What a wonderful experience at their office. I was impressed by the fact that when the employees were walking in the said hello to everyone. Just absolutely fabulous. Dr. Downing introduced himself and showed me my X-ray. After his examination, he was very honest and upfront with my treatment options.I feel safe in his hands and I am grateful that he will be able to fix my thumb.Thank you.

Dr. Andry is absolutely fantastic. We trust him and his advice fully. He takes time to explain the process, answer questions, and address concerns. The frustrating and concerning part has been the staff follow-through and attention to detail. They are very kind and polite, however, you have to really, really push and stay on top of things for the logistics surrounding the process to happen. Be ready to politely, kindly, be sent to voicemail and good luck getting that promised call back. Read all materials and notes. I hope this part of the process gets fixed because Dr. Andry is top notch, his work deserves top notch support.

Dr. Kane has been providing excellent care for me for many years. The office staff are always cheerful and courteous. The nursing staff are wonderful and supportive. A special mention about nurse, Joey, who has been so supportive and offering helpful suggestions with my health care over the years. Dr. Kane always presents a cheerful and interested demeanor. He looks directly at you, wants to know how you are feeling and if you have any questions. He prepares you for any procedure and it always goes well with minimal discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Kane to anyone.

Dr Kane has done several of my surgeries. I was in a terrible auto accident years ago. And some doctors felt I would be in a wheelchair the rest of my life… I’m walking… I even have an ankle fusion and I don’t limp! Dr. Norman Kane has a plus bedside manners… Surgery skills are phenomenal… He treats each patient as If you are family… I would highly recommend him…

The phone is picked up immediately, with a smiling voice on the line. They scheduled me ASAP, with Dr. Downing, whom l know from long past. I went into my room a few minutes early A (male) nurse(?) asked and entered my information on a computer, and took X-rays. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Downing knocked and entered after He was bright, enlightening, funny and kind. Not many can say that about first experiences with MDs. After asking questions, Dr.Downing explained everything (with visual aids on the computer). Dictated his findings to a remote assistant, whom he introduced. He asked if I had questions, and shook my hand goodbye. The ladies in the office are efficient, courteous and kind. Great experience. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Dr Downing is so friendly and the staff is all welcoming. I have had a few surgeries with him and going to get a cortisone inj soon. He knows how nervous I am of needles so he is always reassuring me it’s not going to be bad and he even prescribes me something to calm my nerves. Dr Downing is a sweet man, he answers any questions my husband has and doesn’t seem to be bothered when he comes with me to my appointments.

Dr Downing did endoscopic carpel & cubital tunnel surgery. The surgery was successful and there were minimal skin openings. There were many issues with getting prior authorization to do both procedures at the same time. Both surgeries require general anesthesia & he said it would be inappropriate to have two surgeries that could be managed at the same time. Dr downing fought for me after numerous denials. My case manager said I was lucky to have him. Additionally he has a very nice manner and explains thing thoroughly.

Dr. Andry explained every possibility and pathway leading to my shoulder replacement. I am an RN, and have already had a shoulder replacement after I was hit by a car. After years of hearing you have bad anatomy, try PT, it was refreshing to have a doctor take the time to personally recommend a therapist, and ask for a follow up to see how Im doing in a few weeks. I had a severe wrist injury requiring surgery. The surgery was scheduled and done within 24 hours and results were positive. So I write this reluctantly, because I am so very grateful for having one of the best surgical doctors possible. Dr. Andry is second to none!His professionalism, compassion and attention to detail is top notch. I will be providing a thorough review for him specifically soon, just not on this profile.Now, onto the rest of my experience with the ortho one “team”. It’s time the truth be told. The support staff, including the receptionist, referral department and everyone else I have had to deal with from answering basic questions, regarding appointments, prescriptions, physical therapy follow up is an absolute joke.Follow through is NONEXISTENT if they even answer the phones or endless voicemails. When they do answer their incoming lines they often pickup and slam the calls on hold before you can ask for an extension or purpose for the call.I get the feeling it’s done intentionally so that you’re on hold so long you don’t leave a voicemail. Been on hold for 40 minutes plus countless times.Don’t even waste your time with their text follow up communication option. I’m still waiting weeks worth of text messages that I never got a single response from.Anyway, I am two weeks post op and my Dr wanted me in physical therapy weeks ago. Best I’ve been able to do in my condition is leave a voicemail for Mirabel at extension 1004, stating that her average response time is 72 hours or to reach her supervisor. That time frame was far exceeded last week.I will be forced to find a workaround from this incompetent office staff so I can properly recover. Such a bummer because it sounds like some of the most amazing doctors are supported by this group.

Dr. Andry was the on-call surgeon at the hospital when I had an emergency. I lucked out! He’s thorough. He talks about the medical aspects I’ll be working through as well as the mental and emotional. He doesn’t candy coat the recovery process and welcomes questions. my first surgery was a success, and I’ll be having another next week. The Doctor and his staff told me that to have an MRI, I first needed cortisone shots as part of the insurance and treatment plan. After the injections and my pain not subsiding, I called my provider to see if it was confirmed that I needed to have the cortisone shots first, and of course, that was not necessary. I went to another Doctor for a second opinion, and the Ortho 1 staff did not send my medical records over, and in fact, I told them that they wouldnt be treating me further due to an argument I had with the staff. As a result, of their negligence, dishonesty, and fraudulent activity, they have caused me severe pain. It turned out that Ortho 1 had misdiagnosed problem. A simple MRI before any treatment would have saved me a ton of money and time. Please be cautious with any treatment or offer they make. Its about a dollar with this company; the patient comes last.

Dr. Pallia is the best! I saw him fist back in 2018 for my left shoulder, which thankfully healed with non surgical treatment by Dr. Pallia. My right shoulder was not so lucky this year. I repeatedly injured my right shoulder sailing, and in addition to a torn rotator cuff tear, Dr. Pallia found found a bone spur on my right clavicle. I am grateful that Dr. Pallia and his staff got me into surgery promptly, and I am happy to say that the surgery was successful. I am in the final weeks of physical therapy and on schedule for a full recovery. I find Dr. Pallia to be very humble, but I know that he is an extremely proficient surgeon, and a perfectionist in his work. When I was in the hospital, everyone I encountered told me how good a surgeon Dr. Pallia is, and how I was in good hands; even the clerk checking me in for surgery! That really struck a note with me coming from those who work with him regularly; the administration staff, the pre and post-surgical nursing staff, and even the anesthesiologist, who is in the OR with him regularly. Their comments about Dr. Pallia seemed really genuine to my husband and myself as a matter of fact and his work speaks for itself.
