I would like to recognize Nicholas Tartaglini, the Sales Representative at Palm Springs Hyundai, for my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe, Calligraphy. He is a professional whose honesty and integrity compelled me to consider purchasing a vehicle without first conducting a physical inspection or test drive. Something I would have never done in the past. In retrospect, it was a great decision. He has set a new, high bar for his industry. I would heartily recommend Nicholas and Palm Springs Hyundai to friends and family interested in purchasing a great Hyundai vehicle.

Extremely poor customer service. Wednesday, couldnt get through via phone and error message populated on the website online appointment section. Thursday, again no answer, but was able to access the chat line. Was told Id receive a text confirmation, an email and a call back as two of my questions were unanswered. Received a texted confirmation of appointment only. Called Monday, twice, and was only able to leave a message. Still no call back.

We recently bought a new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. Our salesman was Nick and he was great! He showed us the vehicles we were interested in and didnt pressure us into buying. We went back the following week and he was qextended helpful.Our prior vehicle was an 28 year old Toyota, so he went through all the new features and even had us come back and go through questions we had after driving it for a week. I highly recommend Palm Springs Hyundai and especially Nick!

Palm Springs Hyundai is one of the BEST dealerships Ive ever been too. Their Service Department team is exceptional and they do a great job. Ive never had a bad experience and they always took great care of my 2014 Hyundai Sonata and me. I highly recommend George Nassar, Service Manager and Eric Gracia, Service writer. Compared to other Hyundai Dealership Ive been to and after having to deal with some very very poor customer Service Departments, trying to take advantage of their customers and mechanics intentionally causing problems to my vehicle so I have to come back to have it fixed, Palm Springs Hyundai is the one I would want working on my car! They are honest and dont try to rip you off! Thank you, George and Eric.......I wish I still had you guys working on my Hyundai!!!!!

I won’t recommend to go to this dealership for service or car issues to be help with. Customer service from employees the worse. No resolve problems, disrespectful, not help until you get mad at them. Not give you any deadline to know when your car would be fix. Also make an appointment wouldn’t make a difference. I would be able to follow if there were working on my car or not by the app and my car was sitting at the dealership for so many days without get someone to work on it. Nobody call me for follow up. I have always to call and did not get a spec answer from the issue my car has. To get a car while my car was at the dealership was a nightmare. Basically you have to scale things in order to get what you should get when you did a purchase of over $44,000 dollars car Hyundai Tucson hybrid 2023 that start having problems at 900 miles of driving. Unacceptable. They do not find the problem in a very new car.

The service department is terrible at Palm Springs Hyundai. After 4 years of dealing with them to fix my vehicle with the numerous problems with my vehicle. All the problems started in 2022 with my 2019 Elantra. Had transmission issues, breaks would pull to the left, ac was humid and warm, the steering was creaking and the paint started coming off. The service department has the worst customer service. You would make an appointment and after two days no one would even look at the vehicle and no one would call and tell you what’s going on. After dealing with them I would never buy a Hyundai again.

If I could give them a BIG ZERO I would.I’m so over them,I’ve been going to PS Hyundai for a long time for everything (7 years)But in the last 2 year’s it has been AWFUL 2 hour appts turn into 3 and a half hour appts.So in the last year I stopped going to them I’m seeing a very competent private mechanic,I have no issues ALWAYS a pleasant attitude NO EXCUSES about ANYTHING.BUT, I had to go to PS Hyundai today because of a recall to replace the A FUSE ONE FUSE!!! that only Hyundai could replace.So Eric,said it would take about ONE HOUR after 1 and a half I went to find out how much longer he said he would check 2 hours later I had to find him again all he could say was he was working as fast as he could so I said my car is right there go check he came back and said it hasn’t been worked on yet😳To say the least I was SUPER UPSET so it was all bad after that all I got was one excuse after another got my keys and left nothing was done And service manager George was absolutely no help either.I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Go to STEVE ALLEN !!!!!!!! He is truly the best, I shopped around with different dealerships and different sales people. Steve blew every single one of them out of the water. He treated me with respect and courtesy. Not too mention he has the cutest dog in the world.Palm spring Hyundai is lucky to have him as one of their salesman. We bought a nice blue Hyundai Kona from here but even if we didnt find a car the treatment we received here wouldve made us comeback in a heartbeat. If you want someone trustworthy who has your best interest in mind go to Steve ALLEN at Palm springs Hyundai. I know this review might seem over the top, but I shopped around for a while and was horrified by the treatment I received by different car dealers. Some of them even tried scamming me or lying to me adding extra fees and add ons or even running my credit without permission. Steve did not do any of that or make me feel pressured and that was ultimately why we chose to buy a car through him. The world is a better place with people like you Steve. Thank you so much I hope you get a raise and the appreciation you deserve.

Never thought my cars motor would suddenly die on me, but it happened - and right before a much anticipated weekend getaway in late April. From the beginning, Josh and George at Hyundai Palm Springs Service Center ensured that my experience would be as smooth and painless as possible. Josh quickly arranged for a loaner that was a new Tuscon, which has been favorite car since 2005, which allowed me to take my weekend trip in comfort and style. George also reassured me that my experience would be a good one. Sadly, I would need a new motor. Again, Joshs professionalism shone: he worked hard to get my warranty claim approved. He kept in touch with me every step of the way with phone calls and texts. I picked up my KONA about a week ago and have enjoyed my cars performance everyday. This whole experience has proven that a Mom-and-Pops approach to customer service, to borrows Joshs words, really does make an impression on customers. This one will certainly knows where to go for his next KONA.

My experience at Hyundai of Palm Springs was so bad that I had to write it all down to better process it.One day in late December 2023, my 2022 Gray Ioniq 5 had a warning light appear regarding my front safety system. It said it was malfunctioning and I couldnt put the car in cruise control anymore. Naturally, I went to my closest service center at Hyundai of Palm Springs to get it checked out.At first, the service associate told me that theyd have to recalibrate the front radar sensor at the cost of $300. I said fine. After waiting the whole day until the service center closed, I was told I would need to come back tomorrow and there would be no loaner vehicles available. Once again, no problem. My girlfriend picked me up from the dealership that night and dropped me off the next day.Next day, Im told they cant recalibrate the radar sensor. It will need to be replaced and they will call it in for a warranty replacement. I say, great. But suddenly, they pivot and tell me that actually the warranty doesnt cover the radar sensor replacement because the sensor was damaged by an accident. I say, How is that possible? I wasnt in an accident. There is no damage to the front of the car or the area the sensor is located. The associate reiterates that the sensor is damaged and tells me I can call my insurance and they can get an secondary assessment.I call my insurance. They tell me they will not cover the radar sensor replacement because there is no visible damage to the front of the vehicle where the radar is located. Now I feel totally crestfallen. I have a broken car and I was told will cost thousands of dollars to replace this sensor that just randomly stopped working. I drive my car without a functional front safety system for over 3 months and several road trips.My regular service notification goes on and I bring it to a new service center, Hyundai of Moreno Valley. The service center associate here tells me they tried the same recalibration on the radar sensor, it didnt work, so they filed for a replacement under the warranty and the new part should arrive in about a week. Not only that, the attempts at recalibration werent $300, they were free. The broken radar sensor was just fixed today (for free under warranty) as it should have been.So, the Hyundai of Palm Springs dealership service center lied to me. Its clear that they never called in for a warranty on that part or misrepresented the warranty request they made. They lied to me and tried to get me to pay for an expensive part out of pocket, while at the same time putting my safety at risk because I had no working front safety system.Im never going here again. Im telling all my friends who are looking for a new car, never to buy a car from the Hyundai of Palm Springs dealership. If you got this far reading my review, I hope this review serves as a warning and you never go to this dealership.Ive wasted so much time, money, and got so stressed over an issue that should have been easily resolved, but wasnt. The only way Id consider changing my perception of this dealership is if they gave me a new Ioniq for 99.9% off. If I could give Hyundai of Palm Springs 0 out of 5 stars I would.

I bring my car in because my car engine feels forced but the mecanic cant find the problem and they send me out to drive a car that isnt working right i just cant believe it do i start finding the problem my self and i find out my car doesnt have a single drop of engine oil i bought 2 quarts of oil and put it in the engine the car stop shaking and vibrating immediately but the engine is running forced still all of this happened right after the last oil change so what happened here is that the mecanic claim that he change the oil in my car but he did not i am trying to resolve my hyunday sonata limited big problem at my own because hyunday dealer cant figured out and cant resolve the problem. so my car engine was ready to dye because no oil wow this is ridiculous and they charge me for oil change no good

Totally incompetent and quite evil too. First they gave me back the car knowing the charger wasn’t fixed and that I couldn’t use the supercharger on long trips getting me stuck somewhere overnight. Then they kept the vehicle for almost 2 months for no apparent reason when they did have it again to fix the problem, now a couple months later the charger is stuck in the port and I have to tow it to different dealer (of course).Did I mention they also lie about just about everything?Unbelievable the way they do business and treat customers. You will NEVER see me again there again and I even purchased the car there.Never again!

I bought a used 2015 Hyundai Genesis from this dealership recently.The good: This dealership does not seem to have hidden fees. I paid $85 document fee over the advertised price (and tax and license).The bad: Not all known issues are disclosed properly. The driver side mirror is supposed to fold automatically when parked, and to lower itself when set to reverse. The mechanism was broken on this vehicle. The dealership does not disclose this issue on the inspection report. They actually hid the defect by setting the vehicle mirror not to fold when parked.I am not expecting the dealership to repair every problem on a used car. However, I would expect for them to disclose issues so buyers can make an informed decision.

Up until today I was fine with the service Ive received. I brought my car in and stated very clearly I was on lunch. I was NOT informed how long the service would take, though the agent said he would check and let me know...he DIDNT. After an hour I asked the agent how much longer and he said almost done, let me check with the tech, he DiDNT.Another half hourwent by and I asked again, and again he said let me check, he DIDNT. I finally asked the CS girl if my car was ready ( in case I missed something), she asked the agent, and he then came and said it would be at least another hour.This is TOTALLY unacceptable business, if je would have told me initially it was gong t be 2.5 hours, I would have brought it back on the weekend with no problem. I said you need to get me back to work, which he did.Its been almost 2 hours since I left and I called to say Id get a ride back to get my car because I couldnt be without it all day...AGAIN he said hed check with the tech and call me right back..NO call.Long story short, dont bring your car here.

Found a 2019 Chevy Volt Premier on their website. I entered my 2017 Chevy Volt LT info to get a quote. Their website offered a trade in quote of $18.4k. I set up an appointment to go look at the car (100 mile round trip). Everything went well until we got to the trade in value of my car. Suddenly Im being offered $13k then $13.5k for my 2017 volt. Sales manager says he complained about the website making ridiculous trade in offers. Excuse me, but how is that the customers fault? They suggested I sell my car on Carvana or at Carmax. Im trying to buy a car from them and theyre ducking responsibility for their own websites offer on my trade in. I fully expected some variation in the trade in offer based upon visual inspection, but $5,000?! They dont call them Stealerships for nothing. I have a call into the general manager, hoping hell call me back. If they make it right, Ill remove this review, if not it stands.Talked to the general manager. He was willing to come up to $14.5k, but the bottom line, rather than stand up and do whats right, he hides behind policies and wont take responsibility for website!

Ive bought over 25 cars and I have to say this dealership and salesman Peter were great. No pressure, NO MARK UPS, NO ADD ONS, NO PRICING GAMES. They even let me test drive the vehicle alone! Ive bought several BMWs, Audis, and Mercedes and I have to honestly say Hyundia has blown them all out of the water with price/options and being LOADED. I cannot say enough about how relieved I am to have found a service department that I trust and feel comfortable with. I have a car servicing phobia. I always seem to feel super nervous and intimidated when dealing with my cars, which I have about a 30% knowledge bank on how they function. I came to this service department in tears worrying that I did something fatal to my engine. Josh patiently, and calmly ensured me that their team would take a look at it and give me their solid thoughts on how I should move forward. We ran diagnostics, figured out the ailments and moved forward. They continued to monitor my car every 1,000 miles, without charge, to ensure me that my Tuscon was going to be my trusted travel companion for the foreseeable future. I took my 2021 santa fe hybrid there for a service appointment after hitting a curb really bad and was worried they were gonna hammer me with a huge repair bill. $79 bucks for an alignment is all they charged.By the way, my mom told me that theyre so nice because she gets her Hyundai serviced there too and I was thinking yeah theyre so nice as they rip you off so bad. I went to the Hyundai service center today because I needed help putting the new plates on, and I didnt have the right tool. I also mentioned to the service consultant that I had heard there was a recall about the engines catching fire. The service person said shed check that and have the plates put on. I literally waited 4 hours in the service area lounge for this to be completed. During that time, the service person walked by me at least 5 times and even offered me bottled water. Im a very patient person and I had assumed it was taking time to fix the recall issue.Finally, another woman asked me what I was waiting for, and I said my car! The original service person then asked to speak to me and asked for my information. She asked why I was waiting? and I reminded her. She said the car had been ready for hours and it only took 5 minutes to change the plates! I became very frustrated upon hearing this that I waited 4 hours for nothing, and asked why she didnt have the courtesy to let me know my car was ready? The service person said I didnt fill out any paperwork so they didnt know what I was waiting for. I asked, was I supposed to fill out the paperwork myself? Is that how they operate there that customers are supposed to complete their own paperwork? She said she checked out 35 people since the time I was waiting. That infuriated me even more. No apology, nothing. She said, dont get mad at me! Like this was my fault? I said, Why wouldnt I get mad? I just wasted 4 hours of my time for nothing. She then said she couldnt talk to me and walked away. Not even an offer to wash my car for my troubles, not that I expected it, but at the least I would have expected an apology for wasting my time. They never even checked on the recall issue. We were considering buying an Ionic 6 from this dealer. But if this is how poorly the service department is, we want nothing to do with Hyundai. I realize mistakes can happen but to not even offer an apology and to treat me like this was my own fault, is not professional. Ill be writing a review of my experience on Yelp and Google as well; I am really shocked how poorly I was treated by Hyundai.

Best dealership experience in my life. Went in for service and oil change, dealership staff was nice and took my car in to get serviced immediately. Left and came back around the end of the day and lord knows that I should take better care of my car, the dealership washed my car interior and exterior complementary, Ive never had that happen.Management is doing an excellent job here, will be coming back.

Finance a use vehicle from them. The dealership messed up while detailing my car and runied plastics on the car as well as a completely missing bolt and loose bolt on the interior of the vehicle questioning the way they thoroughly inspect the vehicles. after being told they would fix it locally where I am located. Since I am five and a half hours away from the dealership, I was then ignored for a day then told that I would have to drive back five and a half hours to their dealership for them to fix the problem and having me pay for the gas and time for a problem that they admitted was there mistake. Now Im trying to reach out to the general manager Trey and i have been ignored for 2 days from the GM. Instead he is having his other managers only email me. They refuse to call me to solve this problem This is sad and pathetic that they treat their customers after only having the car for a week and two days. 0 out of 10 would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Its truly sad how a dealership like this could take advantage of its customers and not have any repercussions for their actions! I would love to come to an agreement to fix this problem but it has now come to this point. All I would ask is for a call from the general manager Trey to solve this problem but it seems like thats too much to ask seems like he hides behind his desks and doesnt solve customer complaints or problems that they made and have admitted to. Please for all current and future buyers inspect your vehicles thoroughly or take it to another dealership to get it inspected before purchasing from this dealership and definitely do not let them detail your car because they will ruin it and and theyre only solution to this is making you pay for the damages that they caused.

Replaced engine on 9 year old Santa Fe under warranty for free, then shipped it 1200+ miles to my home in Austin TX no charge! Cindy in service was our contact. She was very kind and helpful. This dealership treated me like a long term repeat customer and I didn’t even buy the car there or live in the area. My engine went out when I was passing through PS on the way to LA. If I could give a zero I would give this dealership a zero. I took my car less than a week ago and they did a 120,000 mile service plus other work. When I took my car into this dealership no shaking or high idling happening. Since I picked up this car it has been shaking and bucking too. I will never allow this dealership to work on my car. Now I am in another state and no one has any availability to check my car. I called to speak to the service manager and I was brushed off after spending over $1000 dollars. I purchased a 2019 Hyundai Kona EV in late 2019, Mid-December. The purchase process went relatively well and the nightmare started shortly thereafter with the exception of the mileage. The new vehicle I was buying had almost 300 miles on it already, but I was willing to let this go considering its difficult to buy EVs in Texas.I arranged to have the vehicle shipped to me here in Texas via a 3rd party (Whole different nightmare,) and when the shipper arrived, the salesman, by his own admission, drove the vehicle up the ramps. This mustve been done at far too high a rate of speed as when I received the vehicle there was paint and indention damage to the underside of the bumper. Additionally, since he drove it up the ramps, the shippers insurance was negated.Additionally, upon further inspection, three other issues were noted. The first was that one of the screws used to hold the license plate holder was stripped and the wrong size, therefore, pushing down on the plastic holster behind the bumper. The final issue was no detailing had been done at all, or done very poorly since the interior windows were smeared all over!I tried 4 times to get in touch with the owner/manager, Mr. Wiley, after being told by sales there was nothing they could do. No voicemails were returned to myself OR the delivery driver in order to compensate for the damages caused or answer for the shoddy condition upon which the vehicle arrived (Which none of these could have been caused by the driver.)

I absolutely do not recommend this service dept. Today we went to the dealership because we needed a new brake light bulb as well as a driving light bulb. The young man at the desk said no problem, have a seat and we will look after that for you. Both bulbs were replaced and we were sent on our way. NO CHARGE. Unbelievable, at home a headlight was over $50.00 and they would not even help us put it in. We were pleasantly surprised when we drove into a newly remodeled Palm Springs Hyundai dealership. . We were greeted by Peter Keroles, the Internet Manager. My wife Susan was looking for particular car and Peter walked her to it. Normally you have to special order the car you want and wait 3 to 6 months to get it. Then other dealers add additional fees to the car. Peter didnt do that to us. He gave us a great trade in value for our car and sold us the new car at sticker price. He transferred our ADA handicap boom and hitch to our new car immediately and didnt charge us for any of it. I visited Palm Spring for a short mini-break. My Hyundai broke down twice for different reasons and had to be towed for service on two different days. Palm Springs Hyundai service staff was uniformly terrific. They helped me get a rental car replacement at low rates and ultimately determined it was covered by warranty, without me even asking. They were friendly and helpful on the phone and even more helpful when I arrived with the tow trucks. The work was done in a timely manner even though both visits were emergencies without an appointment and, as far as I can tell, the quality of the work was fine. And I had drive out to Palm desert and blew my fuse when I had tried to use the charging station they had recommended using this app called EVgo. September 2022, I took my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate (which I purchased at PS Hyundai) because the right low beam headlight was not working. I was told the ENTIRE headlight assembly had to be replaced. Cost: $1,061.86. The labor to install would be an additional $247.50. I was required to pre-pay for the part which was located in Texas. I took the car home and did research on the problem. Only the bulb needed to be replaced and was quickly done by another local auto repair facility. Cost: $419.93 including labor. Multiple calls and emails sent to the service manager failed to explain why PS Hyundai wanted to replace the entire headlight assembly, when a bulb would solve the problem. The general manager, Mr. Wiley, never responded to any of my emails. My $1,061.86 was refunded. There was no effort by PS Hyundai to explain why they wanted to replace a part that was not required.

On May 4, 2021, my pampered 2015 BMW X-1 – with only 42,000 miles -- suffered sudden & complete engine failure! It was 1 year out of warranty, BMW did not assist me, and I was forced to sell the car for junk. My research led me to explore getting a Hyundai. Working with Cody King, my sales associate at Palm Springs Hyundai, was a pleasure. It took me several months to make that decision, and Cody was patient and helpful. Despite friends and family telling me that I was “limiting myself” by not exploring other SoCal Hyundai dealerships, I felt that I wanted to support the local economy, and Cody had been so great all these months, with no guarantee that it would pay off for him. I am retired now. But all of my careers have been “people jobs” and, therefore, I am an excellent judge of character. Cody is engaging, low-key and knowledgeable. Even after I signed the paperwork, he sat with me in the car and set up my Blue Tooth and Android Auto, and talked me through the finer points of the car (and answered more questions). Every staff person I met at Palm Springs Hyundai defied any preconceptions anyone might have had about “car salesmen.” It has been a terrific experience. I sent a message about it and Nicholas T. responded. I ended up buying that car and having it shipped to NC. I was in the market for the Ioniq 5 and have been shopping around since last April to find one without ridiculous markups and mandatory accessory packages. And yes, their policy of no price gouging is true, the sales contract looks like an iPhone receipt: msrp, tax, doc fee etc., zero haggling and “let me talk to my manager”. The whole staff was very friendly and professional as well. Since I was planning on paying AZ sales tax, I found out that I needed an escort to drive me to the border town of Blythe to sign and notarize tax transfer documents. Cody’s Grandmother and her friend were kind enough to escort me even though the traffic was delayed due to freeway damage from the recent monsoon. I felt terrible that it took so long to get to Blythe but they were so friendly and I appreciated them guiding me through that process. It really seems like a family environment at Palm Springs Hyundai.Overall, I am over the moon with my Ioniq 5 and truly appreciative of the service and team over at Palm Springs Hyundai. I went to this dealership to have a transmission leak fixed (no more than 3 months ago) and had paid over $300 to do so. I did not have a pleasant encounter there because of a blond-haired woman and the tech assigned to my vehicle. They both spoke to me in a condescending manner as I was just asking questions to become more knowledgeable about what was going on with my car. I suppose they thought I was questioning the techs ability maybe, Im not sure, but I truly was only curious. They were extremely rude and seemed to want to rush me out after the fact. I was not intending to write a bad review as I try not to interfere with anyones livelihood, however, when I recently took my car in to another location to have my engine oil changed, they told me that I had a transmission leak. This leads me to believe that this dealership (tech) never truly fixed the issue, but took my money nonetheless. Its very disheartening when I come across people like this. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place if you are coming in as a new customer/client.

I just bought an Ioniq 5 from here and the experience couldnt have been smoother. I called them up and Cody told me exactly what they had off the top of his head. He also reassured me that theres no markup or any other dealer-installed BS. I put down a deposit, and then drove out from OC to close the deal the next day. They were more than happy to work with me whether I pay cash or take advantage of the low interest rates. Gary in the financing office doesnt even waste a minute going over aftermarket warranty, wheel insurance, paint protection, etc. Why cant car buying always be this easy? Im grateful for the whole team at Palm Springs Hyundai for helping me purchase such an in-demand car at invoice price and in a timely manner. I recently helped my sister purchase her vehicle here and it was a smooth transaction. During the entire process Matt, our sales associate, was courteous and professional. Having sat through 41 prior vehicle transactions I’ve become pretty good at working with dealerships to secure fair deals for my family and friends. The bottom line: The Desert doesn’t have the lowest prices on vehicles, but a few hundred dollars isn’t worth the drive to congested areas like Orange County or San Diego and I like to do business with the local guys. I had an issue with the a/c that had to be dealt with at the dealer. While they were working on that, they checked out my vehicle and told me that it needed all new brakes and rotors. They told me the rotors were so bad that they could not be turned, had to be replaced. Quoted me $800. Boyfriends son is a mechanic, he said, dont get them replaced at the dealer, Ill do it. I ordered a full set of brakes and rotors online.The old rotors were in PERFECT condition and the brakes still have half their life left on them. Palm Springs Hyundai tried to sell me on a costly repair that was totally unnecessary. We went ahead and changed everything out because I had already bought the parts. I cant believe professional mechanics at PS Hyundai would make such a mistake I can only assume therefore that this was a blatant rip-off attempt. (I kept the old rotors, if anyone wants to see them; I will try to take pics and post them here later.)There is a factory recall part-replacement that was supposed to take place yesterday or today. Service rep tells me the part, which was supposedly ordered on Tuesday as an overnight delivery (today is Friday) still hasnt arrived. More likely, they simply dont want to work on a Hyundai recall issue when they have big money to bleed from customers. I am beginning a cross-country trip in three days, which they know. But they obviously are not concerned about customer safety. STAY AWAY or lose a lot of money.

Extremely disappointed with my experience today. I came in around 5pm to a rather empty show room. There was no receptionist at the desk and just beyond the wall of brochures stood two employees casually talking. They stared at myself and my brother as if they never saw African American’s before. No one greeted us or even acknowledged the fact we were in the building. One salesperson walked past with a couple and the people looking at a car spoke to us. The other two men in the office just followed us with their eyes. My brother went outside to look at the Ionic5 and I sat in the showroom as the sun was too much for me. Around 5:15 we left, and I decided not to pursue Hyundai for my next vehicle purchase. I’ll go back to BMW and get a i4. I drove down to Palm Springs from Los Angeles because this dealer was the only one that had the Ionic5 in stock. Thank you for wasting my time and leaving a bad taste in my mouth about the brand. On Wednesday Sept 25th I had a 19 hour day going from Maine to California. I had a morning meeting on the 16th which went fine but I then spent the next 4 1/2 hours (through a series of misadventures) trying to get my car started. Finally, with the help of Hyundai Road Service, I had the car running but with a battery that wouldnt hold a charge. Without phoning ahead I headed over to Palm Springs Hyundai fully expecting them to tell me there was nothing they could do that late in the day. I was prepared to just leave the car and have someone come and get me. At that point my frustration level was sky high and my sense of humor extremely low. I pulled into the service area and saw a young man coming from where they were working on cars (I think his name was Murphy). I asked him if he could help me, he asked me what the problem was and when I told him he said lets take a look and took the car to be checked. He was back in a few minutes to tell me the battery was bad, it was under warranty and they would have it replaced shortly. After two very frustrating days you cant believe the elation I felt hearing that good news. I think from beginning to end I was at the dealership for about half an hour before pulling out with my new battery and the car humming. Was met by the service advisor and I explained that I had an appointment for an oil change. I explained a couple concerns I had with my car. He took notes and said he would have the tech take a look. He then directed me to the waiting area with coffee, bottled water, popcorn machine and 2 televisions. The advisor updated me twice on the status of my car while I was waiting. The mechanic then took the car for a test drive. They then hand washed and vacuumed my car before delivering it to me. I was at the dealer for maybe an hour and a half. I guess) with cero professionalism or good customer service told me to go somewhere else to have my service done because she was “wasting” so much time with me telling me that they didn’t receive the appointment that I not only booked online through their website, but also through a phone call. Not only did they match it, they surpassed it with their friendly and efficient service. What a service performance by George!!! He went beyond everything I ever experienced in car service hospitality industry. He droved my car and I was on passenger seat next to him. George always leaves his office to see if any of his staff needs support. As well greets and attends to any customers he sees waiting. I also greatly appreciate technician Ryan who took on my made for Hyundai Sonata electronic and lighting product installation. At first the install did not work, yet Ryan maintained a positive attitude and intelligently figured out the Hyundai ambient light product installation created for a non Hybrid and adapted it for my 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Although the cost of installation increased by $100 due to time, it was worth it as Ryan trouble shot and professionally installed the product. Ryan is your PS Hyundai secret weapon and priceless asset. Finally as I was the last customer out thank you to the gentleman who washed my car. It was already dark and getting very frigid cold and I told him he did not need to wash the car. I was concerned he might catch a cold. Regardless he smiled and said it was absolutely no problem. Over all going to PS hyundai is often like arriving at the Ritz Carlton. A warm an expeditious welcome, pleasant wait, double check with follow up provided, all problems solved, and jobs well executed. I just wish there was a pool to sit by. A complete utter fiasco from start to finish upon acquiring my vehicle there was no gas placed in the car on the way home from the dealership I ran out of gas in the middle of an intersection because it was a used vehicle BMW roadside Was not on the vehicle. The following day I contacted the dealership the only thing I had required from them was the Gatsby placed in my vehicle the same as if anyone elses car just because I left with the vehicle after hours does not justify no gas. My car was also known for detailed I had written everyone from finance my cell phone management with nothing being done about it. Purchased last two new cars there. Service dept is well run and are customer oriented and accommodating. Business office and mgmt departed from policy of forcing an engraved glass security charge on top of all other charges to buyers, a questionable charge and a charge that irritated me to the point of going elsewhere had it not been for excellent sv dept. Experiences there. It still bothers me eight years later. That irritant cost them a star and a bad mark to all who participated in that charge and similar schemes.Otherwise a good company with good people.

Beware..if you give the maintenance department (George) a bad review you will be treated badly. We took our car in 5 times, then we were invited to leave a review. When we left a unfavorable review, we were contacted in minutes and told they will never go the extra mile for us again. Then after they discovered a serious engine problem, George, continued to be rude, and when I picked up my car was told to never come back by George. They had our car 10 days. We reported the problem to them the first time at 19000 miles. 62 year, I have never seen such childish, unprofessional behavior.

I have a Hyundai Sonata Limited LTD. I bought an extended warrantee on my beautiful car. My car is a 2015 and has been garaged it looks like new and is babied. I am a 71 year old Disabled Veteran. When I approach my car door it is supposed to recognize the key phob and open automatically. Suddenly it was not recognizing the key phob. I brought this matter to the attention of the Service Manager at Palm Springs Hyundai many months ago and about 5,000 miles ago and he told me unless it happened in front of him there was nothing he could do. I suggested he keep the car find the problem and give me a loaner. I assured him I was not lying to him and if he kept the car it would happen. He said there was nothing he could do. I was ignored and pushed to the side having to live with the ongoing problem. I had to go into PS Hyundai recently, months later, for a new battery for the key phob. Once the battery was installed by a Service Tech I went to the car and the door would not open. I went and got another service tech Adrian Martinez who jumped into action and recognized the problem and arranged for a service date and a Loaner. The car was worked on for approximately a week and returned to me. The problem still exists it was not fixed and they could not find the problem Hyundai said they are going to get back to me for another service date and another Loaner. This is time consuming and a real inconvenience. I was sold this car based on the excellent service Hyundai provides and I even bought the extended warrantee. I have not received what I was promised and worried about what is going to happen and how much longer this is going to go on.

Okay Im giving this dealership three stars because the staff are nice however the vehicles are going into this stupidity mode of throwing a monitor up on a dash and having it not molded into the dashboard itself as design. They need to have their heads examined on their vehicles! I understand that the elimination of Knob seems to be a great cost savings. But remember constantly cleaning a monitor from the fingerprints and junk the gets on it is a hassle!

As a return customer I will NEVER go back to this dealership. My previous review was glowing and it sickens me that I have to write this one.I wrecked my 2015 Elantra Limited and for financial concerns returned and had to buy a used 2016 Elantra VE in July of 2017. While Im fairly satisfied with the vehicle, this one was assembled here in Alabama and my 2015 in Korea, they are miles apart with regard to fit, sound filtering, handling and gas mileage. They may be the same parts but one felt solid (the Korean one) and one feels like it was put together with an erector set by a 5 year old.I was rattled by the accident and they mustve seen me coming. The finance manager and salesperson told me the lien holder was requiring me to carry an extended warranty on the vehicle. Eight months later Im reviewing all the paperwork to realize I was sold a FOUR-year, 48,000 mile extended warranty for $1900 on a vehicle that carried a FIVE-year, 60,000 mile manufacturers warranty. Essentially a useless (at least to me) $1900 sheet of paper. Needless to say I was a bit peeved when I realized not only this bit but also saw that it CLEARLY states on the disclosure that an extended warranty can NOT be made a condition of the sale!I contacted the general manager via a detailed letter sent by US Mail. After no response in 10 days I called and left an extremely angry and curt voicemail. He in turn left me a voicemail chastising me for being upset and that their dealership does not tolerate people being angry (not his exact words but mine were quite direct). He further stated that he needed to pull my file and it would be a couple of days. After several more days I called back, reached him directly and he asked me what seemed to be the problem. He apparently had no knowledge of needing to pull my file but did speak with the finance manager and salesman and the proceeded to explain to me that the contract runs subsequent to the manufacturers warranty (gee, that would net to NINE years, 108,000 miles) and that I wasnt understanding that it also ran concurrently (gee, that makes it a worthless scrap of paper).The general manager couldnt seem to remember ANYTHING yet he continued to arrogant and condescending. As a prospective customer please dont take this wrong: You are a fool to shop here especially if you are not armed with a keen ear and sharp negotiating skills. And, to add insult to injury, Hyundai Motors responded that because this doesnt fall under the California Lemon Law for warranty issues it is not their concern and I should contact the dealer where I purchased the vehicle.This dealership has proven, at least in my eyes, that buying a car is still nothing more than card tricks, mumbo jumbo and unethical, if not illegal, trickery. Keep your cars, Ill buy from a US designed and built competitor in the future. Be forewarned, this place wants nothing more than to make money by taking you for as much as youve got. Good riddance!

I recently took in my 2016 Elantra due to no cold air from AC vents. Turns out compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. Being that I have a newer car and warranty I was confident dropping it off. HOwever, Due to the high miles my warranty was expired less the 2k miles ago... you can imagine my extreme disappointment. I dont know what Eric did but he called and made it so that I could have an affordable option to get my car fix and it was done, washed, and running cold air within a few hours! I brought my 2013 Hyundai Sonata to this dealership to address an engine recall, without going into too much detail let me just say that this was the third Hyundai seeking resolution to the same problem over a 5 year period.I was dismissed as before and im DONE accepting the lack of moral and unethical ways they choose to conduct their business and at my expense.I contacted Consumer Affairs and took my car to another dealership and my engine was replaced last week.I am grateful for this replacement but furious that I had to use 5 years of my life, time and energy fighting people who were content to let me drive away in a vehicle with my child that the engine could seize at anytime causing injury or death. I was toying with the possibility of purchasing an electric car and had test drove the Kona EV at another dealership and was smitten with the speed and power but disappointed when I was told the features were the same as the 2016 Tucson model I currently had.I decided to give it one more try and went to Palm Springs Hyundai. Our salesman, Juan, was empowered with knowledge. He had an iPhone plug in hand and connected my phone which brought up the apps Id been looking for (Spotify, Pandora, iTunes, etc.) and then went further so we could view texts and emails, have them read and even respond through Siri. He went through the PlugShare app to download to the phone which then appears on the display panel to find numerous charging stations, etc. The navigation that appears once the phone was connected was above and beyond.With this new information in hand, I was sold and they had my Kona delivered the next day to their dealership for pickup. Now thats what I call service! Did I mention the regenerative braking system is an added bonus?

Let me start by saying that I work in the automotive industry. I get how it works and I know dealers need those slam dunk deals sometimes to stay in business. When my elderly father went shopping for a used car at this dealership, they saw the disabled man with his Walker who is marginally cognitively functional and figured he was that slam dunk. When they first tried to sell him a 2012 accent for $9,500 (which you cant find a comparable one online over $8,000) I called the salesman myself. He gave me a story and my Dad really wanted it so I told him be couldny spend a dime over $8,900 on it which would still be WAY over a fair price. Instead of meeting the more-than-reasonable offer the dealer switched him to another unit, charged him just as much and then proceeded to take complete advantage of him in finance with over $1,500 in insurance the he doesnt need. Any reputable finance manager would have done a needs assessment and known my Dad might drive 5,000 miles from now until the day he dies. But business ethics are clearly not their strong suit.
