We drove to the Monrovia CA location near our home, and Steven was assisting another customer. When he was done, Steven had just the right tempo, was so not like other salesmen, but listened, paused, asked questions of us. Short story: We bought. They delivered. Took away old mattress. Steven answered texts and questions, offered advice, followed through. 5 stars, we are super happy with our purchase and the Ortho experience!

Cant recommend this place enough! I went in first and met with Robert he was so amazing, knowledgeable, helpful. He let me know that there was a sale coming up gave me all the information I needed. We have been contemplating a split king adjustable bed, and have researched every one that is made. YIKES they are pricey. To get a “Sleep #” with the options I wanted was going to be over $10K. We decided to check out what Ortho had to offer. We purchased our last bed at Ortho and they were so helpful and courteous.Today Emanuel helped us to figure out what we wanted and the price is almost half what I would have paid elsewhere. They will deliver it and set it up for free, and I can try it out for more than three months, to be sure it is exactly what we need. We have the option of two different mattress types and firmness, or both sides the same.As always it was a pleasure to work with Ortho. My family and I made a weekend trip to this store to price out mattresses. I wasnt picky, but my husband sure was. We brought along our big-mouth baby and pitied the poor salesperson who got stuck with us. My husband put his game face on and got ready to play hard-ball. We didnt need to though. Our salesperson Emmanuel was GREAT!! He entertained our little monster with a balloon. Then he had us narrow down our choices in an almost a scientific way. We didnt feel like we had to wheel and deal, because he had our best interests in mind. He guaranteed us wed like our final choice and we really did. My husband and I have very different sleeping preferences and he came up with the best compromise. We were very happy with the price and love the topper and pillows that came with it. Then he said we could have it delivered on a Sunday in a matter of hours. I barely had enough time to clean before the whole set arrived. We could not have asked for a better buying experience! My story is too long but all i can say is that i will never buy a mattress here again. After having some issues with the delivery, i called and spoke with the person who said he was the manager. After explaining the situation to him, he told me he couldnt do anything and that the issue i had was my fault. Oh no I said as the salesman didnt give me correct info about having to use a bed frame from Ortho. The manager again said it was not Orthos fault and wouldnt even give an apology. He said that the customer is not always right and he hung up on me because I raised my voice at him. When i called back he would not answere. Since i was nearby, i went to the store and told him who i was. We went over the same thing and he kept insisting it was my fault. I did raise my voice again and he moved back and said I was scaring him. Oh please, Im a 65 year old woman with back and knee problems. When i asked his name he wrote Alex on one of the business cards. He lied about his name because when i called the store on Monday I was told they had no Alex working there and that his name is actually EMMANUEL. He was very rude and i dont understand the good reviews. He must have been having a very bad day because he acted in a very histrionic fashion. Suffice to say, i will never shop at Ortho again.

They have disposable covers for personal use when trying out the beds!UPDATE: nothing against Emmanuel, the sales rep, however customer service extends beyond point of sale. Reducing stars from 5 to 3 for the reason written below.The 3rd party delivery service Ortho Monrovia contracts with is horrible. They do not respect delivery times (we work from home, they called 1 hour ahead and show up in 20min), damaged the box spring when handling, damaged our antique sleigh bed. They were more interested in getting to the weekend vs providing appropriate service to customers who spent upwards of $5500.
