Chris and the team at Pacific Trust Mortgage were instrumental in helping us purchase our home in north county.We were initially working with a large national lender, everything was going fine, until it wasnt. Chris came to the rescue and gave us total peace of mind as we applied with Pacific Trust and started our process over again. Him and his team worked quickly right through the holiday season to get our application to where it needed to be.From start to finish everything with Pacific Trust Mortgage was better vs. what we experienced with the other lender. We got a better rate, better service, more confidence, and more guidance.The online portal and document upload were all easy and super straight forward. The team at Pacific Trust Mortgage is among the most competent and trustworthy companies we have ever had the pleasure to work with. As a first time homebuyer we were a little overwhelmed despite having researched the home buying process extensively. After having a falling out with our first loan officer we scrambled to find another in a short time frame. After perusing google reviews, Sarah Atkinson and her team came in and saved the day. From the onset she was honest and upfront about the process. There were no surprise fees after the first estimate and they worked diligently to make sure everything was accurate. On top of that we managed to close 2 days earlier which was a relief for the sellers and us. They have earned our business for life. Highly recommended for all your loan needs!

I worked with Darryl Stolz to get a mortgage from Pacific Trust Mortgage to purchase a home in San Luis Obispo North county area. He was easy to work with and communicate with during the entire process and has a great deal of knowledge and experience. From the approval process to underwriting everything went smoothly. All the paperwork for the mortgage was ready for the escrow signing and there were no surprises. Also, I was looking for a home over many months and considered several homes while interest rates kept changing. While I was looking at homes, Darryl was great on getting estimates back to me on the homes I was considering buying to give me an idea about what the monthly payments would be at different levels of down-payments and points. I would definitely work with Darryl again on a re-finance or a purchase, it was a great experience!

We have bought 2 houses with Chris and also refinanced several times, he contacts us whenever it is time to get a better deal. When we were buying our current house we made a financial mistake and if it werent for Chris and his knowledge and connections in the industry the whole deal would have fallen through and we would have lost the house we really wanted to buy. He totally saved the day (and the house!).I cant think of one time he has not been on the other end of phone or email instantly - he is super responsive as are the whole team.Hes a good man and has a great team. You won’t find a better broker than Chris Orsini. He and his team are very responsive and professional. He got our loan approved, even with the challenges of a self-employed jumbo loan.What really stood out to us though, was months later, when he called to suggest we refinance. The limit for conforming loans had just increased, meaning we could refinance our current jumbo loan into a conforming loan at a much better interest rate. We wouldn’t have known if he hadn’t called, and now my wife and I are saving hundreds of dollars each month for the next 30 years! Every time we pay the mortgage, we are grateful to Chris.

Michelle is great loan officer to work with. She is very knowledgeable and is on top of her deals. Communication is key with her and you can always appreciate that especially now a days.She goes over and beyond for her clients and she continues to have her clients come back to her as well as being sent referrals. That right there speaks volumes. I know that I refer my clients to her. She is also bilingual which makes it easy for clients to have someone there to speak to them in their preferred language.Michelle is highly recommended

David Wilson is THE BEST. I have worked with him on two transactions now and couldnt be happier. He is an excellent advocate and works hard on behalf of his clients. My recent home purchase became very complicated due to some confusion on the sellers part, and it is a small miracle that it even went through. My real estate broker recommended working with a local lender. My first experience buying a home was with a large, national bank and I always felt like my business wasnt important to them. My experience with Chris Orsini was the exact opposite. He always responded to me immediately and patiently answered all of my questions (which were a lot!). Now that escrow has closed and I know Im not jinxing myself, I must say that this was the easiest home-buying process Ive experienced. Even after being told that the closing costs could be a bit higher with a local lender, I was extremely pleased to find out that the closing costs were not only lower than expected; they were lower than the big-bank purchase, several years ago, for a much lower-priced property!

As a first-time homebuyer, I am very glad I worked with Chris Orsini at PTM to set up my mortgage. Chris made himself available literally any time I had a question, and he went out of his way to answer all my questions carefully and clearly. Buying a home is like having a second job for a couple months. There is SOOO much paperwork and details to make sure things go smoothly.
