It was a great experience! I like to go in annually to ensure my vision has not had a significant change. In addition, to ensure health changes are caught as early as possible. I was able to get my eye exam for both contacts and eye glasses by Dr. Kevin Tam. He was very professional and provided me a comprehensive visit! He was able to improve my vision through my eye glass. My contact lenses prescription stayed the same. I highly recommend the pictures of the inside of your eyes! It was a great experience, even as a Registered Nurse, seeing my own optic disk along with all the lovely vessels that extended from the disk. Dr. Tam took the time to describe what I was seeing with feedback. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!
The optometrist was very professional and courteous. The young lady Rachael, that assisted me after my eye exam was so pleasant and friendly. She assisted with my insurance benefits and what worked best for me. I would highly recommend this business, and will return for service!
The supervisor there was so sweet that I ended up with three pairs Of glasses instead of just the two I was originally was going to get. $800 later with no insurance, y’all are shipping to me even tho you don’t ship anymore. THANK YOU. Exceptional service!

Dr. Tam was so courteous and explained everything in laymans terms so I could understand. I even got an explanation on my eye disorder that Ive had since I was four that actually made sense. The appointment was completely enjoyable from me checking in to me checking out and getting set up with some new lenses. Definitely found my new optometrist.

Because LensCrafters is in a mall I kind of ore-judged them as just another “retail chain”, so I hesitated to go to there. However my husband who wears glasses all the time has gone there for years. I shopped around a little but couldn’t get into other places for over a week. I reluctantly opted to go to LensCrafters because I could get in next day. How wrong I was in judging them so quickly without trying them myself.Dr. Tam is great and very informative! The staff were very helpful, taking time to make sure you picked the right frames and why. In an hour after my exam I had my new glasses. This is definitely where I’ll be coming from now on. Overall experience, Excellent, great value, & Easy!

On Dec 8th I went in to have an eye exam at Lens Crafters Fletcher Parkway El Cajon. Dr. Kevin Tam gave the exam and discovered a problem in my right eye. I followed up with another exam at my primary care facility with the same results. After that I had a number of other exams which all turned out negative. I want to thank Dr. Tam for his astute observation with my eye issue and suggestion to seek further care. Since following his suggestion, it has put my mind at ease. Thank you again.

2022-07-09 23:34:36The entire visit was extremely pleasant. Everyone who spoke with me was very polite and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed even after trying on close to 30 different glasses. The testing equipment was all super clean and the doctor was more than willing to explain my prescription with me as well as answer questions about cataract surgery, and lasik questions. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family in the area. Keep up the Great service!

2020-12-01 16:51:24Everything was very fast and professional. They had special trays for holding glasses I liked and others for putting back anything I touched for cleaning/sanitizing. The doctor was very personable and even liked Anime!My glasses were done in just one hour and I was able to take them home the same day after a little shopping at the mall. The prescription was better than my last pair and everything looked super clear, which it hasnt with the past two pairs of glasses Ive gotten elsewhere.I couldnt be happier with the service! I completely recommend this office!

2021-05-23 05:08:54I have had insurance that is accepted by Lenscrafters for several years, but never went there, as I (incorrectly) figured it would be some sort of lesser care, since it was a chain business. However, I found the staff to be incredibly nice and professional, and Dr. Tan to be friendly and skilled. Steven, the person who first greeted me, shepherded me through the entire process and made me feel welcome. I appreciated the young woman who tested my eyes pre-exam, also. Thank you -- Ill be coming back!

2022-06-14 03:26:00Dr Shehani was great. She explained everything very well and answered any questions I had. Unfortunately she isnt the permanent optometrist and js just helping out. I wish she was the permanent one, as I liked her much more than the previous optometrist. The other woman, I didnt get her name, who helped start the exam was nice as well.
