to move. The female security basically told her she needed to move not acknowledging my nieces request whatsoever. The security company definitely need’s BETTER training as they also kept shouting very rudely for everyone to exit as people were just reaching the lobby. Please Do BETTER!!!

Second year in a row the family has gone to Anime Pasadena at the convention center. We loved every minute of it, so much fun. Really love how this year all the panels were in the civic auditorium, perfect place for some of the panels. Cant say enough amazing things about the event and venue. Perfect weekend yet again.

Went to a live taping of Americas Got Talent recently. The theatre was beautiful and in great shape. The staff was helpful and got us in and to our seats super quick. Im assuming the staff is maybe a little different for the AGT shows but I would love to come back and visit for another event.

Friendly and helpful staff. A very nice auditorium built a long time ago when people were smaller. If youre 6ft+, have fun fitting in the seats and getting your knees burned by the seat in front of you. I also witnessed many heavy people spilling over into the next seat. Slightly uncomfortable for the average American but a nice place to go.

Went here to Audition for Americas Got Talent. Not sure who was show staff or civic staff but everybody was really nice. It was clean and in good condition, about half was carpeted. Lots of parking structure nearby, but plan to do a little walking.

Been here for 2 concerts and one convention. staff inside the auditorium is always friendly, outside has varied but honestly those are usually from the touring company anyways. its always very organized except for when exiting, which makes sense. because theres not much space in the front of the venue, long lines can and will curve around the building into the following streets. also, good luck on the parking LOLstray kids (first two pictures) were section orch lc, row g.the boyz (last two pictures) were section orch center, row d.

It was my first time at this venue to go to the Lego brick convention. It was a bit overwhelming, a lot of people, even though they intend it to meter out everyone’s tickets to to our time windows. It kind of felt like it was still way too many people, and not enough events for all of them because for the kids to enjoy one Lego centered activity was a 40 minute wait in line like this was not Disney how is it like this so I don’t know if I would go again with that large of a crowd

The only thing keeping me from an absolute 5 star rating was the exorbitant liquor prices. Beautiful atmosphere, seats werent too crowded and fairly comfortable, sound was adequate, and staff very friendly. We had an extremely pleasant experience and Bill Burr was beyond hilarious!!

Historical edifice in Pasadena. Great space. Ive been here for other concerts, classical, theatrical & rock. Bernadette Peters was great!.Sadly the chairs need to be replaced, with larger & more comfortable ones. Im not a big person--53 125--there were two larger people on each side of me who took more than their allotted chair size, spilling over into my space.Would be great if more comfy, roomy seats would be installed.

Went here for a concert on Jan. 23, which was really great. The venue is quite intimate and you can see the stage fine from the upper levels. I dont think theres a bad seat at all, because you can see the stage pretty clearly even if you were on the orchestra floor.MAJOR complaint: they did not do bag checks or have any security detectors (that I saw). I arrived ~30 min before the concert started, and I went through one of their big entrances, which they did not scan/check my bag; only checked my ticket. Supposedly they were doing other bag checks, but not where I had gone through. This normally wouldnt be such a big issue but *there was a massacre in Monterey Park literally the night before during Lunar New Year.* With the increasing crime and gun violence, they could at least ensure proper security. Ive been to numerous concerts and venues across several states, and they ALWAYS did a bag screening each time.As an Asian-American (who was also attending an Asian concert), it was very discouraging to see this happen and caused a lot of anxiety. I hope they manage to implement better security measures in the future. My heart goes out to all the victims and family members that were affected by the massacre.

Enjoyed Bernadette Peters concert but was very disappointed with the parking and lack of traffic control. Other than the parking attendant at the parking booth, there were no attendants directing parking. The line to enter was long, and entering the parking structure was very slow. Cars were meandering the parking structure, trying to find parking and blocking traffic lanes. We were able to find parking and took the elevator. Once again, there were no attendants directing folks to the entrance of the theater folks, were confused about what line they shoud stand in to enter, there were several bottles-necks that were difficult to manuver on our way to the entrance. Once the concert was over, entrances to the elevators were locked. There was no signage or attendants directing folks how to enter the parking structure. You either had to walk around to the parking structure, which was quite a distance, or you had to take the stairs down several levels to your car. I was with a disabled person who found it very difficult going downstairs to the 4th level. Needless to say, getting out of the parking structure took forever!

We came to ok the show as a family. We were so excited about seating near the front on the first floor. We were sitting on the left side of the stage behind a camara. We couldnt see at all because the camera was on the way. A guy keeps saying we have cheers, clap, etc. I made all the noises that I could. He gave away t shirts and tickets, but never came yo our corner. Finally, the final act came on. At the end, I shouted, Golden buzzer. they guy wearing a plaid shirt toll me.Shut up using a hand dignal. So they encouraging to be cheerful, clap etc, but they dont like something they are rude

We had a really good time at the Midsummer Scream. The facility was very nice and in a good area, the restrooms were clean and the people were courteous and helpful. The only thing keeping them from a five star rating was the snack bars, the food was mediocre at best and there was no ice for the drinks. Parking was very limited, I had to park four blocks away and this was on a Sunday.

Went for a college graduation. The Civic auditorium is located at the Pasadena Coventry Center. This is a historic and classy auditorium with lots of wood and an open airy feel. Everything from the theatre design to the overall feel of the auditorium feels like a positive step back in history.As a friendly recommendation,, whatever type of even is being held here, trust me, visit, without hesitation.I like such places as they bring back memories in my younger years of going to plays (live theatre), and seeing musicals.Inside, the seating area goes from ground level, and all the way to what appears to be a couple of stories up.Again, if you like vintage and classy surroundings, I would encourage you to visit. For reference, on the Pasadena Civic Audition web page, they state, where grand and illustrious take the stage. That sums this place up perfectly.This is a solid five star facility.

What a wonderful auditorium to host Americas Got Talents auditions. We sat in the balcony and enjoyed every moment. The stage was well in-view; the seats were perfectly arranged so tall folks dont get in the way and the acoustics were decent enough that I didnt once hear, what did he say? what was that she said?Momentary bliss!

Nice smaller venue. Staff great. Very clean. As a vendor, all merchandise must get to the exhibit halls via a freight elevator. Can be very slow coming and leaving the venue. Restrooms were NOT convenient - they are outside the exhibit halls at opposite ends of the building. Older customers didnt like it all; and, as a vendor it was inconvenient if you had to leave your booth/merchandise. Parking expensive if you have to leave and come back - $15 each time.

We went here for a taping of Americas Got Talent. The show and experience were great, but the building and staff leave something to be desired. There is very little in terms of accessibility options. The upper level is just not an option if you have limited mobility. There is no wheelchair access and no way to get there without stairs. The staff was rather gruff and not helpful or knowledgeable about the facility.

Its not easy finding fun things to do, as a single parent, with an 11 year old boy, that not only Sparks his interest, but can also be a bonding experience between mother and son. However Civic Auditorium did the job when we went to go see a taping of Americas Got Talent, his favorite TV show. It was a wonderful venue, we did have to pay for parking, however it was worth it knowing our vehicle is safe. Any show any concert any play thats at this facility, I highly recommend it. Youll have an amazing experience. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. There were several elderly and folks with disabilities who they were more than willing to help and theyre super super sweet about it.

Went to see Bill Burr at this majestic theater. It was a great time, beautiful building. We enjoyed every moment of this experience. Parking is typical, 15-20 bucks but plenty of nearby restaurants to enjoy before or after the show. I recommend this place to see a show.

Nice compact Auditorium. Sound system didnt allow music to be clearly heard - front rows were impossible to sit in - decibel levels were too high to make one side. Then vocals became too low to be heard. Outside was nice scene with people dressing up as evil characters. Nice atmosphere around the center. I liked that part and Pritams concert.

Great venue for a Johnny Mathis concert, small enough so the reasonably priced seats still provided a sense of intimacy. Missing cup holders in the arm rests are a negative. Inside beverage sales would have been preferable to having to use a single door to leave and return in order to purchase a glass of wine. Also, using knowledgeable ushers who are familiar with seat locations would have prevented wide-spread searching which should have been unnecessary.

I went to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium to see a taping of Americas Got Talent auditions. It was easy to find. I parked in a nearby parking structure for $15. The seats in the theater are comfortable, but the roads are very close together and there is little legroom. Outside the theater it is hard to find places to sit while waiting to be admitted.

This was our 4th year in a row to see the Lithgoe family Panto play. This one was their take on the wizard of oz, starring Kermit the frog. In past years we have seen Cinderella, sleeping beauty and Beauty and the Beast. All excellent. I take my granddaughters but I would enjoy going even if I was not with children. They are always around the holidays.

Historical and gorgeous space. If you have a chance to attend an event here, youll be staring at the deco/art all the while. Dont recommend coming here by car but metro/biking as parkings hard. Plenty of eateries, shops and attractions nearby as well. If you have a chance to do the Pasadena Art Night thats once a year, please do :)

3000 seat capacity venue with comfortable seats and clear views. Ample affordable parking down Green St, just past the site. Outdoor mall across the street with food and coffee options, and Old Pasadena is about a half mile away with lots of dining and bar options. Make an evening of it!

Parking for venue for a big event is a pain. Took 45 minutes just to get out of the parking structure. Venue is somewhat big but seating is cramped and not stadium style. If someone is tall and is sitting in front of you, chances are that youll be bobbing and weaving to see around them.

Good experience at the auditorium for QuiltCon. Bathrooms were very clean and cold water was available for my water bottle. Friendly service by auditorium Personel. The only complaint would be that there should have been water available down where the classes were held.

Parking is relatively pricey at $15 flat rate but luckily there are neighboring parking lots at a cheaper rate. Walking distance to Old Town Pasadena provides a variety of options for food and beverages if the plaza/outdoor mall across the street doesnt suit your taste.
