Our rental was ideal for our brief stay in Santa Barbara. Steps away from Arroyo Burro beach, Hendrys Boathouse restaurant, two minutes from shopping on the Mesa, and happily just blocks away from family we were visiting. The property was well equipped, well tended and clean, with quite complete kitchen amenities which allowed full meal preparations. The home is spacious and nicely furnished, situated on a large lot teeming with mature flora, and provides parking for visitors cars - even a garage space is available (though we didnt take that opportunity). Weve already recommended this property to friends, and will no doubt look to book again if available.

We rented Mesa Bliss for an 11 day stay in Santa Barbara and had a wonderful experience. The property was very comfortable and beautifully maintained with attention to every detail. Everything we needed was provided. The location in a quiet neighborhood close to the ocean and the Douglas Preserve was just what we retirees were looking for. We also appreciated the no-pet policy for allergy sufferers. The staff was quick to respond to questions prior to and during our rental period. I would highly recommend renting through Paradise Retreats if you want a professional no-hassle experience.

Casa Tranquillo in Santa Barbara is absolutely the best place to get away with your loved ones!! We have been coming for years and it gets more comfortable and enjoyable every time. The heated pool temperature is absolutely perfect for the kids and the beautiful views and gardens are all you need to reset and recharge! perfect location too. close enough but not too close ! spacious and well laid out for a large family. Driveway is good for parking multiple cars. Service is good and theyre responsive for any issues. Will come again!

This property was an ideal setting for our family.It was a beautiful setting and in a location that was easy to access neighboring towns and wineries.The house was well equipped so that we could make meals.The services that were provided;a housekeeper; landscaper; and garbage service were excellent. When we had a problem, Paradise Retreats got it resolved quickly.We would definitely rent this home again.

Bougainvillea Retreat was absolutely spectacular for accommodations, relaxation and restoration for us! The rooms were spacious and the views of the ocean and beautifully landscaped grounds were incredible, along with the wonderful spa. We were even more thrilled with the e-bikes that provided transportation to various beaches, restaurants, Sterns Wharf, State Street, the Santa Barbara Courthouse, Mission, and even to Montecito. First impressions: The entire house was extremely clean and sanitized. Very well done interiors, appropriate for the home, and extremely comfortable for the guests. Excellent views, with a terrific deck/outdoor space perfect for relaxing and taking in the scene! Well stocked linens/towels for bed and bath. A clean, well equipped kitchen, (not much of a pantry). OVERALL: We loved this property and all it had to offer. The location is great for us, an hour drive from Los Angeles. The home is comfy and cozy, while being open and airy at the same time. We enjoyed the fireplace, the fire pit, the jacuzzi, and the deck/outdoor space the most. The interior was just as wonderful to hang out in. This is the type of place we could stay at for a month, we liked it so much. Our stay at Bella Vista was truly magical! The house and grounds are lovely and beautiful and provided our family with a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return for more delicious meals we made using vegetables from the garden, to play more pickleball on the great court and to just relax and spend time together in a spectacular property. We had a lovey stay at Casa Palmas for a family wedding being held down the street at the Rosewood. We rented both sides of this duplex, that together, but separate spaces for our family worked really well. We really enjoyed the location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We had an extra day and visited Channel Islands, National Park, Santa Cruz Island. Well worth the effort for some beautiful vistas and exercise. We also rented e-bikes that were great fun, lots of bike lines in the area. It’s always nice to have more space than a hotel room if you are staying someplace more than a night or two. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Palmas. It was perfect for us.

I recently had the pleasure of renting two homes from Paradise Retreats, Bella Vista and Summerland Beach Retreat and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The short-term rental company was incredibly professional and easy to work with. The homes were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Bella Vista had a tennis court and pickleball court that we enjoyed very much, as well as an orchard with many different fresh fruits and vegetables we could take. The orchard was a wonderful surprise and added an extra special touch to our stay. We had an amazing time playing on the courts and picking fresh fruits and vegetables. The location of both homes were perfect, as they provided easy access to the beach and other local attractions. I would highly recommend Paradise Retreats to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable vacation rental experience. They truly exceeded our expectations and we look forward to renting from them again in the future.

My moms wish was granted through the Dream Foundation and my siblings and I were able to make a trip from the east coast to the west coast to be with her. We stayed in Downtown Paradise. Words cant express how precious our last moments were with her. The rental was just perfect for her. The beds were THE BEST BEDS weve ever laid on! Her pain level was increasing by the day. She said the bed was just the right comfort she needed and her space was perfect for us to just sit and be with her as we reflected back on her life. These were our last moments before admitting her into hospice.We are forever thankful for Paradise Retreats and the Dream Foundation for making this all possible. We have used Paradise Retreats in the past and part of me wants to keep this a secret. We come out to Santa Barbara at least once a year to visit my son and daughter in-law. I have found a gem in terms of the quality in PRs vacation homes, great location, accommodations, and streamlining of amenities. Also, you cannot beat the professional and quick response of the PRs staff available 24 hours. The house our family stayed in was a 70s style, lots of windows with great views, plenty of lounging spaces, a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs, fans, and beautifully maintained property. It had one of a kind views from the Mesa shores, great access to a private beach, situated in a very quiet and private residence, with the best outdoor living you could want. My teenage kids lived in the hot tub after a good hike in the morning or after surfing in Mondo Beach. Being here was paradise to me, coming from the very sunny and hot South Florida so this was truly a happy place for all of us.

Stay away..The 1st rental had an undisclosed loud barking dog that complaints to PR that were answered days later.Never used one night as a result they refuse to refund/credit.Then afer informing were noise sensitive we picked a rental months in advance based on a map ping of Hill road that ended up being on a completely different road br train tracks/highway only they divulged one day before rental and refused to switch us blaming us for their faults.Then the smoke detector went off in middle night, spiders inside.Got little to no sleep..stay away Paradise Retreats does not have a clue about being in the property management business!

We had a fabulous stay at the Sand Dollar Retreat home in Montecito April 2024. Everything was newly updated, clean and welcoming. Great location close to downtown Montecito& minutes away from Santa Barbara. Close 6 minute leisurely walk to the beach.Beautiful gardens& multiple areas outside to relax, dine, enjoy.Hot tub was an added bonus, privately situated in the backyard.Cozy and charming, can’t wait to return in the near future!!!

I just completed a beautiful Weekend Couples Retreat at Bella Vista in Carpinteria. The location of this house is ideal and the views are stunning. There were a few glitches, but the staff was responsive and friendly.I think that they could use an upgrade on dishes, glasses, and silverware. Not a big deal, but its a large house with a casita and there was not enough that matched or was in good condition. These things were minor compared to the amazing time I and my guests had. I will definitely use Paradise Retreats again when planning in that area! Thank you!

We rented SeaGlass Cottage for a week and were impressed by how much the owners had anticipated EVERYTHING you might need while a guest. I fell in love with the front deck with a view of the water and the back yard (understandment) was huge, useful and lovely. We really had a great stay. The house is quite old and charming so, and it was pretty cold at night, so we used the space heaters provided to keep us warm enough. I would definitely rent it again and Id go thru Paradise to do it.

Everything is as seen in the photos. It is very comfortable and pleasant.You can easily park on the street. They should only change the mattress, it is comfortable but it is very sagging at the headboard. I had to sleep on the other side.

We are a group of 9 women who celebrated our bookclub’s 25th anniversary at Los Arboles Ranch June 3-7, 2024. We have traveled A LOT together and this was by far the best set up for us. We loved having so much very comfortable space with what we designated as a breakfast kitchen in one house and a snacky/charcuterie kitchen in the other. Our 2nd year booking through Paradise Retreats and we were, again, VERY pleased with our accommodations! Last year was the eclectic Whale House(super fun!)and this year was the Pistachio House! Loved the location of the Pistachio House right off State St. So convenient to all the shops and access to the beach. The house was very comfortable and bright. Evenings were spent around the outdoor firepit. Room layouts were a bit funky with the access from the master to upstairs having to go through another bedroom, or from the outside but luckily our daughter is a sound sleeper so we could sneak through. Kitchen was very well appointed. We were only there a few nights so didnt fully take advantage(partially since there were so many amazing restaurants at our fingertips!). Loved all the colorful tile! Would definitely return to this fun house and use Paradise Retreats again for booking!!

Made a booking 7 months in advance, they cancelled on me with less than 2 months before our booking--offered no compensation for the inconvenience.They had a software issue will would not allow for a refund to payment method--offered to mail a check--confirmed my address, for which I said I did not have an active address in the US. They did not respond to my emails regarding an alternative option for refund. Just received an email stating that they mailed a check to an address that I did not confirm, after I had already told them not to use that address. Complete choas and not taking any effort to make up for such an inconvenience. I would not book with them as they are not responsible if they cancel on you.

Ballard Canyon Ranch was a blast...beautiful home in Santa Ynez on a working vineyard. Amazing views and a great location. It was more than we usually spend but think it was well worth the extra cost! We had great communication with Paradise Retreats prior to staying at the home. Our group of old high school friends have rented a luxury home from Paradise Retreats for five years. The pandemic restrictions caused us some headaches but we are back on track with a fabulous house for our annual reunion. Every detail is documented and clear as to how to use the various features at the house. It is always very clean; indoors and out. That is not an easy task for a property of this size but it is meticulous. Easy access and fast responses to emails and texts are much appreciated. Or course, we will be back again in 2025. I have rented through many companies over the years and Paradise Retreats are simply the best.

Seahorse Retreat in winter months is like renting a BASEMENT because of the sand berm. It is in the small print but had no idea there is NO view from living area. Also really a duplex and no big rooms for everyone to get together unless you want to be outside, cold and a few feet from the berm. Huge price for huge disappointment.

Paradise Retreats is simply fantastic. We had booked a house through VRBO for a weekend in Santa Barbara only to arrive to find the house flooded. We had to scramble to find another place to stay for the weekend and Mindy and the rest of the team worked overtime for us to secure a perfect rental for us. They made things happen incredibly quickly and got us into a house within hours. The house itself was exactly as it was marketed and well-equipped. We stayed in Santa Barbara and rented with Paradise Retreats. I cant say enough about Paradise Retreats. Their team was helpful, responsive and informative. Mindy was the Queen! We stayed on a street that was walking distance to State St.-the beach-and the Wharf. The corner market was great. There was an art show on Sunday along the beach. Great restaurants on State St. which is partially closed to cars.Our rental was very comfortable and clean. It had a porch where we sat at in the morning with coffee and chatted with neighbors. I will be coming back to this property soon.

Very impressed with a recent stay at Pistachio House in Santa Barbara. The property is bright & airy. Prefect for three couples or a friends getaway. Close to shopping, Funk Zone, dining, & beach. Paradise retreats and the Pistachio house was the perfect place for a couples weekend. There were 3 couples and we hadnt been able to get together since 2019. Pistachio house was great as it gave each couple privacy and also a great room to gather. The location was perfect for enjoying all that Santa Barbara has to offer without even getting in the car. It was a fantastic location for walking to the boat parade and also enjoying the fireworks after the parade from one of the many outdoor decks. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean. Liked the off street parking too.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Tropical Retreat South. The 1 bedroom unit is comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a coastal vibe. The location is great, with a distant view of the ocean, only a short walk to Shoreline Park and the beach, and a short drive to markets and restaurants. It was very quiet at night and street parking was easy. We had some minor issues, but Paradise Retreats took care of them right away. An added bonus were the free activities available through Xplorie -- we took advantage of the catamaran cruise along the coast on a beautiful, sunny Santa Barbara day -- what could be better!

We were so impressed with everything and everyone, Customer service/focus from Paradise Retreats was superb throughout our interactions with them. And Casa Paradiso was a true paradise. Everything about the house was perfect and it really had everything - even the things you didnt know you needed (for example, extra batteries of every type, extra chargers, etc). Our family of 6 had more than enough room and the kids really enjoyed their daily use of the pool. As we come out to Montecito often, we will definitely be back..

Paradise Retreats was a phenomenal management group. We were able to rent an excellent property in Santa Barbara for a much more reasonable rate than ABNB. Throughout our multi-month term whenever anything was needed or any questions had Paradise was always available and responded near-instant. At one point we had an issue with the internet speed and within an hour they came out and swapped / upgraded the COX modem unit completely resolving the issue. I would 100% use their services again in the future and suggest for anyone looking at rental properties in and around the Santa Barbara area to check their website first!

This casita provided the most wonderful retreat for us during our stay. You are nestled in the most wonderful garden with beautiful fountains. The interior is beautiful and provides a very comfortable space. You are above the tree line, which bestowed the most amazing views. We loved the area and found a great food market-Lazy Acres. The home is completely equipped with everything you need, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The property owner is so thoughtful. We will definitely return to this special property.

Our graduation week in Carpinteria at Beachside Bliss was absolutely fantastic! This vacation rental exceeded our expectations in every way. The homes picturesque location offered breathtaking ocean views and easy access to town. Inside, the well-maintained and tastefully decorated space made us feel right at home. Four of us girlfriends shared a getaway at Sea Change. What a beautiful location! The beds are cozy. We stayed at an astounding property and the service was excellent. We were beach front in Ventura and while he had a few issues with some of the house electronics, a quick phone call to them and they had it fixed in a matter of hours. The memories we created here were exceptional and it was a very easy drive into SB, Los Olivos, and Santa Ynez. If youre looking to be in the heart of the action in SB this wont be your place as its about a 25min drive, but if you want a beach weekend overlooking the ocean and falling asleep to the sound of waves clashing - this is the best place you could ask for!

Self contained property with a beautiful garden and use of BBQ and beach equipment.The property itself is spacious, clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and it is very well equipped. A real home from home. Enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden watching the hummingbirds and lizards.Convenient for local beaches and close enough to Santa Barbara to go out in the evening. Saw seals and dolphins while swimming at East Beach.There is some road noise, but it is quieter at night and did not disturb us at all. And this is what makes it so convenient.

City Scape Penthouse is in the perfect location to enjoy beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. It is roomy with two King Beds and two bathrooms which is perfect for two couples. The kitchen has everything one might need, but the restaurants in the area are so good, we only cooked once in five days. The views of the mountains from the large deck were gorgeous. We only had one issue and Paradise Retreats handled it right away. They are always available. The condo was pricy, but well worth it for a special occasion during the holidays. Great property.

Lovely little property. Location on “The Lanes” is the best for Pierpont Beach. No surprises with the cottage and the company is very responsive. Our grandkids who live in Midtown Ventura especially enjoyed the deck. We appreciated not having to clean the entire cottage before we left as has sometimes been required from other owners.

We stayed at Bella Vista in September 2021. It was lovely. The smaller house was brand new and gorgeous. The larger home could use a little renovating, especially the kitchen cabinets. The property was gorgeous, the tennis court was great, the location was very nice with a beautiful view. The house was well stocked and we had a great time around the fire at night and using the pizza oven. Neither of the coffee pots were working so we were a bit frustrated with that by the time new coffee makers were available on our last morning. The only thing we wish was a nice bowl of avocados to start. We were surrounded by an amazing avocado orchard that we were not allowed to touch and all we wanted to do was try one. We had one very minor issue upon arrival after 8PM on a Thursday night. I called Paradise Retreats and was referred to their after-hours number. My husband and I rented a beautiful property through Paradise Retreats 2 years ago and had a seamless experience with Paradise Retreats. Everything worked very well! Two days ago, we signed a Reservation Agreement and paid the required 25% deposit to rent another one of their properties for a month for next winter. Paradise Retreats acknowledged electronic receipt of our Agreement. I even spoke to one of their agents 1 day ago and verified with her that all documents were submitted successfully. Basically, my husband and I were all set, or so we thought. This morning I received an email from Paradise Retreats stating that the property owner had increased the rates for winter stays and that the cost of the one month rental would now be approximately $6,000 additional dollars. So, this was after we had a signed Reservation Agreement for around $6,000 less. I asked one of their very polite agents to please help me understand where specifically in the Agreement it said that the homeowner had the right to change the terms of the signed agreement unless there were circumstances out of his or her control. She only stated that this wasn’t “typical” but that it occasionally happened and that she was so sorry that it had happened to us. She offered to help me with rentals in the future. I thanked her for her offer but stated that we wouldn’t be doing business with a company that didn’t honor a signed agreement.

We absolutely have loved our stay in the VRBO home by paradise retreats. The house was immaculate/clean, which is essential in this time of COVID-19. The house was also stocked with toilet paper, cleaning supplies, a wide variety of spices, top-of-the-line appliances and every kitchen gadget you can imagine from juicers to blenders. Aesthetically the home is beautiful with cheerful, positive decor and everything neatly labeled and organized throughout the house. There was also a very impressive library of movies and family games like Scrabble and other board games. The yard is immaculately kept and maintenance of the lawn and pool are regimental. The maid service is fantastic and thorough and they are friendly and professional. One of the best homes I have ever rented. The house was tucked away in a private location yet close enough to downtown for dinners and activities. It has plenty of space for a large group and was so clean (having the hot tub is def an added bonus). I felt right at home when I arrived. On the day we left we had minimal clean up to do compared to other houses I’ve rented in the past (ie stripping the beds and emptying garbage) because they take care of it all. These guys are horrible. Just look at the other one star reviews and it paints a picture of a very greedy company with unethical practices. We rented a house with them in February 2020 for a wedding in April 2020. COVID hit and we had planned to travel however Governor Newsome ordered a complete lockdown of our area. We could not travel. I was also nervous, as many in my group are seniors with underlying health concerns. I tried explaining this to Paradise and they were completely unsympathetic. Only after pushing them would they offer either a half refund or a credit for future travel. Not knowing when the wedding would be postponed to, I asked for a full refund. Again, back and forth, it was like talking to a wall. Finally, I had to go through my credit card company to get a full refund. The latest indignity? They just charged my credit card again, four days ago, trying to get some money out of me. They must be going under and desperate - either that or they are just that underhanded!

I spent the last part of our stay cleaning... It was VERY clean when we left. My son was getting married and we got a large house so that grandparents and aunt and uncle (respectable, and over 55) would have a place close by. The house itself was nice. But very expensive. For example: we cleaned up a spill in the kitche (on the counter top so no damage ). but we were charged $14.00 for a washcloth. After grandpa and gramma were gone, I cleaned. I put the linens in a stack by the washer and dryer. The company took pictures and tallied and charged me for the damage. Example. Some drips of coffee on a sheet $120.00. A washcloth $14.00. They didnt even wash them to see if the coffee drips came out. They just took a picture and proceeded to charge me hundreds, yes hundreds, of dollars above and beyond the cleaning and deposits.Be prepared to be charged hundred of dollars more. than you thought youd end up paying.

This company deliberately and maliciously chose to ignore federal law regarding disability rights. Per VRBOs policies which is where our rental was initiated they do not have the right to charge a deposit of any sort for a service animal and yet not only did they attempt to charge us a $2500 cash deposit and an additional cleaning fee they also tried to make us sign a pet addendum. Per the ADA Neither a deposit nor a surcharge may be imposed on an individual with a disability as a condition to allowing a service animal to accompany the individual with a disability, even if deposits are routinely required for pets.” I chose to make the fact that I travel with medical equipment, including but not limited to my service animal, known to the rental company upfront. Per federal law, I am not even required to disclose that he travels with me and yet in the spirit of open and honest communication I did what I believed to be right. I am glad I did so as I cannot imagine the nightmare that would have ensued had I chosen to simply arrive with him. I had an extensive conversation with their office and even sent over VRBOs policy as well as additional links to the ADA for general knowledge. Somehow, they still made the decision to ignore federal law and discriminate against me and my disability. I truly am curious to know if they would also charge a pet fee to someone who is blind with a guide dog? Or do they consider the mental aspect of my disability what relegates my Service Dog to the status of a pet? Im curious also why they did not propose to charge a damage deposit for my wheelchair on the off chance that I bumped into a wall, what if I had been an amputee whose prosthetic might scuff the floor? Where exactly do they draw the line with their discrimination? Would give them 0 stars if I could.Edited to include additional details: First of all I never told you the breed of my service dog. He is not a Siberian husky you somehow decided on your own that he was. Secondly, I have included the ADA pamphlet for general knowledge which I also sent to you after our initial conversation which clearly states that service animals are working animals NOT PETS. This seems to be where I am loosing you. It also clearly states that If a business requires a deposit or fee to be paid by patrons with pets it must waive the charge for service animals.
