Be careful they are hot! our waitress said so I immediately stuffed a fried pickle in my hole and burnt the roof of my mouth. The first couple layers of skin hung down like those drape things in a car wash, I continued to stuff pickles like busses into the carwash that was my mouth. Their house made ranch (is that a touch of dill I tasted in there?) soothing my blistered pallet.. I have never had fried pickles this good or this painful. I may never order them again but I know Ive had the best.Our burgers, the Belushi and Huckleberry came before we could finish playing carwash with our molten pickles. They cut our burgers in half so we could share. They were both decadent and juicy, the toasted bread on the Huckleberry really gave it to the roof of my mouth and unfortunately I finished my half before I noticed the horseradish sauce in a cup on my wifes plate. That would have been good. The Belushi was so over the top and the pocket of Blu cheese was entirely on my half (score!).Then I remember awesome onion rings and incredible garlic fries, everything was a blur at this point, maybe my arteries had clogged or all the blood had gone to my gut or both?What an experience, just what we were looking for.As we stumbled out on a food high we noticed others having drinks, talking and laughing. They had not even ordered their meals yet. We were so focused on our amazing burgers, I hope we gave them a good spectacle.Next time we will split one burger (not fried), with a side salad, order a couple of their great looking cocktails and take it easy.Oh, the parking... Forgetaboutit!

Omg yum! We tried this spot for the first time and we were not disappointed. The fried pickles were amazing! Fries crispy and delicious. Wings were good not as hot as expected but still good. And the maiden club was my favorite. So tasty. We got take out, easy online ordering and friendly service.

Nice place to have a beer and pub food. Also has good wine selection. Ordered a burger, their version of the French dip and a most delectable appetizer - crispy Dixie fried pickles. The chef knows how to batter and deep fry. Wait staff were very friendly. Patio/outdoor tables could use a power wash and patio lacked ambiance. But it worked. Great local place.

I have no notes! 10/10They seem to be known for their wings, and I can confirm they are delicious. The garlic fries are the best around. Crispy cronchy feather-weight beer batter style. We split a burger that we added bacon and cheddar cheese. It was an amazing, tender-moist, fatty-flavorful patty. My partner said it was the best cheddar he has ever had. We were obsessed with the fries. We brought half the winners home but other than that we demolished the meal. For wings, a burger with side of garlic fries, one cocktail and one beer, it was $55 before tip. We left them with a hearty tip with happy bellies. Its so nice to come home from a restaurant without feeling like it was a let down! We were very satisfied and will be back soon. Great staff also!

This place absolutely rocks! They rotate a dozen good beers on tap, and have a solid mix including IPAs and sours. Mostly local, all really good. They also have a full bar and a handful of signature cocktails. The menu covers all of the traditional pub grub, but also has a few unique and rather amazing burgers. The Belushi has a patty stuffed with blue cheese and bacon, dipped in a light tempura batter and then flash fried. It is ridiculously good! Also check out their wings. Several different sauces available, plus two hot ones: Run for the Hills, and Rocket to Uranus. Looking for a great pub meal? This is your place.

Good pub food! Decided to give them a try for Santa Cruz Burger Week. The Cali Guac Burger was plump, juicy and tasty, but the Chicken Sandwich was the best Chicken sandwich Ive had in a while. Both came with their house made BBQ chips... Also very good (but heavily seasoned). We also tried their Fried Artichoke Appetizer which was great share plate. Tender baby artichokes in a tasty beer batter. Overall a great experience with good food, friendly service and covid-19 friendly outdoor seating.

Passing through Aptos & we are so happy we chose Parish Publick House for dinner. Fried salmon with garlic fries, delicious. Fried artichoke hearts, delicious. I loved my salad! Didnt pay attention to what Hubby ordered, but he scarfed it down and we were very pleased with the beer selections, too. Dog 🐕 friendly outdoors which was nice since we brought our little guy as did several other parties dining outdoors.

Great burgers and fries. A little loud inside with not enough heaters for the outside tables but very nice decor, and staff. I had The Filthy Freddy which has a patty stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, beer battered then deep fried. It came pre-cut in half which presents very nicely but made the fillings all burst out with the first bite. Overall, loved the food and I would go again. Highly recommended the deep fried artichoke hearts.

I recommend stopping by the digital display to look at the beer list. Went on a Saturday around 11:30, no one was there yet. Good experience, love the outdoor patio.

Charming spot, friendly staff. Has potential to be a cozy hideout in the woods but management needs to improve cleanliness overall. The Belushi burger underwhelmed leaving me searching for the advertised blue cheese and bacon. I did however find the beer selection top notch, offering up some of the worlds best sours from none other than Russian River Brewery. Will be back for the beers, might skip out on food.

Another really good experience here. It was slow when we got here, but when we left it was busy.The on tap beer selection could be a little more diverse. They had quite a few stouts and IPAs but no standard Lager. Im just glad they had a larger in a bottle.The special for the day was the slider and it was pretty good. We also had the BBQ chicken pizza cooked in a wood fired oven. The pizza was okay. I think they could have done a better job with the dough as it tastes more like a cracker.The dessert was amazing. I got the banana vhoc chip bread pudding. It was divine - one of the best bread puttings weve had in a while.The part was the waitress - very attentive and she would hold conversations with us, but still take care of everyone as well.

Efficient and personable servers, excellent food and cool vibe. For starters, we had the mac & cheese bites, and the artichoke hearts. They were both amazing, try them, you’ll thank me.I thoroughly enjoyed the southwest salad, which was generous and delicious. My husband had a black and blue burger and claimed it was one of the best. He had garlic fries as his side and they were tasty. Parish has a good selection of beer, craft cocktails and wine. We were here for lunch on a Tuesday, Our meal was served quickly and we really enjoyed the appealing presentation. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant.

Well...atmosphere...is absolutely perfect for what it is. Everyone is really friendly...even when you can see they are super busy. Ive had take out from them on St. Pattys day 2022, and this year (2023) we went in. It was so good in person - even though they were packed with basically standing room only. That was March 17 and its now April 19...and weve been back twice. They have some really delicious and interesting food. Once I had the Red Roof sandwich...melted sharp Irish cheddar, and lots of veggies on a really good sour dough. Im kinda a horseradish nut and there horseradish tastes like its fresh...so after I enjoyed the first half of the sandwich I had the Server bring me some horseradish and it was over the top! I left with a nice warm feeling of happiness and a clear head thanks to the horseradish!Everything is very reasonably priced. The only reason our bill was a little bit bigger was the drinks. I sure hope they get some more of the barrel aged Lagunitas stout...that beer was delicious!Thank You for your wonderful service and food - can you really keep it up?Looking forward to my next visit...and if you keep it up I can tell you will keep me fat and happy for a long time! 😁

In the area for a few nights and stopped here for dinner just because it was the closest bar / restaurant to my hotel. Very happy I did. Was by myself and sat at a table in the restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly from both the hostess and the sever. I had the Cuban sandwich special with their homemade BBQ chips. The food was fantastic (best bbq chips Ive had anywhere). It was so good I came back two nights later. I sat at the bar this time. The bartenders were fantastic, another very friendly experience. I had the beer battered salmon with fries and a dill tartar sauce. Another great meal. The building is older (saw some comments complaining of this) but thats part of the charm of the place. This is a great local gem, make sure to stop here if youre in the area.

The food is always quality. My favorites are the buffalo chicken salad, fried pickles, their club sandwich, and the Irish dip. So I wanna start out saying that my food was some of the best Ive had. The restaurant was very nice. I love to see that you can bring your dog. But the biggest problem was lack of management for weight staff. It seems like the back of the house manager is doing a great job, but the front of the house manager is lacking oversight for the weight staff. The waitress we had last night was very condescending and talked down to us. I understand it was an hour and a 1/2 before closing and she. And she was trying to get out early. Which brings us to the point to the Lack of management. A manager never came out and asked how our food was or asked how we were doing. If you were going to be closing at 10pm, that should be the time youre closing, you shouldnt close an hour and a half before closing and still have the time on the door at 10 pm if you want to close at nine, then close your doors at 9 pm. I know its not the restaurant I know it is just the employee of the restaurant but that is my point of the lack of management over the the weight stuff . My wife left a little note saying she would get a little more in life. If she was a little nicer, we left her a really good tip and got the door slammed in our face on the way out. I honestly cant believe that youll have someone how would slam a door in your face still working there? The least you all should do is fire her A k a bartender. It almost got to the point to where I felt assaulted by her Physically. If she would have hit my wife with the door I would have press charges .

We recommend the Out and In Burger (pro-tip- We love to add the Ghost Pepper Cheese if you like to kick it up a notch) and we love the wings appetizer. Servers are incompetent more then one occasion . The order has been incorrect the last 4 times, even the order is repeated back. The fish and chips, and artichoke hearts are amazing best my wife and I have ever had. Good selection of beers but they dont do flights. So get your tasters at the bar if you like to try before you buy like me. From what I can tell this is a hometown favorite for most folks so if you want to hang out be social and enjoy the energy of a busy but positive vibe this a great place.

I placed an order online on 7/5/2023, their system is it easy to navigate. When I drove to pick up my order, my granddaughter was asleep in the backseat. I calling the restaurant and asked if someone can bring it out to me and the friendly voice on the other end said “yes, no problem”’. So far I have only tried the burgers. They are excellent. Good quality Angus beef and they dont overcook it. The fries are some of the best Ive ever had. They are crispy outside and soft inside. This has become my go to spot for my weekly burger and fries.

A welcome addition to the Aptos dining scene the Parish seems to be the restaurant here to stay in a building that has been a rotating door since the Brit left. Good prices on food, good cocktail selection, good happy hour, and a weekend brunch. There are many reasons to go to the Parish and I will surely be back.With that being said, both the service and food can be inconsistent. Greasy fries, odd-cut vegetables in the salad, and inconsistent burger temperatures are the major complaints for food. The service is often inattentive, with the servers acting like it is inconvenient to wait on you. For the best service, sit at the bar if possible.Bar selection seems good, but I am more of a beer person. Their beer selection seems interesting for the area. While most restaurants have embraced the widespread IPA desire, the Parish seems resistant. They frequently have only one IPA on an extensive tap list, and sometimes even none. So IPA lovers beware!I am hopeful that the incoming competition for the area will force them to step up their game. For now I will be settle with a decent pub to visit in my area.

The food was good but was disappointed that the side of BBQ chips I received looked like what you get at the bottom of a bag of chips from the grocery store. There were a lot of small broken pieces and clusters of seasoning globs. Very few full size chips. Probably got the bottom of a batch.My wifes dish was also not quite what she was expecting. The Parish Pie (kind of like Shepards Pie) had a very runny sauce instead of a stew like consistency. Also was a little salty. Her side salad was served on the same plate as her Parish Pie which was too hot too touch. Doesnt seem like it is a good idea to have a cold salad touching a holder that is super hot.The good parts were that the service was good. The servers were freindly and food didnt take too long to come out. The fried artichoke hearts were also very good. Just a little disappointed with the main dishes and sides.

We are a family of four who visited on a Saturday night between 6:30 and 7 pm. We were seated within 5 minutes and the staff were polite and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals (burgers and fries for the kids, shepherds pie for hubby and Monterey chicken for me). The beef is very tasty and was well prepared for everyone. The BBQ sauce on the chicken is pretty sweet, so be advised. Side salads come with about 2 tablespoons of chopped raw onion, so be warned. Food is priced on the high side. The real winner is the beer.

We had one of the coolest waitresses, Miss Amaya! (I hope I have the spelling right.)She checked in with us just the right amount of times. She was sweet and patient with us as I was waiting for a friend to arrive.We forgot to ask for two separate checks. Love this place. Philly cheese steak is the only thing I have had. I have ordered it 5 times now. Maybe time for a change but now Im hungry for a cheese steak so maybe not. Food is VERY good as well as the serviceWait staff are long time employees.I had a Cobb Salad with Salmon and my friends had a burger (it was huge and it looks great) he couldnt finish it.... But hes skinny so I had low expectations that he would finish the burger... I wanted to ask him for his remaining burger but we arent that good of friends, although I am sure it would have been fine.The other one had a patty melt with Brie apparently a house specifically.Menu was easy to read and the selection amazing. If you dont see it, ask them. They quite likely will make it..Everything is fresh and made after you order it.... I will recommend the artichokes... Again. The garlic fries are AWESOME. Lots of fresh chopped garlic. I ended up scooping some onto my chicken sandwich. I really enjoyed the drowning chicken sandwich. And it was tight.As soon as we were seated, the bartender/waiter was ready to welcome us.I enjoy loud crowds, it just means everyone is having a good time. There’s probably more to this place than I realize..I think it has more personal dinners at the bottom, and more of a bar/eating at the top section.They also are connected to another section, that I believe is for reserved parties or events. Doesn’t say on their website. But there is a door that connects it.What I ordered, was delicious. And everyone said they enjoyed their food. It all looked great. They straight up lied to us!So we ordered takeout, and when we got home, we realized they had given us the wrong order. Frustrating, yes, but it happens. Of course, when we opened the food, the burgers were lukewarm and the fries and onion rings were cold and soggy. Clearly, they hadn’t remade the food. So not only was the food barely edible, but the guy lied to my wife’s face. I tried to call again, but got put on perma-hold. What a bad experience! Parish publick House is the replacement for Britannia arms which had existed in that building for many years before they left for the Capitola Esplanade and the superior location there. There had been two or three restaurants thereafter Britannia arms left that failed, but Parish is a great replacement. The minute they opened, they had good attendance all the time. The place is great, drinks are good, and the food very good. $17 for a pub burger was a little high. Nice place, but high prices.

Good...a Sunday so it was slammed and crowded. Service a bit slow but the food was good and the waiter friendly

Service was good this time. Food was excellent. The only real issues here are its very loud and cold inside.
