Orkin was our second choice to get rid of the bee hive late Sunday afternoon. (1st choice hung up on me ) I was surprised and grateful they answered. The professionalism of Anthony and his partner is amazing. We are thankful for them and their kindness and how they have worked with our schedules. We have decided to sign on for a regular service because of the outstanding service we have received. Orkin is now our first choice!

Feel like I’m in GOOD hands.Just finished getting one HECK of an education from our FABULOUS technician Victor. He filled us in on what WE needed to do and what ORKIN would be doing for US.Living in a very rural area, bugs and other varmints are kind of the norm, but THIS year, it felt like WAY more than normal. So, we needed some help. Victor told us what to expect in a realistic fashion and my stress level is WAY down. And for what they promise to do, the fees are very reasonable. (We should have done this months ago.) And thanks for taking the time to answer all of my anxiety filled questions. 😊

I first requested their service when we had ant infestation one summer and it was quickly resolved at the first appointment and Ive been using them ever since, for 2 yrs now. I like that if I need a follow up, they come out free of chargeThey also did a great job at getting rid of mosquitoes. The service isnt cheap but its worth it.

We placed a call to Orkin on Friday morning, however, it was before operating hours. We left a message and got a quick call back the same day. They scheduled someone to come out the following day (Saturday). We are very happy with our monthly service plan so far!

Scheduled for 12-4pm. By 4 no one arrived. I called the office and they said he would call me and was running late. He didn’t. 5pm I called again and they claimed they were scheduled between 4-6pm and would be there soon. He arrived after 5pm and now we need to be out of our house till after dark after waiting all day. I will be canceling the contract.

Scott is beyond attentive and amazing. We received our mosquito and pest control services with him yesterday. Not only was he able to clean the webs where others have ignored in the past, he was able to make sure he addressed my concerns about the black desert stink bugs. This morning, I have seen more than 20 of these bugs dead in my front yard and there are none in the home. Thanks Scott for an amazing experience.

I’ve had the Orkin service for almost a year now. We had a roach infestation and had hired a different company before Orkin, they were unsuccessful at getting rid of them. Orkin was able to get rid of them completely and permanently. I really thought it would be impossible but they got the job done. I pay for the subscription monthly and get regular service every month. The company is very professional and the technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. I will be keeping their subscription service for as long as they offer it. It’s worth every penny spent.

Orkin has provided me a great service…that has actually been very effective. I’ve been using their services for about 8 months now since moving into my new home & I can say that Im very pleased with the results. I had a leak under one of my bathroom sinks & unfortunately this plumber that I hired failed to seal the wall opening after repairing. So I had a host of creepy crawlers invading my home for several weeks before realizing where they had been entering from. Within a month they were all gone thanks to Orkin & my house has been clear of those pests since!Update: Nearly a year later, I am still bug & pest free!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I also appreciate the professionalism of the Orkin technicians, thanks!!!

Eddie Kirby called to let me know that he had arrived. He was very friendly and professional while he explained his “plan of attack “ for my mosquito problem. He was very clear and thorough. Afterwards, he knocked on my door to inform me that he was finished with the initial treatment. I felt well informed and assured that my mosquito problem would soon be a thing of the past. I’ve used this same surface in the past for a different house of mine and was highly satisfied with Orkin which is why I’m using it for my second home.

For many years, Ive been struggling to kill the bugs around my house. I dont know where they came from but they were very stubborn and the store-bought sprays never worked. Im so glad I found out about Orkin. All the bugs have vanished and the stuff they use works like magic! I highly recommend working with them. They get the job done! The people are so friendly, cooperative, professional, and come on time along with great communication! 10/10!Update:After almost nine months of working with Orkin, my house has been bug free. Finding bugs around the house or even outside is becoming quite rare! I used to use store-bought products but the bugs always kept coming back. Even in this drastically cold weather, they showed up to get the job done. Last week when it was raining, they showed up and did what they usually do even though it was pouring rain for about two days straight. The fact that they have a system for poor weather is amazing! I highly recommend choosing Orkin as they are people you can truly count on.

The Palmdale office managed by Nick Rangel is an unprofessional Clown. We had a very unsettling incident with Orkin.We had a small outstanding balance. We had planned to pay it by calling in. I do not like giving my credit card or banking info over the phone let alone to a guy that I dont know anything about who comes over and services my home for pests. But of course Orkin sent Koster Lester to come and collect on our account. This idiot knocked on the door, did not ask the person that answered their name or any verifying information. He just started spewing out information about our account. We called our branch manager, another idiot at Orkin, Mr. Nick Rangel. We explained to him what transpired and the only aspect of our conversation this genius was focused on is a payment. We let him know that was unacceptable to just haphazardly give out our information to anyone that answers the door and will listen. I have PTSD from being in a data breach, let me tell you, trying to get incorrect information off your credit, is a nightmare, so for Mr. Nick Idiot Rangel to just act like its not a big deal is absolutely scary and careless and hes the branch manager. A company is only as good as the people who run it. Next stop BBB.

Our bug guy is always so kind, professional, and thorough. He comes to the door before starting the service asking if I have any concerns/ requests & always listens, very knowledgeable, also changes the sticky traps in the garage & disposes of them on his own, not in our trashcans. Not to mention the fact I never see bugs around my house, if I do they’re dead, and never every any inside of the house. Im writing this review after the first visit. So obviously things may change. However I am content with the pricing. They showed up within the time window they game me. Anthony M. clearly went through the contract with me and made sure all my questions were answered and concerns addressed. I felt that he was knowledgeable in the services I requested. Overall Im very happy with my initial visit and hope the service dates go well.P.S. I did try to schedule with the other big company (Term___) for a quote. They gave a morning appointment. Their agent contacted me 2 hours after that window closed and told me he had me on his schedule for an afternoon visit. I immediately didnt feel like I was worth their time and made my decision easy to choose orkin.

Our Orkin guy, Scotty, always lets us know when he is coming to spray. He is very amiable and is responsive to our specific needs. We had a problem with black widows and we let him know. Yesterday I saw a black widow crawling on the patio and I could see that it was barely alive. I feel much safer now.Thanks so much Scotty!!!!As always Scotty was courteous. He called a few days ahead to let me know when he would be coming by.When he arrived I expressed concern about spraying in the back yard since we have puppies that are playing out there. I had a window for service between 8-10am. By 11am I had no contact from the technician with his eta or status on delay. I was given a possible eta of 12:40pm by customer service. We gave up and got a late start on our errands for the day. Both customer service representatives who were very professional and pleasant were unable to get in contact with the technician. I am still waiting for a call back to reschedule service.

Friendly, professional, and goes out of his way to make sure we are happy with the service.We have had scheduling issues in the past but that doesn’t seem to be happening now.. That has been our only issue with Orkin for quite awhile now so hopefully this continues to no longer be an issue.Regardless of the scheduling issues, it would take a pretty big problem to outweigh the awesome service that Scott gives every time we see him. Two technicians came out. They were both friendly, asked me if there were any issues they needed to address and then began spraying. They were very efficient, answered my questions and quickly finished. We had a problem with Silver Fish when we first moved in, a year ago, and havent seen any sign of them in several months. Same for normal pest found in the desert - no signs of spiders or roaches since they started taking care of our home. We have been very pleased with their service.

Orkin can do better in having more detail to their work. All they do is spray around your house in n out between 20 minutes. I need more detail to the work get in between the cracks were the insects hide, clear out the spider webs be more in concern with what the customer says. They do none of that. Just spray around the house and thats it. I can do for cheaper.

The rep was very professional and informative, but was late like 4 hours. I wasn’t told before they arrived that in order to spray the inside of the house, it would need to be empty for 2 hours. We have never used a pest control company and I have read Orkins reviews and their pretty great. We didn’t have a problem but we wanted to do preventative spring work since I have severe anxiety about bugs, especially spiders. Well we wanted to get the best but we got even more. Because of their high reviews, and that I like their commercials, I chose Orkin. One of the best decisions I have made! The high star level is earned and very true. Update: We are 8 years into service with Orkin. Quality and service remains great. Our tech has changed but we couldnt be happier. Victor has now been our tech for the last few years, including through the pandemic. We would recommend Orkin, solely based on our experience with the techs, and customer service. Not only that but the quality of the service had never disappointed. The service continues to be effective in keeping our home pest free. When we do get a straggler, we usually find them already dead. We love knowing that our kids can enjoy their playground without fear of spiders and insect nests around the yard or house. Orkin has really improved our quality of life when it comes to being able to actually enjoy our home to the fullest.Weve been using Orkin for a few years now. We have never had a bad experience with any of our techs. Always super friendly and helpful. They always work with us to accommodate our schedule. I’ve been using Orkin for years now, and they have been absolutely essential for my quality of life. At my rental property, we would get massive infestations of earwigs (I’m talking dozens everywhere in the house, climbing the walls) and their services completely wiped them out. I transferred my service to my new home when I moved, flawless experience. The customer service is incredible, the workers that come out and spray are kind, knowledgeable, and have excellent communication. I can’t say enough.I’ve also heard horror stories about people who had sick animals after using Orkin. I have over 40 animals from mammals to reptiles to invertebrates, and I’ve never had a single sick animal. I feel like it’s a fluke. If you’re careful and of course, keep your animals away from literal wet poison, you should be fine.

As generally happy, forgiving, and flexible people, my husband and I have reached our limit. The laundry list of complaints I have against this branch and Orkin in general is exhaustive and long. So long I couldnt possibly go through it here but dont let that detour you from the fact that this branch/companys incapablility of communicating correct information matches its inability to perform one simple visit without some kind of inconvenient hiccup. From constant misinformation between technicians (even after 5+ visits) to incorrect 2-hour window visits causing me to reschedule my whole day (and other scheduling difficulties), this branch/companys failure to meet Terminexs low bar is astounding. Why are we still using them? My husband is adamant about seeing things through and cancellation requires us to travel to 1952 (written, mailed letter). A much as Id like to see my mom as a cute little German child, Im not excited to see how 1952 would treat her future mixed and mouthy offspring. So well stay here in 2023 which, sadly, considering the time passed, isnt as forward thinking as it should be about my ethnicity and gender, and hope Orkin one day catches up with the times and allows cancellations on their clients online portal where they want you to feel like you have control but you really dont because none of the scheduled and reschedule appointments you placed on there ever really work out. Wait... Turns out my patient husband was pushed to his limit this past visit so were writing that letter today - here I come mom! I heard my grandma was a completely different woman when my mom was young, this should be an interesting trip.
