Well-organized, well-stocked, used bookstore. Its actually bigger than you think, head to the back for travel and childrens books. I think the owner must like Scifi the most as it has one of the better collections I have seen. Yes, most books are paperbacks but not all.

If you love books then this is the place for you!! It has probably thousands of books. They had the 1 book I was looking for and couldnt find anywhere else. I left with 5 books but wanted more, flying back home so no room for more. I will be back next time Im out here. Lady behind counter, I believe is the owner, she was very friendly and helpful. Price of book is on the 1st page in pencil.Came back into town and couldnt wait to see if they had the books I couldnt find at home... She had them!

A great discovery in Old Town Goleta. This book seller has been in business since the 70s. They have a large selection of used paperback books covering a variety of educational and recreational reading. Find what you are looking for and save a bundle.

My favorite bookstore in town and has been for 10 years. From classics to funky little gems; you can find all you need and more here for a fraction of the cost of a new book. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and has been running the shop for over a decade and is always so happy to chat, or help you find what you need or what you don’t know you need. If you love books you will love walking in here. From floor to ceiling there are rows and rows of books. Paid about $3 per paperback which is a tad pricey for used books, but completely reasonable given the higher expense of Santa Barbara. Owner was definitely knowledgeable and kept to herself. Nice place!

Where to start? I raised two kids on this store from Dr. Seuss to Harry Potter books on CD while going to travel ball games to prevent car sickness. This place is the best! The owner is amazing and curates her inventory with a broad spectrum as a librarian would. I love the seasonal window display and suggestions!

Really good collection of paperback mysteries, sci-fi and literature for all those who read popular fiction! She gives store credit for trade-ins. Dont miss the kids books in the very back. Reasonable prices for books in great condition!

Not so organized and some books have no prices on them. If you ask…she would roll up her eyes and wouldn’t know about finding certain books by last name let alone if you are able to find C after B…LOL!Overall, a good book shop with Tintin costing only seven bucks. It’s just narrow and Santa Barbara(Goleta).

Superb collection, friendly and knowledgeable staff. A dream to browse in. Dense as a thicket with sci-fi, mystery and genre books galore. Plus a respectable selection of everything else might want. I love this place and visit every time Im in town. I hope you will too!

Huge selection of adult and childrens books. All reasonably priced. Very helpful and nice. She gave me a 10% discount for being a teacher. I will definitely be back

I went to school at UCSB and came here a lot for sci-fi and fantasy books - my whole collection of Moorcock books came from this store. I still always stop by if I drive through, always manage to find something good.

The owner know exactly which books are in which position.They have a wide variety of fiction, sci-fi, history and philosophy. But the collection of non-fiction is not new and I did not find a lot of here. The price is very good and if you have time, you can find out very good books
