After a lot of research we decided on Subaru Crosstreks as our primary company vehicle. When we decided to look locally, we were impressed by the team at Pajouh Courtesy Automotive. Everyone we worked with was great, from our salesperson to finance to service. We met the owner, Jerry, and he was great too. Our staff loves the Crosstreks so much, we now have about 20 on the road, all purchased through this dealership. Now that we are having them serviced, that experience is good as well....and their new facilities are beautiful. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Ive been a customer of Courtesy Motors for 20+years now. Their new ownership has not only continued but improved the level of service Ive come to expect.Their new location and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and my most recent visit (for a routine oil change) was top notch. The staff was already outside of my vehicle before I had even openedy door to get out.They clearly explain everything that will be done prior to service and when I picked up my vehicle, the services performed were thoroughly reviewed with me.Their staff is courteous, willing to spend extra time for questions, and is the reason we keep coming back.

WARNING: Go outside of Chico to purchase your car. I tired to support the locals and keep my dollars in Chico and had the ABSOLUTE worst experience with Courtesy now called Pajouh. Even the employees told me that this dealership is dishonest and untrustworthy. My car is a lemon and undriveable and the manager and the owner do not care. I had to hire a lawyer and the dealership is still NOT taking any action so that I can surrender the car and be done with this nightmare. I called Mercedes corporate today and they told me that my local dealership is not taking swift and correct action to settle this. This dealership will take your money and provide you with sub par customer service. They had my car for 90 days and still could not fix it. DO NOT BUY a care here. Go to the bay or Sacramento where you can find professional dealerships.

The buying experience was great. Adrin was easy to work with.The thing that I don’t like is that the DMV fees weren’t calculated correctly so I got a bill in the mail asking for the difference. I went to pay and they don’t accept payments through the phone. They only accept checks in the mail or payment in person. I’m not from the area so the extra steps just seems a bit inconvenient.They all use the generic phone number with no extensions, which makes it a bit difficult to reach an exact person.

These guys have been amazing! Bought the car online and over the phone in about an hour. THEN, they delivered the car from Chico to Modesto, clean and with a full tank of gas, the very next day free of charge. Ive been trying to buy a car since mine was totaled on Christmas Eve 21, and have delt with, I cant remember how many dealerships. These guys stand head and shoulders above them all.

When it was time to replace my wife’s 11 year old Honda Civic with something a little newer and something a little nicer and something a little more reliable (and hopefully a little more fuel efficient too) I knew the first place we wanted to go back to was Courtesy Auto CenterAfter 20 years in Chico and buying our fair share of new and used cars from some -other- Chico dealers, it was the folks at Courtesy Auto Center who had treated us with the greatest amount of respect, honesty and fairness and I’m glad to say that after 10 years since our last pre-owned purchase with them, they’ve only gotten more respectful, honest and fair.Alan Ramos and the folks at Courtesy helped us through the entire process and while my wife and I did our homework – knowing what Courtesy had in stock, what the fair market value should be, what our trade in was worth and what our credit was like – Alan was invaluable in making sure we got the car we wanted at a fair price with an honest assessment of our trade in and a very respectable financing rate. My daughter and I hit the road, from San Francisco, to find a truck for her. Our last stop was going to be Courtesy Automotive Center. About mid way there we called. Brad offered to meet us half way. Who does that? I couldnt believe they would offer this service.Brad met us and we were able to test drive it. It was exactly what we were looking for so we drove to the dealership. When we arrived everyone in the office was very nice and genuine, especially Trey.We said we wanted it and the paperwork was started. We met Juan, Finance Manager who made the deal as painless as possible. He accommodated our requests and we were on our way back to San Francisco within an hour.In summary Trey, Brad and Juan are ROCK STARS!! Overall, this dealership could give lessons on how to treat a customer. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car!

I purchased a brand new GMC truck for $83,545 before taxes & fees. I qualified for the 0.9% financing. I told them I wanted absolutely nothing extra, no warranties, no GAP and damn sure not an extra theft protection service called Starguard for an extra $1000 especially when the vehicle already comes with OnStar from the factory. The little slimy weasels that they are, threw that in there without asking me or telling me that I was being charged for it. I only realized it when I called the bank to figure out why the math wasnt adding up on what I financed after my $2500 down payment. Thats when I realized they snuck that into the deal. I tried to cancel with the Starguard company, I deactivated it but they said you have to get your money back from the dealership. The GM wont call back, the finance turkey Eston, wont call back and the salesman just shifts the blame. What a joke. DO NOT BUY from these SCAM ARTISTS. If they would have just been honest they would have gained a customer, with an 800+ credit score and solid income that would return in the future for more vehicles, but instead they wanted to try and pad their pockets and gain a worse reputation. AVOID the salesman Brad Yergenson too, he will just ignore the problem until you go away. They also failed to give me the $500 GMC veterans discount. Typical sleaze ball car guys.

Went to get 2 estimates on a small 6 diameter paint bubbling on my exterior drivers door (2016 Buick Encore). First I verified my cars warranty (for paint) which is on line and in the paperwork, for 6 yrs or 100K miles.First stop was a highly rated body shop. The owner looked at the issue and said it had been caused by something under the original coating.Second stop was at Courtesy Motors where I bought the SUV new. I was outside the warranty by 7 months. My current mileage is at 20,500- under the warranty by almost 80K miles.The body shop woman suggested I speak to the warranty dept, to see what they could do. That meeting took place with a very young man who do not even know the paint is covered. He said paint is never covered, and even if it was covered under the 3 yr or 36K miles, that all is expired, but paint isnt covered.I then proceeded to tell him what the warranty stated regarding paint, and that my car- the 2016- actually had a 4 yr/48K bumper to bumper. And that was w/o buying additional coverage.So much for dealing with someone who is supposed to be the go-to on warranty knowledge.Walked back to the dealers body shop for my estimate- $1900.

I had a small fender bender in my Toyota Tacoma pick up on the front end. I took it to courtesy auto motors. They gave me an accurate estimate. They handled my claim very professionally, and their estimate on when the repairs would be completed, was very close to the original estimate. There was a little more damage they found once they got in to make the repair. However, they took care of it and made it look amazing. I am thoroughly happy with Amanda and her entire team in the collision and auto body shop department. Thank you very much!

June 8, 2022 I bought my amazing little BMW Z4. But my experience goes back to February when I was on the hunt for one. I dropped into my local BMW dealership and met Jeffrey Olivarri. He was kind enough to go over the car that I was looking for online and show me all the features. I went to Sacramento and test drove some used ones and came back to Jeffrey to order the car. The ordering process was PERFECT. We picked out exactly what I wanted and placed the order. Updates were given to me the whole 3 month wait and he even surprised me with a video of a used one they had gotten on their lot during my wait period. He was amazing! Had the car ready with a bow and all the day of pick up! I highly recommend him and this truly is the only way to buy a car!! So go see Jeffrey! He will treat you like royalty!!! Only good thing about that place is the friendly staff. Dealerships are priced WAY to high for just an oil change. I paid $94 to sit in their tiny awkward waiting room for over an hour while they did the oil change. They didnt even do complimentary vacuum or car wash. I can pay $60 for the same service plus wipe down and vacuum of my vehicle at JiffyLube and only wait 30 minutes! I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

They were not pushy at all and even got me a HUGE deal on my new car. I loved how personable everyone was and I just felt like I was hanging out with family. The absolute worst customer service in the auto industry. Called multiple times to get information on my vehicle I brought in for service, never got any phone calls back and when I did it was always a run around and never a straight answer. My vehicle is still in the shop after 4 months and still no straight answers given. I will never return to this dealership where I have previously taken my Mercedes, bmw, and Cadillac. Worse service and sales department across all brands they “represent”. I will gladly drive 2-3 hours down to Sacramento/Bay area to get my car serviced and will buy my next car down south as well. Much needed improvement across all sectors of the auto industry at Courtesy Automotive. Would give ZERO stars if possible! Stay away at all costs, don’t waste your time or money!!

Every time they fix something...this time 4 brand new tires...they always break something and say it was already broken. But this time I caught them in the lie because my brake light was flashing after they replaced tires and performed a 14 point inspection, but it wasnt flashing before they touched it. However service manager an a-hole. Last time I came in for a brake issue and they said I needed master and all 4 brake cylinders replaced so I went to another for a 2nd opinion and all I actually needed was passanger front line brake replaced. Im not sure if they are incompetent or what but I am done with them.

I just purchased a used vehicle from Courtesy. They are all that their name implies. Aaron, the salesman that helped us, was very pleasant and helpful. Never pushy. We were able to negotiate a fair price and I think probably a better deal than we could have found anywhere else. We looked at dealerships in Sacramento and beyond, but we were really glad to be able to buy local. I trust that the car they sold me is in excellent running condition, and I know that it looks great. The interior and exterior were spotlessly cleaned and detailed. And even though we were buying one of the least expensive vehicles on the lot, my feeling is that we were treated the same as someone purchasing a $40,000+ vehicle. The delicious gift basket that was delivered to me at work shortly after the purchase was a delightful bonus.

We took the car back the next day and exchanged it for another that suited us better. The exchange was done without any problem or question. Keith Anderson and Alan Ramos were great to deal with and patient with us beyond our expectations. Everyone we had dealings with were great. We were pleased to find that they have a 3day return policy and there was not the usual restocking fee that you find with many dealerships. Courtesy Motors lives up to their name. Purchased a car sight unseen from Chico earlier this year. The staff was friendly (although sometimes slow to get things done). Overall they were cooperative, and were reasonable and straightforward to deal with when it came to negotiation. My main gripe is that I was told the car was mint, and its flaws werent noticed by any of the staff until the car was sold and the transport company arrived to pick up the car. They pointed out some relatively minor damage (which chico worked with me on), but it was still frustrating to be unaware of the damage until after the car was sold.I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again, but I would have them look over the car with a fine-toothed comb before I bought another car sight unseen.

Five Stars. And Ive bought a lot of cars. Brad was a great salesperson. He recommended coming in early morning and we were able to test drive various cars with no hurry or pressure. I finally settled on a used Honda CR-V. Trade in and transaction was smooth. About a week later, I noticed a couple small issues. One was the cabin filter was dirty and I replaced it. No biggie. The other was the washer fluid reservoir would overflow while filling. I sent an email and promptly got a reply to bring it in. I set up an appointment and they fixed it. This was a USED car bought AS-IS. They were under NO obligation to do this. THATS customer service that will make me return to Courtesy Automotive. And, a week after I bought the vehicle a Massie Janes gift basket was delivered to my house from Courtesy. This dealership treated me right. Might just have to go look at a Forester. :)

We did extensive research before car shopping and we drove over 100 miles to Courtesy to look at one particular vehicle. Alan Ramos took us for a test drive and explained how all the bells and whistles worked. He then worked with us to bring the price of the vehicle within our reach, and with the assistance of Michael Berg, we were able to drive the vehicle home, without having to make a second trip. Excellent customer service by a knowledgeable, well trained staff, and well worth the drive. We are very happy with our new car.

I recently went to Courtesy Motors to test drive a vehicle I had seen on their website. I was thinking about getting a used vehicle to replace the unsafe clunker I was driving, and wanted to start getting a feel for the type of car I wanted. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted by Keith Anderson. Keith was FANTASTIC and super helpful. From the very beginning it was clear that Keith wanted to help me find a vehicle that was both practical as well as matched my lifestyle. I was concerned about financing due to some credit issues, but at no point did Keith allow me to believe that my credit would keep me out of a vehicle or make me feel uncomfortable about discussing my financial situation. He was patient and willing to explain the entire process of purchasing a vehicle, and after working with me for several hours was able to help me secure financing for the car I wanted. Keith and everyone else I encountered at Courtesy during the process of purchasing my vehicle were friendly, helpful, and did not make me feel pressured at all. When I arrived at the dealership, I didnt plan on leaving that day with a car. However, because of the quality and level of service I received, I now have a great car that I love to drive. They even made the process of selling my previous vehicle to them easy and stress-free. I just purchased on new GMC over the weekend. I have only lived here a short time, and had the need to take my previous car in for service. The service department was great. They were prompt, helpful, and delivered on their promise. Since the service department was such a great experience, I decided to purchase my next vehicle there as well. They delivered an awesome experience. The tag team of Alan and Brad, or as I like to call them - the Dynamic Duo were easy and helpful to work with. I LOVED the fact that they did not stalk me while I was looking, but yet both were available when it came to answering questions, not just about the vehicle, but also the financing and special deals going on. I recently took my Subaru in to Courtesy Automotive for some recall work (and a little extra). I am thoroughly impressed by the entire experience I had, from beginning to end. I worked with Andrew through the whole process; he was wonderfully communicative and receptive to all of my questions, and always carried himself with a level of authenticity that I can only *begin* to describe as an absolute breath of fresh air (and everyone else I dealt with was equally as courteous & candid!).Let me emphasize, as well, that never once did I feel like I was being spoken to in *a certain way* for the sake of the fact that Im a woman (I actually happen to be well-versed in the automotive realm, so... Today was a nightmare. I normally have NO problems with Courtesy for recall work. However, today REALLY takes the cake. I dropped my Subaru off at 12:30pm, 30 minutes before my appointment, to get some recall work done. They had initially on a phone call told me the work would take an hour and a half, but when I got there the time turned to 3 to 4 hours. Which fine! Fortunately I have family in town! I waited until and 4 and I called them only to find out, MY CAR HADNT EVEN BEEN LOOKED AT. Im sorry but when you tell a customer a service will take four hours and at 2, in my case, it still hadnt been looked at you SHOULS CALL and UPDATE.Thankfully I called them at 4 and was able to stop them from putting my car up despite their efforts to convince me to shuttle home 45 minutes and have my car delivered later. (I live 15 minutes out of the nearest town so not having my car is not an option.) I missed an exam today and almost missed a second because of the lack of communication. Im incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication Courtesy had today. If something takes a long time and you havent gotten to it YOU NEED to tell your customers.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our 2019 Subaru Outback with Victoria Lombard! She was able to work with our budget and get us more than what we initially were looking for. We drove to the dealership from Redding to get the vehicle and the paperwork was already set up for us to complete and the car was ready to go. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features that Subaru has to offer. She provided an overall great experience that was straight forward with no typical dealership tricks. Our dog also came with us to the dealership and was graciously welcomed! I called Courtesy at 11:50 and I was told that Andrew Tobin was with a customer, but he would call me back as soon as he was finished. At 1:20 when I went in to pick up my vehicle, I asked if he was still with a customer. Haref Topete told me that he was at lunch. Probably the most negative customer experience Ive ever had. I received a recall letter from Chevy in March and had the letter and the car in a week later. I was made to pay for an oil change to verify the issue, and then brought the car back in after 3,000 miles with all of the oil burned off, the exact issue detailed in the letter.After weeks and about a dozen phone calls, and after being passed on to the 3rd or 4th different person who was supposed to be helping me (many of whom had somehow quit by the time I started writing down names and asking for people specifically, and none of whom returned my calls), I finally spoke with a manager. Thats when, for the FIRST TIME, I was asked why I hadnt taken the car and the letter to a licensed dealership instead of Courtesy.For what its worth, I assumed they were a licensed dealership, and understand now that I was wrong. Thats my mistake, and I know the difference now, and Im embarrassed I made the mistake in the first place. But the FIRST time anyone mentioned this to me, after months of trying to have the issue resolved, was in SEPTEMBER. Of course, the recall letter expired in August.It should also be mentioned that this manager said they would be calling me back after they checked with Chevy. Shockingly, its three weeks later, and still no phone call.I want to give the benefit of the doubt rather than assuming I was intentionally given the run around - but even then, its not much of an endorsement to say that Courtesy was so incompetent and unresponsive that it took six months in order for someone to mention for the first time that they werent the correct location to bring a recall letter.The several people who looked at the letter (and charged me for an oil change I didnt need in order to start working on the issue for me) certainly didnt seem to understand that this was the wrong place to bring it, either. While many of the customer service representatives have been understanding and polite throughout this incredibly frustrating saga, the best case explanation for my experience is that Courtesys system for communicating with customers is inexcusably flawed. The worst case is that they knowingly avoided following up with me in order to run out the clock on the recall.Im extremely disappointed, with both this location and with Chevy. I wont be patronizing either of them ever again.

TLDR; Highly recommended, theyre professional and relaxed, with no pressure.Ive only ever financed two cars, both through Courtesy. The first time, the check engine light came on the day after I bought the car (ended up only being an O2 sensor) and they immediately offered to pick me up at school, take me to rent a replacement on their dime, fixed my car in one day, and drove me between the dealership and rental place. They took great care of me.Just recently, I went to look at some cars. Told Sean what I wanted and he showed me everything on the lot that fit the bill. We test drove two, and he never tried to upsell me. In fact, he recognized that I wasnt as interested in the second car and never mentioned it again. We spent about 2 hours with him on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday (his day off) and the whole time he was incredibly patient, affable, and funny. I bought a Mercedes this last week. Experience was fine. Cameron assisted me. Very low key but efficient guy, no problems and the process went rapidly and painlessly. He even went to the trouble while I was out securing the funds, despite having a sure sale and no more effort needed, to go through the vehicle and learn several side functions available with the car and point them out to me.One issue and I think its bigger than it sounds at first. The car had half a tank of gas. When I returned to drive it home it was still only half full. My wife had been wanting a Mercedes SUV for some time. She had a C230 for over 5 years and was wanting something bigger. We had shopped around online and found the perfect GL450 at Courtesy. We bought our car here for a relatively simple repair that should have taken no more than a day. So far, were at 11 days and counting. We have been given excuse after excuse and no one wishes to step up and fix my car. Weve filed complaints with the state. Were also contemplating lawsuits to recover lost revenue from my business.Update: We are now at 3 1/2 weeks. DisCourtesy Volvo ordered the wrong part 9 days ago. They re-ordered it last week. The staff at Courtesy able to accommodate our schedule and show us cars when it was convenient for us. We never felt pressured to buy today and were shown several options so that we were certain the car we choose was right for us. If I could give negative stars, I would. DO NOT buy a car from here. Absolute WORST customer service! I have a 2015 Mercedes C300 with 50,000 miles on it. It has been in the shop broke down 9 times in one year. I have had to involve the Better Business Bureau twice to get them to work on my car. Here is what has happened since. Mr. Jerry Pajouh, the owner of the dealership, was supposed to be at a meeting with my fiance and me yesterday. The meeting was scheduled by his employees. He was not there, and he has not called me or my fiance back. Mr. Mike Mumford and Mr. Jerry Pajouh allowed their service advisor to call me, while I was at work, to bring the loaner I was using back to them. The service department wanted me to drive my car, with broken pistons in it, 80 miles to and from work each day in order for them to have their loaner back. Mr. Mumford acknowledge that this occurred and simply said he was sorry about that. I am livid at this company for their lack of customer service, NOT strictly because of their lack of help with the Lemon Law process.

I arrived early got scheduled Oil Change only.When filling our the paperwork he asked if we were doing tire rotation also, I said just the oil change today. I stated I needed a ride since it usually is an hour or so. I waited in the lounge at after30 minutes I went back to ask when the driver will be here, he said he doesn’t know where he is he’s not answering his phone. I went back to the lounge. Later he came to tell me the car is almost ready. He came back 10-15 minutes later to say car is ready. Then at check out he charged me for the tire rotation and had to take that off.I’m not sure if he actually ever called the shuttle driver…. Glad the car was done in less than an hour but disappointed I had to sit and wait and was not listened to.

I generally do not write reviews, but my last experience was not great, especially if you need something from them. I had a paint issue that I contacted General motors about. My truck is an 2006 so i really wasnt looking for much. The rep stated there may be a discount assistance here in CA. I took my truck in and got the determination of the issue. later GM stated the dealer stated it was caused by the owner. that was the end of it. This is where my complaint is. I went into speak to Gary the warranty manager stating i get that nothing would be done with the paint even though it was a manufactures defect in product, but would just like a copy of the notes from the case. I showed him the messages from the GM contact, and he took the case number, but stated he was unable to look it up currently. Gary stated that he would ask another manager who wasnt there currently to do it and he would call me when it was done. After two weeks of no call back I called, but Gary was not available. I was referred to another manager Mike (problem). I explaining what had transpired, he stated that if it was over a year old there was nothing they would do. Mike then asked me what year this was, I told him it was a 2006. Apparently this info was quite shocking to hear. His response was quote A 2006, I cant believe you are even calling about this, that is ridiculous. There is no way there would be anything for something that old. Mike then asked who told me to there was anything for that old of a truck. I explained that t was a rep from GM that said there might be a discount of services to repair the paint. He again was shocked that someone would even suggest that and couldnt believe they told me that. Then mike stated just for the hell of it give me the claim number and I will look it up (all of this conversation had occured with him not even knowing if there was any actual information on this case number) . Mike stated that he had entered the case number and stated that there wasnt any info and he couldnt even find the case. I told him that was fine, I was just trying to follow up on on the conversation I had with Gary and GM, and then ended the conversation I had with him . I may not be important there to them, and was treated with complete disrespect. I have purchased 4 vehicles there and have been servicing my truck there since 2007. I dont want to give them any more business at this point.

This place is not “Courtesy” NOT BMW standard service!!! I have been at multiple BMW service locations. You wait in a little hall close to service entrance until you are called into very tiny unorganized and well used cubicle type area to talk to “service consultant” then the normal gathering of information but they NEVER give you a REAL estimate of time for your service or REPAIR. When asking it’s always a two to two and a half hour time frame. Also, they send reminders for your appointment but they say “the appointment is with your service advisor, not when the the work will begin on your vehicle “....Give me a break, we’re here to get our vehicle serviced or repaired, and we made an appointment, we shouldn’t have to sit for two hours for you to START our service or repair. You can’t get a loaner unless your service is more than three hours long. You are offered a shuttle to take you somewhere in town but we’ve been forgotten twice at this location to even get off their lot. This is the closest service center near to our home an hour and a half away. They are apathetic in their mannerisms. Tried to waste time looking at new cars on their lot but their choices are very limited. Waiting area is very small, and is also a walk through area for the parts and access to two small show rooms. Even before Covid their options were bare but now even more so. Just SO disappointed in this location and not want to deal with BMW in the future since this is closest to my home. Also, during the two and a half hours so far sitting in their waiting room, I have watched their staff come and 1/2 spray a small coffee table in the middle of the room, that NO ONE has touched, three times. That’s the extent of their Covid cleaning. NOT a good service oriented location as it does not feel courteous as their name would suggest!

I went in knowing which vehicle I wanted, and the sales associate was helpful, informative, and nice. When I got to the point of signing papers, the employee helping me would not stop trying to sell me extra add-ons and warranties I did not want. I had to tell him multiple (at least five) times and he still pushed it after we signed the papers that said I did not want anything. He then said something like Im really surprised you didnt want to protect your investment. His pushiness made me uncomfortable and left a bad taste in my mouth. I Brought my brand new GMC Yukon (2021 bought December 6th) in to have a recall addressed. After meeting with the service advisor (Eric Heidemeyer) I asked if they would also wash my vehicle when they were finished. Eric was very professional and kind. I have no issues there. After waiting most of the day I finally got my vehicle back. I had to retrieve it parked very tightly between cars - not at all happy about that. My vehicle looked clean from what I could see of it and I left. I had an errand to do after I left. As I was walking back up to my truck I noticed tiny little bumps on the drivers side. I ran my hand along the paint and it was definitely something. I continue looking down the side of the truck and to my absolute horror I see at scratch about 5 long. A WHITE SCRATCH IN MY BRAND NEW TRUCK!! I immediately called Eric and he was kind and said to bring my vehicle back. I was meet outside by Eric and a manager (I think). Manager didnt address me at all...just asked if my truck was dirty when I brought it in - WHAT? I show Eric the issues. He immediately agrees and calls the person in charge of detailing. I am told he will try and buff the scratch out. I proceed back to my waiting spot until the work has been done. This is a black vehicle so depending on the sun/shade it does make things a little more difficult to see. Long story short - the bubbles/raised overspray of some sort are still there and the scratch is noticeable (to me). I spent close to 80K on my vehicle and have absolutely NO CONFIDENCE in ever bringing myself or it back to Chico GMC. I am soo very disappointed.

We had an older GMC Yukon and wanted to size down with a newer used car. We went to the dealership intending to test drive an Acadia, however when the selection was limited Alan suggested test driving a Cadillac SRX. I went in to have GM tire sensor valves installed on 7/14/2020. After your employees informed me the valves didn’t fit I retuned to pick them up. An AMAZING experience!!I came into the dealership just to look at their Jeep Compass, I also had plans to go to another dealership and test drive an RAV 4. My main goal was something with more power, obviously newer than my car, with a lot less miles on it. I had no intention of purchasing for at least another month or so. I definitely had no intention of purchasing a BMW anything, but then Chris Phelps at Courtesy Motors listened to what I wanted and what I already had and brought up their 2011 BMW 328i. I said NO right off the bat, I wanted nothing BMW!! Then I test drove the car and looked at the reviews of the vehicle. The BMW was exactly what I wanted with even all wheel drive! It was smooth, quiet on the inside, and gorgeous. It had 23,000 vs my 210,000 miles, 3L vs. my 1.7L, and was 7 yrs newer. Chris was patient with me and answered all my questions, and I had MANY!! Needless to say, my experience with Chris and Jordan was out of this world awesome! They listen to what you want and answer all questions. I went and did my own investigation to find out truth. And then i was in a accident less then 2 months later and this was on july 4th and im still waiting after several times to be reimbursed for my additional ccoverage i paid for that i couldnt use since car was totaled and every month. I keep hearing a new excuse of why i havent got my check yet or eycetc. That place will scam you and this is riduculous trying to get back a check 6 months and counting still. I am posting this review to really show how pleased for the great service I received at this dealership. I worked with Cedric Lafaix, he was very helpful and most importantly showed a great deal of patience. I wasnt to sure on exactly what I wanted when I first came to the dealership. Cedric started to ask me about my lifestyle and what I do with my car and the qualities in a car that are important to me. From there he discovered just what car would fit me best. Once he showed me the BMW 335is and explained to me the benefits of this car and why it is right for me I felt very comfortable with my decision. He was not aggressive and instead was very polite and made me feel welcome by asking if I needed anything to drink due to how hot it was outside. I purchased my Acadia here 2 years ago. It now has 80,000 miles and I’ve had to fix a lot. I possibly need a new transmission now and found out that my $3,000 warranty doesn’t cover anything. I was quoted $6,700 to replace a transmission that costs $2,000. Disappointed that the quotes for repairs are so over priced even though I purchased the car here. Terrible feeling of being taken advantage of over and over. From purchasing the car which has a history of transmission problems, purchasing the worst warranty, to offering to fix part of the problem for $2,700.

I took my car here after hitting a deer I needed a new bumper and my door to be buffed out because of some scratches not only did it take them a month and two weeks to replace my bumper, but they never buffed out the scratches and on top of that they broke the paddle shifter for my car and never took responsibility for it and once I asked to speak to a higher up, they told me that he wasn’t available he wasn’t there to come back next week. I can’t even use the paddle shifter for my car because they broke it so on top of not doing their job they also messed up my car even more terrible. And on top of that, I left my rental with them for enterprise to come pick up. I called enterprise and told him I left it with courtesy so I did everything I was supposed to do they never called enterprise to have it come and picked up and then on top of that they lost one of the keys For my rental You guys are supposed to be a professional place of business.

I purchased a new 2018 GMC Canyon last year and had it in for its second oil change on January 22nd, after driving my vehicle home I noticed an abnormal noise during slow down and take off, like a squeaky belt. I then had my vehicle back into the shop and was told they had spilled oil all over the engine during the routine oil change and would need to replace some parts. I have since had my truck in six times and had multiple parts replaced but the issue remains. Went in a few weeks back and spoke to the salesman about a truck on the lot. He brought a truck around that they had taken in a few days prior. It was exactly what I was looking for and wanted. I was excited and extremely thrilled. Went through all the paperwork, had mentioned I had a payoff on my vehicle, told the salesman and everything. They come back with some numbers and such and everything came out perfectly and where I wanted to be. Now I guess I shouldve been a little more inquisitive prior. So we agreed and went on with all the prep and such. I made many more remarks about how Im happy, how my payment is going to stay the same and how its awesome they made the numbers work and other things clearly making it obvious I have a balance owed on my car. Come to finance and signing paperwork, I get asked when I can bring in my pink slip. WHAT?! I am confused and say I have a balance on my car still. Well apparently after me talking to everyone and telling the salesman multiple timesy payoff and I was financed through so and so... He failed to translate that to the loan manager who then ran all the numbers as if I owned the car outright. So needless to say, my payment was going to skyrocket over what it was and so on. Bottom line. Always triple check and stay on top of your salesman and dont trust them to do there job correctly. I walked out and will never be back.

*****READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP*****I wish there was a ZERO star option. I had heard many bad things about this dealership but I wanted to form my own opinion. Not many choices here in town and I think the large dealerships here prey on the locals because of this. There is not much competition. This review has been a long time coming because I wanted to give the dealership the benefit of the doubt.We purchased a 2008 BMW X5 from the dealership back in July of 2015. The vehicle was the personal vehicle of the new owners wife. The new owner is Jerry She had it on a lease then she purchased it post lease and then we bought it. So it was a 1 owner car. The sales staff told us it had not been listed for sale yet so it had not been cleaned up or inspected. We were going on a cruise and we needed to make a deal quickly so we made the deal before we left and they let us drive our trade until the car was cleaned and serviced. We overpaid $23,000 for the car plus another $3500 for a warranty. We returned from the trip turned in the trade and picked up the BMW. There were a few things we didnt see pre-purchase that we pointed out, all cosmetic, that Ron Floriani (thew new service manager who is the only shining star at this dealership) fixed with no charge. Rear window shade, glove box door, door ding, A/C vent, etc. We even go a loaner while these things were being fixed. All-in-all...service department was amazing. I must give them that.After that, everything went downhill. The alternator died 8 weeks after we picked it up. $1,400 to fix it. The $3,500 warranty did not cover it.....they said we needed the full coverage warranty that would have cost us another $3000 and only for 24 months 24,000 miles which wasnt a lot. Ron waived the labor cost and we only paid $900 for the fix. Remember this is the owners Diane & Jerry Pajouhs old car. They didnt step in and make this right. Over the next few months, a few more things came to light.... We were told the brakes had recently been changed but they had not. So we had to do a brake job which was about $800. Then the rear air shocks were leaking which was another $1,200. The cost hit over $3,600 in just repairs. Ron stepped in again and suggested we get a refund for our warranty which still covered nothing. Took 5 months to get the money back and we lost about $1,000 on that getting back a little over $2,000.We had all kinds of mistakes made with our DMV paperwork and the title department was very bad and never returned our calls. As well, the finance department lost the refund paperwork several times dragging it out 4-5 months to get the refund for the worthless warranty.We were finally fed up with the expenses. We realize that we made a bad deal. We wanted to give Jerry and Courtesy a second chance to make it right so we offered to buy TWO MORE cars from the dealership if they bought this one back from us for a fair value. We paid $23,000 they offered $13,000. Yes...thats a $1,000 per month depreciation on a car they sold us, that was the owners car that was in mint condition with no mechanical issues. We still owed $19.500 on the loan and could not afford to eat all the negative equity. KBB on the car was over $18900. We asked for $17,500 and Jerry offered to meet with us to work it out but was a no show. We went to Niello Sacramento and Chico Nissan and purchased $45,000 Genesis and a $35,000 Volvo XC60. They both gave us fair trade values for our trades and the best prices for our new purchases along with useful warranties.There are more new examples of this dealerships bad business practices. Do your research.

I took my car in, assuming this great bumper to bumper warranty would cover my mechanical breakdown, and it did not. The Service Writer at Chico Nissan was surprised when my claim was denied and even called the Finance manager at Courtesy to ask if this was truly the warranty I bought,. After further investigation I have found this is apparently a regular occurrence at their property. Not too hard to believe if you take a look at their chaotic unorganized mess. Where do I even start...This was my 60k mike service & the first time I had been back to Courtesy Motors since a horrific experience during my 50k service a few months ago when a mechanic there dropped a piece of his tool into my engines cylinder (during a spark plug replacement due to a recall). He then started my car destroying part of my engine and my car was there for three weeks while they tried to repair it. A service advisor there was extremely rude to me when I came back to take pictures of my torn apart engine after I discovered what had happened. I never even gave them permission to take my engine apart or do any repairs, and at the time if given the opportunity (which I should have been legally entitled to) I certainly would have taken it elsewhere given my lack of faith in their mechanics given the great error they had already made. I had to get the CA State Bureau of Automotive Repairs involved because I was given no answers, because they tried to cover their tracks and what they had done to my car, and because they wouldn’t even offer a warranty on the work they performed.So after over three weeks of not having my car, and the Auto Bureau assisting me to finally get a 100k mike warranty on the repairs they performed (even though I still believe my car was devalued in the process), I thought all of this was behind me (although in all honesty my car has not felt or driven the same since!) I decided to give them another chance because mistakes do happen & they are the only Volvo dealer within 200 Miles of me.I took my car there only to discover that during that infamous 50k service they should have told me that I needed new brake pads. However their destruction of my engine apparently overshadowed this & they said nothing. So I drove my car since then totally unaware that my brakes were so bad that my rotors were now destroyed. They didn’t even offer to pay for this error & I was charged for their mistake. I am in shock that a company known for safety would yet again make this huge of an oversight. I have loved my Volvo XC60 until this sequence of events, but now have to question how a company such as Volvo could possibly let these bumbling idiots work on or sell their cars!! I thought I would drive Volvo’s for the rest of my life but now question the integrity of the brand as a whole. I would like to see Courtesy Motors in Chico banned from destroying more cars in the future. I saved for a while to get what I thought would be my dream car, a car that would keep me safe, but with Courtesy working on it, I no longer have any faith in my car or the brand. In 2008 or so I took my Mothers 2001 Volvo V70 XC in to have a service and KC, the service manager front man said that the car was is in good shape but should have the radiator overflow reservoir replaced for over $700. Fast forward to fall 2015 some 7 years later and the reservoir is STILL working GREAT and does not leak. We even had the radiator replaced by another mechanic this summer and he did not find any fault with the radiator overflow. I did tighten up a small hose-clamp back in 2008 but it never had a leak.So bottom line is Courtesy Motors hires men to run their service department that lack integrity and honesty and they tried to steal more than $700 from me. I call that theft.Fast forward to the current situation. in the last month The car stopped running so we had it towed to Courtesy motors. They estimated that the repair bill would be $1500 or $2300 if the first fix did not work. Seeing that James Thomas Volvo is the only other option in the area and we can not take it to him either because he is an extremely incompetent mechanic and his helper is likewise rude and incompetent that leaves parts off of the car almost every-time he works on it we have no other choice but Courtesy Motors service department.So we had the first repair done and it ended up costing over $1600 instead of $1500 and then a couple weeks later it started to run poorly again and we took it in and they charged us another several hundred dollars for a total of over $2300. We drove away within a few days the car started running rough again. We had to take it to them again and they kept it for a week and a half and then they finally determined that they had to replace the same part they had replaced before (called a throttle body.)We picked the car up yesterday and it still runs rough. We called KC and he said that it might be a vacuum line so we will take it in again tomorrow morning and hopefully they will repair the problem finally! Ill do an update soon and hopefully I will have something positive to say about courtesy Motors service department.

This is the second bad service experience I have had here with my Mercedes Benz at Courtesy Motors. The first time I brought my car in for a service only to get home (I live in Redding) and have the service department call me and tell me I need to bring it back and have them put a part in that wasnt ordered I was annoyed, and rightfully so- the appointment was made a week in advance. They gave me a loaner car and said a driver would return my car to my house after the work was completed, to make up for the inconvenience. But the delivery driver was an older lady who could only get to the casino in Redding...about 30 minutes from my house. She called last minute and I had to run out and meet her there. On my last visit I had my windshield replaced. My car was returned to me with a dirty dash and smudged up windshield. The drivers side floor mat was dirty. Yeah, not a big deal in the grand scheme...but come on you are a Mercedes dealership, show some professionalism and pride in what you do.

We had to speak to the service manager in the end, he was nice.Also found out they put more than a hundred miles on my car while it was in the shop.We wont go back. Save yourself the missy and go an extra hour and a half, to the Sacramento dealership. They know how to treat people!

Courtesy Motors in Chico has always been our car dealership to go to. Valentines Day, I ordered a new key for our X3 we bought from Cedric. The parts department have always been great. We were there just to get the new key! Asked if Cedric was there to say hello and let him know we still love our X3. Cedric was out so while we were looking at this beautiful black exterior BMW, Mike offered to take us for a test drive. It was love at the first touch of the button to put the hard top down and wind blowing in our hair! We got back to Courtesy Motors and Cedric was back. It was like seeing an old friend. We talked numbers, which was a piece of cake, no shuffling you around to others Closers! Cedric is number one in our book! Paid for a new key and ended up buying that beautiful black hard top convertible, we look so good in it! We recently purchased a Subaru Legacy from Chico Curtesy Motors. I knew exactly what I wanted and approximately how much I had to spend. I called inquiring about the vehicle and they held the car, on Black Friday no less, so I could drive 2.5 hours from home to look at it. When we arrived, the car was ready to be driven. The staff was friendly, helpful, and never pushy. The vehicle was very well cared for, had carfax available for review, and they stand by their vehicles. I wish we could say we had a good experience like all the other reviews, but it was the worst service we have ever received anywhere. We made the appointment for our 20,000 mile service, we were told it takes approximately 2 hours. We live over an hour away so i planned for a 2 to 2 1/2 hr wait. It actually took 5 1/2 hours, then they came to bring us our car and it was the wrong car! We had to wait almost another 20 min. I really hope they did the service well at least. I’ve never had such bad service when dealing with Mercedes, usually quite the opposite which is why we have two. I will never again go here. I will make the extra drive to Rocklin Mercedes.

Every single time I’ve taken in my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek to get serviced something is amiss. The first time there was grease on my seat. The second time we had to call the service center repeatedly to find out when the scheduled maintenance would be complete. The third time we received someone else’s invoice. This time my car is making a weird chirping sound when I turn the engine and an odd sound when I turn on the AC. I’ve called to address the issue but the soonest they can get me in is Thursday morning even though the shotty service job was done on Friday, which was same day we called to report the issue. On Friday we were told someone would call early Monday. No call. I am now told someone “should” call me by 2 p.m. today, Monday. I highly doubt it.

I recently bought a car from Courtesy Automotive and when I got it home I noticed the front bumper had come away from the car leaving a gap where it should have been a tight seam. I was worried because I had driven the car off the lot and thought theres nothing that can be done at this point.I called the dealership and made several trips down to discuss the possible repair of the car. I spoke with Sonny Baird who assured me I had nothing to worry about and the car would be repaired AT NO COST to me. He referred me to the Collision dept and I spoke with Samantha Kendrick and Noe Alvarez. Samantha and Noe were very nice and understanding since I purchased the car for my granddaughter and was worried about the situation. Great car buying experience when I bought it a Rear parking sensor went out and they replaced it for me. Only thing I didn’t like is I called them today and ask what they would charge to add a second key for me told them I already purchased online and told me they won’t even do it since I didn’t purchase it with them and against there policy. I can see that with other parts like brakes parts, engine parts etc .Come on a key I was just trying to give them more business.

Wayne from Subaru blew me away with his knowledge and excitement let alone he was the funniest guy I have ever met... I never laughed so hard in my life! We corresponded with Alicia Mann before ever walking on to the dealership thru the Costco Auto program. Armed with price information from dealerships in Sacramento, Alicia was very easy and honest to work with. No pressure to make an instant decision. We basically did the deal via e-mail and only went onto the lot to do a final test drive of the vehicle and sign the papers. The price we settled on was very fair - do much so that the Financing Manager did not want to honor the deal. He was not happy throughout our signing process. We got the car we wanted at the price we wanted and Alicia was very helpful.

We bought our 2014 Jeep in January of 2018 ( our family had bought 3 cars there in less than 6 months).When we signed the contract there we two issues apparent that would be fixed ( gas door and touch up paint)We made an appointment to have the issues fixed and they fixed the gas door and told us they didn’t have the paint but would order it and call us to reschedule.Three months later we called to check on the paint and they told us it was never ordered but that they would now order it and give us a call.Within the first 2 months of owning the car while we were waiting to be called about the paint the dashboard leather bubbled up and the vent on the dashboard lifted up and became unattached.Again we were not called when the paint came in so after about 6 months we called and they said they had the paint and we rescheduled an appointment.Because of the dashboard issues we asked the service department about the dashboard and they sent us to sales management to talk about making it right. We spoke with BILL MAGNOTTA and he said he would look into it and give us a call.After a couple of months we went in to check up the status as BILL MAGNOTTA never returned our callsAt this point we walked in his office, he never even stood up out of his chair to shake our hand or be professional and told us maybe we should go to the Jeep dealership and ask about the dashboard and see if it was on a Jeep warranty. We did as he asked and again returned to his office to let him know and he said he would send someone out to look at it from service. BILL MAGOTTA never followed through on this and when we asked he was rude and unprofessional made some excuse about not being able to get a hold of us. He had never tried.During all this time we had still not received our tags for the Jeep. We were still driving with the courtesy placard covering the license plate. When we questioned him at the same time (about 8 months now into owning our car) he blamed us and said they did their part and he didn’t know why they weren’t there.When we followed up on this ( not with BILL MAGNOTTA) it was discovered that Courtesy never followed through on the proper paperwork as the Jeep was previously out of state (at least that is what we were told although it had California plates on it so clearly that was not accurate ).After a year after buying our Jeep we finally received our tags.After dealing with BILL MAGNOTTA and being ignored and treated horribly another sales manger said to make an appointment and have their service team assess the dash situation. BILL MAGNOTTA had never offered that.Within a day we got a call from TC in service saying he had called over the sales people and taken pictures and that Courtesy Motors was going to fix the dashboard. He then stated they were going to order the parts and give us a callAfter a month of not hearing anything we made several calls to try and get TC to speak with us. When he did he said he would check on the progress of this .He called us back and said the sales a manger had cancelled the order on the dashboard and they had no intention of fixing the dashboard now. We never received a call to give us how or why it had changed or given any recognition that they had previously promised to fix the dashboard.Previous to speaking with TC about the dashboard Hailey in customer service had called us to see how our experience had been. We filled her in and said that TC had worked to make it right. We then got a call from Brad Yergensen (our original salesman) saying the owner called him and wanted him to call us a make it right and wanted Brad to be our point of contact.Now we can hardly get anyone to return a call or text and are being completely avoided.Brad stated that Courtesy will not be honoring their word and if I had complaints to talk to his manager BILL MAGNOTTA. Clearly BILL MAGNOTTA is the not following through and it would seem this is because the complaints are with him. This is the danger in having an unethical person in a management position.

Im not exactly sure what I should say here...so Ill just tell my story. I am a senior and need, really needed to do something about my aging Windstar. Either I needed to spend a lot of money getting it to the point of safety or...I choose to look into leasing a new car and trying to stay within some reasonable budget. I also (as did my son) want me to drive an auto that had a lot of safety features. I checked Consumer Reports and found 3 I was interested in...a Forester or Outback, a Mazda 5 since my son has just purchased one in TX and of course a Honda CRV. Went to Courtesy Motors first who are close to home and talked with a really nice, easy going salesman named Tony. We talked; I drove a couple of vehicles, liked what I drove and left. The next dealer was the Mazda; drove a couple of vehicles, liked what I drove but then the salesperson and the sales manager came and tried to put a lot of pressure on me to right then and there make a deal. The SM was in fact obnoxious and my son, who really wanted me to buy/lease the same auto he loved, said no way I dont like the way you are treating my mother...and away we went. So on to the Honda dealer in town..drove a couple of vehicles, liked them just fine, had the bells and whistles I wanted and then we got down to the what will it take to get this auto at a price I can afford. Oh my - again it was not the salesperson that broke the deal but the finance guy who never even came out to speak to me but asked for an outrageous amount of money down on a lease. Again we picked up and left. Later I got a call saying they would consider the deal and so come Monday morning I was going to go back in and do it. By then my son had left to go back home. I wasnt trilled but I knew I had to do something and so I called the Honda dealer/saleman and made an appointment for 1:00 p.m. ...but before just driving there I just had to take another look at the Forester and connect with Tony since we had never really gone over any numbers. Thankfully he was working and we sat down and went over the cars features which had everything and more that I felt I wanted (primarily safety features) .. Then we got into the nity grity. Went thru the numbers and then he turned me over to finance a really nice gal (Jordan) again a low key knowledgeable person, to see if we could make the deal I needed. She, Tony & I worked thru it and...END OF STORY. I am in love again - with a great car and hopefully will be able to (I know I will) have a long lasting friendship with Courtesy Motors

Looking for & buying a CPO from Courtesy Motors has put the fun back in to buying a new car. This week we went into Courtesy Mtrs. to check out a CPO Mercedes Benz. Upon arrival we were met with Ron Truax who was new to the business & he immediately introduced us to John Willis who possessed vast experience & between the two of them we were shown & test drove two vehicles that held our attention. Both John & Ron went above & beyond to insure that we were pointed in the right direction & completely satisfied. John is so knowledgeable that there is virtually no question concerning the purchase and driving of a Mercedes that he does not know the answer to.During the entire process we felt that we were part of the Courtesy family. We finally chose a beautiful E350 and from that point we were definitely family. John & Ron together introduced us to Sonny Baird, Manager, John Bishop, Service & finally Scott, Financial Consultant who happily took our check for the purchase.It was necessary to put some finishing touches on the car so we scheduled delivery later in the week. On arrival we met with Mike Knafla who very thoroughly explained the entire working of our new Mercedes. Beyond a doubt Mike has more knowledge & patience in explaining the total working package. After approx. 2 hours Mike concluded & we were free to return home. Another plus for Mike is that the following day he phoned our home to see of we had any questions remaining & further requested we call him if any arose.My advice is, if you are looking for a new or used car go to Courtesy Motors, Chico. Number 1 you will be treated like family, you will not be pressured & you will go home very satisfied.

Dont go here if you need repairs they completely messed up my car after getting an airbag recall replaced andand then decided to do an oilchange during that time. They kept my car the entire weekend after they said it would be done on that friday. They didnt change my service mileage. Finally got my car back on monday afternoon. They did bring it to my work, but oil gauge stopped working and oil light comes on now at start.Never had a problem before this service. I took it back and they said it was a voltage issue there was nothing wrong with the car. So I chaulked it up to not driving it very much. So I have now been driving it for about 2 weeks and same issue. They ignore my calls and never call me back. Horrible Horrible..

An opportunity for training with the ladies that schedule appointments....... - I scheduled my truck for service through MyGMC app. Got a confirmation that my SUBARU was going to be serviced (I have a GMC 2500HD). Then got confirmation that my GMC would be serviced and I was dropping off (I said Id be waiting). Called to correct all of the information - they said they would fix it - they didnt. Called again - they said they would fix it. Then received 4 texts and 4 emails a day about my GMC and SUBARU. When I got to the dealership - I had two appointments. Scheduling was a MESS. Service was GREAT!
