One atop shop for just about anything you can imagine. They have power tools they have barbecues they have plumbing electrical paint housewares yeti garden supplies I mean its like they have everything. The employees are very helpful, they are always willing to stop what theyre doing and make sure that you can find what you need. And, most of the time when I go in there theres somebody serving a bag of free freshly popped popcorn. I love popcorn, who doesnt love popcorn? This is one of the top Ace hardware stores that I have ever been to and that includes comparing it to the one in Truckee which is also a great Ace hardware.

Only wish that they had stores big enough that where Lowe’s and Home Depot would leave these guys carry quality products. Have incredible service the guys actually pros and know what they’re doing. People are incredible have helped me out of a couple bines so I really think this store and the one in Fairfield is the best hardware store in our whole area if Pacific hardware doesn’t have it they probably don’t make it

I went here looking for some flex tape to patch a pinhole in an air mattress.Its very refreshing to know that this location is family-owned and run. Many of the associates have worked there for decades. I absolutely love this it takes a strong company to keep employees working for multiple decades.The young man who helped me was very kind and courteous walked me to exactly where the tape was and ensured I was good to go.I am a fan of the location and it takes alot to bump Home Depot out of my first choice I am super picky and a die hard Depot fan till the day I walked into Ace. Thank you Pacific Ace Hardware of Vacaville for showing me there is still customer first and quality to be had.

The angels sang when I walked into this store. I was surrounded by bbq smokers, bbq sauces and equipment. Ive never seen such a serious selection outside of the Midwest. But thats not all. Every aisle, every department has a plethora of choices. This is the king of all the Ace Hardware stores!

A fixture in downtown Vacaville. Every time I let my dog lead the way on a walk, they go straight to Pacific Hardware because they welcome dogs and they even have treats for them behind the counter. Very helpful employees and great selection.

It’s a damn shame workers here profile. I work in retail so I know exactly what he was doing. As I was looking for batteries I looked at him and he didn’t say anything. He just stops near me and ask everyone they’re doing ok that walked by him. Not once he ask me if I’m ok or needed help. He just stood there until I walked to the cashier. If my girlfriend didn’t need these batteries, I would have walked out. I’ve never had an issue here but this will be the last time I come here. Made me feel real uncomfortable!!!

It was an amazing experience! Shout out to Owen & Joelle. Owen helped me find a new smoke detector & drill bit set and he was friendly, polite and most importantly, he was knowledgeable. Joelle rang me up and got me signed up for the rewards program. That went super smooth. The staff were friendly. Another thing that stood out was there were employees waiting at the 3 or 4 aisles waiting to help customers. You dont see that at the big box stores. They usually try to avoid you! Not at Ace! They also had delicious popcorn. Is it a bit more pricey than other hardware stores? Sure, but the experience and customer support is head & shoulders above the rest.

Pacific Ace Hardware is one of the greatest stores in Vacaville. Everyone is receptive, polite, and super helpful. They have a great selection of variety gifts, paint, hardware, and gardening tools. Normally it’s very good service but the last few times I’ve went in I’ve waited at the paint station for 20+ minutes without help. A worked came over after 20minutes and looked at me and then took a phone order for a quart of paint and left. Normally good but the paint section needs help

Made an appointment to meet with their Stihl specialist, when I got there, an older gentlemen and younger kid told me he just went to lunch. I told them I just spoke to Trevor the specialist and told him I’d be there in 30 minutes and he told me he’d be there. They didn’t seem to care. I asked if there was another Stihl specialist, they looked at each other with blank faces and said no. I asked how long Trevor would be on lunch, they said we don’t know.No sorry or apology, they didn’t care one but I wasted my time coming there.Felt like I was at Home Depot. Definitely made me think twice about if Ace associates are better than Home Depot. Always thought so, just maybe not at this location.

I had to go here because they were the only one in my area that had 1.5 and 2 copper parts.. staff actually knew the store and were able to help me get in and out without spending any more time than necessary. Nice people too. Over all one of my better shopping experiences.

The Pacific Hardware Ace Team are awesome! They answer their phones, without a menu button system. One ring and live voice on the other end. Each representative greets you and helps you find what you are looking for. All the way to a cashier with smiles. Thats a recipe for true excellence!

This is what hardware stores used to be like when I was young. I always come here when I need something and am unsure about it. Very helpful and friendly staff will help you get what you need. The absolute best hardware store in the Northbay. They appreciate your business and they let you know it. I think Ill make it a point to go there more often.

I love the old fashion help and store. The employees are helpful. Theyre knowledgeable. The store is crowded, but every nook and cranny is filled with things you might need. Its a little unkempt, but tidy. Its a nice place to search for lots of household/ fixer upper items. I went out of my way to go here instead of big box stores. Will go back. Do recommend. I had an electrical issue at home and needed to troubleshoot it. I made it to Pacific Hardware about 15 minutes before closing and asked if someone in electrical could answer some questions. They grabbed Al, who listened to my issue, and walked me through the process to troubleshoot it and got me all the parts I needed to fix it. Got home and found my problem and got it fixed. This is the kind of service you get at Pacific Hardware and what makes it my go to spot for home improvement supplies.

Ace truly is the place... I found my part only at Ace. A staff member assisted me and found my item in less than two minutes. Both items combined cost was less than $1.00. I went to purchase and the employee at the check out saw the price and waved me by. I couldnt believe it! Wow! Ive never met an employee there who was too busy to help me.

Its impossible to walk in this store and NOT receive a kind greeting. The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. If one cant answer the question, theyll track someone else down who can. Always friendly, never pushy. Returns are easy and getting in & out quickly is seldom a problem. Its a very busy little store that somehow ends up with just about anything hardware Ive ever needed. Itsdefinitely my very favorite go-to store.

I love this place. They have practically everything. I frequently find something Ive never seen before and have to be careful about sticking to my list; otherwise, Id easily spend $100 or more when Im just dropping in for a bag of dirt or a single piece of hardware. If I had to be shopping give me Pacific Ace Hardware over an other type of store/mall. I call this store My Happy Place. Their comment to service is impeccable. Where else can you go to find one nut or bolt without having to buy a whole bunch of them? Believe me sometimes you truly only need 1 not 10+. I can just wander around and come up with ideas for this or that. From plumbing sullplies I turned a cheap rolling chair in to a multi level computer desk along with some spare wood I had laying around. I use screening material for the bottom of my flower pots. And again I must say that if you have a question the staff there will have an answer for you unless of course theres nothing that can be done to fix it. The fact that I can just wander around and let my mind go wild with ideas is great too. The staff isnt pushy. I just tell them that I am just grazing around lol. Other Ace stores are good but this one is the tops!! I do wish that they were open later but I am just happy that they are around.

Cool place. Often when Home Depot doesnt have it, they have. Saved my bacon several time. Layout is pretty crazy, like they bought the buildings next to them to expand. If it is your first visit, have someone help you find what you need, ha ha. Highly recommended.

I like Ace, i find a lot of neat things here, but a lot of the times I dont find what I actually came for - they wont have it. They also seem to be extremely over staffed. Theres two employees standing there every time you turn around. Why do they need 30+ employees working at a time?! Makes no sense but 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I come here a lot and I love the staff. Very very helpful. If one employee does not have the answer to my question they have no problem asking another employee. The store is always staffed with more than enough people for my questions to be answered. I like that they have Ace products that work as well as name brand but at a lower cost.

WOW!!!!! I love small town Ace Hardware stores because they tend to have quaint and hard to find cookware and I hit the jackpot with this place! If you cant find it here, you probably dont need it. Do yourself a favor and carv out a few hours to go and walk around, you are going to find everything you didnt know that you needed for the house. The associates that work there are really nice and seem to know more about what you are doing than you ever will, but they dont make you feel dumb, it is kind of like having your granddad talk you through a project...and most of the time when you gp back you can find the same person to help you out.....great place

I love Pacific Ace Hardware store. The local neighborhood hardware store (not a Lowes or Home Depot) is a rarity these days and something to cherish. They have a unique stock of goods that the aforementioned big box retailers simply do not carry. Plus the people working at these local hardware stores are typically very knowledgeable. I love perusing the shelves here and stumbling upon something I didnt realize I needed until I saw it. They have an awesome selection of spray paint colors at Pacific Ace Hardware if you need to update/makeover some furniture/hardware with a quick spray of paint. Super nice folks here!

Always awesome ... Went to purchase 2 - 1/2 Compression Bib Valves for the House, and they were out of stock. They will receive stock delivery in 3 days, so the Associate placed them on reserve in my name for pick-up then.Bottom line is if they dont have those odd items (and more) in stock for your purchase, they will get it ! And there is always someone there to direct or assist you !

If you hate customer service, go somewhere else. Whats more, is that rarely have I seen prices been out of touch with competition. Some things might be a bit more expensive, and theyre not even trying to stock lumber, but if I know they have it I tend to go to them first simply for the better experience.

Bought a packaged garage door lock. Got home and the key in the package did not fit the lock it was packaged with. Went back and there was no similar to exchange with. I had cut the excess shaft off to fit my door so I have to exchange and not return it. Very inconvenient due to a bad quality control Chinese made part. Staff was as helpful as they could be.

I would easily have rated Ace Hardware in Vacaville as a 5...pre-pandemic. I went today and most employees wore their masks incorrectly (it goes over the nose...) or not at all. Many customers saw the example and dropped their masks too.They wont miss me, but I certainly wont be back for a while.

If you need hardware this is the only place to go! I wasted my time at automotive stores, home depot, Lowes, looking for grade 8 hardware, and Pacific Ace has it all and plenty of it. Not to mention all the fasteners, screws, springs, in SAE and metric. This place reminds me of an old school hardware store, maybe because it still is. One stop shop! The only thing they dont sell is groceries. Even though Home Depot is just down the street, I think Ill start making the drive from Fairfield because I ended up leaving with more than just nuts and bolts in my hand...
