This is a wonderful hearing aid center! I have been going there for six years and now have my second pair of newer hearing aids that do not need batteries. They see you right away and have excellent technology for evaluating your hearing. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a hearing evaluation.

Laura explained why she chose the hearing aid she thought best for me. Long battery life, most normal my voice projection & automatic tuning out of noisy backgrounds. It sounds like those features would make me likely to wear them most of the time.The price she quoted was the price I had been given by my insurance company.

My wife and I both need help with hearing. Being able to hear conversations, music, birds and TV are essential to keeping in contact with each other and our world. Park Place is a small, warm and friendly place to get new hearing aids or take care of those you already wear!

I have worked with Laura and Dennis at Park Place Hearing for about 6 years. They are thorough, responsive and genuinely helpful. Staff is great. I am in the process currently of replacing my old aids (Phonak) with new ones through Medicare/Blue Shield/Epic. My current ones are now about 8 years old and technology has greatly improved. Laura has helped me choose a new product. Phonak is my choice again and together with my Samsung cell, should keep me hearing and happy for many more years! They offer many different brands - Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, ReSound - and are experienced in getting the best individual results from the aids. Brands at the high end are comparable, with some differences but the audiologist is the key to a successful pairing of hearing needs and hearing aids! Once they turn to their computer, they can program the aids to your exact needs and preferences for all environments! These two know their job and excel at it!

My wife and I have been suffering from hearing loss.About 6 years ago we became patients of Dennis Tobin HIS and Dr. Laura Dundas at Park Place Hearing Center. Both of them are highly knowledgeable and friendly.Weve been greatly helped with treatment, advices and selection of proper hearing aids.Ever since then they kept regularly checking our hearing and the provided aids.Despite moving quite further out from their office we still driving to them for service and help.We are very grateful to both of them!

Ive been lucky to discover Park Place Hearing Center and the impeccable care and patience of audio expert Dennis and his team. Whether a hearing aid was broken or lost, Dennis was there to help. He would often fix the damage himself, right away. He let me try out the latest technology for two weeks at a time, without the least pressure to go for it rather than stay with my present audio and wait for the next technological miracle.The other thing I love is the warm and welcoming office atmosphere both in Petaluma and San Rafael: the staff is lovely and very smart with any smart phone trouble!

Am giving Park Place Hearing Center five stars for excellence.My husband and I went there for a free testing just to find out when we need hearing aids.We met Dr Petersen, Dr Dundas and Dennis Tobin, they were so nice, patient and spent time with us explaining the advantages of the new technologies in hearing aids.With the financial situation we are having right now, we were not ready to spent that much money. Because of how thorough they explained to us the benefits we will be getting especially with our age, we end up getting one.I will recommend them to my friends and families anytime even though I found them more expensive because of how were treated.,

I didnt expect how great my first hearing aids would be. All Id heard from people with hearing aids was how awful they were.Fortunately, I went to Park Place and met Dennis and Laura. They are friendly, caring professionals who gave me a great experience --Dennis chose the perfect hearing aid for me and programmed it to suit my hearing loss.It doesnt even feel like they are there. Im hearing naturally again. I dont have to ask people to repeat, nor do I have to be facing them to know what they are saying. I recommend Park Place very highly.

My “deafening” was noticed when I was 58 by a friend. We were attending a seminar with about 500 people. I missed so much of the crowd interaction with the speaker and it never occurred to me perhaps I had a hearing problem. When I walked into the hotel room we were sharing, my friend asked me if I liked the music she was playing, I couldn’t even hear it. I was shocked though I should not have been considering how much of the seminar I had missed. Denial is a potent emotion. But at the same time, I never even considered I would ever have a hearing problem. She encouraged me to have my hearing checked.I got tested for hearing loss and received hearing aids from a different organization. They worked, but I was not really happy with them or the people who ran the business. I will say the most important thing I did learn from them was that hearing loss is not like regular vision loss which gets corrected by glasses. Hearing goes through the brain and is frequency dependent. Hence, it is the loss of the frequencies that affect the hearing quality. The other important thing I learned was that losing the ability to hear frequencies can lead to dementia and the more frequencies you lose, the more risk you are at. This really scared me.When Park Place Hearing Center took over the other facility, it was like finding a doctor & an office you just love and trust. They presented me with the latest technology in hearing devices and I said to myself, “now is the time to upgrade” and I invested in them. I use the term invested because investing is what I was doing. I was investing in preserving the hearing I had and doing my best to stop further loss. These hearing devices made a huge difference in the quality of my hearing.I strongly recommend Park Place Hearing with Dennis Tobin and Laura Dundas. They work with you to fit you with the right hearing devices that also fit your pocketbook. Their supportive environment and follow-up appointments to check & clean the hearing aids is a very important service that they offer. This ensures the hearing aids continue to be in good working order.Having a yearly hearing test is also important as well and if there is a change, your aids can be adjusted. I have been pleasantly surprised that some of my ability to distinguish words has actually improved. But the very best of all is that with the hearing aids I chose, everything is online, i.e., so any adjustments are made right there in their office. This makes excellent use of your time as well as keeping your hearing devices with any updates which keeps them in tip-top working order. It is just like updating your computer.If you suspect you might have a hearing loss, it is truly better to know and to what degree that loss is. It will be up to you whether you move forward to purchase aids or decide not to. This is a no pressure organization, which is focused on giving you the facts so you can make the best decision for you. I have been looking for a significant technology upgrade to my 2015-era hearing aids for over a year. Visited Park Place Hearing to try out the latest about a year ago, and didnt find enough difference from what I had. This year (about 2 months ago), I read about some other new technology available and called Park Place to arrange to try it out. The latest was in fact dramatically better, and Im very happy with my new hearing aids.Dennis and everyone at Park Place has been very helpful and considerate, particularly during the Covid restrictions. If you are in the market for the latest in hearing aid technology, I recommend Park Place.

Great staff. Got my second pair of hearing aids and LOVE THEM!They were paired with my phone at my visit today. They do it all, except wash my windows! I wouldnt go anywhere else for hearing aids!

I am blown away by the professionalism and quality of service I received here! When I mentioned that I couldn’t afford hearing aids and that my insurance wouldn’t cover it, they found a pair I *could* afford and even set up a payment plan!!! So happy to have found Park Place!!! ❤️
